THE DECOUPLJNG CALCULATION OF MULTI-AREA POWER SYSTEM LOAD FREQUENCY CONTROL

The calculating burden of the decoupling judgement of multi-area power system load frequeney centrel is very large by tranditional methods. This paper changcs the decoupling judgement problem into a minimum cost network flow problem. The solution algorithm is out-of-kilter . algorithm which is characterized by simple manipaultion, fast and reliable convergence. In the paper, we discuss and calculate the decoupling problem of two arca power system load frequency control. The results show that the proposed approach is feasible and effective.     

The Development of Intelligent Fault Diagnosis System Based KBE Graph

Aimed at solving the insufficiency problem in the current intelligent fault diagnosis system, such as lack of development tools, inference oversimplification, and developed a kind of diagnosis system based on network and KBE graph. The system is simple and easy to establish, modify, expand and maintain and does not need further coding. In addition, it can significantly save time and reduce the chance of failure. The integration of expert rules, fuzzy logic and nerve network enables the system to adapt to those complicated systems which involve in multi-variable, multi-parameter, multi-object and multi-process. As an example, an on-line detection system for simulate-on rotor test bench has been established and typical faults were successfully diagnosed through it, which proved the validity and reliability of the system. Furthermore, the system has been declared national invention patent.     

A SFG METHOD FOR RELIABILITY EVALUATION OF HVDC SYSTEMS

Steady-state probability, frequency and duration are the three main indices in reliability evaluation of the HVDC systems. Generally, they are solved by numerical methods. Their topolgical formulaes are derived by using the basic theory of ccates graph and considering conditions for some particularity of state-space in this paper. A set of generalised formulaes can be applied to obtain these indices expression about reliability parameters of components. Finally,an example is given to illustrate and verify this method.     

Model of Product Design Process in the Network Organization and Its Optimization

Network Organization is an organization built by some rules among organizations for some purposes or some tasks. For example, many organizations work together to develop a new product. The technology of directed graph and fuzzy design structure matrix are used in the development of a new product in the network organization. Base on this, the methods of task de-coupling, matrix exchange and partitions are used to optimize the design activity. It can improve the rate and efficiency of the product's development, reduce the problem of design iteration, short the development periods, make the members of the network organization work concurrently without damaging the quality of the products.     

Graph clustering of Piper nigrum L. (black pepper)

A profound degree of morphological variation exists among the cultivars of Piper nigrum cultivated in Kerala State, South India. Fifty one cultivars of this crop species from the State were subjected to graph clustering by the ‘Graph Theory’ model, based on 27 morphological characters, both qualitative and quantitative, aimed at clustering them into groups with an appreciable degree of intracluster discreteness and intercluster distance. The result was presented in a ‘Skyline Plot’. Ten C-clusters were formed at the c-value of 0.46 corresponding to a fairly high moat value. The number of members from different clusters ranged from 3–8. Distribution of various characters among the clusters formed, shows a considerable degree of intracluster similarity (connectedness) and intercluster distance (isolation). The present graph clustering is significant as it provides reliable clues for selecting parental cultivars with fair degree of genetic difference, from clusters exhibiting appreciable isolation, for future intervarietal hybridization programmes in the crop.
