Infiltrative lipoma was diagnosed in 3 dogs. The invasive clinical and benign microscopic characteristics of the lipomas were considered in relation to other adipose tissue tumors. Treatment consisted of wide excision or surgical debulking when tumor margins were indistinct. In spite of the aggressive appearance of the lipoma, its benign nature dictated a conservative course of surgical therapy. Accurate and early diagnosis was needed to ensure adequate excision. The tumor recurred if excision was incomplete.  相似文献

通过组织病理观察对具有明显白底板症状的病鳖进行了组织病理学诊断.结果表明,病鳖胃壁结构较完整,胃腺腺细胞稍肿大,首次在胃贲门和幽门黏膜层发现有大量嗜酸性粒细胞.肠出血严重,前、中肠段均有出血,肠黏膜上皮脱落、坏死;前肠壁各层可见大量含铁血黄素沉着;中肠黏膜层可见大量红细胞渗出,固有膜和黏膜下层血管肿胀,淤积大量血细胞,并可见大量白细胞浸润,严重者结构消失;后肠黏膜层萎缩,肠绒毛缩短,肠壁变薄,其他组织器官未见明显出血.肾小球严重萎缩、坏死,肾小管上皮细胞肿大、变性,并向管腔靠近,甚至与基膜剥离,严重者结构消失.肝细胞肿胀,窦状隙扩张、淤血;脾脏被膜增厚、红髓区白细胞增多,白髓区淋巴细胞减少,大量白细胞变性、坏死,血管管腔及周围有大量红细胞.鉴此,依据病鳖主要病变为肠出血,该病诊断为具有“白底板”症状的中华鳖肠出血病.本研究结果为中华鳖肠出血病的临床诊断提供了理论依据.  相似文献

A 4-year-old, neutered male Maltese presented with a 2-month history of right hemiparesis. The radiographic findings revealed bone lysis, and sclerotic changes in the right section of the fifth and sixth cervical bones with a mild radiolucent mass around the lesion. The magnetic resonance imaging revealed a hyperintense mass located in the region extending from the muscles to the bones and compressing the spinal cord. The mass was removed via a hemilaminectomy in the cervical area using the ventral and dorsal approach, and a histological examination confirmed that it was adipose tissue. An infiltrative lipoma was diagnosed based on these findings. The dog has ambulated normally for 24 months since undergoing surgery.  相似文献

An expansile, yellow, soft mass was observed in the free wall of the right ventricle of a 3-year-old, male, Morgan, horse at necropsy. The mass was composed of well differentiated adipocytes in solid sheets or infiltrating between muscle fibers with associated myofiber degeneration. Solitary benign angiolipoma and infiltrative angiolipoma are rare tumours in dogs. Angiolipomata can be distinguished histologically from lipomata by the large number of tightly packed blood vessels seen between the adipocytes with multiple fibrin thrombi occupying some of the vessels' lumens. The dog presented with a solitary slow-growing mass in the cervical region. Histopathology revealed multifocal to coalescing single or clusters of blood-filled vessels lined by flattened endothelial cells with narrow, elongated, basophilic nuclei. These regions were embedded in adipose tissue with multifocal areas of intervascular remnants of differentiated serous salivary glandular tissue with multifocal small ducts. Fibrin thrombi occupied a few of the vessel lumens. A histological diagnosis of infiltrative angiolipoma was made. On computed tomography, the mass was bilobed with a suspected primary component involving the right parotid gland which was grossly enlarged. The mass had a slightly hypoattenuating mottled to lobulated appearance with a few hyperattenuating mineralised specks throughout. Hounsfield units of the mass ranged between 40 and 45, which was less than the 60-65 of the contralateral salivary glands and cranial musculature. Post contrast images showed no contrast enhancement of 90% of the mass with only a band of peripheral contrast uptake of the affected lateral lobe.  相似文献

Background

Many dogs suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are presented to veterinary clinics. These patients are diagnosed based on a history of chronic gastrointestinal signs and biopsy‐confirmed histopathologic intestinal inflammation. Intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) are part of the first line of defense in the gastrointestinal immune system. Alterations in IEL subsets may play a role in the pathogenesis of IBD.

Hypothesis

The aim of this study was to characterize the phenotypes of IEL in dogs with IBD compared with healthy control dogs.

Animals

Intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes subpopulations of control dogs (n = 5) obtained from endoscopic biopsies (EB) were compared to those obtained from full thickness biopsies (FTB) on the same day. In addition, the phenotypes of IEL from FTB of control dogs (n = 10) were compared with EB of IBD dogs (n = 10). Each participant was scored clinically using the canine inflammatory bowel disease activity index (CIBDAI), and all samples were graded histopathologically. Three‐color flow cytometry of isolated IEL was performed using monoclonal antibodies against T‐ and B‐lymphocyte subpopulations.

Results

No significant differences in the composition of IEL subpopulations were found in control dogs based on method of biopsy. The IBD dogs had significantly higher CIBDAI and histopathologic scores compared with control dogs and their IEL contained a significantly higher frequency TCRγδ T‐cells.

Conclusions and Clinical Importance

Endoscopic biopsies provide suitable samples for 3‐color flow cytometry when studying canine intestinal IEL and IBD patients show significant changes of major T‐cell subsets compared to healthy control dogs.  相似文献

小檗碱是传统中药黄连等植物的主要活性成分,具有抗菌消炎、调节机体免疫等作用,可改善由炎症性肠病(IBD)导致的肠道屏障损伤。小檗碱通过抑制Toll样受体(TLRs)/核转录因子κB(NF⁃κB)、Janus活化激酶(JAK)/信号转导与转录激活子(STAT)信号通路和激活胰岛素样生长因子1(IGF⁃1)/胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白(IGFBPs)信号通路,缓解IBD引起的肠道机械屏障、化学屏障、免疫屏障和微生物屏障功能损伤。本文就小檗碱的来源及理化性质、IBD的病理特征、小檗碱对IBD肠道屏障的修复作用及其信号通路进行综述,以期为畜牧生产中保护动物肠道健康提供参考。  相似文献

A 3-year-old castrated male domestic shorthair cat had renal lymphoma and infiltrative cardiomyopathy, both of which responded to combination chemotherapy. Diagnosis was made on the basis of results of renal biopsy and echocardiography. Cardiac lesions included hypertrophy of the left ventricular free wall and interventricular septum, ventricular hypokinesis, and diminishment of the left ventricular chamber. Cytologic evaluation of pericardial fluid did not contribute to a diagnosis. Combination chemotherapy resulted in rapid improvement of renomegaly and cardiac structure and function. Although it might be assumed that the myocardial infiltration was attributable to metastatic lymphoma, histologic diagnosis of the heart disease was not established.  相似文献

采用复合生物菌给新生仔猪喂服,测定其对肠道三种主要菌群的影响;同时用致病性大肠杆菌攻毒,测定其抗病力。结果表明:复合生物菌能显著地降低仔猪直肠中的大肠杆菌,增加乳酸杆菌、双歧杆菌等有益菌,有效地促进肠道正常菌群的形成,使仔猪下痢的发病率降低87.47%,治疗显效率达100%,对致病性大肠杆菌有很强的拮抗作用。  相似文献
