A hepatic nodule was noted in a C57BL/6J mouse with diet-induced obesity at 53 weeks of age. Macroscopically, a protruding yellowish white nodule was observed on the visceral surface of the left lateral lobe. Light microscopy demonstrated clear demarcation from the compressed adjacent parenchyma, with loss of the distinct lobular pattern. The proliferating cells of the lesion varied in shape and showed cellular atypia and prominent nucleoli along with vacuoles of various sizes. Some of the cells contained various-sized eosinophilic inclusion bodies in their cytoplasm, and electron microscopy revealed the presence of lipid droplets in the rough endoplasmic reticulum. Eosinophilic inclusions were observed as electron dense granular material in the rough endoplasmic reticulum, with one or a few low density central cores. A diagnosis of hepatocellular adenoma was made based on these findings. 相似文献

Blood samples were collected from four native breeds (Chahua chicken, Xishuangbanna Game chicken, Wuding chicken, and Yangbi Huang chicken) in the Yunnan province of China, and their protein polymorphisms were analyzed by using electrophoresies. Out of 16 loci examined, polymorphisms were found in the following eight loci: plasma esterase, plasma amylase, plasma alkaline phosphatase, plasma albumin, plasma transferrin, plasma postalbumin, and hemoglobin. The other eight loci, erythrocyte lactate dehydrogenase, erythrocyte 6‐phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, erythrocyte phosphoglucomutase, erythrocyte phosphohexose isomerase, erythrocyte tetrazolium oxidase, erythrocyte malate dehydrogenase, erythrocyte esterase and hemoglobin, were monomorphic. The proportion of the polymorphic loci and the expected average heterozygosity were estimated as 0.438–0.500 and 0.141–0.174, respectively. A dendrogram was drawn according to the genetic distance, which was calculated by the Nei's genetic distance matrix, among four Chinese native breeds. The results indicated that Chahua, Wuding and Yangbi Huang chickens were genetically remote from Xishuangbanna Game chicken. Moreover, the genetic distance was calculated among the Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi and Nepalese native fowl populations, and another dendrogram was constructed. In this study, the effect of doramectin, moxidectin and netobimin was investigated in naturally infected Syphacia muris in rats. The natural infection was determined by the use of cellophane tape method on the perianal region and by the technique of centrifugal flotation of feces. The infected rats were divided into three treated and one control group (N = 10). Doramectin and moxidectin at the dose of 0.2 mg/kg per day and netobimin at the dose of 7.5 mg/kg per day were given in the diet for 4 days. Cellophane tape preparations were performed in all groups on 4th and 7th day after the last treatment. The rats of treated groups were necropsied on 7th day after the last treatment together with that of control group. While doramectin and netobimin were highly effective against S. muris, moxidectin was not found to be effective for eradication of S. muris. 相似文献

A procedure to evaluate the knockdown activity of pyrethroids against house flies in which metabolic factors could be eliminated as far as possible was established. With piperonyl butoxide and NIA 16388 as the inhibitors of oxidative and hydrolytic metabolism, respectively, the “intrinsic” knockdown potencies of 22 substituted benzyl (1R)-trans-chrysanthemates and related compounds were determined 2.5–3 hr after topical application to house flies. From the intrinsic knockdown potency and the rate of progress of the knockdown symptom from the earliest stage of intoxication, a “penetration” rate constant was estimated by first-order kinetics using a two-compartment model. The rate constant was correlated quantitatively with the hydrophobic parameter of the molecule. The lower the hydrophobicity, the higher the rate constant within the range of compounds used in this study. 相似文献
