Fourteen Indian plants, selected based on their use in respiratory and other disorders in traditional systems of medicine, were analyzed for their potential activity against fungi. The antifungal activity was investigated by disc diffusion, microbroth dilution and percent spore germination inhibition tests against pathogenic Aspergilli. Methanolic extracts of Solanum xanthocarpum and Datura metel inhibited the growth of Aspergillus fumigatus, A. flavus and A. niger and their in vitro MICs were found to be 1.25-2.50 mg/ml by both microbroth dilution and percent spore germination assays. In disc diffusion assay, a concentration of 0.062 mg/disc of methanol extract of D. metel showed significant activity against Aspergilli. S. xanthocarpum exhibited similar activity at 0.125 mg/disc.  相似文献

The presence of 1 to 3 mg 1(-1) sodium dodecylbenzensulfonate detergent, or a growth medium pH of 4.0-5.0, inhibited pollen germination and pollen tube elongation more in broad-leaved trees than in conifers. In the broad-leaved species, pollen germination and pollen tube elongation showed similar sensitivities to detergent and acidity, whereas in the conifers, pollen tube elongation was more sensitive than pollen germination to detergent and acidity. Although the germination percentage was low, conifer pollen germinated in the presence of detergent concentrations up to 15 mg l(-1) and at acidities as low as pH 2.5 or 3.0. Pollen germination of most broad-leaved species was completely inhibited in the presence of detergent concentrations of more than 3-5 mg l(-1); the only exceptions were some entomophilous species (e.g., Salix caprea L.) in which the ability of the pollen to germinate in high pollutant concentrations could be related to the presence of tryphyne.  相似文献

The present study was undertaken to investigate the antioxidative and antiinflammatory activities of the ethanolic extract of seeds of Torreya grandis (EST). Exposure of human dermal fibroblasts to the extract at 50 and 250 microg/ml showed significant protective effect against hydrogen peroxide (300 microM). EST not only protected cell survival from H(2)O(2)-induced toxicity, but also inhibited the H(2)O(2)-induced LDH release significantly. It was also found that EST at 100 and 1000 microg/ml showed scavenging activities of radicals and reactive oxygen species with 29.8% and 100.0% of inhibition against DPPH radical and 41.2% and 98.4% against superoxide radicals in the xanthine/xanthine oxidase system, respectively. Topically applied EST dose-dependently inhibited arachidonic acid (AA)- and 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA)-induced ear edema in mice.  相似文献

The n-hexane and ethyl acetate extracts of whole plants of Dysophylla stellata significantly inhibited edema when applied topically at doses of 0.5 and 1 mg/ear in TPA-induced ear edema assay in mice. Further, both the extracts were evaluated for COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitory activities and showed 85.42 and 57.38%; and 71.79 and 89.27% inhibition at 50 µg/ml, respectively. Chromones (1 and 2) present in these extracts could be responsible for their COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitory and anti-inflammatory activities. The ethyl acetate extract showed antioxidant activity in DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging assay where as n-hexane extract found to be inactive.  相似文献

以洋紫荆(Bauhinia variegata)成熟种子为试验材料,采用质量浓度为0.5、1.0、1.5、2.0 mg/mL的秋水仙素溶液分别处理12、24、36和48 h,并以蒸馏水浸泡种子作为对照,观察测定其种子萌发特性及幼苗生长指标.结果表明,随着秋水仙素质量浓度的增加,种子发芽率逐渐降低,2.0 mg/mL溶液使大部分种子致死,0.5、1.0 mg/mL质量浓度秋水仙素处理24 h有利于种子萌发;种子胚根的伸长随着秋水仙素质量浓度的增加也受到不同程度地抑制;秋水仙素对发芽种子胚芽的发育有一定的抑制作用;不同质量浓度秋水仙素处理后第7个月,各处理间苗高与地径差异均极显著(P<0.01),质量浓度为1.0 mg/mL,处理36 h时,苗高和地径都最大;当秋水仙素质量浓度为2.0 mg/mL时,对叶片平均分裂角度有一定促进作用.  相似文献

In screening experiments for antiacne activity, methanolic and 50% ethanolic extracts of Caesalpinia sappan wood showed the most potent activity out of 28 species of plants extracts. These extracts showed inhibition of Propionibacterium acnes growth, lipase inhibitory activity, and antioxidant activity. In order to isolate the active compound from C. sappan, separation of the extract components was performed by column chromatography and preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Brazilin, protosappanin A, and sappanone B were isolated from methanolic extracts. Brazilin showed better antibacterial activity [minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) = minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) = 0.50 mg/ml] than protosappanin A (MIC = MBC = 1.00 mg/ml) and sappanone B (MIC = MBC > 2.00 mg/ml). The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) for lipase inhibition was lowest for brazilin (6 μM), which showed strong inhibition compared with protosappanin A (100 μM) and chloramphenicol (677 μM, positive control). The antioxidant activity of brazilin (IC50 8.8 μM) was not significantly different from protosappanin A (9.1 μM) and (+)-catechin (10.2 μM). The antioxidant activity of brazilin and protosappanin A were higher than sappanone B (IC50 14.5 μM). Brazilin is considered to have suffi ciently potent activity for use as an antiacne agent.  相似文献

用10~1000 mg/L稀土溶液对马占相思和大叶相思浸种24 h后的试验结果表明:适宜浓度的稀土溶液可促进马占相思和大叶相思种子内含物的转化,从而促进种子的萌发和幼苗生长,但同一稀土溶液对不同树种的适宜浸种浓度不同。马占相思以10 mg/L处理有利于提高种子发芽势并缩短发芽时间;大叶相思10~30 mg/L处理显著提高种子发芽率和发芽势,但没有显著缩短发芽时间。200 mg/L及以上浓度浸种对2种树种种子萌发有抑制作用。考虑指标多重比较差异及经济因素,10 mg/L处理较利于马占相思和大叶相思幼苗高和根系生长。  相似文献

为明确福建省樟树溃疡病病菌JY-5(Neofusicoccum parvum)的生物学特性,筛选有效的化学杀菌剂,测定了病原菌的生物学特性,并进行了12种化学杀菌剂对病原菌的毒力以及室内盆栽药效试验。研究结果表明,JY-5菌株在PDA培养基上生长最旺盛,孢子萌发率最高,其次是PSA,且两者之间无显著性差异。最适碳源为葡萄糖,最适氮源为蛋白胨和牛肉浸膏,最适pH值为6~8,最适温度为30℃,致死温度为50℃,最适光照条件为全光照培养。分生孢子萌发需要高湿度条件,在水滴中6 h萌发率达到89.33%。毒力测定结果显示,菌落抑制效果最好的为精甲·咯菌腈(EC90=0.129 mg·L-1),其次是戊唑醇(EC90=0.151 mg·L-1)、氟硅唑(EC90=0.176 mg·L-1),效果最差的药剂为啶酰菌胺(EC90=55309.942 mg·L-1)。盆栽药效试验结果显示,相同的药剂预防作用明显大于治疗作用,且随着药剂浓度的提高而增加。精甲·咯菌腈(400 mg·L-1)的保护和治疗效果为最佳,抑制率分别为92.44%和87.50%。  相似文献

化感作用是植物通过淋溶、挥发、残茬降解和根系分泌向环境中释放化学物质,从而对自身或周围其他植物的生长产生影响的现象(孔垂华等,2001;董卓杭等,2001;翟明普等,1993;林文雄等,2001;马茂华等,1999;彭少麟等,2001).化感作用普遍存在于自然界,对其深入研究将有利于复合系统中植物配置、耕作制度和栽培措施的科学化,在植物间加强促进作用,降低抑制作用,促进生物多样性和农业可持续发展.  相似文献

以洒金柏种子为材料,研究了NaCl胁迫下赤霉素和不同浓度的钙组合对其萌发效果的影响。结果表明,2.5 mg/L GA3+25 mmol/L Ca2+处理下的发芽率、发芽指数比对照分别提高了19%、51%,差异显著;经2.5 mg/LGA3+20 mmol/L Ca2+处理的种子活力指数比单独使用20 mmol/L的Ca2+提高了48.02%;而2.5 mg/L GA3+15mmol/L Ca2+处理的发芽势比对照提高了18.7%。同时盐胁迫下,洒金柏幼苗内可溶性糖及可溶性蛋白含量均增加,其中2.5 mg/L GA3+10 mmol/L CaCl2处理下的可溶性糖和2.5 mg/L GA3+15 mmol/L CaCl2处理下的可溶性蛋白含量增加幅度最为显著,分别比对照增加56.8%、120%。结果表明,GA3和Ca2+组合使用可缓解盐胁迫对洒金柏种子萌发的抑制作用。  相似文献

The antibacterial activity-guided fractionation of the dichloromethane extract of leaves of Helichrysum pedunculatum resulted in the isolation of linoleic and oleic acids. Linoleic acid inhibited the growth of all the Gram-positive bacterial species tested with the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) varying between 0.01 and 1.0 mg/ml. Oleic acid was active against three of the five Gram-positive bacteria at a MIC of 1.0 mg/ml. Both compounds were inactive against the Gram-negative species tested. A synergistic effect between the two fatty acids was observed against Staphylococcus aureus and Micrococcus kristinae.  相似文献

以外来种无瓣海桑为供体,通过室内栽培实验探讨了无瓣海桑各器官水浸液的不同浓度(即0 1、0 2、0 3、0 4、0 5g·mL-1)对我国4个乡土红树植物的化感作用。结果表明:无瓣海桑对各乡土红树植物均存在化感作用,对胚轴萌发的影响大于对幼苗生长的影响;除最低浓度外,不同浓度的各器官水浸液均能明显抑制各乡土红树植物的萌发,且随着浓度增大抑制作用增强;所有水浸液均表现出高浓度下抑制幼苗生长,随着浓度的降低抑制作用减弱,甚至转为促进的规律;各器官的水浸液对各乡土红树植物的萌发和幼苗生长的抑制作用为:果>根>凋落叶;高浓度时,无瓣海桑的各器官水浸液对不同受体红树植物的幼苗生长抑制强度不同。  相似文献

Crude proteins obtained by Mg/NP-40 extraction from Thai medicinal plants of the Curcuma species exhibited agglutination activity against rabbit erythrocytes. A crude extract from Salingalinthong, a Thai Curcuma specie, exhibited the strongest hemagglutinating activity, 2 x 10(-5) mg/ml.  相似文献

采用滤纸培养皿法研究了南方红豆杉叶浸提液对小麦种子萌发与幼苗生长的影响。研究结果发现,红豆杉叶浸提液对小麦种子的萌发和幼苗生长存在不同程度的抑制作用。低浓度的南方红豆杉浸提液促进小麦种子的萌发,高浓度浸提液抑制小麦种子的萌发。当浸提液浓度为6g/mL时,小麦种子的萌发率达到最高。南方红豆杉叶浸提液对小麦幼苗根系生长产生显著抑制作用。随着浸提液浓度的升高,小麦须根的长度逐渐下降,但不定根的数目逐渐增加。当浸提液的浓度为10g/mL时,根长抑制率达到42.48%。方差分析结果表明,南方红豆杉叶浸提液对小麦的根生长产生显著的抑制作用。对小麦幼苗的茎生长、根的生物量和茎的生物量均表现为低浓度的浸提液促进茎的生长和生物量的增加,高浓度浸提液则抑制茎的生长和生物量增加。研究结果表明,南方红豆杉浸提液表现低浓度时促进种子的萌发、须根数目的增加、茎的生物及生物量的增加,高浓度时则产生一定的抑制作用,而对根长的生长表现为显著的抑制作用。  相似文献

文冠果种子营养丰富、含油率高。花色品种多样且好看,花期长达20多天。但由于文冠果种子较难萌发,实验主要研究文冠果种子各部位是否含有抑制物,各部位抑制物含量比较,及用赤霉素处理后是否能降低抑制,使其能大面积种植。实验取饱满的文冠果种子的种胚、胚乳、种皮和完整种子各2g,研磨后,分别用蒸馏水和80%甲醇溶液在0℃下静止提取定容,制成浓度为0.5、0.1、0.15g/mL的溶液,倒入培养皿中每皿放100粒白菜种子进行发芽试验,每种处理3次重复。用200g/mL的赤霉素浸泡饱满的文冠果种子2天,再重复上述实验过程。结果表明:文冠果种子的蒸馏水提取液对白菜种子萌发抑制较弱,而甲醇提取液对其抑制较强,被赤霉素处理后抑制作用都有所减弱,但不能完全消除。文冠果种子各部分都含有含有抑制物,其中种皮含量较多。  相似文献

Traditional Indonesian medicinal plants were screened for their inhibitory effects on the nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages and for the antioxidant activity through the evaluation of free radical scavenging effect and reducing power. The results of screening indicated that 50 methanolic extracts inhibited (>50%) lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-induced NO release from RAW264.7 cells at 50 microg/ml, with 18 having greater than 100% inhibition. At 200 microg/ml, 61 methanol extracts exhibited inhibitory activity (>50%), with 45 showing greater than 100% inhibition. In addition, the free radical scavenging effects of 6 methanolic extracts were found to be more than 50% for extract concentration of 0.5 mug/ml. The results indicate that the extracts contain active compounds that inhibit NO release and scavenge free radical.  相似文献

进行了黑龙江西部半干旱地区17种乡土园林地被植物的25℃恒温和15℃12h与25℃12h变温2个处理的种子发芽试验,计算了发芽率、发芽势、发芽指数、日均发芽率。结果表明,12种地被植物在25℃恒温和15/25℃的条件下种子发芽率高于70%,可选择种子繁殖;15/25℃交替变温对地被植物种子发芽有促进作用。  相似文献

采用蒸馏水浸提法收集薄壳山核桃叶及青皮化感物质,运用室内生物测定法检测其不同浓度(0.005、0.01、0.1 g·mL-1)浸提液对小麦、油菜和绿豆种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响。结果表明:薄壳山核桃叶及青皮水浸液处理对3种受体植物的种子萌发和幼苗的苗高基本上表现为"低(0.005 g·mL-1)促高(0.1 g·mL-1)抑"的双重浓度效应,个别受体植物的化感作用虽然表现不同于"低促高抑"的整体趋势,但随着浓度的增加也表现为促进作用降低或抑制作用增强的现象;对3种受体植物根长的抑制作用大于对苗高的抑制作用,而对幼苗鲜质量、干质量的影响则因受体种类的不同而不同。薄壳山核桃叶水浸液处理对3种受体植物的综合化感效应依次为:油菜> 小麦> 绿豆;青皮水浸液处理对3种受体植物的综合化感效应依次为:小麦> 油菜> 绿豆。综合3种受体植物的化感效应认为,在相同浓度下,薄壳山核桃叶水浸液处理对3种受体植物的促进作用最强,而青皮水浸液处理对3种受体植物的抑制作用最强。  相似文献
