[目的]探讨不同肥料配施对红车轴草生长发育的影响。[方法]以从美国引进的红车轴草Agivasion为供试品种,在大田条件下设置不施肥、单施N、NP配施和NPK配施4个处理,研究不同施肥处理对红车轴草生长发育的影响。[结果]施肥促进了红车轴草的生长发育,如:株高增加,尤以NP配施的促进作用最大;促发分枝,以NPK配施的促进效应最好;促进根颈增粗,以NP配施、NPK配施的效应较好。施肥在0.01水平上极显著促进红车轴草的茎、叶干物质积累和单株产量增长,促进效应以NPK配施〉NP配施≈单施N〉〉CK,各施肥处理之间单株产量差异不显著。[结论]合理施肥可促进红车轴草的生长发育。 相似文献

Abstract Acquisition of carbohydrates and their partitioning to storage organs are decisive attributes for the persistence of perennial leys. It was therefore of interest to analyse radiation-use efficiency (RUE) and root allocation (br) in one-, two-, and three-year-old red clover–grass leys as functions of growth period (first and second growth, ley age), proportion of clover, and site properties (location, soil type, humus content). By calibrating RUE and br, the ley yields simulated with a growth model were adjusted to the values observed during two consecutive years at 33 organic farms located in the southern and the northwestern coastal regions of Finland. Driving variables of the simulations were daily measurements of weather. RUE declined from the first to the second growth and further with ley age, while its variability increased. The value of br decreased from the first to the second growth, and was positively correlated with RUE. The high variability of RUE between different sites, and the absence of correlations between site properties and RUE, were mainly attributable to differences in overwintering and regrowth conditions. Early measurements of above-ground biomass subsequent to overwintering and cutting, and the inclusion of site-specific measurements of soil properties would have increased the general validity of the calibrated parameter values. RUE correlated positively with proportion of clover. However, the increase of the proportion of clover from the first to the second growth was not strong enough to balance the concurrent decline of RUE. With increasing ley age there were two concurrent and reinforcing patterns, namely a decrease in proportion of clover and in RUE. Thus, both symbiotic N fixation and vigour of perennial red clover–grass leys declined with ley age. With regards to RUE, however, three-year-old leys were still productive. 相似文献

Inappetence is commonly associated with parasitism and has been observed in both housed and pastured ruminants. In seeking a functional explanation for these observations, it has been hypothesised that parasitized animals may feed more selectively in order to proportionally increase the protein content of their diet and thus partially compensate for their reduced feed intake. Support for this theory is found principally in studies in housed animals under carefully controlled experimental conditions. Grazing animals face a far more heterogeneous environment and a multiplicity of potentially confounding factors that could influence diet selection. Controlled grazing of adjacent monocultures of grass and clover can mitigate some of these variables and was used in the current study to examine the dietary preference of dairy heifers with sub-clinical parasitic gastroenteritis when compared to those receiving regular anthelmintic treatments. Grazing behaviour and herbage intake rates were determined through the use of jaw-movement recorders, direct observation and short-term liveweight change. Consistent with previous observations and despite evidence that nematode burdens were low in the untreated control heifers, a reduction in daily grazing time of 56 min (P = 0.054) was observed in the control animals. There was, however, no evidence that the control heifers showed greater preference for clover compared with ryegrass: partial preference for clover was 73.0% in the untreated controls and 75.5% in the treated heifers. Furthermore control heifers were observed grazing the clover swards significantly (P = 0.032) less frequently than the treated heifers. This study provides additional evidence in grazing cattle for parasite-induced inappetence, manifest as a reduction in grazing time and in subtle changes in ingestive behaviour. It is frequently hypothesised that high soil fungal/bacterial ratios are indicative for more sustainable agricultural systems. Increased F/B ratios have been reported in extensively managed grasslands. To determine the shifts in fungal/bacterial biomass ratio as influenced by grassland management and to find relations with nitrogen leaching potential, we sampled a two-year-old field experiment at an organic experimental farm in the eastern part of The Netherlands. The effect of crop (grass and grass-clover), N application rate (0, 40, 80, ) and manure type (no manure, farm yard manure and slurry) on the F/B ratio within three growing seasons was tested, as well as relations with soil and crop characteristics, nitrate leaching and partial N balance. Biomass of fungi and bacteria was calculated after direct counts using epifluorescence microscopy. Fungal and bacterial biomass and the F/B ratio were higher in grass than in grass-clover. The F/B ratio decreased with increasing N application rate and multiple regression analysis revealed a negative relationship with pH. Bacterial activity (measured as incorporation of [3H]thymidine and [14C]leucine into bacterial DNA and proteins) showed the exact opposite: an increase with N application rate and pH. Leaching increased with N application rate and was higher in grass-clover than in grass. Partial N balance was more positive at a higher N application rate and showed an inverse relationship with fungal biomass and F/B ratio. We conclude that the fungal/bacterial biomass ratio quickly responded to changes in management. Grasslands with higher N input showed lower F/B ratios. Grass-clover had a smaller fungal biomass and higher N leaching than grass. In general, a higher fungal biomass indicated a lower nitrogen leaching and a more negative partial N balance (or smaller N surplus), but more observations are needed to confirm the relationship between F/B ratio and sustainability. 相似文献

N2O emissions were measured from three contrasting onion (Allium cepa L.) production systems over an 8.5-month period. One system was established on soil where a clover sward had 3 months earlier
been ploughed in (ploughed clover site). This production system followed conventional production management practices. The
other two systems were established on soil where a mixed herb ley had 3 months earlier been either ploughed or rotovated.
These last two production systems followed the guidelines of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements
(IFOAM). Cumulative N2O emissions were significantly greater from the ploughed clover site compared to the ploughed ley site (3.8 and 1.6 kg N2O-N ha–1, respectively), while cumulative N2O emissions from the ploughed ley and rotovated ley sites were not significantly different from each other. Emissions from
all sites were dominated by episodes of high N2O flux activity following seedbed preparation and drilling, when soil water suction (SWS) was shown to be the rate-controlling
variable. The decline in the N2O fluxes after these peak emissions followed clear exponential relationships of the form F=Ae–
kt
(r≥0.91), where F is the daily flux and A is the y-intercept. First-order decay constants (k) during these periods of declining N2O fluxes (corresponding to half-lives of 2.6–3.0 days) were not significantly different in magnitude from the first-order
rate constants that characterised the increasing SWS. Gross differences in cumulative emissions between the clover and ley
sites were attributed to the influence of differing soil pHs at the two sites on the N2O:(N2O+N2) ratio in the denitrification products. It also appeared that fertiliser applications to the clover site had both direct
and indirect effects on N2O emissions by: (1) enhancing N2O emissions via potential nitrification, (2) increasing the NO3
– supply for enhanced N2O emissions via denitrification, and (3) influencing the N2O:(N2O+N2) ratio by lowering soil pH and increasing NO3
– concentrations. Onion crop yields were greater at the clover site, mainly due to the higher density of planting made possible
under a conventional production philosophy. Expressing the yield on the basis of net N2O emissions, 23 t onions kg–1 N2O-N was obtained from the ploughed clover, which was double that obtained for the two systems based on the ley site. However,
when the N2O emissions from the cultivation of the soils prior to the sowing of the onions was included, all three systems produced a
similar yield per kilogram of N2O-N emitted, averaging 10 t kg–1.

Phosphatase activities of pasture plants and soils: Relationship with plant productivity and soil P fertility indices 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
Summary Phosphatase activities of herbage roots and soil were measured at low- and high-fertility pasture sites over 12 months. Seasonal trends were examined and relationships with herbage yields, plant P contents, soil moisture and available P were assessed. The phosphatase activities generally followed complex seasonal patterns, although some trends were apparent. At the low-fertility site, where organic P provides most plant P, herbage and root phosphatase activities were correlated significantly (P<0.05) with available organic P, although generally, the plant phosphatases were not good indices of plant yield or P status. Soil moisture content appeared to be the major factor controlling plant phosphatase activity. Herbage phosphatase responded negatively at the low-fertility site, probably as a consequence of lower P availability from dry surface soil. Root phosphatase responded positively at both sites, indicating a different physiological role from that of the herbage enzyme. At the low-fertility site, soil phosphatase was correlated significantly (P<0.05) with herbage yield. 相似文献

为评价三叶草3个品种间抗旱能力的强弱,采用石蜡切片法观察其茎解剖结构,分析茎形态结构与不同品种抗旱性的关系,并测定生理指标游离脯氨酸、可溶性糖和可溶性蛋白含量辅以验证.结果表明:测定茎部6个指标中有5个指标,包括表皮细胞厚度、皮层厚度、角质层厚度、导管直径及木质部面积与维管束面积比值在品种间差异极显著(P<0.01),可作为评定三叶草抗旱性形态结构的理想指标.通过隶属函数值法综合分析茎的形态结构评价3个品种的抗旱能力,依次为黑龙江乡土白三叶(Trifolium repens L.)>瑞文德(T.repens L.)>普通红三叶(T.pratense L.);其相应生理指标判断的抗旱性结果一致. 相似文献

Seasonal changes in grazing capacity of an irrigated grass/legume mixture consisting of lucerne, red clover, white clover, tall fescue, cocksfoot and perennial ryegrass were determined in the Rûens area of the southern Cape. Applying variable stocking rates and three grazing pressures (1,5; 2,25 and 3,0 kg DM/dry sheep‐unit/ day) in a six‐paddock grazing system, it was found that the mean annual stocking rate for maximum wool yield was 54,4 dry sheep‐units/ha over a period of three years. The seasonal grazing capacity of the pasture varied throughout the year and dry matter availability was most limiting during winter and highest during spring. The clover component of the pasture was depressed by the high grazing pressure and declined with age, while the grass content increased proportionally. The proportional lucerne content of the pasture material was more stable and was promoted by the high grazing pressure, but was not influenced by increased pasture age. 相似文献
