畜牧工程技术在民和企业中的运用

该文结合民和企业实例,论述了“工程防疫”长效防疫体系的建立,对企业发展和产品品质提升所产生的影响。认为将畜牧工程技术导入畜牧生产的全过程,有利于保障最大限度地发挥畜禽生产潜力,推进动物养殖业的技、工、贸一体化的产业化进程,有利于中国养殖业的健康可持续发展。     

Severe clinical disease induced in cattle persistently infected with noncytopathic bovine viral diarrhea virus by superinfection with cytopathic bovine viral diarrhea virus

Eight healthy cattle that were persistently infected with noncytopathic bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) were inoculated with cell culture fluids that contained noncytopathic or cytopathic BVDV. A severe disease occurred after inoculation with cytopathic BVDV. The clinical signs, lesions, and immune response were consistent with those of clinical BVDV infections.     

Lesions in clinically healthy cattle persistently infected with the virus of bovine viral diarrhea--glomerulonephritis and encephalitis

Four clinically healthy cattle persistently infected with the virus of bovine viral diarrhea were examined for viral antigen and lesions. Antigen was seen by direct immunofluorescence in cytoplasm of the neurons of the brain and cervical part of the spinal cord, cells and basement membrane of renal glomeruli, reticular cells of lymph nodes and spleen, epithelial cells of small intestinal crypts and renal and testicular tubules, and endothelial cells of blood vessels. Infected neurons were pyknotic and surrounded by astrocytes and macrophages. A few blood vessels in the brains were cuffed with mononuclear cells. Basement membranes of renal glomeruli were irregularly thick with eosinophilic material, and mesangial cells in the glomeruli were plentiful. The virus had a direct effect on some tissues, but was restricted in its cytopathogenicity and was not eliminated by defense mechanisms of the host. Renal glomerular lesions were believed to have an immunologic basis.     

Infectivity of bovine adenovirus type 5 recovered from a polyarthritic calf with weak calf syndrome.

Bovine adenovirus type 5, isolated from newborn calves with a polyarthritic disease known as "weak calf syndrome" caused a mild, self-limiting illness in susceptible calves. The induced illness was characterized by marked pyrexia and occasionally by mild diarrhea. It was concluded that the virus may contribute to morbidity and mortality associated with the weak calf syndrome by adding to the stress and debilitation caused by cold wet weather and by bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) virus, which has also been isolated from tissues of calves affected with weak calf syndrome.     

蛇床子素对植物病原菌抑制效果的测定

采用含毒介质法和牛津杯法测定了蛇床子素对8种植物病原真菌和7种病原细菌的抑制效果。结果表明：当浓度在400～800μg／mL时,蛇床子素对8种病原真菌都有不同程度的抑制作用,其中对水稻纹枯病菌和小麦赤霉病菌的抑制作用最佳,抑制率在95％～100％,其EC50分别为37．71μg／mL和47．06μg／mL,但对蕃茄叶霉病菌和玉米小斑病菌抑制作用较差;蛇床子素对7种病原细菌抑制作用最强的是水稻细菌性褐条病和甜豌豆带化病菌,浓度在1000μg／mL时,其抑菌圈直径分别为37mm和36mm,但对兰花褐腐病菌抑制力很低,只有8mm。     

Nutritional myopathy in goats

A nutritional myopathy in unweaned fibre goats aged 2 to 4 mths is described in 3 flocks from the tablelands of New South Wales. Clinically affected animals were illthrifty and in circulatory failure prior to being found dead. At necropsy, there was pronounced ascites, pulmonary congestion and marked mottling of the liver. Chalky white streaks and patches were obvious in the myocardium, particularly in the right ventricular wall. Skeletal muscles varied from grossly normal to generally pale. Histologically, the myocardium exhibited areas of severe acute myonecrosis with mineralisation and adjoining areas of phagocytosis and fibrosis. In 2 of 3 flocks, some skeletal muscles showed a mild subacute myopathy. Marked hepatic congestion extended to periacinar haemorrhage and necrosis in some areas. Dietary imbalances of selenium, vitamin E and polyunsatured fatty acids were probable factors in the pathogenesis of the condition.     

Four species of digeneans, including Allocreadium patagonicum sp. n. (Allocreadiidae), from freshwater fishes of Patagonia, Argentina

Four species of adult digeneans are reported from freshwater fishes of two lakes in Neuquén, Patagonia, Argentina. Allocreadium patagonicum sp. n. (Allocreadiidae) is described from the intestine of Percichthys colhuapiensis MacDonagh and Percichthys trucha (Cuvier et Valenciennes) (Percichthyidae) from Lago Aluminé. Three species redescribed are: Acanthostomoides apophalliformis Szidat, 1956 (Acanthostomidae) from the intestine of P. colhuapiensis and P. trucha from Lago Aluminé and of Salmo trutta (Linnaeus) (Salmonidae) from Lago Huechulafquén; Deropegus patagonicus (Szidat, 1956) comb. n. (= Genarches patagonicus Szidat, 1956) (Derogenidae) from the stomach of P. colhuapiensis, P. trucha, Oncorhynchus mykiss (Walbaum) (Salmonidae) and Salvelinus fontinalis (Mitchill) (Salmonidae) from Lago Aluminé and of S. trutta from Lago Huechulafquén; and Austrocreadium papilliferum Szidat, 1956 from the intestine of P. trucha from Lago Aluminé. The genus Polylekithum Arnold, 1934 is considered a synonym of the genus Allocreadium Looss, 1900. The genus Austrocreadium Szidat, 1956 is removed to the family Homalometridae.     

Differentiation of cytopathic and noncytopathic isolates of bovine viral diarrhea virus by virus neutralization

Soluble antigens of cytopathic and noncytopathic isolates of bovine viral diarrhea virus were resolved by high-performance liquid gel-permeation chromatography into 4 major and 3 minor peaks. The 2 peaks with the larger molecular weights (240,000 and 140,000 daltons) were immunogenic when inoculated into rabbits. Virus neutralizing antibodies were specific for the homologous virus. The soluble antigens were determined to be greater than 100,000 daltons by filtration.
