Lactate Kinetics in veterinary Critical Care: A Review

Elevation in blood lactate concentration, with or without accompanying metabolic acidosis, is a hallmark finding in patients with circulatory compromise, and is also consistently noted in other conditions affecting critically ill or injured individuals. Little is reported in a veterinary literature regarding lactate measurement in the emergency and critical care setting, despite impressive reports of the clinical usefulness of lactate measurement in people. The purpose of this article is to review lactate kinetics and the clinical utility of lactate measurement. Limitations to lactate evaluation will also be discussed.     

Effects of different angling practices on post-release behaviour of nest-guarding male black bass, Micropterus spp.

Abstract  This study evaluated how different angling practices affect the short-term post-release behaviour of nest-guarding male black bass, Micropterus spp. Male largemouth bass, M. salmoides (Lacepède), and smallmouth bass, M. dolomieu (Lacepède), were angled from their nests and subjected to treatments designed to simulate a variety of common angling practices associated with catch-and-release angling, including fishing tournaments. In addition, some nests had broods reduced (removal of the majority of the eggs or fry from the nest) during the angling treatments to simulate predation of offspring during the angling event. Fish subjected to procedures simulating fishing tournaments (including a 1-h livewell confinement and release 100 m from the nest) exhibited significantly longer rest periods prior to returning to their nest than did other treatment groups. This rest period was longer for largemouth bass than smallmouth bass. Brood removal and air exposure increased abandonment rates compared with controls. These results show that sublethal stressors inherent in some angling practices (such as air exposure and livewell confinement) may delay the return of male black bass to their nest. In the presence of nest predators, the delay in return time could result in increased nest abandonment.

数字鸿沟问题是我国在构建和谐社会过程中所要面对和克服的重大问题,承担着传播文化和维护信息公平职能的图书馆,应为消除数字鸿沟努力。本文就此方面进行了分析并具体就图书馆可采取人文关怀的方式消除数字鸿沟提出一些想法。     

乡村振兴战略下县域康养产业发展优化路径——以江西省赣州市定南县为例

产业兴旺是乡村振兴的第一要务,在当前康养需求激增的背景下,探究县域康养产业的发展对乡村振兴的影响非常重要。在基于实地调查研究的基础上,通过案例分析方法,分析了江西省赣州市定南县发展康养产业的区位、生态、人文、政策等方面的优势以及在产业融合、康养旅游、“康养+”多业融合上所取得的成效,同时结合分析县域康养产业发展过程中普遍存在的产业融合、产业体系、产业人才、产业竞争等方面的问题,着重提出县域政府应在市场定位、规划设计、发展模式、基础保障等方面完善发展策略,探寻县域康养产业优化发展的路径。     

图书馆建筑环境对人文精神的体现

图书馆环境包括建筑外环境、内环境以度服务环境3方面。文章提出了图书馆建筑环境对人文精神的体现．应当从馆舍建筑的外环境和内环境两方面入手：应凸显人文关怀的结构设计理念;营造优美环保的绿色环境;室内环境布局、装饰要蕴涵审美情趣,设施建以致用;保障健康的室内空气质量,并提出了如何营造具有人文关怀的服务环境。     

疫苗、药物对仔猪黄白痢的控制效果观察

对248头仔猪采用免疫预防仔猪黄白痢，224头仔猪用畜痢灵、消维康两种药物预防黄白痢，结果表明免疫预防后仔猪的成活率87.5%，药物预防后的成活率为95.3%和96.3%，预防后的断乳重三组极显著高于对照组，而三组内无显著性差异。另外对520头发生黄白痢的仔猪用药物治疗，结果畜痢灵的治愈率最高，达91.6%；断乳重比较发现三种药物与对照组均出现显著性差异，畜痢灵组断乳重极显著地高于免疫组，其它组与免疫组无显著性差异。

作为物质“形象”的第一层面被人们所感知的“物象”是不依赖于人之意识的客观存在。基于对传统村落人文物象的实证研究，认为其能够体现系统的传统造物文化思想，将其概括为“规则、参照、功能与技术、核心”四个层面，并从中揭示了“天、地、人、物”之间的关系，进一步阐释了造物文化思想对传统村落人文物象具有的现代启示。
