Cowpea plants ( Vigna sinensis Savi.) were grown in pots for two successive years. These plants were daily maintained water holding capacities (15, 25, 45, 65 %).
The foliage of plants grown at every level of soil moisture was sprayed till dripping with IAA solutions (0, 10, 50, 100 mg/l) three times after 3, 6 and 9 weeks from sowing. Samples were taken at the two physiological stages before flowering and during flowering for growth measurements and determinations of nitrogen fractions.
Water shortage led to retardation of stem length, number of internodes, number of leaves and dry weight shoots. IAA increasing the same parameters only when applied at concentrations of 10 and 50mg/1 at moisture level 65 %, 45 % and 25 % of W.H.C.
Water stress decreased total-N and protein-N contents of cowpea shoots. On the other hand total soluble- N content was increased under the same conditions. IAA increased total-N and protein-N content of cowpea shoots. Meanwhile, the same growth regulator decreased total soluble-N when applied at 45% 25 % and 15 % W.H.C. levels. 相似文献

A new mutant strain J3 from Agaricus blazei Murril was obtained by 60Co irradiation. The yields of successive generations were increased more than 70% to compare with their original strain. The component analysis on amino acids and fatty acid illuminated that the nutrient value of strain J3 fruiting body was better than the original strain. The apparent nodule structure was found in the hyphea of J3 strain through the observation by scanning electron microscope. RAPD analysis showed the great difference of PCR fingerprints between J3 and its original strain. It is a promising mutant strain for further commercial development in the future. 相似文献

本试验以9头25kg左右的二元杂交阉公猪为试验动物,采用消化试验(全收粪法)以及屠宰后检测小肠肠壁组织的方法,通过对生长猪消化道肠壁组织以及猪对日粮营养物质消化作用的研究,探讨了日粮中添加60mg/kg对氨基苯胂酸对生长猪消化机能的某些影响。研究结果表明:与对照组或土霉素碱组日粮相比较。日粮中添加60mg/kg浓度的对氨基苯胂酸能够更好的促进生长猪的消化能力;并使干物质、有机物质和粗蛋白质的消化率分别较对照组日粮提高3.42%、2.35%和4.33%,使能量利用率提高2.51%,且各种氨基酸的利用率也得到相应的改善;同时,添加对氨基苯胂酸对猪消化道(十二指肠、空肠和回肠)肠壁组织(粘膜高度、腺体高度、腺体数、粘膜下层、肌层以及浆膜等)能更好的吸收营养物质也产生了较好的促进作用。 相似文献

AIM: To explore the changes and the mechanism of heart functions in the rats with spleen-qi deficiency syndrome. METHODS: The rats were randomly divided into blank control group and spleen-qi deficiency model group. The changes of cardiac functions in the rats were determined by ultrasonic imaging with a high-resolution in vivo imaging system. HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes. The protein expression of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) in the myocardium was assessed by Western blotting. The contents of BNP and cAMP in the serum and myocardium were measured by ELISA. The mRNA expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and protein kinase A (PKA) was detected by real-time PCR. RESULTS: Compared with blank control group, the myocardial cells in the model group had different degrees of necrosis and degeneration. Stroke volume and ejection fraction were decreased. The contents of cAMP and BNP in the serum and myocardium were increased in model group. The protein expression of BNP and the mRNA expression of bFGF and PKA were also increased.CONCLUSION: Spleen-qi deficiency syndrome causes heart function decline in rats. The expression of BNP, cAMP, PKA and bFGF is all increased. 相似文献

The hemoglobin (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), erythrocytes (R.G.), serum iron (SI) and unsaturated iron binding capacity (UIBG) were examined in a total of 386 purchased calves for the duration of 1 year. The calves were tested within 3 days of arrival at the buyer’s herd. The average age of the calves was 28 ± 10 days ().The results may be summarized as follows:
- Approx. 35% of the calves had Hb values ≦ 10.0 g/100 ml.
- Fifteen% of the calves had ≦ 6.0 × 106 R.C. per µl.
- Fifty-three calves or about 14% showed SI values ≦ 40 µg/100 ml and 131 calves or 34% ≦ 80 µg/100 ml.
- Twenty-seven % of the calves had UIBG values > 501 µg/100 ml.
- Almost half the calves (48%) had a saturation percentage of transferrin with iron below 20% and 138 calves (36%) below 15%.
