Previous studies showed that in materials derived from maize (Zea mays L.) single cross A632 × Mu195 there is association between agronomic traits and cob color (affected by P1 gene). Objectives of this study were to evaluate the responses to divergent selection for cob color in F2-Syn 0 (obtained by selfing A632 × Mu195), estimate the genetic parameters of the involved putative quantitative trait loci
(QTL), and evaluate the responses to divergent selection for cob color in A632 and Mu195 backgrounds. The populations selected
in F2-Syn 0 for red (R0) or white cob (W0) were tested in four trials. Differences between R0 and W0 were found for grain yield
(85.0 vs. 75.0 g/plant) and other traits; most of these differences were related to leaf number/plant. Then, population F2-Syn 1, derived after one random mating generation, was divergently selected for cob color, thus producing R1 and W1. Populations
R0, W0, R1, and W1 were tested in two trials, allowing the estimate of genetic effects and recombination frequencies for putative
QTL of several traits. Finally, a divergent selection for cob color was conducted in segregating materials of A632 and Mu195
backgrounds. The two pairs of selected populations were compared in two trials; the responses were similar to those detected
by comparing R0 and W0. We conclude that divergent selection for cob color in F2-Syn 0 is effective for several traits, that such responses are due to putative QTL linked to P1, and that selection is also effective in different genetic backgrounds. 相似文献

By four-point bending test and fatigue test,the authors studied the flexural toughness and fatigue property of semi-rigid base course of cement-stabilized macadam with and without polypropylene(PP) fiber.Some significant data about these two kinds of material have been obtained,such as the load-deflection curves,toughness index according to the standard methods of JCI and ASTM C1018-97,the fatigue lifetime under different stress levels and the fatigue lifetime regression equation.The results show that the reinforcing effect of the PP fiber is remarkable;the bending strength,ultimate deformability,JCI toughness index,ASTM C1018-97 toughness index and fatigue life of cement-stabilized macadam with PP fiber are increased by about 10%,150%,67.7%,36.1%~79.8%,and 126%~352%,respectively,when the volume fraction of PP fiber is only 0.077%.At the same time,the authors revealed the toughness improving mechanism and the anti-fatigue mechanism of the fiber in such material based on the fracture mechanics theory. 相似文献

为丰富桂东地区速生树种多样性以及为生态敏感地区桉树改造提供新的树种,2017年5月在桂东地区试种黑木相思17号无性系20hm^2,分别在造林后第8个月和14个月调查试验林不同海拔、坡向、坡位的林分生长情况,试验结果表明:黑木相思17号无性系在桂东地区造林成活率85%以上,造林后第8个月成活率、地径和树高分别为92%,3.1cm和2.3m,造林第14个月地径、胸径和树高分别为7.4cm,5.8cm和5.0m;黑木相思造林后8-14个月,上坡生长表现优于下坡,海拔200m生长表现优于海拔320m。说明黑木相思17号无性系适合在桂东地区生长,避开谷底和山脚等光照不足地块、及时抚育是黑木相思在桂东地区造林成功的关键。 相似文献

为了筛选我国北方地区彩叶树种银杏生长中较好的施肥配方,开展了氮磷钾3因素3水平的施肥正交试验,结果表明:氮磷钾不同配比处理对银杏树高、地径、叶片生长等生长因子有着明显的促进作用,其中纯N 4.6 g·株-1、纯P 6.4 g·株-1、纯K 1.1 g·株-1的处理组合对苗高以及单株叶质量增加效果最好,纯N 9.2 g·株-1、纯P 3.2 g·株-1、纯K 1.1 g·株-1的处理组合对地径以及单叶质量的增加效果最明显。 相似文献

The study was carried out in a 9-year-old hinoki cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa (Sieb. et Zucc.) Endl.), stand over a span of three years from July 1992 to June 1995, primarily to predict litter production
from exteral tree dimensions by combining open-top clothtrap and clipping methods. Litter production was virtually concentrated
in October and November. Stem cross-sectional area at the crown base was proved to be the reliable predictor of litter production,
and that single regression model was evolved irrespective of year. The regression model had proportional constants of 2.696
× 10−2 and 3.540 × 10−2 kg cm−2 year−1 for leaf litter and total litter production, respectively. Utilizing the model, leaf litter production of the stand was assessed
to be 5.04, 5.12, and 4.99, and total litter production to be 6.48, 6.58, and 6.40 Mg ha−1 year−1 for the first, second and third year, respectively. Biomass increment was 6.67, 7.80, and 7.70, tree mortality was 0.15,
0.13, and 0.41, and insect grazing was 0.09, 0.05, and 0.002 Mg ha−1 year−1 for the first, second and third year, respectively. Above-groud net production was therefore 13.39, 14.55, and 14.51, Mg
ha−1 year−1, and biomass accumulation ratio (biomass/net production) was 1.86, 2.21, and 2.76 year for the first, second and third year,
respectively. Considering data from earlier studies and the results of this study, biomass accumulation ratio,BAR (year), of hinoki stands was best related to above-ground biomass,y (Mg ha−1), using the power function:BAR=0.112y
