The reduction of herbicide applications is a main research priority in recent years. One way to achieve this goal is by using adjuvants that can increase the efficacy of foliar‐applied herbicides by reducing surface tension. Previous studies have shown that the surface tension of distilled water decreases under the influence of a magnetic field. In order to compare the effects of a magnetic field and Frigate in clodinafop‐propargyl and cycloxydim in controlling wild oat and evaluating the surface tension, a dose–response greenhouse experiment was conducted by using 0, 8, 16, 32, 48, and 64 g ai ha?1 of clodinafop‐propargyl and 0, 15, 30, 60, 90, and 120 g ai ha?1 of cycloxydim with Frigate and/or by passing them through a magnetic field. The magnetic field and Frigate caused a significant reduction in the surface tension of the herbicide solutions. But, Frigate was more effective in reducing the surface tension of the herbicide solutions, compared with the magnetic field. The magnetic field and Frigate increased the efficacy of clodinafop‐propargyl and cycloxydim remarkably. Frigate increased the efficacy of the herbicides more than did the magnetic field. The magnetic field and Frigate collectively had more of an effect on the herbicides' efficacy than when they were applied individually. The magnetic field and Frigate were more effective in increasing the efficacy of clodinafop‐propargyl than that of cycloxydim.  相似文献

Littleseed canarygrass (~canarygrass) evolved populations that are resistant to isoproturon during the early 1990s in north‐western India. Clodinafop‐propargyl (~clodinafop) was recommended for controlling these populations. It has been used extensively in wheat for the last several years. Recently, poor or no control of canarygrass by clodinafop has been observed in large areas, which could be related to cross‐resistance or multiple resistance. This study was designed to test whether resistance has evolved in canarygrass populations against clodinafop and to explore control of the resistant populations with sulfosulfuron and pinoxaden. Among the 311 canarygrass populations that were tested, 86, 55 and 34 showed variable phytotoxicity (0–99%) due to 0.030, 0.060 and 0.120 kg ha?1 clodinafop, respectively. Based on the resistance index, 11 populations were “highly resistant”, 60 were “resistant” and the rest (240) were “susceptible” to clodinafop. Five and six clodinafop‐resistant populations showed slight resistance to 0.0125 kg ha?1 sulfosulfuron and 0.025 kg ha?1 pinoxaden, respectively. But, sulfosulfuron at 0.025 and 0.050 kg ha?1 and pinoxaden at 0.050 and 0.100 kg ha?1 controlled all the canarygrass populations. Clodinafop used for 4 years increased the chance of resistance evolving, whereas its rotation with sulfosulfuron reduced the chance of resistance evolving. This study showed that considerable canarygrass populations have evolved a low‐to‐high degree of resistance against clodinafop. The further use of clodinafop would lead to the spread of resistance in larger areas through the dispersal of resistant seeds. Clodinafop should be replaced with 0.025 kg ha?1 sulfosulfuron or 0.050 kg ha?1 pinoxaden. Besides, where canarygrass has not evolved resistance, the yearly rotation of sulfosulfuron with clodanafop or pinoxaden might delay the evolution of resistance.  相似文献

A field trials programme was conducted in which the performance of a new emulsifiable concentrate formulation (ECI) of flamprop-M-isopropyl containing the adjuvant, ‘Dobanol’ 25-7, in a ratio of 2:1 (by weight) with the AI, was compared with the current commercial formulation of ‘Commando’, in combination with its recommended adjuvant, ‘Swirl’, for the control of wild oat (Avena fatua L.) in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). A further treatment, in which the ‘Dobanol’ 25-7: AI ratio was increased to 4:1 by the spray tank addition of the former, was also included. The mean results from six trials (five wheat, one barley) showed that the addition of ‘Swirl’ to ‘Commando’ was beneficial, increasing wild oat floret control from a mean value of 80% to 92% at current recommended rates (flamprop-M-isopropyl, 600 g ha?1; ‘Swirl’, 2.5 litre ha?1). However, combinations of flamprop-M-isopropyl and ‘Dobanol’ 25-7 gave superior levels of control even at lower AI application rates. For example, a mean level of 96% control of Avena spp. was obtained at 300 g AI ha?1 with 1200 g ha?1 ‘Dobanol’ 25–7; with even better control at higher rates of application of both components. This improvement in performance was accompanied by a higher risk of crop phytotoxicity than observed with the ‘Commando’/‘Swirl’ mixtures. Symptoms initially were scorch and subsequently growth depression, particularly of tillers. None of the mean values in the six ‘efficacy’ trials reached commercially unacceptable levels, but in a further six ‘crop effects’ trials (three wheat, three barley), in which double rates were applied, the levels of phytotoxicity did become unacceptable and subsequently reduced grain yields. In contrast, two barley ‘crop effects’ trials gave yields higher than the control plots, possibly through the effects of reducing stem length and lodging thereby enabling more efficient harvesting. Nevertheless, there were rates of application of flamprop-M-isopropyl in the range 300–400 g ha?1 with ratios of ‘Dobanol’ 25-7 in the range 2:1 to 4:1 that would achieve high levels of control of Avena spp. without undue risk of crop phytotoxicity and further trials are planned to support this new adjuvant system.  相似文献

Surfactants can improve postemergence herbicide efficacy and reduce the amount of herbicide required to obtain weed control. The effect of surfactants on the efficacy of herbicides is complicated and depends on the interaction among the plant, surfactant, and herbicide. The effects of surfactants on the efficacy of clodinafop‐propargyl and/or tribenuron‐methyl on wild oat (Avena ludoviciana) and wild mustard (Sinapis arvensis) under greenhouse conditions were investigated. In addition, the surface tension of aqueous solutions of the surfactants and surfactants + herbicides was determined. Significantly lower surface tension values were obtained with the aqueous solutions of citofrigate (Citogate plus Frigate) alone and with the herbicides used in this study. The citofrigate surfactant lead to the greatest enhancement of clodinafop‐propargyl and/or tribenuron‐methyl efficacy and the effect was species‐dependent. The efficacy of clodinafop‐propargyl and/or tribenuron‐methyl in the presence of surfactants in controlling wild oat was higher than for wild mustard. The foliar activity of the tested herbicides rose with increasing surfactant concentrations. The tank mixture of clodinafop‐propargyl and tribenuron‐methyl showed a synergistic effect in controlling wild oat and wild mustard. The synergistic effect in controlling wild mustard was greater than for wild oat.  相似文献

The effects of adjuvants on the performance of a dispersible concentrate formulation (DCI) of a novel powdery mildew fungicide, 1-(4-chlorobenzyl)-4-phenylpiperidine (I) were investigated. The method involved assessment, under glasshouse conditions, of the therapeutic (curative) control of infections of powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis DC f.sp. hordei Marchal) on barley (Hordeum vulgare, L.) eight to nine days after spray application to plants that had been inoculated one day prior to spraying. The results from the first trial showed that marked improvements (∽five-fold) in the performance of DCI could be obtained by the spray tank addition of some types of surfactant adjuvants and a series of further trials investigating a wide range of adjuvants was conducted. Nonylphenol, alkylamine and alcohol ethoxylates varying in mean ethylene oxide content between 5 and 20 moles were highly effective. There were indications that optimum performance enhancements were obtained with these surfactants containing between 5 and 10 moles ethylene oxide. Lower enhancements, sometimes only marginal, were obtained from trisiloxane, phosphate ester, propylene oxide, alkylamine-propylene oxide and castor oil ethoxylates and also alkyl polyglucoside biosurfactants. Negligible adjuvant enhancements were observed with emulsifiable paraffinic/naphthenic and rape seed oils, though slightly better enhancements were seen with an emulsifiable transmethylated rape seed oil and, interestingly, larger enhancements with an emulsifiable lipophilic alcohol. A final trial identified the alcohol ethoxylate, ‘Dobanol’ 91-6, as the most effective adjuvant and that its optimum application rate under glasshouse conditions was 250 g ha-1. 为提高农药沉积率,利用黏度计、表面张力仪、药液润湿性测试卡、激光粒度仪测定不同喷雾助剂添加量对蒸馏水溶液性质的影响,并分析喷雾助剂及施液量对水稻冠层不同位置雾滴沉积密度、沉积量以及有效沉积率的影响。结果表明,添加喷雾助剂对蒸馏水溶液的性质有显著影响,与蒸馏水相比,当添加喷雾助剂为0.5%和1.0%时,雾滴体积中径变为108.9、98.7μm,表面张力降低64.7%、64.9%,黏度增加为2.3、2.3 m Pa·s,铺展系数为蒸馏水的74.5、58.5倍,能有效促进雾滴铺展并避免药液流失;植保无人机喷施试验结果显示,增加施液量可显著提高雾滴沉积密度,添加喷雾助剂可以显著提高雾滴沉积量以及有效沉积率,当施药量为13.5 L/hm~2且添加1.0%喷雾助剂时,雾滴在水稻冠层的有效沉积率最大,为48.9%。  相似文献

为减少植保无人机施药过程中的雾滴飘移,提高农药有效沉积率,选用多旋翼植保无人机探讨喷头类型和添加迈飞助剂对10%溴氰虫酰胺可分散油悬浮剂喷雾雾滴的沉积分布及其防治水稻二化螟Chilo suppressalis效果的影响。结果表明:IDK120-01型喷头+1.0%迈飞助剂处理在水稻冠层、中层、底层的雾滴体积中径DV50均显著高于其他处理,在冠层的单位面积沉积量和农药有效沉积率分别为1.57 μg/cm2和63.89%,也均显著高于其他处理,且单位面积沉积量以冠层最高,中层次之,底层最低;喷头与助剂互作对防飘移率的影响显著,IDK120-01型喷头+1.0%迈飞助剂处理的防飘移率为76.08%,显著高于其他处理,该条件下喷施10%溴氰虫酰胺可分散油悬浮剂对二化螟的防治效果可达74.58%,水稻理论产量为8 905.80 kg/hm2,均显著高于其他处理。表明在溴氰虫酰胺药液中添加1.0%迈飞助剂,采用IDK120-01型喷头进行植保无人机喷洒作业防治水稻二化螟时,能有效减少雾滴飘移,增加单位面积沉积量及农药有效沉积率,提升对二化螟的防治效果。  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to determine the incidence and the level of resistance to bromadiolone among rats on farms suspected of being foci of resistance by using the international normalised ratio (INR)‐based blood clotting response (BCR) test. Whether the level of reduced susceptibility constitutes ‘practical resistance’ was subsequently determined in field trials. RESULTS: The 2.5 multiple of the ED50 baseline was used to test for the incidence of resistance, and higher multiples in the range of the suspected resistance factor were used to investigate the degree of resistance. The ED50 values of bromadiolone in resistant rats were confirmed in the range 4.70–7.05 mg kg?1 for males and 4.62–6.61 mg kg?1 for females. Variations within these ranges appeared between farms. According to the BCR resistance tests, 50–100% of rats were classified as resistant prior to the field trials; 29–100% of rats survived the treatments. CONCLUSION: BCR tests based on the use of the INR and baselines are suitable for determining the incidence and for assessing the level of resistance in populations of Norway rats. The majority of rats of the Westphalian resistant strain, characterised by the Y139C marker in VKOR, are resistant to bromadiolone under practical control conditions. BACKGROUND: Insect growth regulators are promising alternatives to traditional pesticides in stored grain. The efficacy of the juvenile hormone analogue methoprene was evaluated as a layer treatment in a laboratory experiment for control of Rhyzopertha dominica (F.) (Coleoptera: Bostrychidae) in wheat, rice and maize. RESULTS: Adults of R. dominica were placed in vials containing 33, 26 and 29 g (to a depth of 6.5 cm) of wheat, rice and maize, respectively, that was entirely or partially treated with 1, 5 or 10 mg kg?1 methoprene. In wheat and rice, the layer treatments were not as effective as the whole‐grain treatment, but there was decreased progeny production as the application rate increased. However, on maize the partial treatments were as effective as the whole‐grain treatment at 5 and 10 mg kg?1. CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that partial layer treatments with methoprene can be used to control R. dominica on maize but may not be effective for control of this species on wheat and rice. The use of hydrogenated rapeseed oil as a carrier for conidia of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana (Bals) Vuill was investigated as part of a research programme on the control of the larger grain borer, Prostephanus truncatus (Horn). Melting the oil, which is solid at temperatures below 32 °C, allows the incorporation of materials such as aggregation pheromones and conidia; sudden cooling produces solid fat pellets. In attraction tests conducted with pellets containing P truncatus aggregation pheromone, significantly higher numbers of beetles were attracted to pellets containing pheromone at a concentration of 4 ml litre−1 compared to control pellets for at least four weeks when held in Petri dishes in the laboratory and for at least six weeks when pellets held in insect traps were exposed to outside conditions. The attraction was retained over a period of storage in glass bottles; pellets stored in the freezer or incubator (at −10 °C or 27 °C) attracted beetles according to the pheromone level for the duration of the work (14 and 13 months respectively). When pheromones and conidia were incorporated into the same pellets they could be stored in a freezer or refrigerator retaining over 80% viability after 51 weeks; those stored in an incubator at 27 °C showed significantly lower germination at 20.7–27.2% after the same time. There was an indication that the pheromone caused a slight reduction in the viability of conidia, although this may have been just a slight delay in the speed of germination. Rapid dose transfer from pellets with conidia with and without the addition of pheromone was demonstrated. Insects were exposed to pellets for 24 hours and 96–100% mortality was observed in treatments containing conidia within six days of exposure. © 1999 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

研究了豆饼粉、泥碳土、木屑、KCl和尿素按不同配比制成的4种配方的存活基质对生防菌ANIT-8098A在室内的保存、田间防效和土壤定殖能力的影响。试验结果表明:用8.0%豆饼粉、46.0%泥炭土、40.0%木屑、5.0%KCl、1.0%尿素制成的生防菌制剂ANIT-3号存活基质对生防菌ANIT-8098A室内保存效果最好,经90 d后保存率仍高达83.33%;生防菌制剂ANIT-3号在田间对茄子青枯病的防效最高,达100.00%;生防菌制剂ANIT-3号对生防菌ANTI-8098A在土壤中定殖力的促进效果也最高,药后40 d定殖率为11.2%。  相似文献

Samples were collected from southern Greece during 1996–2000 in order to investigate the presence of parasitoids onAphis gossypii Glover infesting several citrus species. The species of aphidiines found to have a significantly different preference forA. gossypii wereAphidius colemani Viereck,Aphidius matricariae Haliday,Diaeretiella rapae (M’Intosh),Ephedrus persicae Froggat,Lysiphlebus testaceipes (Cresson),Binodoxys acalephae (Marshall) andBinodoxys angelicae (Haliday). In another sampling experiment, the relative abundance of aphidiine parasitoids on aphids infesting orange and tangerine trees was studied in southern Greece (Nea Kios) in 1996 and 1997.A. gossypii constituted the largest part of the aphid population and was the only species parasitized.B. angelicae andA. colemani were the most abundant parasitoid species. The parasitization rate differed among the parasitoid species.B. angelicae had the highest colonization rate in centrally located and large host (A. gossypii) groups, whereasA. colemani was found in more isolated and relatively small host groups. The percentage of parasitism byB. angelicae was high mainly in large host groups, whenB. angelicae was the only parasitoid present. The effect of single, binary, and tertiary combination of few plant derived molluscicides alone or in combination with synergist on different enzymes (acetylcholinesterase—AChE, lactic dehydrogenase—LDH, and acid/alkaline phosphatase—ACP/ALP in the nervous tissue of the freshwater snail Lymnaea acuminata were studied. Sublethal in vivo 24 h exposure to 40 and 80% of LC50 of Azadirachta indica oil (AI), oleoresin of Zingiber officinale (OL), Cedrus deodara oil (CD), Allium sativum (AS), and Polianthes tuberosa (PT) bulb powder singly, their binary combination of AI + OL, AS + CD, AS + PT, CD + OL, CD + PT, OL + PT, and tertiary combination of these binary combinations with the synergist piperonyl butoxide (PB) or MGK-264 significantly altered the activity of these enzymes. Tertiary combination with PB or MGK was very effective. Combination of CD + PT + MGK was more effective against AChE whereas, the combination of CD + OL + PB, CD + AS + PB, and CD + PT + PB were more effective against LDH, ACP, and ALP, respectively.  相似文献
