The genes Ms2 for male sterility and Rht10 for dominant dwarfing located on the short arm of chromosome 4D in common wheat arc closely linked. Male sterile, dwarf F1 plants from the cross of male sterile‘Chinese Spring’× dwarf‘Ai-bian’were backcrossed with the variety‘Chinese Spring, From this offspring a spontaneous chromosome translocation was isolated resulting in a recombinant male sterile and dwarf genotype.  相似文献

Using the genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) technique, one translocation line, seven translocation-addition lines, five translocation plus translocation addition lines and two ditelosomic addition lines were identified in backcross progenies of Triticum aestivum L. -Psathyrostachys juncea (Fisch.) Nevski intergeneric hybrids. No complete P. juncea chromosomes were detected in the 25 lines studied. The results suggest that intact P. juncea chromosomes may be difficult to isolate in a wheat background. 振动载荷作用下耕作土壤作用力复杂多变,为研究入土角、振幅、振频对土壤作用力、牵引阻力的影响,将耕作土壤视为粘弹性材料,根据深松铲对土壤进行切削、提升、再切削,建立考虑分段土壤作用力的振动深松机-土壤系统的力学模型,采用渐近法与数值积分求解分析该模型,分析表明入土角为45°、振幅为0.001 m、振频为10 Hz时,土壤作用力较小。利用振动深松机进行试验研究,试验数据与仿真数据对比,验证了模型的正确性。试验结果进一步表明利用振动可以减小土壤作用力,降低拖拉机牵引阻力,提高土壤深松质量。  相似文献

The objective of this study is to present a new application of optical and radar remote sensing with high spatial (∼10 m) and temporal (a few days) resolutions for the detection of tillage and irrigation operations. The analysis was performed for irrigated wheat crops in the semi-arid Tensift/Marrakech plain (Central Morocco) using three FORMOSAT-2 images and two ASAR images acquired within one week at the beginning of the 2005/2006 agricultural season.The approach we developed uses simple mapping algorithms (band thresholding and decision tree) for the characterisation of soil surface states. The first images acquired by FORMOSAT and ASAR were processed to classify fields into three main categories: ploughed (in depth), prepared to be sown (harrowed), and not ploughed-not harrowed. This information was combined with a change detection analysis based on multitemporal images to identify harrowing and irrigation operations which occurred between two satellite observations.The performance of the algorithm was evaluated using data related to land use and agricultural practices collected on 124 fields. The analysis shows that drastic changes of surface states caused by ploughing or irrigation are detected without ambiguity (consistency index of 96%). This study provided evidence that optical and radar data contain complementary information for the detection of agricultural operations at the beginning of agricultural season. This information could be useful in regional decision support systems to refine crop calendars and to improve prediction of crop water needs over large areas.  相似文献

Alternative land management practices such as conservation or no-tillage, contour farming, terraces, and buffer strips are increasingly used to reduce nonpoint source and water pollution resulting from agricultural activities. Models are useful tools to investigate effects of such management practice alternatives on the watershed level. However, there is a lack of knowledge about the sensitivity of such models to parameters used to represent these conservation practices. Knowledge about the sensitivity to these parameters would help models better simulate the effects of land management. Hence, this paper presents in the first step a sensitivity analysis for conservation management parameters (specifically tillage depth, mechanical soil mixing efficiency, biological soil mixing efficiency, curve number, Manning's roughness coefficient for overland flow, USLE support practice factor, and filter strip width) in the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). With this analysis we aimed to improve model parameterisation and calibration efficiency. In contrast to less sensitive parameters such as tillage depth and mixing efficiency we parameterised sensitive parameters such as curve number values in detail.In the second step the analysis consisted of varying management practices (conventional tillage, conservation tillage, and no-tillage) for different crops (spring barley, winter barley, and sugar beet) and varying operation dates. Results showed that the model is very sensitive to applied crop rotations and in some cases even to small variations of management practices. But the different settings do not have the same sensitivity. Duration of vegetation period and soil cover over time was most sensitive followed by soil cover characteristics of applied crops.  相似文献

Sustainable food production in semi-arid tropical countries can be achieved through efficient utilization of rainwater. A field experiment to assess the grain yield, seasonal water use (WU), water use efficiency (WUE) and precipitation use efficiency (PUE) of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) intercropped with cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) on two tillage systems was conducted during the 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 cropping seasons at the University of Venda (22°58′ S, 30°26′ E at 596 m above sea level). The experiment was configured as a 2 × 2 × 2 factorial design with three replications. The tillage treatments were conventional tillage (CT) (control) and in-field rainwater harvesting (IRWH) system. The IRWH is a special crop production technique that promotes runoff on 2.0-m wide no-till strip between crop rows and collects the runoff water in basins where it infiltrates into the soil profile. The treatments in the cropping system (CS) consisted of a sole crop (sunflower or cowpea) and an intercrop (sunflower × cowpea). Results of the experiment revealed that IRWH led to a significant (P < 0.05) increase in sunflower grain yield in the second season but cowpea grain yield was not influenced by tillage systems. IRWH resulted in significantly higher WU, WUE and PUE of both crops compared to CT system in the second season. The CS had significant effects on sunflower grain yield in both seasons but none on the cowpea grain yield. WU was significantly higher in intercrops than in sole cowpea and sole sunflower in the first and second season, respectively. WUE and PUE were significantly greater in sole sunflower than in the intercrops but less in the sole cowpea than in the intercrops.  相似文献

Human population pressure has forced smallholder farmers in some areas of the central plateau region of the Ethiopian highlands to cultivate plots located on slopes or hillsides having varying amounts of stone cover. The objectives of this pilot study were to determine if slope and(or) stone cover influenced tillage operations on smallholder farms in the Debre Birhan area of the Ethiopian highlands, and to examine the relationship between different soil/tillage-related factors and draft of the indigenous single-tined ard (maresha). This paper also briefly describes the traditional systems of cropping and soil management, and provides data on selected physical and chemical properties of soils found in the study area. A land classification (LC) system was developed to categorize plots according to the slope and stone cover. Surface stone cover of plots was calculated and a method of estimating subsurface stones was tested. Tillage measurements included plowing frequency or number (PN) per area per annum, soil moisture tension, plowing depth, furrow “wedge” of soil moved, area plowed, contour angle, and the speed of travel and pulling force exerted by oxen. Plots were located on slopes ranging from 0% to 23%. Degree of slope was a key factor in determining the acuteness of angle of the contour at which plowing is done prior to seed covering, but had no significant effect on maresha draft. Stone cover of plots ranged up to 27%, with individual stones moved by the ard weighing up to 2.5 kg. Plowing depth ranged from 10.1–15.3 cm for all PN across LC. Oxen travelled at speeds of 0.35–0.58 m s−1. Mean values for draft of the maresha across LC ranged from 0.83–1.04 kN. Farmers plowed from 0.10–0.15 ha during a 5–6 h work period, irrespective of LC or PN. Soil moisture tension (range 16–33 kPa) was found not to have a significant effect on draft, due to tillage being carried out prior to the major and minor rains. Percent stone cover explained very little of the variation in implement draft (R2=0.10). Adding stone weight to the model increased R2 slightly (0.22), but significance was low (P<0.16). Furrow wedge of soil displaced by the ard head accounted for most of the variation in draft of the maresha across all LC and PN (R2=0.75, P<0.008). The design and construction of the maresha allows it to be used equally well for tillage operations on plots having minimal or high stone cover which may be located on flat or gentle sloping land, or on steep hillsides.  相似文献

Distribution of calcium in the apple has been quantified using mineral analyses of fruit sections during the mid-1900s by various researchers. Most of the work was done either at harvest, or after storage. We used Proton-induced X-ray spectrometry (PIXE) and Scanning Electron Microscopy to correlate Ca distribution in apples to results obtained from mineral analyses (MA). For fruit at harvest transverse distribution of Ca in ‘Braeburn’ apples determined by PIXE confirmed similar analyses with MA. It was not possible to establish a significant relationship between the total Ca concentration determined by PIXE and soluble Ca concentration from MA in this paper, either at harvest, or 80 days after full bloom (dafb). A significant correlation was found between PIXE and SEM results 80 dafb.  相似文献
