Altered adenosine triphosphatase activities in pigs with naturally occurring hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

The purpose of this study was to determine whether myocardial adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) activities were reduced in pigs with naturally occurring hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The selection of hearts for the HCM and the normal control groups depended on histological examination. Specific ATPase activity and 5-nucleotidase activity were measured in left ventricular myocardium obtained from HCM (n=7) and normal control (n=7) animals. The histological features of HCM included marked disorientation of muscle cells, thickening of the intramural coronary arterial wall with a narrowed lumen, endocardial fibrosis and myocardial fibrosis. The HCM group showed significant increases in both heart weight (32%) and heart weight to body weight ratio (46%). The total ATPase activity in crude homogenates from the HCM group was significantly decreased by 16%. Azide-sensitive ATPase (mitochondrial ATPase) activity, ouabain-sensitive ATPase (Na⁺,K⁺-ATPase) activity, basal Mg²⁺-ATPase activity and Ca²⁺-ATPase activity were all significantly decreased by 18%, 30%, 20% and 50%, respectively. In contrast, no significant decrease was found in the mean values for 5-nucleotidase activity. These results suggest that myocardial ATPase activities are suppressed in pigs with naturally occurring HCMAbbreviations ATP adenosine triphosphate - gww grams wet weight - HCM hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - Pi inorganic phosphate     

The in vivo sensitivity of ATPases to DDT,DDE, and physical immobilization in American cockroaches

American cockroaches injected with sublethal doses of DDT (0.75 μg/roach) at 5-day intervals showed a 40% reduction in oligomycin-sensitive Mg²⁺ATPase from muscle homogenates, and a 23% reduction of Na⁺-K⁺ATPase from nerve cords. Thus, the maximum effect measured occurred with the same enzyme and tissue as determined from in vitro studies. The metabolite, DDE, used at 15 μg per roach, gave no significant change in activity of the ATPase system following injection. In contrast, high single doses of DDT (7.5 μg/roach) and 100 μg DDE and dicofol per roach caused over 30% increase in oligomycin-sensitive Mg²⁺ATPase of muscle and a 10–15% increase in Na⁺-K⁺ATPase of nerve cords measured 24 and 48 hr later. While a similar response was observed for Mg²⁺ATPase activities in cockroaches that were immobilized, the increase in enzyme activities were much greater than that caused by the pesticides.     

草莓杯装软罐头的研制

试验对杯装草莓罐头的工艺进行了研究。结果表明,烫漂的工艺为75 ℃、4 min(分钟);注液汤汁的配比为白砂糖25 %、柠檬酸0.3 %、氯化钙0.2 %;杀菌工艺为7.5 kGy辐射杀菌。     

‘过山香’香蕉多芽体的诱导及其体细胞胚的发生

 以我国重要香蕉种质‘过山香’ (AAB) 为材料, 研究了香蕉多芽体诱导、多芽体茎尖薄切片即分生组织性的表层结构物( scalp) 愈伤组织诱导和体细胞胚发生的合适条件。结果表明, 该品种单个不定芽茎尖在P4培养基(含BAP 100 μmol·L ^{- 1}和IAA 1 μmol·L ^{- 1} ) 中继代5个周期后可诱导获得类似花椰菜结构的多芽体。从30 μmol· m ^{- 2} ·s^{- 1}光强, 光/暗周期(16 h /8 h) 培养的多芽体所获得的scalp在添加2,4-D 5μmol·L ^{- 1}和Zeatin 1 μmol·L ^{- 1}的愈伤组织诱导培养基中黑暗培养, 45 d后愈伤组织诱导率可达97.6%。诱导20 d后黄色分生小球体类结节状愈伤组织开始发生, 90～120 d后在分生小球体局部可获得白色或浅黄色松散的胚性愈伤组织(诱导率为17.5% ) 。从胚性愈伤组织诱导的体细胞胚在成熟培养基上培养60 d后体胚萌发率和植株转化率分别为14.5%和11.1%。     

苹果采前落果与内源激素的关系

为了探讨苹果采前落果与内源激素之间的关系,在采前8周间定期测定了不同苹果品种的果柄、果台和离层形成部位组织中IAA、ABA含量;在采收前20d内定期测定了离层部位组织中细胞壁分解酶(Cellulase)的活性;在收获期测定了果实乙烯的发生量。结果表明:不同品种果柄、果台和离层部位组织中IAA和ABA含量变化有差异,但它们变化的总趋势相似,都是随着果实成熟IAA含量下降,而ABA含量上升;不同品种的成熟果实中乙烯发生量有很大差异,以落果多的品种显著大于落果少的品种;采前落果重的品种离层部位组织中细胞壁分解酶的活性在果实成熟期急剧增加。由于果实进入成熟阶段后,IAA含量下降,ABA含量升高,ABA/IAA之间的相对平衡被打破,高ABA/IAA以及高乙烯会刺激离层组织中细胞壁分解酶的活性增高,进而促进离层形成,这可能是导致落果发生的原因。     

优质丰产草莓新品种‘石莓3号’

 ‘石莓3号’为高产、大果、优质, 中早熟草莓新品种, 1990年以自育优系‘18322’为母本, ‘全明星’为父本杂交育成。该品种植株生长势强, 丰产性好, 果实大, 风味浓郁, 品质优良, 适宜于我国华北、东北地区栽培。     

桃新品种‘乾兴银凤’

 ‘乾兴银凤’桃是从日本引进品种中选出的优良品种, 经品种比较试验和多点区域试验, 表现丰产, 抗逆, 不裂果等特性。     

软籽石榴新品种‘红玉石籽’

 ‘红玉石籽’是从‘玉石籽’营养系变异中选育出的石榴新品种。果皮全面着色, 平均单果质量、百粒质量、可溶性固形物含量和出汁率分别比对照品种‘玉石籽’提高33.4%、16.8%、2.7%和3.0%。软籽, 核硬度3.31 kg/ cm²。植株抗褐斑病、干腐病, 丰产, 皖中地区9月中下旬果实成熟。     

优质晚熟桃新品种‘美帅’

 ‘美帅’是‘大久保’和‘90-1’ (‘八月脆’ ב京玉’) 杂交育成的优质晚熟桃新品种。果实圆形, 平均单果质量275 g, 果面60% ～80%着鲜红色, 外观美丽。可溶性固形物含量12.6%。风味甜, 鲜食品质佳。果实8月中旬成熟, 丰产性强。
