The effects of dietary soya bean trypsin inhibitor (SBTI) and of the daily injection of pure CCK or porcine intedstinal extract have been studied on the rat pancreas. The following parameters were measured: weight, DNA, RNA, trypsin, chymotrypsin, amylase, lipase, insulin and glucagon. The effects of dietary SBTI on the level of gastrin in the antrum have also been studied. Oral SBTI and i.p. CCK caused similar hypertrophy and hyperplasia but not the same activities of the enzymes. It is suggested that SBTI stimulates the secretion of at least two gastro-intestinal hormones: CCK and gastrin.  相似文献

Films forming solutions composed of Amaranth (Amaranthus cruentus) flour (4.0 g/100 mL), stearic acid (5-15 g/100 g of flour), and glycerol (25-35 g/100 g of flour) were prepared by an emulsification process, with varying stirring speed values (6640-13360 rpm). The influence of these parameters (stearic acid and glycerol concentrations and stirring speed) on the water vapor barrier and mechanical properties of films was evaluated using the response surface methodology (RSM). Other characterizations, including microstructure, water solubility, and oxygen permeability, were performed in optimized films. According to statistical analysis results, the optimized conditions corresponded to 10 g of stearic acid/100 g of flour, 26 g of glycerol/100 g of flour, and a stirring speed of 12 000 rpm. The films produced under these conditions exhibited superior mechanical properties (2.5 N puncture force, 2.6 MPa tensile strength, and 148% elongation at break) in comparison to those of other protein and polysaccharide composite films, low solubility (15.2%), and optimal barrier properties (WVP of 8.9 x 10(- 11) g m(- 1) s(- 1) Pa(- 1) and oxygen permeability of 2.36 x 10(- 13) cm3 m(-1) s(-1) Pa(-1)).  相似文献

The effect of Ultraviolet radiation type C (UV-C) radiation (0.100 ± 0.010 J/cm2) on shelf life of Arapaima gigas fillets stored at 4 ± 1°C for 18 days was investigated. The samples were analyzed for total aerobic mesophilic bacteria (TAMB) counts; total aerobic psychrotrophic bacteria (TAPB) counts; Enterobacteriaceae; purge loss; pH; lipid oxidation; total volatile bases (TVB-N); ammonia; biogenic amines (BAs); and L*, a*, and b* values. UV-C radiation increased (< 0.05) the generation time of all bacterial groups evaluated, increasing the shelf life by 2 days. UV-C-treated fillets showed lower (< 0.05) L* values, purge loss, pH, TVB-N, ammonia, and BAs levels than their control counterparts throughout the storage period. Moreover, UV-C treatment did not result (P > 0.05) in detrimental effects on lipid oxidation or a* and b* values. UV-C at 0.100 J/cm2 demonstrated a good potential for use in A. gigas fillets and, therefore, it could be applied at industrial scale.  相似文献

A bilateral patellar agenesis is an extremely rare congenital condition in which the patient does not develop both patellas and can present secondary alterations as bone, muscle and postural changes. There are some hypotheses that it has a genetic background presenting dominant characteristic. It is not yet standardized a gold treatment for this affection, but according to rare reports, clinical and surgical treatments are possible. This is a case report based on imagining exams of a mix breed male puppy that was born with bilateral patellar agenesis, an affection not yet reported in canine species.  相似文献
