试验揭示了杉木无性系在树高、胸径、单株材积和开花结果等方面有巨大的遗传差异。从99个参试无性系中选出了6个优良无性系,与种子园实生苗相比较,树高增益19%-26%,胸径增益17%-34%,单株材积增益50%-114%。分析了杉木家系选择和无性系选择的遗传改良潜力。无性系树高、胸径和单株材积的遗传变异系数分别是家系遗传变异系数的2.6倍、3.1倍和3.1倍。在入选率相同的条件下,无性系树高、胸径和单株材积的选择响应分别是家系选择响应的2.8倍、3.6倍和3.5倍。 相似文献

Advances in molecular, biochemical, and physiological techniques for studying forest soil microbial communities are making it possible to assess the diversity, composition, and functioning of these complex communities. These new approaches avoid the limitations associated with isolating bacteria and fungi in the lab and are based on DNA, membrane phospholipid fatty acids (PLFA), and carbon source utilization. There are, however, limitations associated with these newer methods that need to be appreciated when applying them and interpreting results. Applications of community profiling approaches have advanced our understanding of the functional role of microbial diversity in forest soils, controls on microbial community composition, variability of communities among and within forest ecosystems, and responses to disturbance and forest management activities. Finally, several research directions are identified with potential for greater insight into the link between the microbial community and processes in forest soils. 相似文献

Low temperature is one of the major limiting environmental factors which constitutes the growth, development,productivity and distribution of plants. Over the past several years, the proteins and genes associated with freezing resistance of plants have been widely studied. The recent progress of domestic and foreign research on plant antifreeze proteins and the identification and characterization of plant antifreeze protein genes, especially on expression regulatory mechanism of plant antifreeze proteins are reviewed in this paper. 在长江下游江苏南部沿江宁镇低丘地区研究表明 ,杉木建筑材的主要物理力学性状与木材基本密度紧密相关。木材基本密度在种源、家系、杂交组合子代间有明显的遗传差异 ,而与生长 (材积生长 )无明显的负遗传制约关系。因此 ,可按“生长、材性两个阶段独立选择法”进行生长与材性联合改良。经试验研究 ,选出了亚林 1、亚林 2、林朵 8、林朵 7、林朵 2 5、湘 2等 6个优质高产杉木优良家系 ,它们在 8a时材积比对照 (广西融水种源 )高出 11 4 %~39 8% ,木材基本密度提高了 1 2 9%~ 8 76 % ;选出林朵 19、湘 2等两个生长与对照相近 ,但材质优良的家系 ,木材基本密度比对照高 7 33%~ 10 97%。选出的这些优质高产杉木优良家系可按短轮伐期用材林栽培模式和短轮伐期材、苗 (观赏苗木 )复合栽培模式推广应用 ,能获得较高的经济效益 相似文献

Phenotypically selected individuals, to be used in a breeding program, and randomly selected individuals of white spruce (Picea glauca Moench Voss) were sampled from nine stands within a breeding region to document impacts of early domestication in a wild species. Needles from both selected and random samples were surveyed for electrophoretically detectable genic variation at twelve different enzyme systems. Average heterozygosity (0.172) was comparable to geographically broader surveys of this species. Although a large number of unique and rare alleles were observed, only 0.7% of the variations was attributable to the among-stand component. No changes in genotypic structure were associated with phenotypic selection using this set of molecular markers. Because of this lack of association, the isozymes could serve as an independent set of neutral variables to monitor variation. Allele frequency and heterozygosity were not significantly different in the selected versus random populations. There were, however, differences between the two population samples when measures of allelic richness were contrasted. Only 75% of the alleles were represented in the selected population. Implications of these changes on the utility of phenotypically selected populations as gene conservation samples, and their representativeness as breeding populations, are discussed. 相似文献
