Change of lake area in the southeastern part of China’s Badain Jaran Sand Sea and its implications for recharge sources 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Understanding the relationship between the changes in lake water volume and climate change can provide valuable information to the recharge sources of lake water. This is particularly true in arid areas such as the Badain Jaran Sand Sea, an ecologically sensitive area, where the recharge sources of lakes are heatedly debated. In this study, we determined the areas of 50 lakes(representing 70% of the total permanent lakes in this sand sea) in 1967, 1975, 1990, 2000 and 2010 by analyzing remote-sensing images using image processing and Ar GIS software. In general, the total lake area decreased from 1967 to 1990, remained almost unchanged from 1990 to 2000, and increased from 2000 to 2010. Analysis of the relationship between these changes and the contemporaneous changes in annual mean temperature and annual precipitation in the surrounding areas suggests that temperature has significantly affected the lake area, but that the influence of precipitation was minor. These results tend to support the palaeo-water recharge hypothesis for lakes of the Badain Jaran Sand Sea, considering the fact that the distribution and area of lakes are closely related to precipitation and the size of mega-dunes, but the contemporaneous precipitation can hardly balance the lake water. 相似文献

Based on the concept of disturbing structure, this paper presents a progressive yield constitutive model by extending the Cam Clay model in order to describe influence of the disturbing structure on soil behavior. The internal variable of yield surface is not just a constant parameter, and it should be treated as a distribution function in a range. The single yield surface of the Cam Clay model wis extended to a field of yield surface. Then by introducing the progressive yield concept into the Cam Clay model, the progressive yield constitutive model wis developed. Only one parameter wis added besides the three parameters of the Cam Clay, which represents the disturbing structure of the soils. The characteristics of work piece's surface under precision abrasive belt grinding are analyzed.A comprehensive understanding of the reason of low roughness value's surface is found out,which the edge of grain formed compact and crossed micro grinding marks that can compensate for the inconsistence of grinding mark's height in single grinding direction.The grinding test of gear shaft is done for the sake of doing research on the main factors of surface roughness in grinding quenching stainless steel.The results indicate that decreasing the vertical pressure is beneficial to(reduce) surface roughness of work piece,and the surface roughness also can reach the requirement of precision processing when steadily grinding. 相似文献

The interface interaction between geogrid and soil is one of the key issues on geosynthetic reinforced soil structures. Comparative analysis of properties of geogrid clay interface under the different normal stresses and water contents of clay were conducted by medium sized pullout tests. The results show that ultimate pullout force of geogrid, interfacial cohesion and frictional coefficient are significantly affected by water content of clay. Ultimate pullout force of geogrid tends to be remarkably different when subjecting to different normal stresses at a lower water content. And frictional coefficient of interface decreases with the increase of water content, and interfacial cohesion has a tendency to increase followed by decrease with the increase of water content. Moreover, aforementioned three parameters can keep constant when water content is close to value at plasticity limit. The curves of load and displacement possess three stages: linear increase, non linear increase and ultimate pullout. As water content increases, the interval nonlinear changing stage is not conspicuous. Furthermore, it is found that geogrid strains in transversal ribs tend to increase but to reduce in longitudinal ribs when last level load is kept for given hours and then followed by unloading pullout force. 相似文献

A 1D hydrodynamic model on Pengxi Backwater Area (PBA) in the Three Gorges Reservoir during its preliminary operation period (2007 2008) is set up based on HEC RAS. In the large submerged area or water fluctuation zone, virtual levee is set up in the model between the conveyance channel and the storage area. The Manning’s n in PBA is calibrated and selected in the range of 0.27〖XC半字线.tif,JZ〗0.35. Calibrated model has good modeling results. Quasi Steady simulation approach is applied to calculate 1D hydrodynamic condition in the PBA during the study period. Analysis on the hydrodynamic condition in the PBA show that in the low water level operation stage, average velocity of upper reach in PBA will exceed 0.5 m/s, which is close to natural river. The Gaoyang Lake is formed as a relative independent and semi closure dam lake in the middle reach of PBA. Due to the enlarged cross section, the velocity at downstream of PBA is significantly decreased. In the high water level operation stage, no remarkable difference of velocity among cross sections in the PBA, indicating a significant hydrological characteristic of deep river based reservoir. The variation of reservoir capacity and hydraulic retention time in the PBA is 8.26×10 8〖XC半字线.tif,JZ〗2.51×10 8 m 3 and 157.0〖XC半字线.tif,JZ〗3.8 d respectively. The variation of reservoir capacity in PBA is impacted by the water level fluctuation more significantly. The hydraulic retention time in the PBA is impacted by both and river discharge dually. Frequency analysis show that 17.8% of hydraulic retention time data in the PBA is showed to be overflow reservoir type and 82.2% of that data showed to be transition type. 相似文献

To insure the safe performance of rockfill dam faces in cold seasons, frost tests were carried out at a consistent empirical freezing speed of 20mm/day to study the frost susceptibility of the bedding materials. The influence of gradation, fine particle content, water content, and surcharge of the bedding material on frost heaving were obtained. When fine particle content was below 12%, there was no or only weak frost heaving. Frost increased linearly as fine particle content rose. When the fine particle content was fixed, the linear relationship between the water content and the frost heaving changed with the gradations. Typical water content of 7.5%, fine particle content of 12%, and concrete face density of 59g/cm3 are suggested for the bedding material to avoid frost damage. 相似文献

A finite element model based on the flexibility method and a fiber section model of nonlinear beam column elements was adopted within the OpenSees framework. A typical multistory reinforced concrete 3D frame designed in accordance with the Chinese building code and a representative plane frame parallel to the X axis were used as examples. The relationships of the responses obtained from the plane and 3D models were studied by comparing global and local seismic responses of the frame, and by taking the responses of the 3D model under unidirectional earthquake action as a medium for comparison. Because the results show the global responses of the plane model are similar to those of the 3D model, it is reasonable to replace the 3D model with the plane model when examining global seismic responses. The local responses are evidently different. For the plane model under unidirectional action, numerous plastic hinges develop at the beam ends. Many more plastic hinges at column ends exist than in beams for the 3D model under bi directional action. Column ductility demands obviously exceed those of beams. The frame tends to develop a column sway mechanism, implying that simplified plane analysis model significantly underestimates the seismic responses of the 3D frame column. 相似文献
