The effects of N‐carbamylglutamate (NCG) on growth, intestinal enzyme activities, immunological and antioxidant parameters were evaluated by a 56‐d feeding trial in Pelteobagrus fulvidraco fed diets containing NCG with 0, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,000 mg/kg, respectively. The results showed that 250 mg/kg of NCG resulted in significantly higher weight gain, intestine fold height, intestine lipase, serum lysozyme, glutathione peroxidase and total antioxidant capacity than control (p < 0.05). However, higher intestine trypsin, arginase, arginine decarboxylase, ornithine decarboxylase, diamine oxidase activities and serum nitric oxide content were observed in 500 mg/kg NCG group compared to control or 2,000 mg/kg (p < 0.05). The survival rate, intestine muscular layer thickness, serum lysozyme and superoxide dismutase activities in 2,000 mg/kg NCG group were significantly lower than those in control and 250 mg/kg group, accompanied by the higher feed conversion ratio in the same group (p < 0.05). Together, dietary NCG level at 250 or 500 mg/kg improved growth, intestinal enzyme activities, immunological and antioxidant abilities, while high NCG level of 2,000 mg/kg had a negative effect. Quadratic regression analysis on weigh growth, diamine oxidase and lysozyme activities indicated that the recommended optimum dietary NCG level was 213.48–314.50 mg/kg of the dry diet.  相似文献

An 88‐day experiment was conducted in a flowing system to evaluate the effects of dietary vitamin C on growth, body composition, antioxidant and gonad development of on‐growing gibel carp. Triplicate tanks of gibel carp (77.2 ± 0.1 g) were randomly fed with one of seven experimental diets containing l ‐ascorbic acid of 0, 101.1, 188.5, 313.1, 444.1, 582.1 and 747.0 mg/kg, respectively. The results showed that specific growth rate (SGR) and feed efficiency (FE) of fish were not affected by dietary l ‐ascorbic acid. Dietary l ‐ascorbic acid of 444.1 mg/kg diet led to low levels (p < .05) of gonadosomatic index (GSI) and hypothalamic gonadotropin‐releasing hormone (GnRH) in on‐growing fish, as well as the early ovarian stages (Developing stages) compared with fish (Maturing stages) from the other groups. Dietary l ‐ascorbic acid supplementation increased (p < .05) the dorsal muscle collagen content, but did not affect the protein or lipid content of dorsal muscle in gibel carp. Plasma total antioxidant capacity (T‐AOC) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity increased (p < .05) and then remained unchanged with the increase in dietary l ‐ascorbic acid levels. Dietary l ‐ascorbic acid of 101.1 mg/kg diet improved (p < .05) plasma lysozyme activity of the fish. Broken‐line regression indicated that dietary l ‐ascorbic acid requirement of 77 g gibel carp was 223.3 or 225.0 mg/kg diet based on plasma T‐AOC or SOD activity, which was a little higher than that based on plasma l ‐ascorbic acid concentration (193.2 mg/kg).  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of dietary lysolecithin on growth performance, feed utilization and metabolic responses of channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus). Fish (initial weight: 14.77 ± 0.45 g) were randomly fed one of five practical diets supplemented with graded levels of lysolecithin (0, 125, 250, 375 and 500 mg/kg) in quadruplicate groups for 10 weeks. Results showed that no significant differences in weight gain, condition factor and viscerosomatic index among all the treatments. Fish fed diet supplemented with 250 mg/kg lysolecithin had significantly decreased feed conversion ratio and significantly increased protein efficiency ratio compared to that fed the control diet. The group with 250 mg/kg of dietary lysolecithin had higher protein and lower lipid contents in the whole body, and lower lipid content in the liver than those in the control group. Groups supplemented with 250–500 mg/kg of dietary lysolecithin had significantly higher gastric and intestinal lipase activities than the control group. Dietary lysolecithin at the level of 250 mg/kg significantly increased the activities of Na+, K+‐ATPase, alkaline phosphatase, total antioxidative capacity, total superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase and significantly decreased the content of malondialdehyde compared to the control diet. In conclusion, dietary supplementation of lysolecithin could confer benefits of feed utilization, body composition and antioxidative capacity of channel catfish.  相似文献

A 75 days experiment was conducted in a flow‐through system on juvenile gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) (3.43 ± 0.01 g) to evaluate the effects of dietary lysozyme on growth performance, intestine morphology, microbiota and immune response. Four isonitrogenous (crude protein: 367 g kg?1) isolipid (62 g kg?1) and isocaloric (gross energy: 17.92 kJ g?1) diets were formulated to contain 0, 100, 500 and 1000 mg kg?1 lysozyme, respectively. The results showed that specific growth rate (SGR) and feed efficiency (FE) increased at 1000 mg kg?1 lysozyme. Blood leucocyte phagocytic activity (PA) and serum lysozyme (LZM) decreased with dietary lysozyme on day 25, 50 and 75. There were no significant differences in alternative complement pathway (ACP), respiratory burst (ROS), serum superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSHpx) or malonaldehyde (MDA). After Aeromonas hydrophilia challenge, higher survival was obtained at 500 mg kg?1 group. PA, ROS, SOD, LZM and ACP increased with increasing dietary lysozyme, while MDA reversed. Goblet cells in mid‐intestine and microvilli height in distal intestine increased with dietary lysozyme on day 75. Dietary lysozyme reduced the diversity of intestine microbiota. In conclusion, oral administration of 500 mg kg?1 dietary lysozyme for 75 days is recommended for the survival of gibel carp and 1000 mg kg?1 dietary lysozyme for fast growth.  相似文献

In this study, effects of grape Vitis vinifera seed oil supplementation (0, 250 mg, 500 mg, 1,000 mg/kg feed) for 60 days on rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss juveniles were investigated. The average final fish weights were not different between the control group and 500 mg/kg feed group (p > .05), but 250 mg/kg feed group were lower than those of the control group, and 1,000 mg/kg feed group were higher than those of the control group. Although the SFA, MUFA and n3 ratios of the control group were higher than that of the other groups, no statistical difference was found. The highest fatty acids in the fish were palmitic acid C 16: 0 in the SFA group and C 18: 1n‐9 and docosahexaenoic acid C 22: 6n‐3 in the PUFA group. The EPA ratio was significantly increased in all groups compared with the control group. The DHA ratio was significantly higher in the control group than in the experimental groups, and there was no difference between the experimental groups. Urea were significantly lower in the 250 mg/kg feed group. Total protein and aspartate aminotransferase were significantly increased in the 1,000 mg/kg feed group. Only the 1,000 mg/kg feed group showed an increase in antioxidant activities, and this concentration also yielded positive results in terms of growth performance, survival rates, fatty acid composition and antioxidant enzyme activities in rainbow trout juvenile and can be used as a natural feed additive.  相似文献

The present study investigated the effects of dietary astaxanthin on the growth, blood biochemical, antioxidant, immune and inflammatory response in lipopolysaccharide‐challenged Channa argus. A total of 0, 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg of astaxanthin were added to the basal die for 56 days. After the feeding experiment, each group was subjected to a lipopolysaccharide challenge (except for the Control group). The results showed that adding astaxanthin to the diet can significantly increase the weight gain and specific growth rate and decrease the feed conversion ratio of C. argus; the highest weight gain, specific growth rate and minimum feed conversion ratio occurred in the 100 mg/kg group. Furthermore, dietary astaxanthin supplementation can alleviate the negative effects of lipopolysaccharides by increasing the levels of alkaline phosphatase, lysozyme, complement 3, complement 4, total serum protein, albumin, globulin, superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase and decrease the serum cortisol, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, glutathione peroxidase, and malondialdehyde. Dietary astaxanthin supplementation also can decrease the relative expression of inflammatory genes (nuclear factor κB, interleukin‐1, interleukin‐8 and tumour necrosis factor‐α) in the liver, spleen, kidney and intestine. To summarise, dietary astaxanthin addition can improve the growth performance and attenuate the negative effects of lipopolysaccharide challenge in C. argus. The optimal amount of astaxanthin is 100 mg/kg.  相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary lysozyme supplementation on growth performance and plasma biochemical parameters of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Graded levels of lysozyme [0 (control), 150, 300, 450 and 600 mg kg?1 diet] were fed to fish (initial average weight 7.76 g) for 10 weeks. Dietary lysozyme supplementation regardless of inclusion level generally improved the growth, feed utilization and nutrient retention, but significant differences were mainly observed between the 450 or 600 mg kg?1 lysozyme group and the control group. Lysozyme supplementation generally decreased the plasma aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activities, but significant difference was only observed in the ALT activity between the 450 mg kg?1 lysozyme group and the control group. In contrast, lysozyme supplementation generally increased the plasma alkaline phosphatase and lysozyme activities, but significant difference was only observed in the lysozyme activity between the 600 mg kg?1 lysozyme group and the control group. Lysozyme supplementation generally increased the plasma antioxidant activities of enzymes (including superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase) and total antioxidant capacity, but decreased the plasma malondialdehyde level. These results suggest that dietary 450–600 mg kg?1 lysozyme inclusion may improve the growth and non‐specific immune response of rainbow trout.  相似文献

在基础饲料中分别添加0 mg/kg、50 mg/kg、100 mg/kg和200 mg/kg的木聚糖酶,饲养初始体重6.71 g左右的异育银鲫(Carassius auratus gibelio)56 d后,研究了木聚糖酶对异育银鲫生长、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和溶菌酶活性的影响。结果表明:添加100 mg/kg木聚糖酶组异育银鲫的增重率和特定生长率最大,显著大于对照组(P<0.05),同时该组异育银鲫的饲料系数最低,显著低于对照组(P<0.05)。添加50 mg/kg和100 mg/kg木聚糖酶可显著提高异育银鲫血清、脾脏、肝胰脏、头肾SOD活性以及血清、头肾、脾脏溶菌酶活性。  相似文献

The current study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary soy isoflavones (SI) on growth performance, antioxidant status, immune response and resistance to Aeromonas hydrophila in juvenile grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella). Six diets were formulated to contain 0 (control), 10, 50, 100, 500 or 1,000 mg SI per kg feed. Each diet was randomly allotted to triplicate net cages, and each net cage was stocked with 30 fish. The fish were fed one of the experimental diets to satiation twice per day for 60 days. The results showed that the WGR and DGC of the 500 mg/kg SI‐supplemented group were significantly higher than those of the non‐SI‐supplemented group (p < .05). Serum LZM and IgM activities in the SI‐supplemented groups were improved compared to the control group. SOD and GSH‐Px levels of fish fed the diet containing 500 mg/kg SI were significantly enhanced compared to those of fish fed the control diet (p < .05). Additionally, serum CAT, GSH‐Px and AKP activities in 50, 100 and 500 mg/kg SI‐supplemented groups were significantly higher than that in the control group (p < .05). The expression of most immune‐related genes (including IFN‐γ2, TNF‐α, M‐CSF2, IL‐6, IL‐12p40 and IL‐4) was significantly affected by dietary supplementation of SI. The group fed with 500 mg/kg SI had the highest 7‐day cumulative survival rate after challenge test (p < .05). The current results revealed that dietary inclusion of SI could improve the immune response and resistance against A. hydrophila and the supplementation level is suggested to be 500 mg/kg diet.  相似文献

A 60‐day growth experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary replacement of fishmeal by Spirulina platensis on growth performance, digestion and physiological parameters in juvenile gibel carp (5.0 ± 1.0 g). Four diets were formulated to replace 0 (SP0), 50% (SP50), 75% (SP75) and 100% (SP100) of dietary fishmeal protein by S. platensis respectively. Other two diets based on SP100 were supplemented with 2% dicalcium phosphate (SP100 + P) or 0.28% coated lysine (SP100 + Lys). The results showed that no significant differences of specific growth rate (SGR), feed efficiency (FE), feeding rate (FR) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) were observed between SP0 group and the replacement groups (SP50, SP75 and SP100). FE and PER of fish‐fed SP100 + Lys diet were significantly higher than the fish‐fed SP100 diet (< .05). Apparent digestibility coefficients (ADCs) of dry matter, protein, energy and phosphorus increased significantly with the increasing S. platensis inclusion. Meanwhile, fish from SP100 + P or SP100 + Lys group had higher ADCs of nutrients compared to the SP100 group (< .05). Compared with SP0 diet, fish‐fed S. platensis diets had higher activities of plasma superoxide dismutase, hepatopancreas total antioxidant capacity, plasma alkaline phosphatase and plasma lysozyme, as well as the lower content of plasma malondialdehyde. The present results indicated that dietary fishmeal could be fully replaced by S. platensis without any negative effects on growth performance of gibel carp. Supplementation of lysine in the S. platensis replacement diet could further improve the feed utilization of gibel carp.  相似文献

Three separate experiments were conducted with juvenile hybrid striped bass to determine the effects of levamisole as a feed supplement on growth performance, innate immunity and specific antibody responses, as well as resistance to Streptococcus iniae and Aeromonas hydrophila infection. A basal diet was formulated to contain 40% protein, 10% lipid and an estimated digestible energy level of 3.5 kcal/g. Four levels (100, 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg) of levamisole were added to the basal diet in place of cellulose. After the 3-week feeding period in feeding trial 1, enhanced weight gain was generally observed in fish fed the diets supplemented with a low level (< 500 mg/kg) of levamisole. Dietary supplementation of levamisole at 100 mg/kg significantly (P < 0.05) enhanced growth and feed efficiency, compared to fish fed the basal diet. Fish fed diet supplemented with 1000 mg levamisole/kg diet showed chronic toxicity signs of inferior growth, reduced feed intake and feed efficiency. Although the extracellular superoxide anion production of head kidney cells, hematocrit, serum lysozyme and peroxidase were not significantly affected by dietary treatments, intracellular superoxide anion production of head kidney macrophages of fish fed 250 mg levamisole/kg diet was significantly (P < 0.05) higher than that of fish fed the other four diets. The hypothesized benefits of dietary supplementation of levamisole in reducing mortality from infection of pathogenic bacteria including S. iniae and A. hydrophila were not proven after two separate 3-week feeding trials and disease challenges in the present study. Agglutinating antibody titers of individual fish were highly varied and not significantly influenced by dietary levamisole at the tested levels.  相似文献

This study evaluated the growth and immune response of gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) cultured under no feed addition biofloc technology (BFT) system at different total suspended solid (TSS) concentrations (10, 300, 600, 800 and 1,000 mg/L for group BF0‐NF, BF300‐NF, BF600‐NF, BF800‐NF and BF1000‐NF) for 30 days. The results demonstrated that bioflocs contained rich nutrients, and gibel carp eaten bioflocs showed higher weight gain, specific growth and survival. Digestive enzyme activities such as pepsin and amylase increased significantly in BF300/600/800/1000‐NF groups than those in BF0‐NF group. Antioxidant response including superoxide dismutase and total antioxidant capacity in serum and skin mucus was also enhanced significantly (< .05). In addition, six immune‐related genes were examined by RT‐qPCR. Compared with BF0‐NF group, expression levels of immune genes intelectin (ITLN), dual specificity phosphatase 1 (DUSP 1), keratin 8 (KRT 8), myeloid‐specific‐peroxidase (MPO), c‐type lysozyme (c‐lys) and interleukin‐11 (IL‐11) were up‐regulated by 78.1‐, 23.9‐, 13.8‐, 138.8‐, 401.8‐ and 91.1‐fold, respectively. The highest expression values were observed at TSS of 600–800 mg/L. This study suggested that bioflocs can be uptaken by gibel carp as a food source, and have a potential to be used as a supplemental food for aquaculture.  相似文献

An 8‐week study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different feeding patterns with dietary Clostridium butyricum supplementation on growth performance, antioxidant and non‐specific immune responses in freshwater prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii (0.39 ± 0.001 g). There were four feeding methodologies: feeding basal diet continuously (P1); feeding diet with 500 mg/kg C. butyricum continuously (P2); feeding diet with 500 mg/kg C. butyricum 5 days after 2 days of basal diet (P3) and feeding diet with 500 mg/kg C. butyricum 2 days after 5 days of basal diet (P4). The results revealed that prawns in P3 had the highest weight gain rate (WGR) and lowest feed conversion ratio (FCR) than the other groups. Haemolymph total protein levels and superoxide dismutase activity increased significantly in P2, P3 and P4 groups, while malondialdehyde content and anti‐superoxide anion levels decreased significantly compared to control. The mRNA expression of intestinal dorsal and Toll in P2 and P3 groups decreased significantly compared to control. Prawns in P3 exhibited improved growth performance, increased antioxidant capacity and enhanced immune function. We concluded that feeding diet with 500 mg/kg C. butyricum for 5 days after 2 days of basal diet was recommended for M. rosenbergii.  相似文献

An 8‐week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of dietary l ‐ascorbic acid (AA) dosages on immunity, growth and survival of the fingerlings of Labeo rohita. AA was supplemented at 0, 100, 200 and 500 mg kg−1 basal diets. Each diet was fed for 8 weeks to duplicate groups of fingerlings of rohu with initial body weight of 35 ± 5 g. Selected biochemical and haematological analyses were evaluated every second week. At the end of the feeding trial of 56 days, fish were divided into two subgroups under each major treatment group for challenge with two pathogens, Aeromonas hydrophila and Edwardsiella tarda. The mortality (%) and agglutinating antibody titre were recorded on 28th day postchallenge. Non‐specific immune parameters like superoxide anion production, lysozyme activity and complement activity increased independently of the levels of AA in the diet. Whereas phagocytic ratio, phagocytic indices, lymphokine production indices and serum bactericidal activity were better in the group of fish fed with 200 mg AA kg−1 feed for 42 days. However, growth parameters such as specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio and survival were better in the group of fish fed with the highest level of AA through feed for 56 days. These data indicated that elevated levels of dietary AA could be recommended for optimum immunity, growth and survival of fingerlings of L. rohita.  相似文献

A 10-week feeding trial aimed to investigate the effects of dietary vitamin C (l -ascorbic acid) on growth, antioxidant activity, and immunity in ricefield eel, Monopterus albus. Six diets were formulated with different levels of vitamin C supplementation (0.1, 17.5, 34.8, 68.6, 139.7, and 278.5 mg/kg). The results indicated that the weight gain (WG) of the M. albus fed the diets with vitamin C was remarkably higher than that of the M. albus fed the control diet (p < .05), and the quadratic analysis showed an optimal vitamin C level of 80.66 mg/kg. Compared with the control group, serum lysozyme activities, the complement pathway, red blood cell counts, white blood cell counts, immunoglobulin M, and phagocytosis percentage were significantly increased (p < .05) in the treatment groups, and superoxide dismutase activity, serum glucose, and malondialdehyde content were significantly decreased (p < .05) in the treatment groups. The challenge trial with Aeromonas hydrophila showed that the M. albus fed the diets with vitamin C had remarkably reduced cumulative mortality compared with those fed the control diet (p < .05), and mortality in the 68.60 mg/kg diet group was the lowest. Based on WG, the optimal vitamin C supplementation level for M. albus was estimated to be 80.66 mg/kg.  相似文献

This study was designed to use sucrose as carbon source to investigate the effect of biofloc technology on water quality and feed utilization in the cultivation of gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio var. CAS III). Three isolipidic and isoenergetic diets were formulated containing graded levels of dietary protein (257.4, 300.7 and 353.4 g/kg). The control group (P34) was fed with 353.4 g/kg protein diet without biofloc. Three biofloc treatments (P24 + B, P29 + B and P34 + B) were fed with the three diets with daily sucrose supplementation and continuous air inflation. The results found that the sucrose supplementation could generate biofloc and increased biofloc volume (BFV,< 0.05). The concentration of total ammonia nitrogen (TAN), nitrate nitrogen (NO3‐N) and the total phosphorus (TP) of all tanks decreased in biofloc groups, and the total nitrogen (TN) of P24 + B treatment tanks was significantly lower than that of the control group (< 0.05). The growth of P24 + B and P29 + B group was similar with that of control group (> 0.05). Feed conversion ratio (FCR) of P29 + B was lower than P24 + B and P34 + B (< 0.05). Protein retention efficiency (PRE) of P24 + B group was significantly higher than other treatments (< 0.05). Phosphorus retention efficiency (PhRE) of P24 + B group was the highest among all treatments. Compared with the control group, P29 + B group had an improved total antioxidant capacity (T‐AOC), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and contained the lowest malondialdehyde level (MDA). The present results indicated that low‐protein diet is more suitable for gibel carp in zero‐water exchange biofloc system compared with high‐protein diet.  相似文献

为探讨斑点叉尾(鮰)免疫应激状态下血浆抗氧化酶和免疫指标的变化,并研究甘草次酸对斑点叉尾(鮰)免疫应激的调控机制,实验设计两组,每组6个重复:1)对照组,饲喂基础饲料;2)GA组,饲喂含0.15 g/kg甘草次酸饲料,养殖8周后,腹腔注射大肠杆菌脂多糖(LPS),分别在注射后0、3、6、12、24、48 h采集血液和肝脏组织,进行红细胞、白细胞计数,分离血浆后检测血浆皮质醇、溶菌酶、ACH50、谷草转氨酶、谷丙转氨酶、碱性磷酸酶活性,肝脏匀浆液检测SOD、MDA和CAT抗氧化酶活性.结果显示,在腹腔注射LPS后,血浆溶菌酶、皮质醇、谷草转氨酶、谷丙转氨酶、ACH50、SOD均呈现先升高后下降的趋势,白细胞计数、血浆CAT呈现先下降后升高的趋势;饲料中添加0.15 g/kg甘草次酸显著抑制了各指标变化,缩短了由LPS诱导产生各指标变化的恢复时间.研究表明,腹腔注射LPS使斑点叉尾(鮰)产生免疫应激,并在注射后6~12h达到顶峰;饲料中添加0.15 g/kg甘草次酸可以有效抑制由LPS诱导的免疫应激反应.  相似文献

The growth response, non‐specific immune activities and disease resistance were measured in sea cucumber, Apostichopus japonicus Selenka (initial average weight 6.80 ± 0.10 g), when fed diets supplemented with graded levels of guanosine from the guanosine‐5’‐monophosphate disodium (GMP) at 0 (control), 0.3, 0.6 and 1.2 g/kg for 8 weeks. The results showed that GMP supplemented at 0.6 and 1.2 g/kg significantly enhanced the growth of sea cucumber. Sea cucumber fed a diet with 0.6 g/kg of GMP had significantly higher intracellular superoxide anion production, nitric oxide synthase activity, lysozyme activity and the total superoxide dismutase (T‐SOD) activity than those in control group (< .05). Increased lysozyme activity and T‐SOD activity were also found in sea cucumber fed GMP at 1.2 g/kg. Moreover, there was significantly lower cumulative mortality after the disease challenge in sea cucumber fed the diets with 0.6 and 1.2 g/kg GMP than that in control and 0.3 g/kg GMP groups (< .05), and no significant difference was observed between 0.6 and 1.2 g/kg GMP groups. These results suggested that feeding GMP at a dose of 0.6 g/kg could enhance growth, non‐specific immunity of sea cucumber as well as its resistance against Vibrio splendidus.  相似文献

Gelatin and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) were often used as binders due to their binding ability. To investigate the effects of gelatin and CMC supplementation on feed quality, intestinal ultrastructure and growth performance of gibel carp, six pelleted feed were formulated: control; supplemented with gelatin (10 g/kg, 30 g/kg and 50 g/kg); and supplemented with CMC (10 g/kg and 30 g/kg). Increased gelatin supplementation levels reduced feed solubility and pellet softening (p < .05) and decreased chemical oxygen demand in the surrounding water after pellets were immersed (p < .05). Increased levels of gelatin supplementation enhanced digesta viscosity and reduced intestinal microvilli length and digestive enzymes activities (chymotrypsin and amylase; p < .05) of fish. Fish‐fed diets supplemented with 30 g/kg gelatin had higher levels of plasma total free amino acids and glucose (p < .05) than fish fed 10 g/kg and 50 g/kg gelatin. Feed supplemented with 10 g/kg CMC were softer than those supplemented with 30 g/kg CMC (p < .05); fish‐fed diets supplemented with 10 g/kg CMC had longer intestinal microvilli (p < .05) than fish fed 30 g/kg CMC. Thus, our results indicated that either gelatin or CMC is applicable to supplement in the feed for improving feed quality and without negative effect on growth performance of gibel carp.  相似文献
