Two field experiments were carried out during 1982/83 and 1983/84 seasons at Experimental Farm of National Research Centre at Shalakan, Kalubia Governorate, Egypt, to study the effects of supplemental growth factors on the reversal of glyphosate-induced inhibition in photosynthetic pigments and protein in faba beans. A split plot design with four replications was used in both seasons. Glyphosate at 0,312 and 468 g.a.i./ha as well as the untreated treatment, arranged at random in main plots while, the growth factors, i.e., growth regulators, amino acids and nutrient elements at different concentrations distributed randomly in the sub plots. The results could be summarized as follows:
1. Glyphosate decreased chlorophyll a, b and carotenoides content and the total pigments content in the leaves of faba bean plants, as well as, the protein content of seeds and protein yield per hectare.
2. The treatments of phenylalanine at 500 ppm, urea at 1 %, cytolinin at 4/1000 and tryptophan at 500 ppm, reversed the glyphosate-induced-phytotoxicity on decreasing the chlorophyll a, b content and total pigments content in faba bean leaves. The same treatments, as well as, zinc sulfate at 1 %, reversed the glyphosate-induced-phytotoxicity on decreasing the carotenoids content in faba bean leaves.
3. The treatment of G a 3 at 100 ppm gave the highest percentage of crude protein in seeds, while the lowest value was obtained from cytokinin at 4/1000, in both seasons.
4. The treatments of cytokinin at 4/1000, phenylalanine at 500 ppm and tryptophan at both levels, reversed the glyphosate-induced-phytotoxicity on decreasing the protein yield per h.  相似文献

Two field experiments were carried out during 1984 and 1985 seasons at the Farm of Shandaweel Agric. Res. Station, A. R. C, Ministry of Agric. (Egypt), to study the effect of five herbicides applied as a single or in tank mixtures as well as hoeing treatment on sesame plants and dominated annual weeds under Upper Egypt growing conditions. The herbicides alachlor at 2.304, pendimethalin at 2.040, linuron at 1.200, diuron at 0.960 and prometryn at 1.920 kg a.i./ha were applied preemergence as a single herbicides, as well as alachlor and pendimethalin combined with linuron, diuron or prometryn at the same rates. Two checks were included, one was left without weed removal, while the other was hand-hoed.
Pendimethalin at 2.040 applied alone or in mixtures with linuron at 1.200 or with diuron at 0.960 kg a.i./ha gave the best grass weed control, while excellent effectiveness against annual broad-leaves was obtained by linuron at 1,200 and diuron at 0.960 kg a.i./ha alone or in mixtures with pendimethalin at 2.040 kg a.i./ha. Whereas, pendimithalin at 2.040 applied alone or in tank mixtures with linuron at 1.200 or with diuron at 0.960 kg a.i./ha gave the best control for total annual weeds and higher seed yield of sesame as well as other yield contributing characters.  相似文献

为明确茉莉酸甲酯(MeJA)诱导柿树(Diospyros kaki Linn.f.)挥发物成分的变化对蚧虫的天敌昆虫红点唇瓢虫(Chilocorus kuwanae Silvestri)吸引力的持续效应,应用3种剂量(20、100μL和200μL)的MeJA处理柿树,通过"Y"型嗅觉仪测试瓢虫的行为反应,并采用顶空收集和气质联用(GC/MS)分析挥发物的组成和相对含量。结果表明,MeJA可以诱导树体挥发物成分发生改变,对瓢虫产生吸引力,其持续效应可达1d以上。而不同剂量的处理组之间存在差异,高剂量组中萜烯类物质含量最多,在处理后3h瓢虫的趋性最强,相应的α-蒎烯含量高达34.05%。处理3~5d后吸引力显著下降,α-蒎烯等化合物的含量也逐渐减少。因此,茉莉酸甲酯的连续应用可以招引更多的瓢虫来控制蚧虫。  相似文献

Brown planthopper(BPH) is one of the most serious and destructive insect pests of rice in most rice growing regions of the world. In this study, two major resistance genes against BPH have been identified in an Oryza rufipogon (Griff.) introgression rice line, RBPH54. Inheritance of the BPH resistance in RBPH54 was studied by screening the resistance in parents, F1, F2 and BC1 generations against BPH biotype 2. A population of BC3F2 lines was developed and SSR markers were employed for the gene mapping, and new markers were designed for fine mapping of the resistance genes, while sequence information of BAC/PAC clones was used to construct physical maps of the genes. The results showed that the BPH resistance in RBPH54 was governed by recessive alleles at two loci, tentatively designated as bph20(t) and bph21(t). The locus bph20(t) was fine mapped to the short arm of chromosome 6 about 2.7 cM to the upper marker RM435 and 2.5 cM to lower marker RM540 and in a 2.5 cM region flanked by two new SSR markers BYL7 and BYL8 which were developed in the present study. The other BPH resistance locus bph21(t) was initially mapped to a region 7.9 cM to upper marker RM222 and 4.0 cM to lower marker RM244 on the short arm of chromosome 10. For physical mapping, the bph20(t)-linked markers were landed on BAC/PAC clones of the reference cv., Nipponbare, released by the International Rice Genome Sequencing Project. The bph20(t) locus was physically defined to an interval of about 75 kb with clone P0514G1. Identification and location of these two genes in the present study have diversified the BPH resistance gene pool, which give benefit to the development of resistant rice cultivars, and the linkage PCR-based SSR markers for the bph20(t) and bph21(t) genes would help realize the application of the genes in rice breeding through marker-assisted selection.  相似文献
