Leprosis is caused by the Citrus leprosis virus cytoplasmic type and is vectored by the mite Brevipalpus yothersi. Miticide applications, which cost $54 million annually, are based on inspection for the presence of mites. The aim of the present study was to characterize the spatial patterns of B. yothersi-infested trees and trees with leprosis symptoms for further improvement in sampling and disease control. The presence of mites and the occurrence of leprosis were assessed over two years in 1160 Valencia trees and 720 Natal trees in a commercial sweet orange grove in Sao Paulo State, Brazil. To assess the natural growth and dispersal of mites and leprosis, mite populations were not controlled during the experimental period. Maps of mite-infested trees and trees with leprosis symptoms were analysed at three different levels of spatial hierarchy using complementary methods, i.e. among adjacent trees within and across rows, within quadrats, and the strength and orientation of aggregation among quadrats. The study showed that the spatial patterns of virus-infected and mite-infested trees were different, with a strong aggregation pattern of trees with leprosis symptoms that increased over time. Conversely, the spatial pattern of B. yothersi showed randomness or weak aggregation at all three spatial hierarchical levels. Disease incidence increased steadily in plots of both cultivars, unlike in mite-infested trees where incidence fluctuated over time. These results have important implications for the development of better management strategies for leprosis. Sampling methods and action thresholds for mite control should consider primary disease inoculum in addition to the incidence of mites. 相似文献

小型饲料搅拌机和平模颗粒机组合使用制备颗粒饲料的工艺研究 《畜牧与饲料科学》2022,43(2):41-45
[目的] 研究JB-300型精饲料搅拌机和300型平模颗粒机组合使用制备牛羊精补料颗粒饲料的最佳工艺参数。[方法] 测定不同搅拌时间、装载系数对饲料混合均匀度的影响;确定搅拌混合工艺参数的基础上,测定不同玉米粉碎粒度、水分含量对颗粒饲料成型率的影响。以模孔直径、玉米粉碎粒度和水分含量为测定因素,以成型率和硬度的综合加权评分值为指标,确定制备颗粒饲料的最优组合参数。[结果] 搅拌时间为10 min、20 min的变异系数均显著(P<0.05)低于搅拌5 min和15 min。装载系数为80%时,变异系数显著(P<0.05)低于装载系数为70%和60%。玉米粉碎粒度为2 mm和4 mm时,颗粒饲料成型率显著(P<0.05)高于玉米粉碎粒度为6 mm和8 mm。水分含量为10%和13%时,颗粒饲料成型率显著(P<0.05)高于水分含量为16%和19%。影响正交试验综合加权平均分值的模孔直径、玉米粉碎粒度、水分含量的极差分别为18.76、1.64和3.47。[结论] JB—300型精饲料搅拌机混合饲料最佳参数:装载系数为80%、搅拌时间为10 min;300型平模颗粒机制作精补料颗粒饲料最佳参数:模孔直径为4 mm(压缩比为6)、玉米粉碎粒度为4 mm、水分含量为13%。 相似文献

One year of continuous data from two eddy-flux towers established along an elevation gradient in coastal Shanghai was analyzed to evaluate the tidal effect on carbon flux (Fc) over an estuarine wetland. The measured wavelet spectra and cospectra of Fc and other environmental factors demonstrated that the dynamics of Fc at both sites exhibited a tidal-driven pattern with obvious characteristics at scales between 10 and 20 days (256–512-h). Environmental factors exerted major controls on the carbon balance at finer temporal scales. Fc was more sensitive to tides at the low-elevation site than at the high-elevation site. Overall, the mean nighttime Fc during spring tides was lower than that during neap tides, indicating suppressed ecosystem respiration under inundation. Larger differences were observed at the low-elevation site due to longer inundation durations. In contrast, daytime Fc was more variable since plants reacted differently in different growth periods and under different tidal elevations. The amplitudes of diurnal Fc during tidal periods were larger than those reported for other wetland types, implying a great potential for future carbon sequestration. Whilst tides would also transport organic matter to nearby estuaries and hence may incur carbon emission in the receiving ecosystems. Thus, further study on lateral carbon transport is required to investigate the tidal effect on the carbon sink/source role of the wetland. 相似文献
