Effect of moxonidine hydrochloride on left ventricular hypertrophy in spontaneously hypertensive rats

AIM:To investate the effect of domestric moxonidine hydrochloride on myocardium fibrosis and coronary artery microvascular structure in left ventricular hypertrophy of spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHR).METHODS:30 male SHR, aged 20 weeks, were divided into group Mox+SHR, Cap+SHR and SHR randomly (10 in each group). 10 age and sex-mached sprauge-dawley rats were designed as normal control(NC). At the end of 13 weeks, left ventricular wight/body weight ratio(LVW/BW), collagen volume fraction(CVF) and standardized perivascular collagen area(PVCA) as well as intramyocardial arterial average medial thickness (AMT) were determined.RESULTS:LVW/BW, CVF, PVCA and AMT in group Mox+SHR were lower significantly than that in group SHR, respectively.CONCLUSION:Long-term antihypertensive treatment with moxonidine hydrochloride reduces myocardium fibrosis and improves impaired coronary artery microvascular structure in left ventricular hypertrophy.     

Cloning of p15INK4b related gene CCRG and expression analysis in the renal carcinoma

AIM and METHODS:To analysis the factor that involved in renal carcinogenesis, we used the bait gene AK001518 to screen GenBank. To understand the relationship between cell cycle related gene(CCRG) and p15, we did RT-PCR and Northern Blot experiments. Then we examined CCRG expression level in renal carcinogenesis. RESULTS:Gained a function unknown gene CCRG that was 67% a mino acid identical with the gene AK001518 that was regulated by p15. It was shown that the CCRG mRNA was dramatically decreased when p15 gene was over-expressed. CCRG expression level was much higher in tumor tissues and cells than normal tissues and cells. CONCLUSION:The novel gene CCRG expressed highly in the renal carcinoma, which might play a significant role in the renal carcinogenesis.     

Expression and role of CD134 and NF-κB in renal tissue of lupus nephritis

AIM:To investigate the role of CD134 (OX40) and NF-κB in the pathogenesis of lupus nephritis (LN).METHODS:Renal in situ CD134 and NF-κB expression were examined in 40 biopsy specimens from LN patients by immunohistochemistry and microwave-based immunohistochemistry, respectively. The relationship between expression of CD134 and NF-κB was analyzed.RESULTS:The expression of glomerular and tubular CD134 and NF-κB in LN were higher than that in normal control, especially in class Ⅳ LN, where there was intense staining of endothelial cell, distal tubules, and interstitial mononuclear cell. The CD134 expression of glomerular and tubular was closely related to NF-κB expression, respectively (r=0.5542, P＜0.05;r=0.6279, P＜0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The abnormal expression of costimulatory molecule CD134 was well evidenced in LN. Strong expression of renal in situ NF-κB was likely mediated by CD134 signal pathway, which may play an important role in the pathogenesis of LN.

Expression of undulin in experimental rat liver fibrosis

AIM: To observe the expression of undulin (Un) in liver tissue and to clarify the diagnostic significance of serum Un in experimental rat liver fibrosis. METHODS: Rat liver fibrosis was induced by carbon tetrachloride. The expression of Un in liver tissue was detected by immunohistochemical method. Serum Un levels was measured by enzyme immunoassay. RESULTS: Expression of Un increased in fibrotic liver than normal liver, and it was mainly distributed in portal tract stroma, central veins and fibrotic septa in fibrotic liver. Also, the level of serum Un was significantly higher in fibrotic liver than normal liver. CONCLUSION: These data suggest that Un should be a component of the hepatic extracellar matrix, and its expression could be increased greatly in fibrotic rat liver. Serum Un levels may be used as an indicator in liver fibrosis diagnosis.     

优质牦牛肉肉质的综合评价

2000-2002年对大通牛场40头6月龄不同性别的全哺乳牦牛的肉质进行了综合评价。对供试牦牛肌肉pH、嫩度、肌纤维细度、系水率、肉的贮存损失、肉的煮熟时间、熟肉率和烹饪损失率及肉色等进行了评价，分析了肌肉的化学成分，氨基酸及微量元素含量。结果表明该牦牛肉系水率强，肉的煮熟时间短，肉的贮存损失及烹饪损失较小，肌纤维较细，肉色深红。并具有蛋白质含量高，脂肪含量低及富含各种氨基酸的特点。     

二棘血蜱叮咬中华硬蜱纯化抗原免疫接种宿主后的交叉免疫反应

选用中华硬蜱105kD柱层析纯化抗原对新西兰兔进行免疫接种,再用二棘血蜱进行叮咬,并与单纯二棘血蜱叮咬组和佐剂对照组进行对比,以探讨不同种属硬蜱之间的交叉免疫抗性。结果显示:单纯二棘血蜱叮咬组吸血量为181 3±44 3mg,而二棘血蜱叮咬由中华硬蜱105kD纯化抗原免疫接种组和佐剂对照组新西兰兔后其吸血量分别为102 1±25 3mg和168 5±40 9mg,纯化抗原免疫接种组较单纯二棘血蜱叮咬组和佐剂对照组吸血量分别下降43 7%和39 4%(P<0 01)。同时,纯化抗原免疫接种组也较单纯二棘血蜱叮咬组和佐剂对照组产卵量有显著下降。该研究结果表明中华硬蜱和二棘血蜱之间存在着交叉免疫反应。     

光氮互作对草地早熟禾碳氮代谢的影响

以草地早熟禾的3个品种为试验材料,研究了高低光照下不同的施氮水平对植株体内碳氮代谢的影响。对可溶性糖和硝酸还原酶的含量测定结果显示:高低光强下早熟禾的氮素同化能力均随着氮水平的升高呈现先升高后降低的趋势,碳代谢的中间产物可溶性糖随着氮水平的升高呈现先降低后升高的趋势,高低光下糖的含量随着氮水平的升高其品种间差异逐渐减小;在低氮条件下,植物的氮素同化能力较弱,光合碳代谢相对较强,糖含量较高,随着氮水平的增大,光合产物逐渐流向氮素代谢,硝酸还原酶含量升高。     

光照和褪黑激素对内蒙古绒山羊氮分配的影响

从氮分配的角度研究了光照和褪黑激素对内蒙古白绒山羊营养分配的影响。结果表明:光照时间和埋植褪黑激素显著影响绒山羊体内氮物质分配,短光照或埋植褪黑激素显著提高绒山羊血液中的褪黑激素水平,并使其他相关激素如催乳素(PRL)、胰岛素(INS)、类胰岛素生长因子-I(IGF-I)、瘦素(LEP)的含量发生显著变化,结果使毛绒氮的沉积增加,体氮的沉积减少。短光照条件下毛绒氮和体氮的沉积分别为33.7%±0.64%和66.3%±0.64%;而长光照条件下则减少毛绒氮的分配量,增加体氮分配量,毛绒氮和体氮的沉积分别为23.6%±0.46%和76.4%±0.46%。短光照和褪黑激素之间有强烈的互作效应,短光照埋植褪黑激素组毛绒氮和体氮的分配比例分别为36.1%±0.79%和63.9%±0.79%。试验期绒山羊的产绒量平均增加(338.83±72)g,比普通绒山羊提高73.86%,新生羊绒的品质符合纺织工业标准的要求。
