Mining Applicable Elite Alleles of Growth Duration, Plant Height and Panicle Number per Plant by Conditional QTL Mapping in Japonica Rice

Unconditional and conditional QTL mapping were conducted for growth duration (GD), plant height (PH) and effective panicle number per plant (PN) using a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population derived from a cross between two japonica rice varieties Xiushui 79 and C Bao. The role of soil testing and plant analysis as an integral program at agricultural experiment stations

Abstract

Agricultural Experiment Station researchers can and have played a primary role in the development of the soil testing and plant analysis techniques. Analytical methodology has far outdistanced our ability to use effectively the results of these tests and analyses. Continued research is needed to establish more effective methods of interpreting and utilizing results to prevent or correct uncovered nutrient element deficiencies.     

Regrowth Rates of Timothy and Meadow Fescue as Related to the Content of Remaining Water-soluble Carbohydrates and Non-elongated Tillers

The relationship between regrowth rates and the content of water-soluble carbohydrates in stubble (WSC) and percentage of non-elongated tillers (PNT) was studied in timothy (Phleum pratense L.) and meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis Huds.) cut at different phenological stages. Single plants were grown in pots and cut outdoors and then regrown under controlled climatic conditions. The data for the dry matter production during the following 3 weeks were fitted to an expolinear growth equation to determine an initial maximum relative regrowth rate (R _m) and a daily maximum regrowth rate (C _m). C _m appeared to be positively correlated to PNT in both species, whereas R _m was increased with increasing WSC. For regrowth after later cuts of meadow fescue there was a positive contribution to R _m by PNT.

调查了阜阳市乡土树种的种质资源和开发应用现状;结合实际提出了利用、开发野生乡土树种资源的应用策略;为在新一轮绿道建设中,对适宜的乡土植物资源的利用提供参考依据。     

揭阳市4种严重危害性外来入侵植物分析

多年的入侵植物调查发现,揭阳市外来入侵植物有31科92种,其中4种为揭阳市严重危害性植物,23种较严重危害性植物,65种一般性影响植物。介绍了4种严重危害性植物(空心莲子草、凤眼莲、马缨丹和五爪金龙)的生物学特性及控制方法。

“特种水产动物养殖学”是水产养殖专业重要的一门课程,为了适应时代发展及学生群体发展特征,增强学生学习积极性,提高教学效果,笔者结合多年教学经验,总结了目前该课的现状及存在的问题。通过进一步完善培养方案,明确培养目标,丰富教学方式,提升教学水平,多元化考核体系,提高学生综合能力等方式,来实现该课的教学改革,并最终提升教学效果,培养高质量专业人才的目的。

生物药剂防治苹果树腐烂病的田间试验

河南省自1987年开始在孟县、卢氏等县265亩苹果园中进行生物药剂治疗苹果树腐烂病的试验示范。以刮皮法和划刻法用农抗120、S-921和843康复剂涂抹病疤,一年后在发病季节调查。以刮皮法用农抗120处理的病疤,治愈率达100％,无一复发。以划刻法用农抗120处理的病疤治愈率为78-90％,以S-921和843康复剂处理的治疗效果达100％。作者认为这些生物药剂可取代福美砷治疗苹果树腐烂病。
