对三倍体毛白杨的木材构造特征、纤维形态、基本密度进行了观察记载和测定,发现其生长轮宽度达2.5~3.0cm,纤维平均长度大于同年轮的其它杨木,基本密度小于毛白杨成熟材,木纤维的含量较高,同时纤维的壁腔比较小,所以三倍体毛白杨是一种较好的造纸和纤维工业原料。  相似文献

Conversion of agricultural fields to bioenergy crops can affect greenhouse gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). Soil GHG emissions were measured seasonally in poplar bioenergy and agricultural fields at three Northwestern US locations. A forest stand was also used at one location for comparison. A portable gas analyzer was used to measure CO2 efflux and CH4 and N2O fluxes were first measured with chambers and later with gradients. Agricultural soil had 17% larger CO2 efflux rates than poplar soil. Chamber fluxes showed no differences in CH4 uptake but did show higher N2O fluxes in poplar than agricultural soil. Gradient CH4 uptake rates were highest in agricultural soil in the summer but showed no N2O flux differences. Forest soils had smaller quarterly CO2 efflux rates than agricultural soils and greater CH4 uptake rates than poplar soils. The largest GHG contributor to soil GHG flux was CO2, with those being ~1000 times larger than CH4 flux rates and ~500 times larger than N2O flux rates based on CO2 equivalences. Converting conventional agricultural cropland to poplar bioenergy production does not have adverse effects on soil greenhouse gas flux and these results could be useful for modeling or life cycle analysis of land use conversion.  相似文献

The Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) unit of the U.S. Forest Service has collected, compiled, and made available plot data from three measurement periods (identified as 1977, 1990, and 2003, respectively) within Minnesota. Yet little if any research has compared the relative utility of these datasets for developing empirical yield models. This paper compares these and other subdatasets in the context of fitting a basal area (B) yield model to plot data from the aspen (Populus tremuloides Michx.) forest type. In addition, several models and fitting methods are compared for their applicability and stability over time. Results suggest that the three parent datasets, along with their subdatasets, provide very similar three parameter B yield model prediction capability, but as model complexity increases, variability in coefficient estimates increases between datasets. The absence of data for older aspen stands and the inherent noise within B data prevented the exact determination of an overall best model. However, the model B = b1Sb2(1 − exp( − b3A)) with site index (S) and stand age (A) as predictors was found consistently among the highest in precision and stability. Additionally, nonlinear least squares and nonlinear mixed-effects fitting procedures produced similar model fits, but the latter is preferred for its potential to improve model projections. The results indicate little practical difference between datasets from different time periods and different sizes when used for fitting the models. Additionally, these results will likely extend to other states or regions with similar remeasurement data on aspen and other forest types, thus facilitating the development of other ecological models focused on forest management.  相似文献

The putative transgenic hybrid triploid poplars [(P. tomentosa P. bolleana) P. tomentosa] with CpTI gene have been outplanted in test field for 2 years. Although the authors previous studies have proved that they are highly resistant to 3 species of poplar-threatening insect pests and contain high content of CpTI protein in foliage, incorporation status of foreign CpTI gene in poplar genome is uncertain. In this present study, the incorporation of foreign CpTI gene in genome of 5 transgenic poplars was confirmed by PCR and Southern blotting analysis. DNA amplification showed that there were clear DNA bands of about 450bp specific to CpTI gene in transgenic lanes, while no corresponding band in non-transgenic lane was observed. Correspondingly, clear DNA hybridization signals and no signal were exhibited on film for DNA Southern blotting analysis in transgenic lanes and non-transgenic lane, respectively, which further confirmed the stable integration of foreign CpTI gene in genome of 2-year-old transgenic poplar.  相似文献

A 3 125 bp cellulose synthase gene, PtoCesA1, which has a 98% identity to PtrCesA1 from Populus tremuloides, was cloned from cDNA prepared from secondary xylem of P tomentosa. Four anti-expression vectors with different fragments of PtoCesAl, named as pBIPF, pBICC1, pBIPR and pBIBR, were constructed. Some traits of transformed tobacco of pBICC1, pBIPR and pBIBR differed from wild types, such as small leaves, "dwarf" phenotype and thinner xylem and fiber cell walls than wild plants consistent with a loss of cellulose. It indicated that the growth of transgenic tobacco was restrained by the expression of anti-PtoCesA1. Transgenic tobacco was obtained and the contents of cellulose and lignin were analyzed as well as the width and length of fiber cells, and xylem thickness for both transgenic and control plants. Transformed tobacco showed a different phenotype from control plants and it implied that PtoCesA1 was essential for the cellulose biosynthesis in poplar stems.  相似文献

通过在数显控温仪调控地温度条件下,ABT1号和ABT2号生根粉不同浓度处理对胡杨硬枝扦插的生根效果影响是显著的,尤其可以显著提高生根率,且在400 mg/kg的浓度处理2 h的生根率最高。2种生根粉处理对成活率影响显著,且ABT1号处理的平均成活率最高,达到42.1%。  相似文献

用室内外接种及自然感病的方法,对银中杨抗烂皮病进行测定,采用系统聚类方法进行分析,结果证明银中杨为感病最轻品种,聚在第一类,并对鉴定林中 16个品系的病情指数作方差分析,结果表明各品系间感病指数有极度显著差异。同时对银中杨及对照品种的虫害按五级分类标准进行调查并计算受害指数,结果表明银中杨是抗杨干象、白杨透翅蛾等虫害的优良树种。  相似文献

在内蒙古阿拉善盟额济纳旗一道桥、二道桥、三道桥、和四道桥的胡杨自然保护区内设置9个10m×10m样地,应用相邻格子法进行每木调查,并对胡杨(Populus euphratica)种群结构和分布格局进行了分析。结果表明:胡杨的种群结构为衰退型,幼苗、幼树和中龄树数量较小。额济纳胡杨种群整体分布格局为聚集分布,随着径级的增大其分布格局呈现规律性变化,幼小植群呈强聚集分布,大树倾向于随机分布,中龄树和成年树由聚集分布向随机分布过度。  相似文献
