Selection and Evaluation of Indexes Commonly Used to Determine Contamination with T-2 Toxin in Pacific White Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei by the Grey Relational Method

Abstract

The objectives of the present study were to evaluate the effects of different concentrations of the mycotoxin T-2 toxin in feed on muscle performance in the Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei, evaluate indexes of physiological variables that indicate T-2 toxin contamination in the shrimp using the grey relational method, and determine the dose–response relationships between T-2 toxin and the indexes. Of the 6 physical, 7 biochemical, and 17 nutritional indexes examined, the values of the grey relational coefficients were highest for the hepatopancreas: body weight ratio (HBR), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity, and serine (SER) content (0.83, 0.68, and 0.82, respectively). Therefore, the HBR, ALT activity, and SER content were selected as appropriate indexes for contamination of Pacific white shrimp muscle with T-2 toxin. Based on their dose–response relationship curves, mean effective doses of 1.45, 1.69, and 1.33 mg of T-2 toxin/kg of feed were obtained for the HBR, ALT activity, and SER content, respectively. These results offer technical reference points for the evaluation and control of T-2 toxin in shrimp feed.

Mapping B-cell linear epitopes of NS3 protein of bovine viral diarrhea virus

Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) is a member of the genus Pestivirus within the family Flaviviridae. NS3 is one of the immunodominance regions of the BVDV viral proteins. To identify the potential B-cell linear antigenic epitopes within BVDV NS3 region, serial overlapping truncations covering the whole region were expressed and purified, and screened by multistep of Western-blot. We found (₁VCKKITEHERCHVNI₁₅), (₂₀AFFGVMPRGTTPRAPVR₃₆), (₄₆RRGLETGWAYTHQGGI₆₁), (₂₈₁EGDMATGITYASYGYFC₂₉₇), (₄₂₆YSGEDPANLRVVTSQSPYVVVATNAIESGV₄₅₅) and (₄₈₁FIVTGLKRMAVTVGEQA₄₉₇) can be recognized by the BVDV infected bovine serum. These proteins have been confirmed by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (I-ELISA). The results of this study might open new perspectives on the structure and antibody–antigen reaction of the non-structural proteins and may aid in the clinical application as well.     

瘤胃缓释氮对奶牛泌乳性能的影响

试验旨在研究瘤胃缓释氮对奶牛泌乳性能的影响。选用胎次不同、产犊日期相近、泌乳中期的中国荷斯坦奶牛62头,随机分为两组(试验组和对照组),每组31头。试验前15d为预饲期。在预饲期内,试验组添加0.5%瘤胃缓释氮替代3%豆粕;到第16d添加1%瘤胃缓释氮替代6%豆粕;第38d添加1%瘤胃缓释氮替代6%的菜粕。结果表明,与对照组相比,试验组添加瘤胃缓释氮可提高奶牛对干物质的采食量,平均产奶量提高1.20kg,平均饲养成本降低0.33元/d,经济效益增加。

青皮种子主要储藏条件的研究Ⅰ.种子含水量与测控

水分是影响青皮(Vatica astrotricha Hance)种子活力最关键的内在因素,其中种胚含水量是决定因素。用含水量27—29％椰糠控制种胚含水量在50—52％,也就是控制种子含水量在30—36％,维持种子一定的呼吸强度(32℃下测定为50—60 O_2μl/g·h),种子活力保持最高,能延长寿命。找出了储藏中种子安全含水量的最佳点,此点处于安全含水量下限的内缘,可利用种子本身果翅与种子或大小种子之间含水量的内在关系来测定。这种测定方法准确、快速又简便。可考虑作为确定“顽拗型”种子安全含水量下限的新捷径。     

雏鸡感染法氏囊病毒后免疫器官中浆细胞的变化

本项研究对人工感染传染性法氏囊病毒(IBDV)的1日龄雏鸡和未感染 IBDV的相应对照雏鸡的免疫器官组织——法氏囊、胸腺、脾脏、盲肠扁桃体和哈德尔腺中的浆细胞总数、成熟浆细胞和前浆细胞数量及其分布的动态变化进行了检测。结果表明,1日龄雏鸡感染 IBDV 后,免疫器官组织中浆细胞总数和成熟浆细胞数明显低于对照雏鸡;前浆细胞数在感染初期也呈现一定的减少。浆细胞的上述变化在法氏囊的淋巴小结皮质、脾脏的红髓和鞘动脉外周、盲肠扁桃体的弥散区、哈德尔腺的集合小管和排泄管周围、胸腺的髓质等区域最明显。表明1日龄雏鸡感染IBDV 后,免疫器官的体液免疫反应呈现明显抑制。

貂,貉,犬病毒性肠炎快速诊断试剂的研究

用金黄葡萄球菌Ａ蛋白（ＳＰＡ）协同凝集方法（ＣｏＡ）对貂、貉、犬病毒性肠炎快速诊断的试剂进行了制备，确定了制备。艺及该制剂的标准操作程序。本制剂特异性强，不与健康动物的组织及其他几种病毒病（犬瘟热、犬传染性肝炎、狂犬病等）发生交叉凝集反应，灵敏度高，通过该制剂ＣｏＡ法与ＨＡ－ＨＩ法比较结果比现行的貂、貉、犬病毒性肠炎ＨＡ－ＨＩ诊断方法检出率高出３０％，同时具有微量、操作简便、易掌握、快速等特点，可在３～５ｍｉｎ获得诊断结果。     

网状内皮组织增殖病病毒感染SPF雏鸡外周血液T,B淋巴细胞数量变化

应用ＳＰＡ菌体花环法检测网状内皮组织增殖病病毒（ＲＥＶ）感染ＳＰＦ雏鸡外周血液Ｔ、Ｂ淋巴细胞数量动态变化。结果发现,１日龄ＳＰＦ雏鸡感染ＲＥＶ后７～４９ｄ外周血液Ｔ淋巴细胞数量,１４～４９ｄＢ淋巴细胞数量均明显低于对照组。表明感染ＲＥＶ的ＳＰＦ雏鸡外周血液的细胞免疫和体液免疫水平均下降。
