AIM: To examine the expression of alpha-smooth muscle actin in scar tissue, and observe the phenomenon of apoptosis and its involvement in the process of pathological scarring and the presence of myofibroblasts or absence of cell in the dermis. To investigate the potential role of reparative cell apoptosis in hyperplastic scar formation. METHODS: The samples of scar were obtained from post-burn patients undergoing plastic operation in our burn unit recently, and the samples of control came from skin donor site of the same patient correspondingly. TUNEL assays were performed to evaluate the number of apoptotic cells in scar versus normal skin. In situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry staining technique were employed to determine the expression of different dermis cells markers in scar tissue and normal skin. RESULTS: There existed evident difference in apoptotic cells in the dermis between scars tissue and normal human skin. The expression positive cells were much more in hyperplastic scars than that in normal human skin; the apoptotic cells of proliferative stage were slight more than that of mature stage. However, in proliferative stage, the number of apoptotic cells was higher for the combination of hyperplastic scar than normally healed flat scars. But in mature stage, no obviously difference was detected between hyperplastic scar and normally healed flat scar. The monoclonal anti-α smooth muscle actin (ASMA) expression was significantly stronger in proliferative stage than that of mature stage. CONCLUSIONS: With reconstitution of dermal tissue, myofibroblasts containing alpha-SM actin disappear under normal wound healing, probably as a result of apoptosis. The myofibroblast play a critical role in wound closure and in the pathologic sequelae of healing. 相似文献

采用邻二氮菲-Fe2 氧化法测定了山豆根多糖(SSP1)清除羟自由基(.OH)的作用,应用邻苯三酚自氧化反应体系为产生超氧阴离子自由基(O2.)模型观察了SSP1对超氧阴离子的清除作用,选择辣根过氧化物酶-酚红法测定了山豆根多糖对H2O2的清除作用.结果表明,山豆根多糖(50~400 mg/l)具有清除羟自由基的作用,且呈明显的量效关系;对邻苯三酚自氧化具有抑制作用,对调理酵母多糖诱导的小鼠脾脏淋巴细胞释放H2O2具有抑制作用.该结果提示山豆根多糖具有抗氧化作用. 相似文献

西瓜病毒病是制约西瓜产量及品质的顽疾.据报道,该病害造成的经济损失达到30%~50%.1981~1999年皖、苏、鲁、豫西瓜的病毒病曾几次大发生.危害西瓜的病毒病有西瓜花叶病毒1号(WMV-1)、西瓜花叶病毒2号(WMV-2)、黄瓜花叶病毒(CMV)、烟草花叶病毒(TMV)、烟草环斑病毒(TRSV)、南瓜花叶病毒(SqMV)等32种[1].小西葫芦花叶病毒(ZYMV)是侵染葫芦科的主要病毒之一,1973年首次在意大利北部发现此病毒,至今已成为一个全球性的植物病毒[2].笔者对ZYMV合肥分离物的生物学特性进行了研究. 相似文献

AIM: To investigate expression of CD44s in lung cancer and it's clinical significance. METHODS: A total of 117 primary lung cancer from patients were examined for CD44s expression by immunohistochemical staining. RESULTS: CD44s mostly expressed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) but not in small ecll lung cancer (SCLC), and squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) showed much stronger expression of CD44s than adenocarcinoma(ADC)(P<0.05). In comparison of the lung cancer with/ without lymph node metastasis, the latter showed stronger expression of CD44s(P<0.01). According to TNM, there was a distinct statistic difference between early stage and advanced stage(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: CD44s might be a better indicant in histological classification of lung cancer, lymph node metastasis, clinical stage and prognosis. 相似文献

以抗溴氰菊酯、杀虫双、杀螟丹小菜蛾种群及其敏感品系为研究对象,借助聚合酶链式反应(PCR)、载体筛选、琼脂糖凝胶电泳等实验技术,检测了小菜蛾4个品系的Mariner转座子的存在及其与抗性的关系。结果表明,在抗溴氰菊酯、杀虫双、杀螟丹以及敏感品系的小菜蛾中都存在两种大约500 bp的Mariner转座子片断,初次证明在小菜蛾4个品系中均含有两种Mariner转座子,并发现一种新的转座子基因片断,但是没有发现Mariner转座子与抗性之间存在直接的联系。研究结果将为利用Mariner转座子标签法在小菜蛾中分离定位基因、转化外源基因、转基因昆虫防治害虫等研究提供理论基础。 相似文献

AIM: To explore the change and the possible role of MAPKs in rat hippocampus neuron after sleep deprivation. METHODS: The morphology of hippocampus neuron after sleep derivation was observed by TUNEL and HE staining, the activity of ERK was assayed by β-liquid scintillation counting and the expression of JNK was detected by Western blot. RESULTS: In paradoxical sleep deprivation (PSD) group, the number of apoptotic cells in hippocampus was increased. The scores of ERK activity were 1 764.00±941.56. Compared with control groups, the ERK activity was obviously decreased (P<0.05). The JNK expression was 87.5%, which was higher than that in control group. CONCLUSION: These results provide some important evidences that the sleep deprivation could cause changes in MAPKs activity, which may be related to the mechanism of hippocampus neuron apoptosis. 相似文献
