The correct identification of pine species is necessary for proper application of wood in forest?based industries, since the quality of each species’ wood depends on factors intrinsic to the material. The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential use of near?infrared and visible spectroscopy in the discrimination of pine species planted in southern Brazil. Needles of Pinus clausa, P. glabra, P. kesiya, P. oocarpa, P. palustris, P. pseudostrobus, P. rigida, P. roxburghii and P. serotina were collected from experimental plantations located in the region of Rio Negro, Paraná, Brazil. The needles were dried and milled for analysis. The evaluation was performed with a spectral range of 400–750?nm (visible) and 1 000–2 500?nm (near?infrared). Analysis using the visible spectra resulted in two principal components explaining 95% of the variation between the needle samples. In the near?infrared analysis, it was possible to discriminate between all nine pine species studied using only two principal components, where the first explained 99% of the variation between species. Spectroscopy based on needles can be used for pine species discrimination, using the original data without mathematical treatment, in southern Brazil. 相似文献

Chlorogenic acid is the major diphenol of many fruits, where it is oxidized enzymatically by polyphenol oxidase (PPO) or peroxidase (POD) to its o-quinone. In spectrophotometric studies of chlorogenic acid oxidation with a periodate ratio of [CGA]0/[IO4-]0 < 1 and [CGA]0/[IO4-]0 > 1, the o-quinone was characterized as follows: lambda(max) at 400 nm and epsilon = 2000 and 2200 M-1 cm-1 at pH 4.5 and 7.0, respectively. In studies of o-quinone generated by the oxidation of chlorogenic acid using a periodate at ratio of [CGA]0/[IO4-]0 > 1, a reaction with the remaining substrate was detected, showing rate constants of k = 2.73 +/- 0.17 M-1 s-1 and k' = 0.05 +/- 0.01 M-1 s-1 at the above pH values. A chronometric spectrophotometric method is proposed to kinetically characterize the action of the PPO or POD on the basis of measuring the time it takes for a given amount of ascorbic acid to be consumed in the reaction with the o-quinone. The study of the antioxidant capacity of foodstuffs requires the use of diverse determination methods to gain a wider picture of their multiple effects. The aim of this work was to evaluate the "antioxidant profile" of red wines applying TAC (total antioxidant capacity) methods: 2,2'-azinobis(3-ethyl-benzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, N,N-dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine dihydrochloride, oxygen radical absorbance capacity, ferric reducing/antioxidant power, hydroxyl and superoxide radical scavenger activities, and biomarkers of oxidative stress methods such as lipid peroxidation inhibition and inhibition of damage to DNA. Furthermore, levels of total polyphenols (TPP) of wines were also evaluated. Three bottles of 107 different Spanish red wines (total samples 321), made from different grape varieties, aging processes, and vintages, were analyzed. The validation of TAC methods, the first step in this work, provided a good linearity, proportionality, and low detection limits. Among these methods, the ABTS was the most satisfactory for its rapidity, cost, and precision. All wines showed an important capacity to scavenge hydroxyl radicals and were capable of blocking superoxide radicals but with 10 times lower intensity. Wines also showed important protective action on biomarkers of oxidative stress; they were much more active to inhibit lipid peroxidation than DNA oxidation. 为科学评价和充分利用花生新品种,本研究运用隶属函数法对12个花生品种品质的5项主要指标进行了综合分析。结果表明,隶属函数值不低于对照‘花育33号’的品种有3个,分别是‘中花224’、‘云花1号’、‘花育9122’,这3个品种综合品质较优,适宜在北方地区种植推广。其中,‘中花224’油酸含量大于75%且O/L>10,可作为优质高油酸花生种质资源利用;‘云花1号’粗蛋白含量相对较高,具有较好的营养品质,可作为优质鲜食花生品种;‘花育9122’含油量较高,可作为油用加工型花生品种。 相似文献

The effects of six new synthetic carbamates on fully engorged females of four Rhipicephalus microplus strains (one reference strain susceptible to conventional ixodicides, two strains multiresistant to ixodicides and one tick field isolate) were compared. In addition, the effect of two other new synthetic carbamates was tested on larvae from the same strains. The first six tested carbamates reduced egg laying and inhibited egg hatching in the four studied strains (P < 0.05). Compared with untreated females, the eggs produced by the treated engorged female ticks of all strains had a dark, dry, opaque appearance and were less adherent. The remaining two tested carbamates induced larval mortality in all of the evaluated strains. The three studied R. microplus strains displayed 50% resistance ratios (RR50) of less than 2 when compared to the susceptible reference strain. These results demonstrate that both carbamates with a larvicidal effect and carbamates that inhibit egg laying and embryo development are efficacious against tick strains that are resistant to commercial ixodicides, no cross resistance was observed. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to establish the sources of variation in maritime pine wood properties related to appearance and strength, because of the importance of this wood in the sawing industry in Galicia (NW Spain). Ten trees from each of ten plots of the species (i.e., 100 trees) growing in Galicia were felled and sawn to produce the structural planks required for studying the presence of external strength-reducing characteristics. The planks were sampled from the basal logs to 16 m height in the stems, yielding cross sections of target dimensions 100 × 40 mm to 200 × 200 mm. We propose a model in which individual tree height and dominant height are used to predict the knottiness of planks from trees in mature stands. The abundance of externally visible knots on faces and edges of sawn planks is therefore more dependent on the stand location than on the prior silvicultural treatment of the stand. 相似文献

实验分离提取杨凌媚丽葡萄新酒中的香气糖苷,添加优选野生胶红酵母的糖苷酶液,进行催化水解实验,萃取水解生成的品种香气成分,进行GC-MS检测分析。以杏仁β-糖苷酶、黑曲霉果胶酶、La Fort商业果胶酶作催化比较实验。结果表明,杏仁β-糖苷酶标准品催化水解生成的游离香气成分种类和含量最多,其次是野生胶红酵母酶液和黑曲霉果胶酶。酶促水解生成的游离成分中,萜烯类和去甲类异戊二烯化合物能够赋予葡萄酒果香和花香,微量的酚酸酯可增加香气的复杂性,而含量很高的脂肪族类化合物和挥发性酚类会带给葡萄酒不良气味。因此,具有中等催化水解香气糖苷能力的野生胶红酵母的糖苷酶具有良好的增香酿造应用潜力。 相似文献

弓形虫可感染多种动物引起严重的弓形虫病,为了对不同宿主感染的弓形虫株基因型差异及不同基因型弓形虫虫株的致病力差异进行进一步研究,弓形虫基因型的分析多采用限制性片段长度多态性PCR(PCR-RFLP)、随机扩增多态性DNA、多位点PCR-RFLP分析、DNA序列分析和微卫星DNA序列分析等技术,扩增位点多选择SAG1、SAG2、SAG3、BTUB和GRA6等遗传标记。传统的弓形虫基因型主要有3个,随着基因型研究的不断深入,越来越多的基因型被发现。本文就弓形虫基因分型研究进展进行讨论分析。 相似文献
