Loss of caveolae, vascular dysfunction, and pulmonary defects in caveolin-1 gene-disrupted mice

Caveolae are plasma membrane invaginations that may play an important role in numerous cellular processes including transport, signaling, and tumor suppression. By targeted disruption of caveolin-1, the main protein component of caveolae, we generated mice that lacked caveolae. The absence of this organelle impaired nitric oxide and calcium signaling in the cardiovascular system, causing aberrations in endothelium-dependent relaxation, contractility, and maintenance of myogenic tone. In addition, the lungs of knockout animals displayed thickening of alveolar septa caused by uncontrolled endothelial cell proliferation and fibrosis, resulting in severe physical limitations in caveolin-1-disrupted mice. Thus, caveolin-1 and caveolae play a fundamental role in organizing multiple signaling pathways in the cell.

四种剂型阿维菌素 (粉剂、片剂、注射剂、浇注剂 )以 0 .2 mg/kg剂量治疗肉用犬疥螨病 ,间隔 7天重复用药 1次 ,治愈率均为 1 0 0 %,且安全无副作用。     

M_(99-1)引诱剂诱捕松墨天牛等松甲虫的研究

报道了松墨天牛成虫活动期间 ,在马尾松 -栎类次生混交林、马尾松 -湿地松人工林和黄山松天然林 3种不同林分中 ,应用 M99-1引诱剂诱捕钻蛀性松甲虫种类、主要钻蛀性松甲虫成虫种群数量及其比率和不同诱捕期松墨天牛雌成虫孕卵量及其比率的情况。研究结果显示 ,M99-1引诱剂诱获鞘翅目害虫达 2 6种 ,其中钻蛀性松甲虫达 14种 ,占诱获种类的 5 3.8%。马尾松角胫象、松墨天牛种群数量比率最高 ,分别达 5 7.3%～ 69.8%和 2 7.2 %～ 2 9.3%。 3种不同松林林分中 ,短角幽天牛、褐幽天牛、薄翅锯天牛等其它主要钻蛀性害虫的数量比率也较高。不同诱捕期松墨天牛雌成虫平均孕卵量及其比率 ,以活动前期 (6月下旬前 )为最高 ,分别达 16.9粒和 4 1.9%。 M99-1引诱剂诱捕是监测松林钻蛀性松甲虫种群动态和降低其虫口密度的重要方法     

Single-injection inulin clearance for routine measurement of glomerular filtration rate in cats

Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) was determined in 53 cats using an inulin single-injection method. Thirty healthy young adult cats were used to establish normal values. The procedure was also used in 23 cats that were either older than 10 years or had borderline serum creatinine levels. The total clearance was calculated from the decay of the serum inulin concentration after injection of 3000 mg/m(2)body surface area using a two-compartment model. Concomitant inulin and iohexol clearance in nine cats showed excellent correlation between the two methods. Calculated normal values for GFR in 30 healthy cats were 35.9-58.5 (median 46.0) ml/min/m(2)or 2.07-3.69 (median 2.72) ml/min/kg. A few cats with normal creatinine or blood urea nitrogen levels were detected as having reduced GFR and therefore being in a state of early renal dysfunction. The study indicates that single-injection inulin clearance is a valuable tool for routine GFR measurement in cats. An "inulin excretion test" using only one blood sample 3h after the administration of 3000 mg/m(2)body surface area could prove an attractive alternative for the assessment of renal function in daily practice.     

樟树种源/家系苗期性状变异分析

为了解樟树遗传变异的来源和规律,进行了樟树苗期种源／家系两水平试验研究。结果表明,樟树的遗传变异存在于种源和家系两个层次。樟树苗高、枝下高、冻害性状在种源层次的变异远大于家系层次的变异,地径则相反。方差分析表明,樟树苗期种源间在苗高、地径、枝下高、冻害性状上有极显著差异;家系之间在苗高、地径、冻害性状上有极显著差异,在枝下高性状上无显著差异,种源内大多数家系间各性状的差异达不到显著水平。苗高、枝下高、冻害各性状值,高于富阳种源（Ｃｋ）的家系分别有１２５、９５、８８、１０８个,低于富阳种源（Ｃｋ）的分别有５６、８６、９３、７３个。苗高与种源纬度显著负相关,与年均温、１月均温、绝对低温显著相关;冻害与纬度极显著负相关,与年均温、１月均温、绝对低温显著相关;枝下高与纬度显著相关,与年均温、１月均温、绝对低温显著负相关;苗高与冻害极显著相关,与地径显著相关。
