A number of commercially available disinfectants are commonly used on pig breeding farms and are authorised by the French Agricultural Ministry. However, the efficacy of these disinfectants is unknown with regard to the emergent porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). The virucidal efficacy of nine disinfectants was evaluated by testing a suspension of PCV2 isolated in France. The assays were performed at 20 degrees C and the efficacy determined after 30 min contact time between virus and disinfectant. After this time, the mixture was passed through a detoxification column and then diluted to remove compounds toxic to the virus and the porcine kidney cell line. The filtrate was serially diluted and inoculated onto cell culture. The infectivity of PCV2 was determined by an immunoperoxidase monolayer assay. No reduction in PCV2 titre was demonstrated with iodine and phenolic products. Significant PCV2 titre reductions (1.61 log(10)) were noted for the seven other products. For five disinfectants, namely a product composed of potassium monopersulfate, two products comprising a quaternary ammonium with one or three aldehyde(s), sodium hypochlorite, and sodium hydroxide, the concentration that significantly reduced the PCV2 titre was equal or 1.5-4 times lower than the authorised use concentration. Only two disinfectants, one composed of potassium monopersulfate, the other containing peracetic acid with hydrogen peroxide, reduced the PCV2 titre with a product concentration at best equal or two times higher than the authorised use concentration. 相似文献

Thirty-five commonly used commercial disinfectants (disinfectants, antiseptics, sanitizers, and detergents) were evaluated for their virucidal activity against three feline viruses; feline viral rhinotracheitis virus (a herpesvirus), feline calicivirus, and feline panleukopenia virus (a parvovirus). Disinfectants were diluted as recommended by the manufacturer and were reacted with virus for 10 minutes at room temperature. Viruses were separated from disinfectants by gel filtration in special centrifuge tubes, and were assayed for infectivity in feline cell cultures. All 22 products tested were virucidal for feline viral rhinotracheitis virus, 11 of 35 were virucidal for feline calicivirus, but only 3 of 27 tested were effective against feline panleukopenia virus. A 0.175% sodium hypochlorite solution was the most effective and practical broad-spectrum virucidal product used alone or in combination with other disinfectants/detergents. 相似文献

采用Klein-Defors悬浮杀灭与感染试验方法,研究“卫可”、“卫康”两种消毒剂在不同浓度下,分别与流感H51N1和H9N2亚型病毒作用5min和10min,对流感病毒的灭活作用。结果表明:这两种消毒剂在相同或不同的浓度范围内。对病毒的杀灭率是有区别的。尽管每种消毒剂在本身稀释浓度范围内都有较好的杀毒效果,但在应用中也应考虑其他因素的影响。因此,我们推荐使用该消毒剂的工作浓度为100%杀灭病毒的稀释度。这将为其临床应用提供依据,对环境消毒和防止流感爆发具有参考价值。 相似文献

为了考察戊二醛苯扎溴铵溶液、复方戊二醛溶液2种消毒剂对猪舍自然菌的现场消毒效果,参考中华人民共和国农业部《兽用消毒剂技术规范》(1992年版),采用戊二醛苯扎溴铵溶液100倍稀释、复方戊二醛溶液150倍稀释,通过擦拭法进行消毒前后表面菌落计数,计算杀菌率,判定其现场消毒效果。结果显示:戊二醛苯扎溴铵溶液100倍稀释,复方戊二醛溶液150倍稀释时,与猪舍自然菌作用60 min,杀菌率达96.45%以上。结果表明:2种消毒剂对猪舍自然菌消毒效果相当,戊二醛苯扎溴铵溶液可以推广使用。 相似文献

为了验证以二氯异氰尿酸钠为主要成分的粉状消毒剂的杀菌效果。采用种蛋检测方法进行试验观察。结果低湿度时,二氯异氰尿酸钠按照0.4、0.6、0.8、1 g/m~33熏蒸消毒30、60、120 min,对种蛋表面细菌杀灭率为73.49、77.23、77.72、74.90、77.23、91.72、70.55、89.20、68.54%和84.36、80.12、89.16%。高湿度时,二氯异氰尿酸钠按照0.4、0.6、0.8、1 g/m~3熏蒸消毒30,60,120 min,对种蛋表面细菌杀灭率为81.33、91.25、84.65、84.74、91.15、69.53、91.25、93.87、78.48、91.27、94.17%和72.18%。表明湿度高对消毒剂杀菌效果有积极影响,该消毒剂杀菌效果好且使用方便。 相似文献

Solutions of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)-Tris showed synergistic or additive effects on gram-negative bacteria when combined with hatchery disinfectants consisting of phenol and detergent (Magnaphen-100), quaternary ammonium compound (QAC) and glutaraldehyde (Synergize), QAC (BioSentry 904), and hydrogen peroxide. The gram-positive bacteria reacted less favorably, with reaction mixtures showing all three levels of potentiation (synergistie, additive, and antagonistic). Combinations of EDTA-Tris and a commercial glutaraldehyde solution (Glutracide), when mixed with the test organisms, showed mostly antagonistic effects. Solutions of EDTA-Tris decreased the concentration of hatchery disinfectants required for bacterial killing by 75% in those situations in which synergistic potentiation occurred. EDTA-Tris is nontoxic to 12-day-old embryos. Serial passage of the test organisms in solutions of EDTA-Tris did not result in the development of resistant forms. 相似文献

This study evaluated the virucidal efficacy of acidic electrolyzed water (AEW) against African swine fever virus (ASFV) and avian influenza virus (AIV), according to the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (APQA) guidelines for efficacy testing of veterinary disinfectants. AEW (pH 5.0–6.5) was prepared using a commercially available “Electrolyzed Water Generator” with a free chlorine concentration (FCC) of 5–140 ppm, and its efficiency in reducing the titer of ASFV and AIV was tested in a suspension under low- and high-level organic soiling. Under low-level organic soiling conditions, AEW with FCC ≥40 ppm was effective against ASFV; under high-level organic soiling conditions, AEW with FCC ≥80 ppm was effective against ASFV. Under low-level organic soiling conditions, AEW with FCC ≥60 ppm was effective against AIV; under high-level organic soiling conditions, AEW with FCC ≥100 ppm was effective against AIV. The virucidal effect of AEW seemed dependent on the FCC and the presence of organic soiling. Based on these data, we recommend the following minimum FCCs in AEW treatment for routine disinfection in veterinary field under low- and high-level organic soiling conditions: for ASFV, 50 ppm and 100 ppm; and for AIV, 75 ppm and 125 ppm, respectively. In conclusion, the virucidal effects of AEW against ASFV and AIV emphasize its potential utility as a disinfectant, and we suggest considering organic soiling conditions while using AEW for implementing effective control measures for field applications. 相似文献

The comparative efficacy of 16 active compounds (including the most commonly used chemical groups) and 10 commercial formulations against Haemophilus parasuis serovars 1 and 5 was studied. These organisms were tested in suspension and carrier tests in the presence and absence of serum as representative of organic matter. Chloramine-T and half of the formulations from commercial sources (most of them including quaternary ammonium compounds) were effective in both in vitro tests, regardless of the presence or absence of organic load. All 26 disinfectants except for an iodophor (0.1% available iodine) resulted in at least 3-log10 reduction in colony-forming units in suspension test, and most of them resulted in the maximal level of detection (>6-log10 reduction). On the other hand, disinfectants were not as effective in carrier test as in suspension test, and the presence of serum considerably reduced the activities of most of the compounds tested, especially in carrier test. These results suggest the importance of selecting suitable disinfection for routine use on surfaces contaminated with H. parasuis, particularly when organic matter is present. Chloramine-T and formulations 2 and 7–10 are recommended for a complete inactivation of H. parasuis in swine herds. 相似文献

After the eradication of variola in 1980, the smallpox vaccination was considered to be no longer required and was subsequently abandoned mainly because of possible adverse effects of vaccinia virus especially in first‐time vaccinees. Despite a growing number of humans without immunity against vaccinia virus, vaccinia virus Lister Elstree (VACV) is still prescribed for testing virucidal efficacy of chemical disinfectants in the guidelines of the German Veterinary Medical Society [Deutsche Veterinärmedizinische Gesellschaft (DVG)], the German Association for the Control of Virus Diseases [Deutsche Vereinigung zur Bekämpfung der Viruskrankheiten (DVV)] and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). To evaluate a possible substitution of VACV, with the attenuated modified vaccinia virus Ankara (MVA) the virucidal efficacy of four different DVG‐listed commercially available chemical disinfectants representing different groups of chemicals was tested against these two viruses. Quantitative suspension tests and qualitative carrier tests with poplar wood and gauze were performed. Distinction of VACV and MVA was confirmed by cytopathogenic effects, such as differences in plaque morphology. No significant difference in disinfection efficacy between VACV and MVA was observed for any of the disinfectants tested. Implying that vaccinia virus poses a risk after inadvertent inoculation, our results show that MVA, which does not replicate in humans, should replace VACV in the chemical disinfectant testing guidelines. 相似文献

Prophylactic efficacy of 4 antibacterial shampoos against Staphylococcus intermedius in dogs was determined by use of a controlled quantitative technique. Ten adult Beagles were used in the study. The antibacterial agents in the shampoos were 3.0% benzoyl peroxide, 0.5% chlorhexidine acetate, 1.0% available iodine as a polyalkyleneglycol-iodine complex, and a combination of 0.5% triclosan, 2.0% sulfur, and 2.0% salicylic acid. Treated and control sites were challenge exposed with 5.30 +/- 0.10 (log10) S intermedius colony-forming units (CFU)/cm2 of skin and occluded for 5 hours. At the end of the test period, remaining bacteria were removed with a detergent cup-scrub technique and the total number of S intermedius CFU/cm2 skin was calculated for each treated and control site. Nontreated bacteria-challenged control sites yielded 5.62 +/- 0.65 S intermedius CFU/cm2 of skin. Staphylococcus intermedius recovery (CFU/cm2) from the treated sites was 0.94 +/- 0.76 for benzoyl peroxide, 1.96 +/- 1.33 for chlorhexidine acetate, 3.11 +/- 0.48 for organic iodine, and 4.69 +/- 0.23 for triclosan-sulfur-salicylic acid. Each S intermedius recovery value from the 4 treated sites was significantly (P less than 0.05) lower than that from the nontreated S intermedius challenge-exposed control site. Bacteria recovery values were also significantly (P less than 0.05) different among the 4 shampoo-treated sites. We concluded that all shampoos had significant (P less than 0.05) prophylactic activity against S intermedius over 5 hours. The shampoo containing benzoyl peroxide was determined to have the greatest efficacy among the products tested. 相似文献
