A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method with in-line connected diode-array (DAD) and electro-array (EC) detection to identify and quantify 17 flavonoids in plant-derived foods is described. Catechins were extracted from the samples using ethyl acetate, and quantification of these compounds was performed with the EC detector. Other flavonoids were quantified with DAD after acid hydrolysis. The methods developed were effective for the determination of catechins and other flavonoids in plant-derived foods. Responses of the detection systems were linear within the range evaluated, 20-200 ng/injection (DAD) and 20-100 ng/injection (EC), with correlation coefficients exceeding 0.999. Coefficient of variation was under 10.5%, and recoveries of flavonoids ranged from 70 to 124%. Purity of the flavonoid peaks was confirmed by combining the spectral and voltammetric data.  相似文献

A new sensitive and selective method has been developed for the quantification of the total coenzyme Q9 (CoQ9) and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) concentration in vegetable oil samples. The coenzyme Q fraction is isolated by solid-phase extraction (SPE) on amino phase eluting with a mixture of heptane:ethyl ether. The organic solvent is evaporated under nitrogen, and the residue is dissolved in a mixture of acetonitrile:tetrahydrofuran and finally is analyzed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with a mass detector. The sensitivity of the method is based on the high efficient formation of the radical anions [M (-.)] of CoQ9 and CoQ10 by negative atmospheric pressure ionization. Interferences are minimized by using mass detection of the [M (-.)] ions ( m/ z = 797.5 for CoQ9 and m/ z = 862.5 for CoQ10) in selective reaction monitoring mode ( m/ z = 797.5 --> m/ z = 779.5 and m/ z = 862.5 --> m/ z = 847.5) using a triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer. The method was successfully applied to sunflower, soybean, and rapeseed oils, with a limit of quantification of 0.025 mg/kg for both compounds.  相似文献

A solid-phase microextraction (SPME) method, coupled to liquid chromatography with diode array UV detection (LC-UV/DAD), for the simultaneous determination of cyclopiazonic acid, mycophenolic acid, tenuazonic acid, and ochratoxin A is described. Chromatographic separation was achieved on a propylamino-bonded silica gel stationary phase using acetonitrile/methanol/ammonium acetate buffer mixture (78:2:20, v/v/v) as mobile phase. SPME adsorption and desorption conditions were optimized using a silica fiber coated with a 60 microm thick polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene film. Estimated limits of detection and limits of quantitation ranged from 3 to 12 ng/mL and from 7 to 29 ng/mL, respectively. The method has been applied to cornflake samples. Samples were subjected to a preliminary short sonication in MeOH/2% KHCO(3) (70:30, v/v); the mixture was evaporated to near dryness and reconstituted in 1.5 mL of 5 mM phosphate buffer (pH 3) for SPME followed by LC-UV/DAD. The overall procedure had recoveries (evaluated on samples spiked at 200 ng/g level) ranging from 74 +/- 4 to 103 +/- 9%. Samples naturally contaminated with cyclopiazonic and tenuazonic acids were found; estimated concentrations were 72 +/- 9 and 25 +/- 6 ng/g, respectively.  相似文献

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has been extensively studied as adjunctive therapy for ischemic heart disease, and its cardioprotective ability is well-established. The mitochondrial respiratory chain contains several coenzymes, including CoQ1, CoQ2, CoQ4, CoQ6, CoQ7, CoQ8, CoQ9, and CoQ10. It is not known whether other CoQs, especially CoQ9, is equally cardioprotective as CoQ10. The present study was designed to determine if CoQ 9 could protect guinea pig hearts from ischemia reperfusion injury. Guinea pigs were randomly divided into three groups: groups I and II were fed CoQ 9 and CoQ10, respectively, for 30 days while group III served as control. After 30 days, the guinea pigs were sacrificed and isolated hearts were perfused via working mode were subjected to 30 min ischemia followed by 2 h of reperfusion. Cardioprotection was assessed by evaluating left ventricular function, ventricular arrhythmias, myocardial infarct size, and cardiomyocyte apoptosis. Samples of hearts were examined for the presence of CoQ9 and CoQ10. The results demonstrated that both CoQ9 and CoQ10 were equally cardioprotective, as evidenced by their abilities to improve left ventricular performance and to reduce myocardial infarct size and cardiomyocyte apoptosis. High performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) analysis revealed that a substantial portion of CoQ9 had been converted into CoQ10. The results indicate that CoQ9 by itself, or after being converted into CoQ10, reduced myocardial ischemia/reperfusion-induced injury.  相似文献

Citreoviridin, a neurotoxic mycotoxin, has been found as a natural contaminant in corn left unharvested in the southeastern United States and in rice of several Asian countries, including Japan. A reliable analytical method for the quantitative determination of citreoviridin in corn and rice is described. Corn or rice is extracted with dichloromethane, and the extract is partially purified on silica and amino solid-phase extraction (SPE) columns. The extract is analyzed for citreoviridin by normal-phase liquid chromatography, using a mobile phase of ethyl acetate-hexane (75 + 25) at 1.5 mL/min and a fluorescence detector to measure the yellow fluorescence (388 nm excitation, 480 nm emission). With a 100 microL injection loop, the relationship between concentration and injection volume is linear for 20-60 microL injections. Recoveries of citreoviridin added to yellow corn at 10-50 ng/g were 91.0-96.9%; recoveries from white corn (10-50 ng/g added) were 96.8-102.8%. Recoveries of 5000 ng/g added to white corn were 89.0%, indicating that heavily contaminated samples can be assayed by the method. Minimum detection limits were 10 ng for citreoviridin standard and 2 ng/g for citreoviridin added to corn. White rice fermented with Penicillium citreo-viride (1524 ppm) was mixed with and serially diluted with uncontaminated ground corn to obtain citreoviridin-contaminated corn (ca 25 ppb). When the samples were assayed by the method, a mean level of 24.4 +/- 1.65 ppb (6.5% coefficient of variation) was obtained. Four fermented rice food samples and 3 commercial rice samples were investigated.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Samples of maize grown in various districts of Taiwan were collected and analyzed for the presence of fumonisin B(1) (FB(1)) and fumonisin B(2) (FB(2)) using high-performance liquid chromatography. Forty-nine (44.5%) and 2 (1.8%) of 110 samples were found to contain FB(1) (109-1148 ng/g) and FB(2) (222-255 ng/g), respectively. The frequency of detection and also the maximum FB(1) concentration were found in samples from Penton (2/2, 262 ng/g), followed by Chiayi (18/26, 264 ng/g), Tainan (8/16, 160 ng/g), Hualinen (5/14, 1148 ng/g), Taitung (7/20, 109 ng/g), and Yunlin (9/26, 361 ng/g). Of the 110 samples examined, only 2 samples from Hualinen had been detected containing FB(2). During an analysis of the distribution pattern of FB(1), it became apparent that >79% of tested samples had FB(1) concentrations <100 ng/g, whereas 2.7% (or 3 samples) contained FB(1) >300 ng/g. These results clearly illustrated that domestically produced maize for human consumption is frequently contaminated with FB(1).  相似文献

A combination of direct analysis in real time (DART) ionization coupled to time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOFMS) and chemometrics was used for animal fat (lard and beef tallow) authentication. This novel instrumentation was employed for rapid profiling of triacylglycerols (TAGs) and polar compounds present in fat samples and their mixtures. Additionally, fat isolated from pork, beef, and pork/beef admixtures was analyzed. Mass spectral records were processed by principal component analysis (PCA) and stepwise linear discriminant analysis (LDA). DART-TOFMS profiles of TAGs were found to be more suitable for the purpose of discrimination among the examined fat types as compared to profiles of polar compounds. The LDA model developed using TAG data enabled not only reliable classification of samples representing neat fats but also detection of admixed lard and tallow at adulteration levels of 5 and 10% (w/w), respectively. The presented approach was also successfully applied to minced meat prepared from pork and beef with comparable fat content. Using the DART-TOFMS TAG profiles of fat isolated from meat mixtures, detection of 10% pork added to beef and vice versa was possible.  相似文献

A multiresidue technique is presented for the extraction and quantitative gas chromatographic screening of 9 insecticides (lindane, heptachlor, aldrin, heptachlor epoxide, p,p'-DDE, dieldrin, endrin, p,p'-TDE, and p,p'-DDT) as residues in beef fat. Beef fat was fortified by adding the 9 insecticides, plus dibutyl chlorendate as internal standard, to 0.5 g portions of beef fat and blending with 2 g C18 (octadecylsilyl)-derivatized silica. The C18/fat matrix blend was fashioned into a column by adding the blend to a 10 mL syringe barrel containing 2 g activated Florisil. The insecticides were then eluted from the column with 8 mL acetonitrile, and a 2 microL portion of the acetonitrile eluate was then directly analyzed by gas chromatography with electron capture detection. Unfortified blank controls were treated similarly. The acetonitrile eluate contained all of the pesticide analytes (31.25-500 ng/g) and was free of interfering co-extractants. Correlation coefficients for the 9 extracted pesticide standard curves (linear regression analysis, n = 5) ranged from 0.9969 (+/- 0.0021) to 0.9999 (+/- 0.0001). Average relative percentage recoveries (85 +/- 3.4% to 102 +/- 5.0%, n = 25 for each insecticide), inter-assay variability (6.0 +/- 1.0% to 14.0 +/- 6.7%, n = 25 for each insecticide), and intra-assay variability (2.5-5.1% n = 5 for each insecticide) indicated that the methodology is acceptable for the extraction, determination, and screening of these residues in beef fat.  相似文献

A gas chromatographic method is described for the determination of deoxynivalenol (DON) and its metabolite DOM-1 in milk. Milk samples were extracted with ethyl acetate on a commercially available disposable extraction column, followed by hexane-acetonitrile partitioning. Final purification was accomplished on a reverse phase C-18 cartridge. The trimethylsilyl ether (TMS) derivatives of DON were prepared, chromatographed on an OV-17 column, and quantitated with an electron capture detector. Chromatography of the TMS derivatives of milk extracts was compared to that of the corresponding heptafluorobutyryl derivatives. The limit of detection using TMS derivatives was 1 ng/mL for both toxins with recoveries averaging 82% +/- 9% at 2.5 and 10 ng/mL milk for DON and 85% +/- 6% at 10 ng/mL for DOM-1.  相似文献

The area cultivated with Artemisia annua for the extraction of the antimalarial compound artemisinin is increasing, but the environmental impact of this cultivation has not yet been studied. A sensitive and robust method using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed for the determination of artemisinin in soil. Dihydroartemisinin and artemether were included in the method, and performance on analytical columns of both traditional C(18) phenyl-hexyl and porous shell particles-based Kinetex types was characterized. The versatility of the method was demonstrated on surface water and groundwater samples and plant extracts. The limit of detection was 55, 30 (25 ng/g soil), and 4 ng/mL for dihydroartemisinin, artemisinin, and artemether, respectively. Method performance was demonstrated using naturally contaminated soil samples from A. annua fields in Kenya. The highest observed concentrations were above EC(10) for lettuce growth. Monitoring of artemisinin in soil with A. annua crop production seems necessary to further understand the impact in the environment.  相似文献

This article presents the generation of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) with high specificity against 19-nortestosterone (NT) through cell fusion techniques and the development of a mAb-based indirect competitive ELISA (icELISA) method and colloidal gold-based immuno-chromatographic assay to detect NT residues in beef and pork samples. A modified carbodiimide method was employed to synthesize the artificial antigen, and BALB/c mice were used to produce anti-NT mAbs. On the basis of the checkerboard titration, an indirect competitive ELISA standard curve was established. This assay was sensitive and had a linear range from 0.03 to 38 ng/mL in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), with IC(50) and LOD values of 0.52 ng/mL and 0.01 ng/mL, respectively. Of all the competitive analogues, the produced mAb exhibited a high cross-reactivity to 17α-nortestosterone (83.6%), the main metabolite of NT in animal tissues. Except for moderate cross-reactivities with trenbolone (22.6%) and β-boldenone (13.8%), the other interference to the assay was negligible (<0.05%). In contrast, the strip test had a visual detection limit of 1 ng/mL in PBS, 2 μg/kg in beef, and 2 μg/kg in pork, respectively, and the results can be judged within 10 min. The ELISA and GC-MS results showed close correlation in beef (R2=0.9945) and in pork (R2=0.9977). Therefore, the combination of two immunoassays provides a useful screening method for quantitative or qualitative detection of NT residues in animal-origin products.  相似文献

Ractopamine hydrochloride is a beta-adrenergic leanness-enhancing agent approved for use in swine in the United States. Depletion of ractopamine and its metabolites from animal tissues, urine, and serum is of interest for the detection of illegal use. The objectives of this study were to measure the residues of ractopamine in swine incurred samples after treatment with dietary ractopamine for 28 consecutive days. An efficient and sensitive analytical method was developed for the detection of parent ractopamine and its metabolites in swine tissues, urine, and serum by HPLC-FLD. After extraction, enzymatic digestion, and solid-phase cleanup of the samples, ractopamine residues were determined by liquid chromatography (LC) with fluorescence detector. The limits of detection (LOD) for tissues, urine, and serum were 1 ng g(-1), 0.5 ng mL(-1), and 0.5 ng mL(-1), respectively. Recoveries ranged from 70.5 to 94.5% for samples fortified at 1-50 ng g(-1) or ng mL(-1). Sixty pigs were fed twice daily for 28 consecutive days with feeds containing 18 mg kg(-1) ractopamine HCl. The residue concentrations in urine, liver, and kidney were 650.06 ng mL(-1), 46.09 ng g(-1), and 169.27 ng g(-1), respectively, compared with those in muscle, fat, and serum (4.94 ng g(-1), 3.28 ng g(-1), and 7.48 ng mL(-1), respectively) at the feeding period of 7 days. The residue concentrations at withdrawal period of 0 days in all edible tissues were lower than tolerance values established by the FDA and MRL values listed by the JECFA. These data support the withdrawal time of 0 days established by the FDA for ractopamine used as feed additive in swine.  相似文献

Monoclonal fumonisin B(1) antibodies with high titer were raised by using FB(1)-glutaraldehyde-keyhole limpet hemocyanin immunogen prepared by a short cross-linker reagent (glutaraldehyde). Mean cross-reactivities of the selected monoclonal antibody for FB(1), FB(2), and FB(3) were 100, 91.8, and 209%, respectively; no reactivity was found with hydrolyzed fumonisin. A direct, competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative determination of FB(1) in cereals has been developed with this antibody. Fifty percent acetonitrile-based solvent with some additives was used for extraction of cereals, and the diluted extracts were used without cleanup in the test. The mean within-assay and interassay coefficients of variation for the standard curve were <10%. The measuring range of this test is 10-500 ng/g, with a detection limit of 7.6 ng/g FB(1). The toxin recovery from cereals infected with 50-200 ng/g of FB(1) varied between 61 and 84%. According to the comparable results of naturally infected maize samples, this test proved to be suitable for the rapid screening of food and feed samples for the presence of FBs.  相似文献

Immunoaffinity supports (IAS) were prepared using broad specific polyclonal anti-sulfonylurea (SU) antibodies immobilized in sol-gel glass. Two different kinds of supports were applied, crushed sol-gel monoliths and sol-gel-coated highly porous silica particles. Both were used for the quantitative enrichment of SUs in natural water and food samples followed by high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet/diode array detection (HPLC-UV/DAD) and tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), respectively. Loading, washing, and elution conditions of IAS were optimized. The capacity of supports was determined for 30 SUs and compared with the cross-reactivity pattern of the direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The capacities correlated well with the affinity to individual SU compounds. Even analytes to which the polyclonal antibodies showed only a lower cross-reactivity could be enriched to a certain degree, if a sufficient capacity of IAS was provided. The IAS could be reused at least 10 times without a loss of effectiveness. Recovery of 16 selected SUs extracted from spiked water and food samples was dependent on the affinity of both immobilized antibodies to single compounds and matrix interferences. In water, 13 SUs showed recoveries higher than 80% when immunoaffinity extraction was used in combination with LC-UV/DAD. On the basis of the enrichment of 200 mL of aqueous sample, corresponding limit of detection (LOD) values ranged between 20 and 100 ng/L. The recoveries of 10 SUs, which were extracted from 10 g of potato spiked at a 10 microg/kg level, were higher than 75%. For grain samples, recoveries were at the same order for at least five SU herbicides. The LOD of LC-MS/MS measurements was about 1 order of magnitude higher, i.e., gave LODs between 1.1 and 6.9 microg/kg of food sample, depending on the compound and extraction procedure. These LODs provide evidence that the main advantage of the prepared IAS is their high selectivity for group specific recognition of SUs as compared to other nonspecific solid phase extraction materials.  相似文献

A gas chromatographic-electron capture detection method for determining the concentration of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) as Aroclor 1254 (AR 1254) in serum was evaluated through a 2-phase collaborative study. In Phase I, each collaborator's lot of Woelm silica gel (70-150 mesh) was evaluated for elution and recovery of AR 1254, which had been added in vitro at 25 ng/mL to a serum extract. In Phase II, each collaborator analyzed a series of bovine serum samples that contained the following: (1) in vitro-spiked AR 1254; (2) in vivo AR 1254 and 8 in vitro-spiked chlorinated hydrocarbons; (3) in vivo AR 1254 only; (4) 8 in vitro-spiked chlorinated hydrocarbons only; and (5) neither AR 1254 nor chlorinated hydrocarbons above the detection limit of the method. In Phase I, the average recovery of AR 1254 from silica gel for the 6 collaborators was 87.9 +/- 15.44% (mean +/- 1 SD; N = 18; range = 52.3-105.8%). In Phase II, the analysis of in vitro spikes of AR 1254 in serum at 8.58, 16.8, 41.8, and 84.3 ppb gave mean (means) interlaboratory recoveries of 89.0, 83.3, 79.4, and 76.9%, respectively, with within-laboratory (repeatability) relative standard deviations (RSDr) of 18.8, 20.5, 10.2, and 14.1%, respectively, and among-laboratory (reproducibility) relative standard deviations (RSDR) of 21.5, 21.1, 14.6, and 20.8%, respectively. The determination of in vivo AR 1254 in samples containing approximately 10, 25, 50, and 100 ng/mL of AR 1254 resulted in interlaboratory means of 10, 22, 39, and 79 ng/mL, respectively, with RSDr = 6.7, 9.7, 6.4, and 5.8%, respectively, and RSDR = 20.6, 16.0, 10.9, and 10.3%, respectively. The precision of the method for incurred AR 1254 showed a maximum RSDr of less than 10% and a maximum RSDR of less than 21% for a concentration range of 10-100 ng/mL. The accuracy of the method as demonstrated by the mean recovery of in vitro-spiked AR 1254 over a concentration range of 8.58-843 ng/mL was 82.2%. The method has been approved interim official first action.  相似文献

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods for the determination of phenyl urea herbicides in water are described. The target compounds include chlortoluron, diuron, fluometuron, isoproturon, linuron, metobromuron, metoxuron, monuron, neburon, and siduron. Water was subjected to solid phase extraction (SPE) using either automated SPE with 47 mm C(18) Empore disks or on-line precolumn concentration. Herbicides were separated on a C(18) reversed phase column with an acetonitile-water gradient and were detected with either a diode array detector (DAD) or a postcolumn photolysis and derivatization (PPD) detector system. Photolysis converted the phenyl ureas to monoalkylamines that were derivatized to fluorescent isoindoles by reaction with o-phthalaldehyde and 2-mercaptoethanol. The DAD monitoring at 245 nm was linear over three decades with instrument detection limits of approximately 0.01 mg/L. SPE efficiency was between 48 and 70% in laboratory reagent water, but use of the internal standard quantitation method improved accuracy. High total dissolved solids and total organic carbon values in surface water improved recoveries relative to laboratory reagent water for all of the phenyl ureas. In Colorado River water spiked at 1 or 50 microg/L, mean recoveries ranged from 74 to 104%. Method detection limits (MDLs) ranged from 4 to 40 ng/L (parts per trillion) with the DAD instrument. PPD detection was highly specific but resulted in a slight loss in chromatographic efficiency and average MDLs approximately 5 times higher using a single set of detection conditions. The study indicates that methods based on SPE followed by HPLC with diode array or PPD detection have practical utility for trace analysis of phenyl ureas in drinking water or surface waters.  相似文献

The analysis of free riboflavin (RF) and its two coenzymes, flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin-adenine dinucleotide (FAD), is optimized using reversed phase liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. The stationary phase was amide-based and endcapped with trimethylsilyl, and the isocratic mobile phase consisted of a 10:90 v/v acetonitrile/phosphate buffer (pH 5). Peaks were identified by the retention characteristics and fluorescence spectra. Detection limits were 0.03, 0.05, and 0.24 ng for RF, FMN, and FAD, respectively. The vitamins were extracted using acetonitrile and the phosphate buffer. The procedure was applied to the determination of B2 vitamers in different types of food such as milk and soy-based infant formulas, beer, fruit juices, and honey of different types. Most B2 vitamin appeared as RF, while the coenzymes were present in lower amounts. The method was validated using two certified reference materials, and results within the certified range were obtained.  相似文献

Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin B (SEB) is a highly heat resistant enteric toxin with a potential as a biothreat agent. A sensitive method for the detection of staphylococcal enterotoxins is needed for food safety and food defense monitoring. The objectives of this research were to develop a competitive fluorescent immunoassay with detection of SEB below toxic levels of 1 ng/mL and to minimize sample preparation. Anti-SEB was immobilized onto carboxylated polystyrene microparticles, and SEB was labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). The concentrations of these reagents were optimized for the detection of SEB below 1 part per billion (1 ng/mL), and other assay conditions (sample volumes and incubation periods) were optimized. Drinking water and milk samples were spiked with 0.125-10 ng/mL SEB and were equilibrated overnight prior to analysis. The water and milk samples were directly analyzed, but heating the milk samples for 10 min at 90 degrees C improved the assay performance. SEB in samples bound with the anti-SEB linked to the latex followed by the competitive binding of SEB-FITC tracer. The excess, unbound tracer was separated by centrifugation, and the fluorescence density of the supernatant was measured. SEB was detected at levels as low as 0.125 ng/mL in drinking water and 0.5 ng/mL in whole milk. This fluorescent latex particle immunoassay will be utilized for the detection of SEB in various foods matrices.  相似文献

A highly selective and sensitive method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 12 sulfonamides in beef and milk by immunoaffinity chromatography purification coupled to ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The MS/MS conditions, UPLC mobile phase, injection solution, sample purification process, and matrix effect were studied to optimize the operating conditions. The limits of detection (LODs) of the instrument for the studied sulfonamides ranged from 0.4 to 2.0 μg L(-1), being 1.6-8.0 μg kg(-1) for beef and 1.8-6.4 μg kg(-1) for milk. The standard solution was diluted with blank beef or milk matrix for the construction of calibration curves, which had a linear range from 10 to 200 μg kg(-1) and regression coefficients higher than 0.990 (n=10) for all the studied sulfonamides. Samples spiked at 10, 20, and 100 μg kg(-1) showed recoveries above 70% and relative standard deviations below 10%.  相似文献

The preventive effect of Thea sinensis melanin (TSM) against overdoses of N-acetyl-p-aminophenol (NAPAP) was studied on ICR mice. Animals were given 400 mg/kg intraperitoneally (i.p.) of NAPAP, and TSM was injected i.p. in doses 10-40 mg/kg 2 h before intoxication. The protective effects were evidenced by a complete blockage of the NAPAP-induced elevation of plasma alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity, decreased concentration of thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) to the control level, and a partial prevention of reduced glutathione (GSH) depletion in the liver tissue. Preadministration of TSM also caused restoration of superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and resumed content of coenzymes Q9 and Q10. TSM by itself, however, did not affect the hepatic functional parameters, including serum ALT, TBARS, GSH, SOD, or coenzymes Q in the liver. Administration of TSM caused a dose-dependent inhibition of N-nitrosodimethylamine demethylase activity with ED50 of 15.8 mg/kg. Activities of ethoxyresorufin O-dealkylase and pentoxyresorufin O-alkylase isozymes were changed insignificantly. The immune suppressive effect of NAPAP on the in vivo antibody-forming cell responses was demonstrated using ICR-sensitized mice with sheep red blood cells. The joint effect of TSM and NAPAP indicated the capability of TSM to recover immunity of the animals to the level of intact mice. Results obtained demonstrate that TSM preadministration can prevent the multiple toxic effects of NAPAP.  相似文献
