Fossil spores, pollen, and fishes from connecticut indicate early jurassic age for part of the newark group

Palynologically productive localities have been found in the United States throughout the Newark Group basins, most of which had previously been assumed to be barren. Rich palynoflorules dominated by coniferous pollen of Circulina-Classopollis type, and well-preserved fossil fishes, including possible new semionotids, have been found in the Hartford basin. Palynological data indicate that the Newark Group has considerable time-stratigraphic range: Upper Triassic for the Cumnock Formation (North Carolina), the Vinita Beds (Virginia), and the upper New Oxford Formation (Pennsylvania), Rhaeto-Liassic for the Brunswick Formation (New Jersey), Portland Formation (Connecticut and Massachusetts), and the Shuttle Meadow Formation (Connecticut).     

Excel在工资核算管理中的应用

目前,企事业单位工资核算都是利用工资管理系统软件来实现,比较简单方便,但在实际应用时有很大的局限性.一是由于企事业的工资项目名目繁多经常增减项目,常出现工资管理系统软件解决不了的问题.二是由于工资管理系统软件的查询统计条件设置不灵活,功能有限,不能满足企事业各种报表的要求.三是由于工资管理系统使用的数据库一般只存有工资性数据,不存放人员的基本信息,工资变动时只能逐个逐项地录入数据,实际上有些数据可根据人员的基本信息计算替换得来.笔者利用电子表格软件Excel的自动填充、有效性数据检查、自动计算、排序、筛选、分类汇总、数据透视表等功能编制工资名册,很好地实现了工资的核算和管理,不仅提高了效率,还能满足不同单位的不同要求,适用于大部分会计专业和非计算机专业人员使用.     

A dearth of dark matter in ordinary elliptical galaxies

The kinematics of the outer parts of three intermediate-luminosity elliptical galaxies were studied with the Planetary Nebula Spectrograph. The galaxies' velocity-dispersion profiles were found to decline with the radius, and dynamical modeling of the data indicates the presence of little if any dark matter in these galaxies' halos. This unexpected result conflicts with findings in other galaxy types and poses a challenge to current galaxy formation theories.     

巨峰和无核早红葡萄在越南谅山试种观察

[目的]观察巨峰、无核早红葡萄在越南谅山省的引种表现,为其在越南推广种植提供参考依据.[方法]2009年春从中国南宁引入巨峰、无核早红两个鲜食葡萄品种在越南谅山省试种,调查其枝蔓生长量、物候期、果实性状、产量等相关指标.[结果]至第1年抚育冬季,巨峰葡萄枝蔓总长234.5 cm,上架茎粗0.84 cm;无核早红葡萄枝蔓总长294.1 cm,上架茎粗0.86 cm.在物候期方面,巨峰葡萄从萌芽至果实成熟需141~151 d,表现中熟;无核早红从萌芽至果实成熟需142~151 d,未表现其应有的早熟特性.在果实性状方面,巨峰葡萄2010~2012年3年平均单果重8.9 g,种子数1.04粒,可溶性固形物(TSS)含量17.5%;无核早红葡萄2010~2012年3年平均单果重6.8 g,TSS含量13.9%.在产量方面,巨峰葡萄2010~2012年产量分别为13.69、17.50和16.24 t/ha;无核早红葡萄2010~2012年产量分别为10.81、16.02和20.92t/ha.[结论]巨峰葡萄在越南谅山省种植表现丰产稳产优质,具有较好的适栽性,可大面积推广种植;无核早红葡萄表现丰产稳产,但表现低糖低酸,极易裂果,着色困难,不宜在越南大面积发展.     

校园网建设特色刍议

近几年,因信息技术发展和办学内在需求的双重推动,校园网建设取得了较大进展,但纵观校园网建设,又有不少问题令人堪忧:因缺乏技术人员维护,使已建成的校园网不能正常运行;还有在资金和技术均到位的情况下,因所建的校园网没有自己特色,在办学中不能充分发挥作用.研究如何建设具有特色的校园网,充分发挥其在办学和推进我国现代远程教育事业中作用,显得尤为迫切.     

信息技术课应注重实践性教学

信息技术课是一门以实践性为主的课程,学生大部分学习时间是在上机中进行,通过上机才能真正掌握信息技术;信息技术课的内容丰富有趣,最能吸引学生的兴趣,信息技术的高速发展使得这门课的内容更新非常快.针对信息技术课的这些特点,搞好信息技术教学,我们有以下几点体会:     

Picosecond coherent optical manipulation of a single electron spin in a quantum dot

Most schemes for quantum information processing require fast single-qubit operations. For spin-based qubits, this involves performing arbitrary coherent rotations of the spin state on time scales much faster than the spin coherence time. By applying off-resonant, picosecond-scale optical pulses, we demonstrated the coherent rotation of a single electron spin through arbitrary angles up to pi radians. We directly observed this spin manipulation using time-resolved Kerr rotation spectroscopy and found that the results are well described by a model that includes the electronnuclear spin interaction. Measurements of the spin rotation as a function of laser detuning and intensity confirmed that the optical Stark effect is the operative mechanism.     

基于快速原型的SCR系统电控平台开发设计

SCR系统是柴油机有效降低NO_x,实现国家第四、第五阶段排放标准的关键尾气处理设备,本文在Simulink环境中,设计实现了基于原机NO_x排放脉谱计算尿素需求量的控制策略,与尿素喷射的恒压控制策略、基于stateflow的状态转移策略、温度预测控制策略、OBD故障诊断控制策略,经过系统设计、Simulink建模、代码生成、软件在环测试等环节完成V型开发流程。用户可以对控制策略进行修改、标定、调试,也可进行二次开发。该系统硬件部分以快速原型PROtroniC为核心,外接传感器或信号模拟器,同时设计了监测系统,可监测发动机转速、工作温度、NO_x浓度,反应效率,显示故障代码等信息,实验验证了其工作的可靠性和稳定性。     

Monitoring biosynthesis of wheat cell-wall phenylpropanoids in situ

Lignins and suberins are complex plant cell-wall macromolecules that are composed mainly of phenylpropanoid residues derived from L-phenylalanine. Lignins and suberins are considered to be covalently linked to carbohydrates and to lipids, respectively. The bonding of these important structural materials within cell walls has never been established. By feeding specifically labeled [(13)C] ferulic acid over extended durations to seedlings of Triticum aestivum L. and by using solid-state carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance techniques, the major resonances due to specific carbons in the propanoid side chains of these cell-wall polymers have been identified in situ. The signals were found to differ significantly from those of synthetic lignins, which have usually been considered to be good approximations of natural lignin structure.
