In this study, the norms for Vitis Vinifera have been derived and compared using the Compositional Nutrient Diagnosis (CND) and Deviation from Optimum Percentage (DOP) diagnose methods to determine the nutrient deficiency in Vineyards at Central Alborz region, Iran. A total of 200 leaf samples were collected during two years from Vitis Vinifera trees and nutrient concentrations of Mn, Zn, Fe, Mg, Ca, K, P, N, B, and Cu were measured. The results showed that there are differences between DOP and CND diagnosis methods. According to mean DOP indices for nutrient elements, the priority of the deficiency of elements was as follows: Mn > P > Ca > Fe > Cu. In addition, the CND standard norms were determined as Fci(VN) = 32.34, Fci(VP) = 34.49, Fci(VK) = 48.58, Fci(VCa) = 54.39, Fci(VMg) = 64.11, Fci(VMn) = 19.71, Fci(VZn) = 47.64, Fci(VFe) = 53.32, Fci(VCu) = 32.44, Fci(VB) = 41.59, and Fci(Rd) = 39.19 ton.ha?1. The results also showed that there is the deficiency of manganese, nitrogen, iron, and phosphorus in vineyards. Therefore, the field observations due to the implications of apparent deficiencies of nutrient elements in the gardens of the region are more consistent with the DOP method.  相似文献

Summary This report examines the relationship between seedling vigor, -amylase enzyme activity and -amylase mRNA accumulation in ten varieties of rice (Oryza sativa L.) grown at two temperatures (15°C and 30°C). A significant, positive correlation was observed between seedling vigor, -amylase enzyme activity, and the accumulation of mRNA from one rice -amylase gene (RAmy1A) at both temperature regimens. The results of this study support previous experiments which have correlated -amylase enzyme activity to seedling vigor. We have extended this correlation to the expression of one of ten genes that comprise the rice -amylase multigene family. These results suggest that the expression of -amylase gene RAmy1A is an important, and possibly rate-limiting factor in determining seedling vigor in rice.  相似文献

The response of plant development rate (including germination rate) to temperature might be described as a non-linear function. We compared 3 non-linear regression models (Dent-like, segmented and beta) to describe the germination rate-temperature relationships of opium poppy (Papaver somniferum L.) over 6 constant temperatures to find cardinal temperatures and thermal time required to reach different germination percentiles. Two replicated experiments were performed with the same temperatures. An iterative optimization method was used to calibrate the models and different statistical indices (mean absolute error, coefficient of determination (R2), intercept and slope of the regression equation of predicted vs. observed germination rate) were applied to compare their performance. The segmented was found to be the best model to predict germination rate (R2 = 0.92, MAE = 0.0011 and CV of 1.4-3.6%). Estimated cardinal temperatures were similar for different germination percentiles (P < 0.05). Base on the model outputs, the base, the optimum and the maximum temperatures for germination were estimated as 3.02, 27.36 and 36.31 °C. The thermal time required to reach 50 and 95% germination was 57.27 and 87.55 degree-days, respectively. Model predictions of the time required for seed germination agreed reasonably well with the observed times (MAE = 0.56 day, R2 = 0.887). All model parameters may be readily used in crop simulation models.  相似文献

Owing to the importance of after anthesis water deficit in Mediterranean regions (such as Iran), this study has focused on harmful impact of after anthesis drought stress on grain yield (GY), photosynthesis, and some physiological characteristics of wheat. To this aim, a factorial experiment based on randomized complete block design with three replications was used in greenhouse conditions in Razi University in Kermanshah city of Iran, during 2010–2011 growing season. Two bread wheat genotypes, “Zagros” (tolerant to drought) and “Marvdasht” (sensitive to drought) were grown in normal water supply condition (100% of field capacity) and drought stress from anthesis until maturity (50% of field capacity). The results indicated that after anthesis water deficit considerably reduced grain and biological yields, thousand grain weight (TGW) and a number of grains per spike (NGS) among different traits in genotypes. Under well-watered and drought-treated conditions, genotypes in terms of all evaluated traits had considerable variations. Water deficit caused more reduction of net photosynthesis rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (gs), relative water content (RWC) of leaf, chlorophyll a, b (Chl), and soluble proteins content in sensitive genotype; values were respectively 66.3, 73.2, 14.6, 32.1, 46.2, and 25.6%. Better performance of tolerant genotype under water deficit was associated with a great ability in production of some osmoprotectants as inositol, glycerol, and erythritol sugars. Rather adaptation of tolerant genotype to water deficit may be attributable to having maximum soluble protein, sugar alcohols, Chl content, RWC, gs and Pn in drought stress, and with respect to the results, wheat might not be able to synthesize mannitol. Transfer of gene(s) producing mannitol may cause more improvement of growth performance of wheat under stresses.  相似文献

The possible role of chitinase in in vitro growth inhibition of the wheat pathogens Fusarium graminearum and Bipolaris sorokiniana by Bacillus pumilus SG2 was investigated. B. pumilus SG2, a chitinolytic bacterium producing two different chitinases, was previously isolated from the saline deserts of Iran. When grown in Spizizen salts medium with colloidal chitin, B. pumilus SG2 secreted two chitinases into the medium, resulting in growth inhibition of F. graminearum and abortion of hyphal elongation of B. sorokiniana. In contrast, when glucose was used as the carbon source, the chitinases were not expressed and antifungal activity of the B. pumilus SG2 was completely abolished. These results confirmed that expression of the B. pumilus SG2 chitinases is under the control of two types of regulation, special regulation by chitin and global regulation by glucose. We demonstrated that chitinases are the main components that caused hyphal inhibition activity of B. pumilus SG2. Hyphal inhibition of F. graminearum and B. sorokiniana was stable in agar for a minimum of 14 days.  相似文献
