银狐球虫病的治疗

通过病理剖检和实验室检查，以早期确诊银狐的球虫病，并加以施治，三字球虫粉对该病有较好的疗效。此外，环境卫生也极其重要。     

Hematology and biochemistry reference values for the ranch fox.

Reference hematology and biochemistry values are presented from a mixed population of 30 silver and red foxes of both sexes, reared and living under fox-farming conditions in southern Ontario. Based on history and physical examination, the animals in this study were clinically healthy at the time of blood collection and maintained under similar husbandry practices. The observations were examined for outliers and Gaussian distribution before and after one of three transformations. Parametric analysis was used to determine lower and upper reference limits. Where observations were not Gaussian, minimum and maximum values are given. These reference values are presented as a usable first approximation of population reference values to assist clinicians and researchers in their interpretation of observations obtained from foxes of similar populations.

Comparison between microscopic and automated differential leukocyte counts in the silver fox (Vulpes vulpes) and the blue fox (Alopex lagopus)

Differential leukocyte (WBC) counts in blood from clinically healthy silver foxes (n=32) and blue foxes (n=37) obtained from an automated hematology analyzer (Technicon H*1 Hematology System) with canine software were compared with microscopic differential WBC counts (M-diff). There was good agreement between the automated differential cell count (A-diff) and the M-diff for neutrophil and lymphocyte percentages. The correlation was lower for monocyte percentages and variable for eosinophil percentages. There was no significant difference between the A-diff and M-diff in either fox species. The A-diff counts were very precise, and may be a good alternative to the traditional M-diff for screening populations of clinically healthy foxes or for studies on stress and animal welfare. Intercept values, however, indicated a constant bias that must be taken into account before interpreting results based on different methods of analysis

将200只1d龄雏鸭随机分为2组,攻毒试验组150只,对照组50只,自由采食,预饲7d。8d龄时按100ELD50感染剂量进行雏鸭攻毒,攻毒7d内每日称取体质量并采血分离血清进行生化指标检测。攻毒3d后攻毒组体质量与对照组存在显著差异(P<0.01),攻毒组谷丙转氨酶(ALT)、天门冬氨酸氨基转移酶(AST)、碱性磷酸酶(ALP)、谷氨酰胺转移酶(GGT)、胆碱酯酶(CHE)、肌酸激酶(CK)、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)、肌酐(Cre)、尿酸(UA))等指标各自在不同时间阶段与对照组存在显著差异(P<0.01)。所以雏鸭感染坦布苏病毒后不仅对其生长产生抑制,而且对机体器官尤其是肝脏和肾脏的性能造成影响。以上研究雏鸭感染坦布苏病毒后对其生长性能和血液生化指标的影响,为鸭感染坦布苏病毒的致病机理提供了理论依据。     

Haematology and serum biochemistry in the racing greyhound following intraperitoneal povidone-iodine

Povidone-iodine caused peritonitis with neutrophilic leukocytosis and a minimal left shift at the dosage rate of 3.5 ml/kg body weight. A dosage rate of 2 ml/kg only caused slight neutrophilic leukocytosis. There was a significant increase in the levels of creatinine (p=0.049) and BUN (p=0.020) in dogs that received the higher dose rate. Two dogs died from povidone-iodine toxicity with a marked increase in ALT, AP, SDH and conjugated bilirubin. It is concluded that povidone-iodine is unsafe for use in the peritoneal cavity of dogs.     

Pathogenesis of blue fox parvovirus on blue fox kits and pregnant vixens

To study the pathogenicity of a newly isolated parvovirus of blue fox (Alopex lagopus), pregnant vixens and 43 kits of different ages were experimentally infected with the agent. The kits had no clinical signs of disease, even though most of them excreted virus in their feces, and they responded immunologically to viral exposure. Infection during pregnancy appeared to affect the fetuses. A group of 15 blue fox vixens inoculated with the virus produced a statistically smaller number of kits (78) than did 15 untreated controls (131). Vaccination with a homologous inactivated virus preparation appeared to afford protection against reproductive losses. After infection, 15 vaccinated vixens gave birth to 97 kits, compared with 54 kits born to a similar, non-vaccinated experimental group.     

日粮添加不同水平尿素对山羊生产性能及血液生化指标的影响

选取年龄、体重相近的波尔杂交二代山羊24只,按公母和体重配对随机分成1个对照组和3个试验组,对照组精料不添加尿素,试验组按等能等氮原则分别添加1%、2%或4%的尿素代替精料中的部分或全部豆粕,进行35d的饲养试验。结果表明,在山羊生长过程中,添加1%或2%水平尿素代替饲料中的部分豆粕对山羊的适口性、生长性能、血液学与血液生化指标均没有显著的影响,添加4%水平尿素有明显的毒性作用。结合生产实际,建议在山羊精料中以添加2%水平尿素为宜。     

Hematology and serum biochemistry of free-ranging nutria (Myocastor coypus)

Information on reference blood values in the literature is lacking for many wild rodents. In this study, comprehensive reference intervals (RIs) for a wide range of analytes from 101 healthy free-ranging nutria were determined. Animals were captured in Buenos Aires, Argentina (37degrees 50'S, 57 degrees 34'W), and southward (38 degrees 60'S, 58 degrees 23'W), encompassing major biotopes of agricultural pampas with dunes and grassland steppes on the east coast. Traps were set at locations with high-density nutria populations (i.e., those areas that showed signs of movement, territorial marking, or feeding activities). Although the small sample size limits the interpretation of these findings, RIs were determined by a robust method using the central 95th percentile. In nutria, the RI range varied greatly for the leukocyte differentials, with mature neutrophils: 3,907-5,544/mmicrol for females and 3,744-5,900/microl for males; band neutrophils: 0-10/ll for females and 3-18/microl for males; lymphocytes: 4,213 5,940/microl for both sexes combined; monocytes: 165-402/microl for both sexes combined; eosinophils: 13-91/microl for females and 108-165/microl for males; and basophils: 0-87/microl for both sexes combined. Platelet concentration was 543-727 x 10(9)/L for both sexes combined. There was also a wide RI range for biochemistry values for some enzymes, such as alkaline phosphatase: 200-399 IU/L for both sexes combined; cholinesterase: 762-1,407 IU/L for females and 763-1,284 IU/L for males; creatine kinase: 182-552 IU/L for females and 162-451 IU/L for males; amylase: 853-1,865 IU/L for females and 779-1,293 IU/L for males; and glucose concentration 120.2-180.6 mg/dl for both sexes combined. Conversely, there was not a wide pooled RI range for calcium: 7.0-11.2 mg/dl; phosphorous: 6.1-9.3 mg/dl; sodium: 133.0-159.0 mEq/L; potassium: 3.0-8.2 mEq/L; chloride: 101.4-143.0 mEq/L; and urea: 11.3-36.8 mg/dl. The red blood cell indices had a narrow range, with mean corpuscular volume: 84.0 -102.5 fl and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration: 18.2-28.8 g/dl, and which was most likely due to strict physiologic controls. The results from this study were similar to those previously reported for farmed nutria.     

兰狐和银黑狐免疫球蛋白的提纯与鉴定

采用硫酸铵盐析和Agarose-Protein G亲和层析相结合的方法，从兰狐和银黑狐血清中提取和纯化了免疫球蛋白（IgG），应用SDS-PAGE分析表明：提纯的免疫球蛋白纯度高，重链和轻链的分子量分别为45ku和21ku左右；以犬瘟热病毒（CDV）为包被抗原的间接ELISA试验结果表明：提纯的蛋白免疫小鼠分别制备的抗兰狐和银黑狐免疫球蛋白抗体作为二抗检测CDV阳性血清具有良好的生物活性。本研究制备的高纯度的兰狐和银黑狐免疫球蛋白，对今后狐源CDV等疫病血清流行病学的调查、诊断试剂盒的开发及疫苗免疫效果的评价奠定了基础。     

鸵鸟和鸸鹋血清生化指标参考值研究

鸵鸟血液化学研究较少,并且鸵鸟的血液生化值与鸸鹋的不一致.本研究的目的是:建立鸸鹋的血液生化各指标的参考值范围与鸵鸟的对应指标进行比较,并且分析各指标值受性别与月龄的影响.     

The interpretation of serum biochemistry test results in domestic animals

The interpretation of serum biochemistry tests used in the investigation of disease was reviewed. Different methods of calculating reference ranges for biochemical constituents of serum were discussed. Reference ranges in current laboratory use were analyzed statistically to produce means and coefficients of variation.     

几种添加物对猪乳成分、仔猪生长及部分血液生化指标的影响

选用预产期基本一致的初产长白母猪24头,随机分为4组,每组6头。对照组饲喂基础日粮,其余3组为试验组,分别饲喂基础日粮+大豆黄酮60mg/kg、基础日粮+缬氨酸600mg/kg+大豆黄酮60mg/kg、基础日粮+烟酸铬200μg/kg+大豆黄酮60mg/kg。饲喂两个月后,各组合对初乳成分、仔猪的生产性能和断奶仔猪血液的生理生化反应的影响结果为:①母猪初乳成分的中乳蛋白和乳脂肪、乳糖含量测定结果表明,烟酸铬+大豆黄酮组、大豆黄酮组中乳蛋白含量与对照组相比差异显著(P<0.05),乳脂肪、乳糖含量差异不显著;②与对照组相比,各试验组均可以提高仔猪的初生重、21日龄(P<0.05)和断奶平均个体重(P<0.05),其中以缬氨酸+大豆黄酮组最好;③烟酸铬+大豆黄酮组在高温情况下补铬可以缓解血浆中的甘油三酯、总蛋白和球蛋白下降。而缬氨酸、烟酸铬分别与大豆黄酮共同作用对断奶仔猪血浆中尿素氮、甘油三酯、总蛋白的影响差异不显著。烟酸铬+大豆黄酮组对血浆中碱性磷酸酶的影响显著高于其它各组(P<0.05)。
