Study on the Ecological Restoration Techniques in Coal Mines——A Case Study of Mines in Huainan

Coal mining has brought serious damages to neighboring environment and ecosystem,and degradation of ecological environment has seriously influenced life of neighboring residents and sustainable development of coal industry.Destroyed ecological environment of mines in Huainan,Anhui Province was introduced in this study,ecological restoration principles,methods and procedures of mines were explored.The paper proposed that the harmonious development of economy,society and ecological environment must be considered in the ecological restoration.Combing with current situation of local mining areas,practical eco-restoration technical solutions were given by following ecological restoration principles to realize the sustainable development of mines.     

The Empirical Study of Monetary Transmission Mechanism in China During the Transformed Period

This paper follows the Cointegration Test and Granger Causality Test based on the Vector Auto-regression Model to estimate the impacts of monetary channel and bank-lending channel on macro-economy respectively and investigates the different effects of the two channels on the latter using the OLS during the 1994 - 2002 sample period in which the monetary policy was transformed from being directly-controlled to being indirectly-controlled by the central bank in China. The result shows that the monetary channel and the bank-lending channel are both the important channels of Chinese monetary transmission, while the impact of latter on macro-economy is stronger. So the bank-lending channel plays a dominant role in the monetary transmission in China. Policy implications are made in the conclusion.     

Can the Land Use Master Plan Control Urban Expansion and Protect Farmland in China? A Case Study of Nanjing

Urbanization represents a challenge for plans aimed at controlling urban expansion and protecting farmland, such as the land use master plan (LUMP) instituted by the Chinese national government. This paper studies the effectiveness of such top–down plans under the authoritarian regime through the case study of Nanjing. In contrast to previous studies that compare actual and planned land‐use maps, we compare actual and planned land‐use patterns. We use land‐use change data to examine spatio‐temporal land‐use change between the years 1997 and 2014. The results indicate that the actual amount of urban‐rural built‐up land exceeded planned regulatory amount by 50,185 ha and the total farmland was 70,541 ha less than the target outlined in the LUMP (1997–2010). Based on these results, and the fact that the allowed total urban‐rural built‐up land had already been surpassed in 2014, it is to be expected that the target of farmland protection outlined in the LUMP (2006–2020) will be broken, signaling the ineffectiveness of the plan to control urban expansion and protect farmland. Plan‐led developments (e.g., new towns, development zones) and market forces (e.g., housing market, foreign direct investment) explain these developments. This study indicates that when cities embrace “growth‐led” development and entrepreneurial governance, the ability of plans to control urban expansion and protect farmland is severely limited.

Construction of Ecological City from the Perspective of Ecological Progress—A Case Study of Liaocheng City

Ecological progress is a new stage in the development of human civilization and ecological city is a new city development model under the concept of ecological progress. In this paper, favorable conditions and constraints for constructing an ecological city are analyzed and construction concepts are put forward. It contributes to the construction of Liaocheng into an ecological city and has a referential value for other cities.     

A Study on the Algorithm of Draft-Tube in Computer Graphs Treatment

The geometrical characteristics of high-narrow-type draft tube are analyzed. The algorithm is designed as having the projection before seeking its envelope. A series of detailed graphs are drawn. An excellent condition is created for construction of high-narrow-type draft tube.     

Economic Loss Assessment of Ecological Damage of Land Resources in the Process of Urbanization:A Case Study of Wanzhou District, Chongqing City

With the improvement of urbanization's level, the destroys of land resources become severer and severer, and the expense is huge. According to their features, land resources can be classified as environmental loss, available ecological loss and land restoration costs. By studying the principle and technique of evaluating these three losses, we put forward quantification pattern of ecological loss of land resources. The research of Wanzhou district, Chongqing city indicates that the number of total ecological loss of land resources during the urbanization from 1995 to 2001 is about 344.70 millions yuan, it is 4.70% of GDP in 2001. In the mass, Wanzhou district is not in a sustainable development because the ecological loss of land resources during the urbanization continually increased.     

The faster the better? Economic effects of the speed of inter‐city technology transfer in China

Although existing studies questioned the simple positive correlation between the technology transfer speed and the benefits, they have been widely condemned for lacking empirical evidence. Using the patent transfer data at the city scale in China, and distinguishing fast from slow by dividing technology transfer speed into four levels, this paper attempts to answer the question in terms of city economic growth, which is whether the faster is the better. Panel regression results show that for economic growth of city, the speed of technology transfer does not mean that faster is better. In other words, technology transfer maintaining a relatively rapid speed (more than 1 year and less than 2 years) can promote city economic growth, although the evidence is weak.     

Construction Features of Small Roadside Parks in Tropical Area——A Case Study of Zhanjiang City

Accessibility and flexibility of small roadside parks make them significant transitional spaces in urban landscape environment. Three representative small parks in Zhanjiang City, a typical tropical city in south China, were selected to analyze their location features, spatial processing, demonstration of regional landscapes and recreational characteristics. It was proposed that construction of small roadside parks in tropical area should put human needs on the priority, present regional features of tropical garden landscapes, and focus on inheritance and innovation of regional cultures.     

A Study on the Reduction of Hexavalent Chromium Ion in the Process of Sintering and Ironmaking

The basic principle of using chromium leach residue as melting flux of blast furnace is introduced in this paper.The reduction thermodynamics of Na 2CrO 4 and chromium oxides in the process of sintering and ironmaking is studied,and the simulating experiments in the laboratory and industrial experiments in 600 m 3 blase furnace are carried out.The results of thermodynamical study and experimental study show that hexavalent chromium ion in the burden can be well eliminated in the process of sintering and ironmaking.     

Landscape Improvement Design of Mountainous Scenic Roads Under the Background of“All-for-one tourism”:A Case Study of Scenic Roads of Nanshan in Chongqing

All-for-one tourism emphasizes the transformation of tourism from the original single scenic spot service to traveling on the road,and advocates the guiding destination service of integrating transportation and surrounding scenery sources.As the most abundant carrier of tourism environment,mountainous scenic spots are valued more by the development of natural tourism resources.In addition to the characteristics of scenic spots,how to use scenic roads to create a regional atmosphere has become a focus of tourism construction.Taking scenic roads of Nanshan in Chongqing as an example,this study analyzed the key points of road landscape upgrading under different construction levels,and put forward design strategies from the perspective of regional characteristics and regional cultural elements,so as to effectively enhance the regional landscape characteristics of the roads,with a view to providing reference for relevant planning and design.     

Study of the Correlation between the Transformation of PHB and Denitrifying Phosphorus Absorption in A/ASBR

By the study of the influence of COD concentration on denitrifying phosphor removal of A/ASBR (anaerobic/ aerobic sequence bioreactor), it was shown that the favorable treatment effect had been gained with the COD concentration between 220 and 300mg/l; the higher or lower concentration of COD was unfavorable to the work of the system. In our test, it has been confirmed that the rudimental carbon resource organism and cell depositor PHB deposited in anaerobic stage has a significant influence on the process of denitrifying phosphorous removal. The better correlation has been observed also between the consumption of PHB and denitrifying phosphorous removal when the use of cell depositors PHB as carbon resource is concerned. It indicates that the deoxidization of 2 mg nitrate may accelerate the absorption of 1 mg phosphorous.     

Developmental Application of Roof Greening against the Background of “Sponge City”: A Case Study of Ningbo City

In view of the problems of architectural eco-civilization in Ningbo City against the background of sponge city, this paper proposed that development of roof greening in the city met the development concepts of sponge city, summarized six basic countermeasures and four cooperation mechanisms for the developmental application of roof greening in Ningbo City by analyzing practical experience of roof greening construction in foreign countries.     

A.A. Marcov Forecast Method of the System Ration in Estate Business Study

A. A. Markov Rolling Forecast Method is presented in this paper according to the dynamic characteristics of the estate business system. Test results reveal that the system quantitative forecast could be realized on the basis of previous samples, which provide a direction of the rational management in estate business. Concerning sample molding analysis and Markov Rolling Forecast Method, this paper gives a corresponding conclusion of analytic research quantitatively in order to demonstrate the formation of factors working in estate business activities and its systematic logistic connotation. Markov Rolling Forecast Method can be applied not only to short-term prediction but long term one as well, provided when the market is rather stable with no significant change during a regular period of time and when the rolling times of the state transition matrix are fairly enough.     

Traditional Village Planning under the Theory of Actor Network:A Case Study of Village Planning in the Jingmai Mountain,Pu’er,Yunnan Province

Rural revitalization strategy is an important topic in China.As an important platform for the implementation of the strategy,the preparation of village planning for traditional villages is conducive to coordinating the contradiction between protection and development,and promoting the sustainable development of traditional villages.The traditional villages of the Jingmai Mountain in Pu’er,Yunnan Province are taken as the research objects.The first-hand data are obtained through interviews and field research,and Actor-Network model is used to analyze the actors’ goal and obstacle in preparation of village planning,which better reflects the interests of different actors in village planning process.At the same time,the action path of planning is interpreted through the process of problematisation,interessement,enrolmen,mobislisation and dissidence.In the preparation of village planning for traditional villages,key elements should be paid attention to,such as bridging the cognitive gap,building consensus,setting up participation platform and formulating relevant policy guarantee mechanism,etc.     

Socio‐ecological transformations in a tributary region of the Mekong in Cambodia: Culture of resistance or resistance of culture?

This paper highlights the evolution of the relations between highlanders and lowlanders that took place in one of the Mekong's riparian eastern territories in Ratanakiri province. It contributes to knowledge and debate on the impacts of landscape transformation and dispossession on indigenous peoples and their culture in upland Cambodia. The first section considers the legacy of the past and emphasises successive attempts of resistance. It contributes to an understanding of why highlanders opted to live in a forest milieu, not isolated from outsiders but careful to maintain some distance. The second section delineates the evolution of the interactions between natural ecosystems and social ecosystems in the changing tributary region. The last section documents major changes that have recently occurred under the guise of development. It questions the remaining possibilities for indigenous people to continue living with dignity in a shrunken territory in the present socio‐political environment. The conclusion proposes research orientations focusing on some neglected dimensions of indigenous cultures dealing with new forms of resistances.     

Optimization of Soundscape in Theme Park Based on Soundscape Comfortable Degree——A Case Study of China Dinosaur Land in Changzhou

Tourism soundscape is a new field of tourism landscape research, soundscape designs offer new concepts for the landscape research and development. Taking China Dinosaur Land in Changzhou City for example, visitors' perception about soundscape comfort in theme parks was studied. The researches found that acoustic comfort was infl uenced by objective parameters of sound and subjective perception of visitors, and when the soundscape volume stayed at a certain threshold value, visitors would gain the most satisfi ed acoustic comfort experience, and they were most sensitive to sound elements that able to convey cultural connotations of the theme park. On this basis, this paper adopted positive design, negative design, and zero design, and proposed the concepts of optimizing theme park soundscapes.     

“Place Making”in Urban Complex Design: A Case Study of Tianfu Pearl Design Scheme

This paper introduced basic situation and challenges of Block 9, Dongdajie, Chengdu City, expounded basic definition and design concept of place making, briefed the design scheme from three aspects, namely planning layout, space environment and architectural style, and concluded the application of the idea of place making in Block 9 design scheme in view of the multi-functional urban complex with high plot ratio.
