经 8年系统试验研究从 330个细菌菌株中筛选出 1株防病促生枯萎病拮抗菌“98 Ⅰ” ,经鉴定属蜡质芽孢杆菌。该菌对黄瓜枯萎病、西瓜枯萎病、青椒枯萎病和番茄枯萎病 4种土传病害均有显著防治效果 ,其平皿孢子萌发抑制率分别为 79 2 %、75 1%、72 3%和 95 7% ,且该菌对多种蔬菜有促生和促进种子发芽功效。 相似文献

Due to low cost and large abundance, coal continues to be one of the major energy sources for electricity generation in the USA. The dry desulfurization of flue gases during coal combustion produces a by-product that may be potentially useful as a soil amendment. However, the influence of dry flue gas desulfurization (DFGD) by-products on trace element losses with runoff from treated fields has not been well investigated. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of land application of a high-Ca, DFGD by-product on trace elements lost in runoff from natural rainfall events. The by-product was applied once on May 18, 2015 at 9 Mg DFGD ha?1 to small plots of a highly weathered Ultisol under managed-grassland land use in northwest Arkansas. Runoff was collected following each runoff-producing precipitation event for 1 year. Seasonal (i.e., summer (May to August), fall (August to November), winter (November to February), and spring (February to May)) runoff, annual runoff, runoff pH, and electrical conductivity did not differ significantly between DFGD treatments. Seasonal flow-weighted mean Ni concentrations and seasonal V loads were significantly greater in runoff when amended versus the unamended control when compared during at least one 3-month season by 44.5 and 86.9% for Ni and V, respectively. Based on the results of this study, it appears that land application of a high-Ca DFGD by-product at rates ≤?9 Mg ha?1 has minimal effects on trace elements in runoff. 相似文献

The objectives of this work were to estimate heterosis and breed genetic effects for carcass quantity, quality, and palatability traits of steers (Bos spp.) produced from matings of Romosinuano, Brahman, and Angus cattle. Steers (n = 464) were weaned at 7 mo of age and transported to the Southern Great Plains where they grazed winter wheat for 6 mo and were then fed a finishing diet until serial slaughter after different days on feed (average 130 d). Carcass quality and quantity traits were measured; steaks (aged 7 d) were obtained for palatability evaluation. Heterosis was detected for BW, HCW, dressing percentage, LM area, and yield grade for all pairs of breeds. Generally, Romosinuano-Angus heterosis estimates were smallest, Romosinuano-Brahman estimates were intermediate, and Brahman-Angus heterosis estimates were largest. The direct Romosinuano effect was to decrease (P < 0.05) BW (-67 ± 16 kg), HCW (-48 ± 10 kg), dressing percentage (-1.4 ± 0.5 units), 12th rib fat thickness (-5.2 ± 0.8 mm), and yield grade (-0.9 ± 0.1), and to increase LM area per 100 kg HCW (3.6 ± 0.3 cm(2)/100 kg). Significant Brahman direct effects were detected for BW (34 ± 17 kg), HCW (29 ± 10 kg), dressing percentage (1.6 ± 0.6 %), LM area per 100 kg HCW (-3.3 ± 0.4 cm(2)/100 kg), and yield grade (0.6 ± 0.1). Significant Angus direct effects were to increase 12th rib fat thickness (3.8 ± 1 mm). Among sire breed means, Romosinuano had reduced (P = 0.002) marbling score (393 ± 9) than Angus, but greater mean sensory tenderness scores (5.8 ± 0.1), and reduced percentage Standard carcasses (10 ± 2%) than Brahman (P < 0.002). Angus sire breed means for marbling score (475 ± 10), overall tenderness (5.8 ± 0.1), and percentage Choice carcasses (75 ± 5%) were greater (P < 0.05) than Brahman sire breed means (360 ± 11, 5.4 ± 0.1, 31 ± 5%). Our objectives were to compare a two-step model and a joint procedure via random regression model for evaluating weight gain of beef bulls, weighed every 28 d on 140-d test, and to estimate genetic, environmental, and phenotypic parameters. Two-step analysis consisted of fitting fixed linear regressions to weights of each bull to determine weight gain on test. In the second step, gain on test was analyzed by a mixed model that included fixed effects of breed, test group, and starting age and random effects of weaning herd-year group and animal (additive genetic). The random regression model included the same effects as the two-step mixed-model analysis with an additional random animal permanent environment effect. Fourth-order Legendre polynomials of days on test were fitted for all fixed and random effects in the random regression model, except for breed. Breed effects and residual variances varied for each measurement period. Variance components and EBV for gain were obtained from the covariance function and estimates of random regression coefficients for weight, respectively. Random regression heritability estimates for gain on test increased over time, being maximum at end of test (0.38) and equal to two-step estimate. Permanent environment variance ratio estimates also increased over time and were greater than heritability estimates. Estimate of weaning herd-year variance ratio was approximately constant over time, being equal to 0.07 at end of test and similar to two-step estimate. Genetic correlations between gain through different periods on test given by random regression model were high (from 0.81, between 28 and 140-d gain on test, to 0.99, between 112 and 140-d gain on test). Genetic correlations between gain on discrete 28-d intervals were moderate to high (e.g., 0.49 and 0.99 between the last 28 d on test and the first and fourth 28 d, respectively). Rank correlations between EBV for 140-d gain by the two procedures were 0.98, 0.84, and 0.73 for all bulls and the 5% and 1% of bulls with highest random regression EBV, respectively. Results indicated that the two procedures rank top bulls quite differently for 140-d gain on test. Random regression model accounted for changes over time of genetic and environmental effects on the test weight gain curve of the bulls. During an on-going amphibian ecology study, a free-ranging American bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana) metamorph was captured in a pitfall trap adjacent to a constructed farm pond at the Plateau Research and Education Center (PREC) on the Cumberland Plateau near Crossville, Tennessee, USA. Grossly, the right eye was approximately 50% the size of the left. Stereo and light microscopic examination revealed two granulomas within the orbit. Electron microscopic examination revealed virus particles scattered throughout one structure but mostly aggregated toward the center. Subsequent PCR and sequencing (GenBank accession Number EF175670) confirmed frog virus 3 (FV3). This represents the first report of a malformation in an anuran associated with FV3. 相似文献
