温室条件下,用NaCl和Na2SO4处理石头扁桃、桃扁桃和毛桃,处理浓度为0,75,150,300和350 mmol/L,处理10,20 d分别取叶、根和茎,测定各器官中离子吸收与分布变化规律。研究结果表明,盐胁迫下,3种砧木根、茎、叶中Na ,Cl-,SO42-含量及Na /K 比均随盐浓度的增加和处理时间的延长而增加,K 含量变化规律不稳定,但桃扁桃根、茎和叶片中K 略高于其他两个品种;石头扁桃根、茎、叶片中Na /K 比值高于其它两个品种,桃扁桃中Na /K 比值最低。桃扁桃根部Na ,Cl-和SO42-含量高于石头扁桃和毛桃,而叶片和茎中Na ,Cl-和SO42-含量却低于石头扁桃和毛桃。桃扁桃根部能够积累较多的Na ,阻止和减少了Na 向地上部的运输,从而减轻了Na2SO4对它的伤害,进而表明了桃扁桃耐盐能力较强。  相似文献

Nonfocused extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) treatment protocol is commonly used in veterinary practice. This study investigated the effects of four nonfocused ESWT treatments, given 2 weeks apart, on bone radiopharmaceutical uptake and radiographic and thermographic appearance in the metacarpal and metatarsal regions in six adult untrained horses. There were no measurable treatment effects determined by thermography (daily), scintigraphy (at 2-week intervals), and radiography (before study initiation and at study completion) between treated and control limbs. It was concluded that no gross evidence of bone remodeling is detectable by conventional clinical assessment when nonfocused ESWT is applied to healthy equine metacarpal or metatarsal bone.  相似文献

Angiostrongylus vasorum is endemic in foxes an other carnivores in the South and south East of France, Denmark and Great Britain. The reddish nematode is present in the Arteria pulmonalis and the right side of the heart and causes respiratory and cardiovascular symptoms. From 1999 to 2004, A. vasorum was diagnosed in 5 dogs from northern Switzerland, in 1 dog from southern Germany and in 3 dogs from south Ticino. Clinical signs in the affected dogs varied and ranged from cough, tachypnoea and dyspnoea to neurological symptoms in 2 of the dogs. Four dogs died and in 3 of the 4 dogs adults and larvae were found after digestion of formalin-fixed tissue. Diagnosis in the other 5 dogs was achieved by detecting the larvae coproscopically. Based on anamnestic data, these 9 dogs are probably autochthonous cases.  相似文献

A study was conducted to assess the environmental safety of the endectocide eprinomectin to the earthworm Lumbricus terrestris under conditions mimicking typical product use on pasture. The LC50 value of eprinomectin in artificial soil after 28 days of exposure is higher than the levels expected in feces from dosed cattle or in soil fertilized with manure from dosed cattle, which indicates a wide margin of safety for this compound to earthworms. However, the no-observed-effect concentration has not been established. Therefore, the current study was conducted to determine whether there would be any effects on earthworms from feces from cattle treated with the commercial formulation of eprinomectin. Feces were collected rectally from grazing cattle on Day 0 before treatment and on Days 2, 4, 7 and 14 after treatment with EPRINEX (eprinomectin) Pour-On for Beef and Dairy Cattle (Merial Limited) at 0.5 mg eprinomectin per kg bodyweight. Assays of eprinomectin B1a (the major component of eprinomectin) were 0, 0.427, 0.152, 0.0512 and 0.00185 mg kg-1 wet weight of feces (equivalent to 0, 3.34, 1.19, 0.40 and 0.010 mg kg-1 on a dry weight basis, respectively). No significant differences (p>0.05) were observed at any day post-treatment in the survival or behavioral effects of any worms fed post-dose feces relative to the worms fed control feces. All post-dose comparisons of weight changes of living earthworms to the control group were not significantly different (p>0.05), indicating that treatment of cattle with EPRINEX (eprinomectin) Pour-On for Beef and Dairy Cattle did not affect feeding or weight gain of the earthworms. The LC50 value and the results of this study establish the wide margin of safety afforded to earthworms by eprinomectin under typical usage conditions.  相似文献

The origin and possible antiquity of faunas at deep-sea hydrothermal vents and seeps have been debated since their discovery. We used the fossil record of seep mollusks to show that the living seep genera have significantly longer geologic ranges than the marine mollusks in general, but have ranges similar to those of deep-sea taxa, suggesting that seep faunas may be shaped by the factors that drive the evolution of life in the deep sea in general. Our data indicate that deep-sea anoxic/dysoxic events did not affect seep faunas, casting doubt on the suggested anoxic nature and/or global extent of these events.  相似文献

The low sensitivity of the IBR-gE ELISA compared to other diagnostic ELISA tests for IBR is a major disadvantage of IBR control programmes based on IBR marker vaccination. Therefore the IBR-gE ELISA is not generally recommended for testing pooled or bulk milk samples.The aim of this study was to determine the performance of a commercially available kit for concentrating and purifying antibodies in milk in order to improve the sensitivity of detecting IBR-gE antibody positive cows from pooled and bulk milk samples. A single IBR-gE positive cow is likely to remain undetected in a pool of 49 negative milk samples without concentration. By contrast, the bulk milk concentration procedure improved sensitivity from 5.4% to 75.7% in a positive herd. Milk samples with a high or moderate positive signal are more likely to be detected after pool milk concentration compared to weak positive samples. Whereas a follow up study involving a monthly testing of bulk milk samples from three marker vaccinated IBR-gE negative herds over a period of seven months yielded negative results each month, bulk milk from a herd containing <5% IBR-gE positive cows always detected positive after concentration. Although the milk concentration procedure had no impact on specificity, it significantly enhanced the sensitivity of the detection of IBR-gE positive milk in pooled and bulk milk samples. After further evaluation this procedure could allow a cost efficient and reliable method of monitoring IBR marker-vaccinated herds for IBR-gE antibodies.  相似文献

Successful selection of interspecific hybrid progenies with superior ability to regenerate shoots from apical meristems was performed in sunflower which now allows for the development of lines for improved biotechnological applications. Early generations of interspecific hybrids originating from crosses between the two H. annuus CMS lines ‘HA89’ and ‘Baso’, and 9 wild species were screened for their ability to regenerate in vitro. Evaluation of 36 progenies allowed to identify seven progenies from crosses involving H. mollis, H. giganteus, H. strumosus, and H. decapetalus which showed a significantly higher regeneration potential than the commercial hybrid ‘Albena’ regarding the number of shoots per explant. Among these progenies, 47.2 to 62.4% of explants produced shoots with an average of 2.3 to 3.5 shoots per cultured explant. Regeneration in vitro was significantly determined by the genotype. More than half of the investigated interspecific hybrids performed better than the inbred ‘HA89’ demonstrating that the high regeneration potential available in the wild species can be efficiently transferred to cultivated sunflower. The seven progenies with high regeneration potential in vitro were characterised by agronomic performance in the field. Two of the interspecific hybrids derived from H. strumosus and H. decapetalus not only showed a superior regeneration potential but also proved to be competitive to commercial hybrids with regard to important agronomic traits, e.g. fat content and TGW.
