青霉素处理对陈豌豆种子发芽及幼苗生长的影响

以豌豆种子为材料,研究了青霉素的不同处理浓度、处理时间、处理方法等对其种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响.试验结果表明,先用水浸2 h再用300 mg/L的青霉素溶液浸泡豌豆种子6 h有利于促进种子迅速萌发,并可显著提高种子发芽率.     

综合性公园老年人活动空间设计

通过对老年人生理、心理及行为的特征和需求分析,结合目前综合性公园中存在的一系列问题,提出适宜老年人活动空间的设计原则及各种空间形式,并讨论老年活动空间中设施、色彩及植物的设计方法,以期为今后综合性公园老年活动空间规划设计提供理论依据。     

Comparison of Nutrient Digestibility Between Adult and Aged Horses

There is little published work comparing digestibility in healthy adult versus healthy aged horses. Researchers hypothesized that there would be no differences in macronutrient digestibility between eight adult (5–12 years) and nine aged (19–28 years) horses fed three diets in a Latin square design. Seventeen stock-type mares were randomly assigned for a 5-week period to one of three diets: hay only (HAY), hay plus a starch- and sugar-rich concentrate (CHO), or hay plus a fat- (oil) and fiber-rich concentrate (FF). Each diet period comprised 3 weeks of outdoor group drylot feeding, 2 weeks of indoor stalled individual feeding, followed by a 72-hour digestibility trial including total urine and fecal collection. Feed, fecal, and/or urine samples were analyzed to determine dry matter, crude protein, fat, energy, calcium, and phosphorus apparent retention as well as apparent digestibility. Neutral detergent fiber digestibility was also determined. Mean body weight was lower in aged than in adult horses (455 ± 12 kg vs. 500 ± 13 kg; P = .02), but body condition score (BCS) did not differ between groups (aged horses, 4.8 ± 0.2 BCS and adult horses, 5.1 ± 0.2 BCS; P = .20). No age differences in digestibility, apparent digestibility, or apparent retention were seen for any of the variables measured. Based on the results of this study, total tract macronutrient digestibility appears to be similar between healthy adult and aged horses.     

1例老龄犬子宫蓄脓的手术治疗

[目的]对1例子宫蓄脓的老龄犬进行手术治疗。[方法]通过子宫卵巢完全切除术,对1例子宫蓄脓的老龄犬进行治疗。[结果]老龄犬进行手术治疗后,生命体征稳定。术前要考虑犬只的生理状态和血压及血糖含量,术中注意监护,术后注意保温及给与抗生素治疗并防止犬只撕咬伤口。[结论]子宫切除术可作为犬子宫蓄脓的治疗方法之一。     

Bee Pollen Supplementation to Aged Horses Influences Several Blood Parameters

In humans and animals, aging leads to a decrease in immune function and an increased susceptibility to infection. Decreased immunity and an increase in the incidence of infectious diseases are particularly notable during the autumn. Bee pollen supplementation improves immunity and antioxidant enzyme activity, as well as general performance. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of bee pollen supplementation during the autumn on blood parameters in aged horses. The study was performed on 16 warmblood horses aged 15–26 years. Half of this group received 60 g of bee pollen (soaked in water) daily for 30 days during the autumn season. Blood samples were taken from all horses before and after the supplementation period. Numerous hematological and plasma biochemical parameters including indicators of oxidative stress were determined. The data collected after the supplementation were compared with data collected before the experiment using one-way analysis of variance and paired Student’s t-test. In the control group, there was a decline in the total number of red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hematocrit and an increase in some lipid parameters, urea, total plasma proteins, and sulfhydryl groups. Supplementation with bee pollen prevented the variation of these parameters, except for low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. We believe that bee pollen supplementation for aged horses during autumn has beneficial effects because it inhibited some of the adverse changes observed in the control horses during this season.     

Management Options for the Aged Breeding Stallion with Declining Testicular Function

In our experience, the testicular dysfunction that develops in aged stallions is typically progressive, contributing to a gradual deterioration in sperm output and quality over 2-4 years. As the ability to produce sufficient numbers of normal sperm in ejaculates declines, so do pregnancy rates until the stallion eventually becomes so subfertile that it is no longer commercially feasible to continue breeding. However, more intensive breeding management can sometimes result in pregnancy rates (per cycle and per season) that are sufficient to justify breeding of the aged stallion to a diminishing number of mares during the period of declining fertility.

一种处理垃圾渗滤液的新型组合工艺

针对垃圾渗滤液水质特点,研发了一套新型组合工艺,经过罗定市垃圾填埋场晚期渗滤液的中试处理试验,并对工艺进行改良和优化,结果表明：垃圾渗滤液能够得到很好的处理,各项出水指标基本达到规定的标准,在实际工程中发挥良好的作用。
