Influence of soil characteristics, agricultural use and soil temperature on the N-mobilization of cultivated soils A new N-mobilization model, which considers also the short term and seasonal N-supplying capacity of soil is presented. At a fixed time the potential mobilizable N (N-MOB) is a sum of difficultly mobilizable N (N-MOBs) originating from the pool of difficultly mobilizable N (Ns) and the easily mobilizable N (N-MOB1) originating from the pool of easily mobilizable N (N1). It is possible to characterize soil according to their M1, N-MOBs and v (N-MOBs per day) values. Usefulness of these parameters in N-nutrition and ground water burden from N has been discussed. Basic parameters of this model have been experimentally determined independently with the help of two different experiments i. e. laboratory incubation and column lysimeter using surface soil samples. The easily mobilizable N pool (N1) values were found in the range of 142 to 814 kg N ha?1 which corresponded to 1.2 to 7.4 % of organic N content of these soils. The difficultly mobilizable N per day (i. e. v = N-MOBs per day) in an incubation experiment (35°C) were found in the range of 1.5 to 24kg N ha?1. However, in the column lysimeter experiment, in contrast, these values at 10°C ranged between 0.05 to 0.9 kg N ha?1. These values correspond to N-MOBs values in the range of 11–182 kg N·ha?1 for a period of 200 days which approximate to a vegetation period. For practical purposes, the N1 and v values could be calculated by just measuring 3–4 points after 14 days of incubation at 35°C. The results show that N-MOBs values strongly correlated compared to N1 values to total N, organic carbon and clay content and non significantly to pH and silt content. The results of an laboratory incubation experiment carried out to assess the effect of temperature on N-mobilization show that even at 0°C there was N-mobilization. The results revealed that in the temperature range of 0–8°C (a range of soil temp. usually observed in winter months) and in the range of 25–40°C (range of summer months temp. for surface arable soil), a small change in the soil temperature would result in enormous increase in the quantity of mobilized N. The phenolic profile of four blueberry varieties (Vaccinium corymbosum L., cv. Toro, Legacy, Duke and Bluecrop) and two varieties (Rosenthal and Rovada) of red currants (Ribes rubrum L.) and black currants (Ribes nigrum L.) cultivated in Macedonia have been analyzed using HPLC coupled to diode-array detection and tandem mass spectrometry with electrospray ionization. A complex profile of anthocyanins, flavonols, flavan-3-ols and hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives has been assayed in acetone-acetic acid (99:1, v/v) extracts. Anthocyanins comprised the highest content of total phenolic compounds in currants (>85%) and lower and variety dependent in blueberries (35-74%). Hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives comprised 23-56% of total phenolics in blueberries and 1-6% in currants. Chlorogenic acid was the major hydroxycinnamic acid in blueberries, only in the Legacy variety, two malonyl-caffeoylquinic acid isomers were major components. Flavonols, mainly quercetin and myricetin glycosides, were a minor group, but glucosides of laricitrin and syringetin were also detected in the blueberry varieties counting for 10-34% of total flavonols. We measured the spin state of iron in ferropericlase (Mg0.83Fe0.17)O at high pressure and found a high-spin to low-spin transition occurring in the 60- to 70-gigapascal pressure range, corresponding to depths of 2000 kilometers in Earth's lower mantle. This transition implies that the partition coefficient of iron between ferropericlase and magnesium silicate perovskite, the two main constituents of the lower mantle, may increase by several orders of magnitude, depleting the perovskite phase of its iron. The lower mantle may then be composed of two different layers. The upper layer would consist of a phase mixture with about equal partitioning of iron between magnesium silicate perovskite and ferropericlase, whereas the lower layer would consist of almost iron-free perovskite and iron-rich ferropericlase. This stratification is likely to have profound implications for the transport properties of Earth's lowermost mantle. 相似文献

Female northern whitefish were treated with salmon [D‐Arg6Pro9Net]‐sGnRHa emulsified in Freund′s incomplete adjuvant as a sustained release treatment (sGnRHa‐FIA) or with [D‐Arg6Pro9Net]‐sGnRHa dissolved in physiological saline as acute release treatment (sGnRHa‐PS). Females in four experimental groups (A, B, C, D) and one control group (E) were injected intraperitoneally as follows: A and B – sGnRHa‐FIA at doses of 50 and 25 μg kg?1, respectively; C – double injection (DI) of sGnRHa‐PS at 25 μg kg?1 administered 3 days apart; D – single injection (SI) of sGnRHa‐PS at 25 μg kg?1; and E – control group receiving a 1:1 mixture of FIA and physiological saline. All treatments induced and synchronized ovulation. Mean time to ovulation was significantly reduced (P < 0.05) in GnRHa‐treated groups compared with control. Hormone treatments did not affect the relative fecundity. Slight differences were found in ovarian fluid pH between group A and D (P < 0.05). Except for group C, egg size was significantly reduced (P < 0.01) in hormonally synchronized groups compared with the control. Survival to the eyed stage of eggs from females in groups A, B and C was significantly lower (P < 0.01) than in groups D and E. Per cent hatched alevins was lower (P < 0.01) in groups A, B and C than in groups D and E. We conclude that synchronization of ovulation in northern whitefish can be induced by a single acute injection of [D‐Arg6Pro9NEt]‐sGnRHa at 25 μg kg?1 BW if given near the natural spawning time determined by water temperature below 2°C. 相似文献

We investigated the influence of administration of flax-seed oil on interaction of Lactobacillus plantarum – Biocenol? LP96 and Escherichia coli O8:K88ab:H9 in the gut of germ-free piglets. When compared to animals supplemented with L. plantarum, the counts of lactobacilli in the jejunal and ileal mucosa and in the intestinal content were significantly higher in LMK group (p < 0.0001). Inter-groups comparison of the counts of E. coli K88 adhering to the jejunal and ileal mucosa revealed a significantly decrease in LMK animals (p < 0.001; p < 0.05). 相似文献
