Theory of RBV-Competitive Advantage of the Stock Company

China's stock market enters a stage where the competition's rules as well as the competition's environment are changing continuously,Under such circumstances,to gain the competition advantages is of vital importarce to the existence and development of China's stock companies themselves. As a result, the stock companies should have a thorough analysis of the RBV theory at present, and evaluate its applicability to China's stock companies, Then they should come up with some reformational measures,aiming at improving the competition advantages of domestic stock companies. There fore they are able to make measonable use of the company's resources and accomplish the organic unity combination of the company's valued resources and its strategic administration. These are the key measures used by stock companies to gain the competition cedvantges.     

Pollination, Fertilization and Seed Development in Inbred Lines and F1 Hybrids of Spring Faba Beans (Vicia faba L.)

When the flowers are not disturbed, the yield of F₁ hybrids of faba beans normally exceeds that in their inbred parents. The basis of this “heterotic autofertility” was investigated by examining flowers for pollination and fertilization throughout the flowering season and assessing the distribution of seeds and pods on mature plants. Six inbred lines and seven of their F₁ hybrids were grown without protection from bee visitation, and their autofertility was estimated’ by comparing their fertilization with that of cytoplasmic male-sterile line. The first direct evidence was obtained that heterotic autofertility acts by increasing; the proportion of flowers which were pollinated and fertilized. The autofertility was not perfect, especially in a closed-flower hybrid, as many ovules remained unfertilized. Several factors contributed to the number of seeds per pod in F₁ hybrids, being superior to parental means: (1) more ovules per flower, (2) greater fertilization of the basal ovules, (3) reduced abortion of the apical ovules and (4) greater overall maturation ovules.

Prolonged elevated atmospheric CO2 does not affect decomposition of plant material

Prolonged elevated atmospheric CO₂ might alter decomposition. In a 90-day incubation study, we determined the long-term (9 years) impact of elevated CO₂ on N mineralization of Lolium perenne and Trifolium repens plant material grown at ambient and elevated CO₂ and low- and high-¹⁵N fertilizer additions. No significant differences were observed in View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0038071705001859-si4.gif"> recovery rates between any of the treatments, except an N addition effect was observed for L. perenne (0.4 versus 0.5% View the MathML source" title="View the MathML source" src="http://ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0038071705001859-si5.gif"> day⁻¹ in high versus low N). The results suggest that elevated CO₂ did not change plant N mineralization in any of the soils, because of a surplus of available N in the fertilized and leguminous systems, and because of insignificant plant responses to elevated CO₂ in the low soil N availability systems.
