Constituents of the leaves of Holarrhena pubescens

The leaves of Holarrhena pubescens yielded a new naringenin glycoside (1), together with naringin, naringenin 7-O-beta-D-glucoside, lupeol, lupeol beta-hydroxyhexadecanoate and ursolic acid. The structure of 1 was determined by spectral analysis.     

Constituents from the leaves of Rhododendron latoucheae

Twelve constituents from Rhododendron latoucheae were isolated. Among them, compounds 1 and 2, named rhodolatouside A and B, respectively, are new iridoids.     

紫甘薯花色苷的组分及抗氧化活性研究(英文)

对紫甘薯花色苷的化学成分和抗氧化活性进行了研究.研究采用大孔树脂AB-8纯化紫甘薯花色苷,高效液相色谱-2极管阵列法(HPLC-DAD)分析表明,纯化后的提取物中共含有11种花色苷,其中主要成分为酰化的矢车菊素和芍药素.并测定了紫甘薯总花色苷在DPPH自由基清除体系、超氧阴离子体系、还原力和亚油酸体系的抗氧化活性.在质量浓度均为0.5g/L时,花色苷、L-AA和 BHT的还原力分别为0.572、0.460 和0.121,花色苷的清除DPPH自由基的半数抑制浓度(IC50)和清除超氧阴离子IC50分别为6.94和3.68mg/L,表明花色苷还原能力强,并能有效地清除DPPH自由基和超氧阴离子.此外,紫甘薯花色苷能较好地抑制脂质过氧化.     

Seed mucilage from Ipomoea dasysperma

A non-ionic water-soluble galactomannan, having galactose and mannose in 1:6 molar ratio, was isolated from endosperm of the seeds of Ipomoea dasysperma. The seed mucilage was found to have a structure having a linear chain of beta (1-->4) linked mannopyranosyl units with D-galactose side chains attached through alpha (1-->6) linkage to the main chain. I. dasysperma seed gum possesses non-ionic characteristics of commercial seed gums and has potential to be used in food and pharmaceutical industries.     

Diastereomers of lithospermic acid and lithospermic acid B from Monarda fistulosa and Lithospermum erythrorhizon

Monardic acids A (1) and B (2), which are (7R,8R) diastereomers of lithospermic acid (LA) and lithospermic acid B, respectively, were isolated from Monarda fistulosa. A (7S,8R) isomer (3) of LA was also isolated from this plant, and a (7R,8S) isomer (7) of LA was obtained from Lithospermum erythrorhizon. The absolute configuration of 1 was confirmed by analysis of its hydrolysates, 7-epiblechnic acid and 2R-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxypropanoic acid. The configuration in the dihydrobenzofuran moieties of 2, 3, and 7 was extrapolated by using the phenylglycine methyl ester method and a Cotton effect at approximately 250–260 nm in their electronic circular dichroism spectra. Diastereomers (1–3 and 7) displayed moderate hyaluronidase inhibitory and histamine release inhibitory activities.     

红薯果脯加工新方法

红薯营养十分丰富,其中钙的含量尤为突出。但红薯中钙磷比离人体吸收模式较远,不利于人体对钙磷的吸收。在原有红薯果脯加工工艺的基础上,对如何进行磷强化作了进一步的研究。结果表明:用0.15%～0.20%的Ca(OH)2对果脯进行硬化较果较好;KH2PO4用量为0.06%时果脯成品中钙磷比接近1∶1;以0.2%左右柠檬酸用量作酸处理较适宜,其成品颜色、口感较佳。

五爪金龙(Ipomoea cairica)是旋花科多年生草质藤本植物,原产北美.它生长迅速,攀爬能力强,现已成为我国华南地区仅次于薇甘菊(Mikania micrantha )的草质藤本害草,对广州、深圳及粤东地区的公园绿地、风景林、人工林、果园、茶园、苗圃等造成了极大的危害.文章详细介绍了五爪金龙的形态特征、生物学特性和生态学特征、危害状况以及存在的问题,以期引起人们对该植物足够的警惕,并为有关部门对该植物进行科学有效地防范和治理提供依据.     

A non-ionic water-soluble seed gum from Ipomoea campanulata

A non-ionic water-soluble galactomannan, having galactose and mannose in 2:3 molar ratio was isolated from endosperm of the seeds of Ipomoea campanulata. The seed gum was found to have linear chain of beta (1-->4) linked mannopyranosyl units with D-galactose side chains attached through alpha (1-->6) linkage to the main chain. This structure is similar to many commercial gums like Guar, Carob and Locust bean gum. Various physical properties of the gum were studied in order to explore the possibility of commercial exploitation of the seed gum.     

Constituents of Bowdichia virgilioides

The isolation and (13)C-NMR data of flavone derivatives from Bowdichia virgilioides roots are reported.     

Constituents of Caesalpinia pyramidalis

Two new glycosyl phenylpropenoid acids, 4-O-beta-glucopyranosyloxy-(Z)-7-hydroxycinnamic acid (1) and 4-O-beta-glucopyranosyloxy-(Z)-8-hydroxycinnamic acid (2), besides lupeol and aghatisflavone, were isolated from the leaves of Caesalpinia pyramidalis.     

Constituents of Lagotis yunnanensis

The isolation from the ethanolic extract of Lagotis yunnanensis of the new compound lagotisoside A (1) and of 10 other constituents is reported.     

Constituents of Gnetum montanum

A new stilbene, gnetifolin M (1), was isolated from the lianas of Gnetum montanum, together with seven known compounds, resveratrol (2), gnetol (3), 4', 5,7-trihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavone, beta-sitosterol, daucosterol, ursolic acid, and tetracosanoic acid. The structure of 1 was determined to be 2-(5'-methoxy-3'-hydroxyphenyl)-4-hydroxybenzofuran on the basis of spectroscopic evidence.     

Constituents of Asteracantha longifolia

The isolation of two aliphatic esters and betulin from the aerial parts of Asteracantha longifolia is reported.     

Constituents of Cynara cardunculus

The isolation of (−)-arctigenin (1) and (−)-arctigenin 4′-glucoside from the seeds of Cynara cardunculus, and of hentriacontane and eicosyldocosanoate from the leaves is reported, along with ¹H- and ¹³C-NMR spectra of 1.     

Constituents of Aloe rubroviolacea

The isolation of three C-glycosyl chromones, four anthraquinones and a mixture of phytosterols from the leaves of Aloe rubroviolacea was reported.     

Constituents of Craspedolobium schochii

Nine phenolic compounds, including a new one, were isolated from 70% acetone extract of Craspedolobium schochii. The new compound was identified as 3-(3,4-dimethoxy-2-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxy-coumarin (1) on the basis of spectroscopic evidence.     

Constituents of Pilocarpus trachylophus.

Four flavonoids, two terpenoids and a mixture of three polyprenols have been isolated from the leaves of Pilocarpus trachylophus.     

Constituents of Cassia auriculata.

The isolation and spectral data of di-(2-ethyl) hexyl phthalate (1) from Cassia auriculata leaves are reported.     

Constituents of Salvia moorcroftiana.

A new aromatic ester, 3-oxodecan-1-o1 p-hydroxybenzoate (1) was isolated from Salvia moorcroftiana aerial parts along with four other constituents.
