猪ERK6基因编码区的克隆及组织表达谱分析

利用RT-PCR方法扩增了猪ERK6基因编码区的序列，将扩增产物与pMD18-T载体连接，构建了重组质粒；重组质粒经PCR、酶切鉴定后进行测序；采用Northern杂交和半定量RT-PCR方法在猪不同部位骨骼肌中分析了ERK6基因转录本的个数、大小及组织表达谱。结果显示，所克隆的猪ERK6基因片段长1113bp，含有1个1104bp的开放阅读框（ORF），该ORF编码367个氨基酸；该基因与已报道的人ERK6基因核苷酸序列相似性为90％；猪ERK6基因在肌肉组织中只有一个转录本，大小约1．5kb。此基因在骨骼肌中的表达量最高，心、子宫次之，卵巢最低；而在脂肪、胃、肝、脾、肺、肾、十二指肠和胰腺中未见表达。结果表明，猪ERK6基因与已报道的小鼠和人ERK6基因一样，主要在骨骼中特异表达。     

Dietary influences on periodontal health in dogs and cats.

A pet cannot be healthy without oral health. Periodontal is a significant disease that has local and systemic ramifications. It has been stated earlier that effective plaque control prevents gingivitis. In human beings, 90% of periodontitis occurs as the result of progression gingivitis, and this type of periodontitis can be completely prevented by plaque control. It is reasonable that dogs and cats react similarly and that effective plaque control could prevent a large percentage of periodontitis cases. Proper nutrition and effective oral hygiene are necessary components of oral health and should be jointly promoted in the management of oral disease in dogs and cats.

The loss of opsonic activity of bovine milk whey following depletion of IgA

The role of the IgA antibody to Streptococcus agalactiae found in the whey of milks 12 hours after the first intramammary infection of six Friesian first lactation heifers was assessed using an in vitro bactericidal assay. The mean percentage kill of the streptococci by neutrophils in the presence of these wheys was 36.2% while the equivalent figure for the non-infected quarter whey was 0%. When the IgA antibody was absorbed from the infected quarter wheys using class specific IgA antiserum cross linked with glutaraldehyde the percentage kill of the test system fell to 0%. Elution of the absorbed antibody partially restored the activity to a mean percentage kill of 18.2%. The results indicated that the IgA antibody found in infected quarter whey during the acute stages of intramammary infection with Streptococcus agalactiae was responsible for the opsonic activity which pertained at that time.     

新疆甜菜常见病害调查及防治对策

根据近几年对新疆博州地区甜菜病害的调查研究表明,目前糖用甜菜上危害严重的病害主要有:立枯病、根腐病、褐斑病、白粉病、蛇眼病。通过对这几种病害的发病条件、危害情况及防治方法的调查分析,提出针对性的防治对策。     

西藏野生动物资源及其监测体系的探讨

结合西藏2000年野生动物资源监测调查，对监测调查结果进行了分析与评价，在此基础上，对建立西藏野生动物资源监测体系进行了探讨。     

泽泻和慈姑叶片对低温胁迫的响应

以泽泻和慈姑叶片为试验材料,研究其在0、-10、-15、-20℃低温胁迫下叶片中可溶性糖(WSC)、游离脯氨酸(Pro)含量、过氧化物酶(POD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性及相对电导率等5个生理生化指标的变化。结果表明,在0℃时2个植物的POD和CAT活性显著增加,之后随温度的降低而下降,在-20℃无活性。随着温度的降低,叶片相对电导率、可溶性糖和脯氨酸含量均有所增加,但增加幅度不同,综合5项指标分析得出,慈姑的抗寒性强于泽泻。
