Twenty-two cases of displaced upper femoral epiphysis in the dog have been reviewed with regard to the incidence, aetiology, radiographic and histological changes. The majority of the cases followed a severe traumatic episode but a significant number were associated with relatively trivial injuries. On histological examination necrosis of the epiphysis was common but the majority showed a rapid revascularization unassociated with collapse and deformity. The prevalence of the Labrador Retriever in the cases presented is noted. 相似文献

Abstract. Four isolates of infectious haematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) were obtained from rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss (Walbaum), and masu salmon, Oncorhynchus masou (Walbaum), fry during epizootics at hatcheries in Korea. The four isolates of IHNV were compared with three from salmonids in the USA (SRCV, OSV and RB-76) by analysis of virion proteins in sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and neutralization tests, with two monoclonal antibodies raised against SRCV (MAb SRCV/A4) and RB-76 (MAb RB/B5). Based on the antigenicity and the size of the structural proteins, one Korean isolate from masu salmon (SCS) is similar to RB-76 and is an electropherotype 1. The other three isolates from rainbow trout (PRT, YRT and MRT) were identical to each other in the mobilities of their virion proteins in SDS-PAGE, and although their nucleocapsid (N) proteins comigrated with that of the RB-76 isolate, they differed from RB-76 in the smaller matrix 2 (M2) protein they contained. In addition, the three Korean isolates (PRT, YRT and MRT) could be divided into two groups by reactivity with MAb RB/B5. While the YRT isolate was neutralized by this MAb, the PRT and MRT isolates were not, suggesting that there are at least two neutralizing antigenic variants of IHNV in Korea. 相似文献

The dry matter and crude protein production of the perennial ryegrass varieties S24, S23, Premo, Houba, Barlenna, Melle and Sceempter Pasture at annual nitrogen application rates of 212, 425, 637 and 1062 kg ha?1 were studied for the years 1972–74 inclusive. The DM and CP response curves for the variety Melle were steeper than those for other varieties tested and levelled off at a higher N application rate. The results suggest that Melle is a variety with a genotype capahle of utilizing N more efficiently at higher rates than the other varieties tested. 相似文献

Contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is useful to evaluate tissue perfusion in the kidney. In veterinarymedicine, sedation or anesthesia may be required in uncooperative or panting patients. The aim of this studywas to evaluate and compare the normal kidney perfusion patterns in conscious and anesthetized dogs usingCEUS. Eight healthy beagles were used in this study. Scanning was performed in conscious dogs using manualrestraint (conscious group), or under general anesthesia using tiletamine-zolazepam and medetomidine (TZMgroup) or medetomidine (M group). The contrast agent (Sonovue®) was administered as an IV bolus.The peak intensity (PI), time to peak enhancement from injection (TTP0) and the time to peakenhancement from the initial rise (TTPup), upslope, downslope and area under the curve (AUC) wereanalyzed. Compared to the cortical values in the conscious group, TTP0 was significantly delayed inthe TZM group, and upslope, TTP0 and TTPup were significantly different in the M group.The AUCs in the TZM and M groups were not different from those in the conscious group. The upslope of renalmedullary perfusion was significantly decreased in the TZM and M groups. TTP0 and TTPupwere also significantly delayed in these groups. The AUC of the medulla was significantly decreased in the Mgroup. Therefore, TZM is useful as an anesthetic protocol when performing CEUS, and the obtained data mayserve as reference values in the evaluation of renal perfusion using CEUS in dogs under anesthesia. 相似文献

The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of four anesthetic protocols on normal canine brain uptake of 2‐deoxy‐2‐[18F]fluoro‐d ‐glucose (FDG) using positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT). Five clinically normal beagle dogs were anesthetized with (1) propofol/isoflurane, (2) medetomidine/pentobarbital, (3) xylazine/ketamine, and (4) medetomidine/tiletamine–zolazepam in a randomized cross‐over design. The standard uptake value (SUV) of FDG was obtained in the frontal, parietal, temporal and occipital lobes, cerebellum, brainstem and whole brain, and compared within and between anesthetic protocols using the Friedman test with significance set at P<0.05. Significant differences in SUVs were observed in various part of the brain associated with each anesthetic protocol. The SUV for the frontal and occipital lobes was significantly higher than in the brainstem in all dogs. Dogs receiving medetomidine/tiletamine–zolazepam also had significantly higher whole brain SUVs than the propofol/isoflurane group. We concluded that each anesthetic protocol exerted a different regional brain glucose uptake pattern. As a result, when comparing brain glucose uptake using PET/CT, one should consider the effects of anesthetic protocols on different regions of the glucose uptake in the dog's brain. 相似文献

为实现小麦赤霉病瘪粒快速识别,本研究使用主成分分析(Principal component analysis,PCA)结合最大类间方差法(Otsu)对小麦高光谱图像进行背景分割,以赤霉病瘪粒识别正确率为评价指标,探究判别分析方法与竞争性自适应权重取样法(Competitive adaptive reweighted sampling,CARS)的最佳组合方式.结果显示,基于全谱段构建的偏最小二乘判别分析(Partial least squares discrimination analysis,PLS-DA)和支持向量机判别分析(Sup-port vector machine discriminant analysis,SVM-DA)模型预测精度相同,外部验证集健康籽粒和赤霉病瘪粒识别正确率分别为95.2%和100.0%;基于CARS筛选的8个特征波长构建的CARS-PLS-DA模型外部验证集健康籽粒和赤霉病瘪粒识别正确率均为100.0%,预测精度高于CARS-SVM-DA模型,可有效实现赤霉病瘪粒的快速识别.研究结果将为谷物仓储和加工过程中赤霉病瘪粒高通量快速识别提供理论依据和技术支撑. 相似文献

AIM:The present study was designed to investigate the effect of adenovirus-mediated 14-3-3σ on Rat1-Akt cell xenografts and to explore whether the effect was mediated through negative regulation of Akt. METHODS:The effect of Ad-14-3-3σ on Rat1-Akt cells xenografts was observed in nude mice ex vivo and in vivo. Western blotting was used to detect 14-3-3σ protein,phospho-Akt (Thr 308), phospho-Akt (Ser 473), and phospho-(Ser/Thr) Akt substrate in tumor tissue after transfection of 14-3-3σ gene. RESULTS:The tumor volume was dramatically decreased and its emergence was delayed, regardless of using Ad-14-3-3σ-treated Rat1-Akt cells (ex vivo) or injected Ad-14-3-3σ in vivo, of which the effect of the continuously injected group was the best. Levels of Akt protein, phosphorylated Akt and phosphorylated Akt substrates in tumors obtained from Ad-14-3-3σ-treated mice were markedly less than those in PBS or Ad-β-gal-treated mice. CONCLUSION:14-3-3σ suppressed Akt overexpession in cells of Rat1-Akt xenografts by negatively regulating Akt. 相似文献

【目的】通过对水稻抗性淀粉性状的遗传研究,为高抗性淀粉水稻资源创新与育种提供理论和实践依据。【方法】以抗性淀粉含量有显著差异的粳稻品系为材料,比较分析高低抗性淀粉粳稻品系类型间的支链淀粉链长分布、稻米RVA谱特性值、膳食纤维和直链淀粉含量等主要品质特性的差异及其相关性。【结果】高低抗性淀粉水稻品系间支链淀粉链长分布差异显著,高抗性淀粉水稻品系的支链淀粉中短链部分即聚合度为5~12所占的相对百分比率显著低于低抗性淀粉类型品系,而长链尤其是聚合度为13以上的长链比率明显高于低抗性淀粉类型品系。膳食纤维和直链淀粉含量,高抗性淀粉品系显著高于低抗性淀粉品系,最高黏度值、最终黏度值、热浆黏度值和崩解值等,高抗性淀粉品系均显著或极显著低于低抗性淀粉类型品系。抗性淀粉含量与支链淀粉短链聚合度(DP≤12)呈极显著负相关,但与支链淀粉的中长链聚合度(12<DP≤36)呈极显著正相关,与直链淀粉含量和膳食纤维含量呈极显著正相关。【结论】水稻中支链淀粉的链长分布、直链淀粉含量和稻米RVA谱特性值与稻米抗性淀粉含量关系密切,在育种实践中可作为育种选择指标之一。 相似文献
