In this study, polyesters were prepared from sulfuric acid lignin (SAL) that was generated as a by-product during the production
of bioethanol from lignocellulosic materials using ɛ-caprolactone (CL). Carboxylic groups were introduced into SAL by a hydrothermal reaction under alkali conditions. The acid
form (-COOH) of the obtained polymer (HSAL) was dissolved into ɛ-caprolactone and the mixture was heated at 150°C for 12 h with ZnCl2 as a catalyst. The structure of the obtained polymer (PCL-HSAL) was proposed based on results of differential scanning calorimetric
analysis, swelling tests, and dynamic mechanical thermal analysis. The hydroxyl group in HSAL participated in the ring-opening
polymerization of CL. PCL-HSAL with a high HSAL content formed a three-dimensional network that did not dissolve in organic

为获得在工厂化养殖条件下的生长特性和规律,分别对10-14月龄的云纹石斑鱼、七带石斑鱼及其杂交F1 3个群体的体长、体重、生长指标、肥满度、超亲优势率等主要生长参数进行测定、比较和分析,并对3个群体的生长模型进行方程拟合。结果显示,在体长和体长生长指标方面,依次为杂交F1>云纹石斑鱼>七带石斑鱼;10-11、13月龄时,累积体重值依次为杂交F1>七带石斑鱼>云纹石斑鱼,体重和体重生长指标方面,增重依次为云纹石斑鱼>七带石斑鱼>杂交F1;七带石斑鱼的肥满度始终最高,杂交F1次之。研究表明,杂交F1体长生长速度最快,且在11月龄前的体重生长速度最快;云纹石斑鱼在11月龄后体重增长速度加快并超过其他两个群体;每月体长、体重生长值的超亲优势率分析显示,杂交F1在14个月的生长中表现出杂种优势。云纹石斑鱼为等速生长类型,七带石斑鱼与杂交F1同属于异速生长类型。 相似文献

Glucose is essential for the development of the fetus. We address here the quantitative expression and immunohistochemical localization of glucose transporter (GLUT1 and GLUT3) in the rabbit placenta during successful pregnancy. Blood glucose level showed a significant decrease at the gestation period in comparison with non-pregnancy. Maternal serum glucose was gradually increased according to fetal development. Quantitative RT-PCR results showed that expression of GLUT1 was significantly increased from day 13 to day 18, while GLUT3 mRNA level was significantly decreased during the same periods. Western blot analysis demonstrated that GLUT1 protein did not change significantly in the placenta during pregnancy when compared to non-pregnant uteri. Immunohistochemistry indicated that distribution of GLUT1 was observed mainly to the surface of the outer trophoblasts, whereas GLUT3 mainly localized to the basal site of the inner trophoblasts and fetal blood vessels. These results suggest that glucose is transported through GLUT1 from the maternal blood stream for use as a placental fuel and for further transport through GLUT3 to the fetal circulation, thus signifying the distinct anatomical localization of GLUT1 and GLUT3 in the rabbit placenta during successful pregnancy. 相似文献

The 4 long-term experimental plots (Umbric haplaquept) with different fertilizer treatment at Cent. Agric. Exp. Sta. in Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture, were used for the sites of investigation. The 4 plots were NF (applied with no fertilizer), IF (applied with inorganic fertilizers), GM (applied with green manure and CaCO2), and OM (applied with manure and inorganic fertilizers). Flooded water, floating weed, upper (0-2cm) and lower (2-10cm) parts of Apg horizon and rhizosphere were collected from each plot before flooding, during flooding, and after drainage. These samples were analyzed for N2-fixing activity by acetylene reduction method, pH, Eh, and contents of Fe2+, NH4 +, chlorophyll-type compounds, and water-soluble carbohydrates. The N2-fixing activity of all samples showed almost the same pattern of change with time: very low before flooding, rapidly increased after flooding, the maximum value at the maximum tillering stage of rice plant, declined afterwards and reached a very low value after drainage. Rough estimation of the “N2-fixing capacity” of each part of the paddy field revealed that the most important site of the N2 fixation was the reduced Apg horizon, that the importance of flooded water and/or the oxidized layer in the N2 fixation was rather low except in infertile soil, and that the role of rhizosphere in the N2 fixation could not be neglected also in Japan. Reduced condition and content of easily decomposable organic substances were judged to be main factors which control the N2-fixing activity in the flooded soil on the basis of correlations between the Nt-fixing activity and several analytical data of the paddy soils. 相似文献

A coagulopathy with subcutaneous bleeding and muscular or peritracheal/periesophageal bleeding occurred in two male Japanese Brown calves of the same dam. One of the affected calves died three days after the onset of bleeding and the other survived normally until being slaughtered despite once suffering from subcutaneous hematoma. Hemostatic tests of the latter case showed prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), and severely reduced factor VIII activity. In addition, von Willebrand factor activity, determined by the human platelet aggregation test, was within the normal range; therefore, the calf was diagnosed with hemophilia A. These are the first bovine cases of hemophilia A definitely diagnosed clinicopathologically. 相似文献

The relay intercropping system for cultivating direct-seeding rice and winter cereal is a low-cost method particularly for double cropping, because it eliminates the steps of raising seedlings, paddling, and transplanting. However, in this system, the seedling establishment rate (SER) of rice is low and unstable. The objective of this study was to identify the factors affecting SER to highlight the ways to improve SER. Experiments were conducted in experimental fields in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture in 2015 and 2016. To determine the time of rice seed death and to calculate seed survival rates, ‘Akidawara’ seeds were embedded in soil (depth: 3 cm) and dug up after defined periods. We then analyzed the correlation between SER and meteorological factors at two sites (Ibaraki Prefecture and Gunma Prefecture) over the same two years. Based on mean air temperature (MT), we divided the period from seeding to June 20 (when irrigation had been initiated in almost all the fields) into four phases. In Phase 1, the number of days with rainfall (≥5 mm) and soil-wetting days (water potential ≥ ?100 kPa) were significantly and negatively correlated with SER. We found that most of the seed deaths occurred after germination, and the germination rates were presumably affected by water absorption during the low temperature phase. Further investigations are needed to understand the occurrences during the seedling emergence period. The fungus Phellinus noxius has a broad host range and causes brown root rot in a variety of tree species of various ages, irrespective of their original health. The fungus is widely distributed in tropical countries of Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands and Australia, Central America and Caribbean, and Africa. Since 1988, when brown root rot was first found on Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture, the disease has been reported on several islands in Okinawa and Kagoshima Prefectures, and it has been causing serious problems to shade, windbreak, ornamental and landscape trees in the Ryukyu Islands, located in the subtropical region of southern Japan. Here, we report on the current status of P. noxius‐caused brown root rot in the Ryukyu Islands, Japan, including symptoms, occurrence, dispersal, distribution and host tree species of the disease, pathogenicity and/or virulence of the pathogen, and disease management based on our surveys and previously published reports from Japan. Brown root rot has been confirmed in 53 tree species from 32 plant families at different sites on 10 of the 12 islands surveyed. Among the 53 tree species, 34 were first recorded in Japan as host plants of P. noxius. The disease occurs mainly in shade, ornamental and windbreak trees at sightseeing places, parks, roadsides, agricultural land such as sugar cane fields, and around residences or other places associated with human activities. 相似文献

A measurement system, which consisted of a CCD laser displacement sensor and two pulse stages, was constructed to obtain three-dimensional
(3-D) surface data of Citrus fruit. Fruits of 58 species of three specimens each were measured. By expanding the data measured in a series of spherical
harmonic functions, a set of expansion coefficients to characterize the object shape was obtained. The data was normalized
to make the coefficients be independent of the x- and y-coordinates of the object. To summarize the information about shape
contained in the62 coefficients, a principal component analysis of the standardized spherical harmonic coefficients of each
fruit was made. The contribution of each of the first seven principal components was found to exceed that of a single variable.
The first three principal components had a cumulative contribution of 0.823.Analysis of variance showed that the variance
due to between-species as tested against the variance due to within-species was significant for the 1st,2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7thcomponent score and the volume. A scatter diagram of the 1st and 2nd principal components failed to group the species studied.

A field trial of salad oil application for the induction of male flower browning ofCryptomeria japonica was conducted. The browning effect of salad oil applied from a helicopter was found to vary from clone to clone depending
on the earliness of male flower development. When applied at the flower initiation stage, salad oil turned male flowers to
a brown color; when applied later, the browning effect of salad oil was not clear. The effectiveness of the application depended
on how close to the time of flower initiation it occurred. The harmful changes caused by salad oil solution were only observed
on the leaves of Japanese plume-grass (Miscanthus sinensis), and no other effects on other plants were observed.
