Abstract Accurate measurement and characterization of phosphate rock dissolution are important for a better understanding of phosphorus (P) availability in soils. An incubation study was carried out on two New Zealand topsoils (0–15 cm; high P buffering capacity Craigieburn and low P buffering capacity Templeton) amended with North Carolina phosphate rock (NCPR) and water‐soluble phosphate (WSP) at 218 mg P kg?1 (equivalent to 60 kg P ha?1). Isotopic exchange kinetics was carried out after 12 h and 28 days of incubation to characterize P availability. This study showed that sensitivity of capacity factors (r1/R, n) to explain changes in E1min values was affected by the P buffering capacity of the soils. The recovery of applied P in the E pool (RecinE%) with extended incubation time was similar from the NCPR and WSP treatments (3.1–3.3%) in the Craigieburn soil compared with the Templeton soil in which RecinE% values were greater in WSP (9%) than NCPR (1.3%) treatment. The higher values of P derived from the applied P fertilizers in the E pool (PdffinE%>80%) suggested that the NCPR application in both soils would be efficient for increasing P availability to plants. 相似文献

以有机材料为活化剂,用微晶化设备对磷矿粉进行活化处理,研究微晶活化后磷矿粉的物理特性、磷素释放动态及肥效.结果表明:微晶活化后磷矿粉的粒径整体变小,比表面积显著增大,磷素单次释放量和释放总量显著提高.施入土壤后,芦笋合格产品支数、单支质量和总产量较普通磷矿粉处理分别提高了2.61%,7.94%和9.64%;施用磷矿粉还可以增加土壤有效磷含量,提高土壤pH值,并促进芦笋对磷素的吸收,其中微晶化磷矿粉处理增加幅度明显高于普通磷矿粉处理.微晶化磷矿粉增量施用后,增产效果与普通过磷酸钙处理相当. 相似文献

ABSTRACT A solution culture experiment was conducted to determine the response of 15 wheat genotypes for growth, phosphorus (P) uptake, and P utilization efficiency, and their adaptability to P stress conditions using adequate [250 μM P in nutrient solution as ammonium phosphate (NH4H2PO4)] and stress (powdered rock phosphate suspended in nutrient solution) P supply levels. Shoot dry matter (SDM) and total plant DM (shoot + root) and P uptake were generally higher for most genotypes in adequate P than stress P level treatment, but the opposite was true for root dry matter (RDM), root: shoot ratio (RSR), and root P uptake. Relative reduction in SDM due to P deficiency stress ranged from none to 54%. Genotypes Kohinoor 83, PB 85, Parvaz 94 and 4770 did not respond to P deficiency stress for SDM production, while genotypes FSD 83, Chakwal 86, Pasban 90, 4072, 4943, 5039, 6529-11, and 6544-6 were highly responsive to P application for SDM. Shoot P uptake in genotypes at adequate P level was about 3-times higher than those genotypes grown at stress P level. Differences in P concentration of shoot ranged between 2.00 to 3.06 mg P g?1 in stress P level treatment, and had a significant positive correlation with P harvest index (PHI) (r = 0.558?, P < 0.05) and root efficiency ratio (RER) (r = 0.611?, P < 0.05) and negative correlation with P efficiency ratio (PER) (r = ?0.909??, P < 0.01). A significantly positive correlation of P utilization index (PUI) and SDM (r = 0.784??, P < 0.01) and non-significant negative correlation (r = ?0.483) of PUI with P concentration in shoot implies that wheat genotypes with higher PUI may be selected for P deficient milieu. Genotypes with higher PUI (>0.8 g mg?1 P) in rook phosphate treatment were Inqlab-91, Pak-81, Lu 26s, Parvaz 94, 4072, 4770, 4943, and 5039. There was no interrelationship observed between shoot P uptake and P efficiency in stress P level treatment. However, highly significant and positive correlation (r = 0.720??, P < 0.01) between PHI and RER suggested that shoot P uptake depended upon root efficiency and it increased with the increase in P uptake per unit RDM. Consequently, this resulted in increased SDM which is evident from the significant positive correlation (r = 0.833??, P < 0.01) between SDM and shoot P uptake. In summary, the findings suggest that PUI and RER may be used for selecting P efficient wheat genotypes (e.g., 4072, 4770, 4943, Pak 81, and Inqlab 91) for dry matter production and P use. 相似文献

采用土柱培养的模拟试验方法研究了在不同磷水平土壤上大量施用磷肥和有机肥对土壤测试磷、土壤磷渗漏的影响及影响机理。结果表明,不同磷水平土壤施用磷肥或有机肥土壤CaCl2-P、Olsen—P和土壤渗漏液中可溶性磷均显著增加;单位量磷肥或有机肥所增加土壤各形态磷量随土壤磷水平的增加而增大;随着磷肥或有机肥用量的增加,单位量磷肥或有机肥所增加各形态磷量也逐渐增大,差异均达到显著和极显著水平。在施用磷肥的基础上增施有机肥可以提高土壤CaCl2-P、Olsen—P含量和土壤渗漏液中可溶性磷的增长幅度。土壤磷的渗漏量与土壤测试磷呈显著正相关;单位量磷肥或有机肥所增加的土壤渗漏磷量随着磷肥或有机肥用量以及土壤磷水平的增加而增加。Olsen—P含量与土壤磷吸持指数(PSI)呈显著负相关关系,与土壤磷的吸附饱和度(DPS)呈显著正相关关系。 相似文献

Abstract Excess EDDHA (ethylenediamine di(o‐hydroxyphenylacetic acid) ) had little effect on leaf concentrations of Fe in bush beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L. var Improved Tendergreen) when grown in nutrient solution at three pH values from 4.3 to 8.7. An excess of EDDHA 20 times that of Fe decreased yields slightly, but not as result of Fe deficiency. A resulting hypothesis is that chelated Fe can be transferred from chelating agent to uptake sites on roots without going in the ionic form through the solution around roots. 相似文献

A calibrated soil test for phosphorus (P) fertilizer application to sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) grown on organic soils in southern Florida is an important best-management practice for minimizing P loads in water draining to the Everglades. The current calibration uses water as the soil extractant, which has the limitations of being very sensitive to pH and being most applicable to short-season crops. Phosphorus fertilizer rate studies at six locations (20 total crop years) were analyzed to develop an updated soil-test P calibration for sugarcane on organic soils. Phosphorus extracted with water, acetic acid, and Bray 2 did not consistently relate well to crop response. A new P soil-test calibration for sugarcane is proposed based on Mehlich 3 soil extraction, with a maximum rate of 36 kg P ha?1 with ≤ 10 g P m?3 in preplant soil samples and no P recommended with >30 g P m?3. 相似文献

Abstract Quantifying the relative contribution of different phosphorus (P) sources to P uptake can lead to greater understanding of the mechanisms that increase available P in integrated P management systems. The 32P–33P double isotope labeling technique was used to determine the relative contribution of green manures (GMs) and P fertilizers to P uptake by Setaria grass (Setaria sphacelata) grown in an amended tropical acid soil (Bungor series) in a glasshouse study. The amendments were factorial combinations of GMs (Calopogonium caeruleum, Gliricidia sepium and Imperata cylindrica) and P fertilizers [phosphate rocks (PRs) from North Carolina (NCPR), China (CPR) and Algeria (APR), and triple superphosphate (TSP)]. Dry matter yield, P uptake, and P utilization from the amendments were monitored at 4, 8, and 15 weeks after establishment (WAE). The GMs alone or in combination with P fertilizers contributed less than 5% to total P uptake in this soil, but total P uptake into Setaria plants in the GM treatments was three to four times that of the P fertilizers because the GMs mobilized more soil P. Also, the GMs markedly increased fertilizer P utilization in the combined treatments, from 3% to 39% with CPR, from 6–9% to 19–48% with reactive PRs, and from 6% to 37% with TSP in this soil. Both PGM and the other decomposition products were probably involved in reducing soil P‐retention capacity. Mobilization of soil P was most likely the result of the action of the other decomposition products. These results demonstrate the high potential of integrating GMs and PRs for managing P in tropical soils and the importance of the soil P mobilization capacity of the organic components. Even the low‐quality Imperata GM enhanced the effectiveness of the reactive APR more than fourfold. 相似文献

为研究溶磷真菌菌群对土壤磷素有效性的影响,首先在室内对3株不同种类溶磷真菌(1株属于被孢霉属Z1,1株为青霉属Z2,1株为黑曲霉Z3)的组合效应进行了研究,确定了最佳的菌株组合Z1+Z2+Z3,试验选用Z1、Z2、Z3组成菌群作为试验菌株;然后通过盆栽油菜试验研究溶磷真菌配施难溶态磷(磷酸三钙和磷矿粉)对土壤磷素有效性的影响。结果表明:溶磷真菌处理土壤有效磷、有机质、碱性磷酸酶、蔗糖酶含量和油菜产量分别比基质处理显著增加了60.00%,20.21%,56.45%,53.81%,14.38%,溶磷真菌配施难溶态磷上述各指标都高于单施溶磷真菌处理;单施溶磷真菌对土壤最大吸磷量的影响与基质无差异,溶磷真菌配施难溶态磷可以显著降低土壤最大吸磷量,溶磷真菌+磷酸三钙和溶磷真菌+磷矿粉处理土壤最大吸磷量比溶磷真菌处理显著减少158.7,47.6 mg/kg,溶磷真菌各处理土壤吸附常数都低于对应的基质处理,溶磷真菌可以降低土壤对磷的吸附。在土壤上溶磷真菌应与难溶态磷配合施用,对提高土壤磷素有效性有积极的作用。 相似文献

In order to improve the effectiveness of phosphate rock as phosphorus fertilizer, elemental sulfur and Thiobacillus have been evaluated as amendments. First, Thiobacillus was isolated from different soil samples. Then, a greenhouse pot experiment was conducted using a completely randomized factorial design with three factors included: elemental sulfur at four levels of 0, 1000, 2000, and 5000 mg kg?1; phosphate rock at three levels of 0, 1000 and 2000 mg kg?1; four Thiobacillus inoculums (T1, T2, T3, T4) and without inoculation (T0) in three replications. Results showed that all the four Thiobacillus inoculums increased significantly extractable soil-P. Combined application of phosphate rock and sulfur in equal proportion (1:1) along with inoculum Thiobacillus had a significant effect in improving phosphorus availability in soil. Combined application of sulfur (at rates of 1000 and 2000 mg kg–1) and Thiobacillus significantly increased phosphorus uptake by plants as compared to the control. 相似文献

镁淋溶是导致南方土壤缺镁的关键因素之一。通过室内土柱模拟实验探究了四种镁肥(氧化镁、改性硫酸镁、钙镁磷肥和硫酸钾镁)在中国南方三种酸性缺镁土壤(黄壤、紫色土、红壤)中的有效性、迁移和淋洗特征以及土壤对镁素的固持,以期为南方缺镁土壤科学施用镁肥提供依据。结果表明,施用镁肥(折合MgO 100 mg·kg~(-1))后,三种土壤施镁土层(0~15 cm)交换性镁含量提高了2倍~15倍。氧化镁、改性硫酸镁和硫酸钾镁在三种土壤中均表现出较强的迁移能力,经过60 d淋洗(模拟降雨量1 000 mm),未施用镁肥土层(15~50 cm)中有效镁含量均较对照增加17.9~105.4mg·kg~(-1)。黄壤上不同镁肥处理镁累积淋失量在104.9~243.8 kg·hm-2,与紫色土接近,但较红壤高2倍~3倍。实验结束后,黄壤和紫色土上施用氧化镁、改性硫酸镁和硫酸钾镁的淋失率均超过三分之一,而红壤中均低于7%;施用钙镁磷肥增加了土壤对镁的固持,减缓了镁向下淋洗,淋失率在三种土壤中均为负值。综合四种镁肥在土壤中的有效性、土壤对镁素的固持、镁在土壤中的淋洗特征以及土壤酸化阻控,钙镁磷肥在三种酸性缺镁土壤中施用效果均较好。 相似文献

Liming or adding organic matter may improve productivity of soils receiving phosphorus (P) fertilizers. This study assessed the effectiveness of amendment of acidic soil with limestone and organic matter on growth of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), corn (Zea mays L.), and cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) with different P fertilizers. These crops were grown in a greenhouse to evaluate superphosphate, bone meal, and rock phosphate as fertilizers and calcitic limestone and peat moss as amendments. Superphosphate was the superior P source to sustain crop growth, limit deficiency symptoms, and enhance P accumulation. Bone meal was less effective than superphosphate but exceeded rock phosphate in these capacities. Rock phosphate was better than adding no P fertilizer. The amendments of limestone or organic matter singly or together had little effect on growth, appearance, or P accumulation. The availability of P in the fertilizers governed the growth responses of the plants. 相似文献

Ten phosphate-solubilizing bacterial strains belonging to genera Pseudomonas, Burkholderia, Enterobacter, Serratia, Klebsiella, and Aeromonas were tested for mineral phosphate solubilization activity in Pikovskaya's broth using different phosphate sources at four temperatures (15, 25, 35, and 45 οC). Dicalcium and tricalcium phosphate were solubilized more effectively (≥1000 mg L?1) than ferric and rock phosphate (≥100 mg L?1) and 35 °C was found to be the optimum temperature. Although Klebsiella and Aeromonas spp. are well known for their dinitrogen (N2)–fixing ability, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of inorganic phosphate solubilization by Klebsiella terrigena and Aeromonas vaga. Interestingly, A. vaga BAM-77 is the most efficient strain at solubilizing inorganic phosphorus (P) even in the presence of 8% sodium chloride (NaCl) at pH 10. These findings indicate that all four strains are efficient P solubilizers under variable conditions of temperature, pH, and P source and thus can be recommended for P fertilization in different soils. 相似文献

Experiments on incubation with phosphorus (P) changes in two Nigerian Alfisols, were evaluated on the effectiveness of P sources (ground phosphate rock, GRP-9% P, Pace-setter Organo-Mineral Fertilizer (PR-fortified P-S-OM, 11% P and single superphosphate, SSP-7.7% P, for reference). All samples were adjusted to water tension measured at M Ψ w = 0.03 MPa. Changes in applied P were evaluated at 2, 6, 12 and 24 weeks after which data were analyzed using analysis of variance and correlations. Over 24 weeks of incubation, SSP transformed mostly into iron (Fe)-bound P and GPR produced the highest inorganic phosphate ions and transformed largely into the soluble and more chemically stable residual P, in both soils. This fraction, had high and positive correlations (r = 0.69, p < 0.05) with soil properties and constituted a major source and sinks of plant available P. Thus, GPR contributing beneficial effects of residual phosphates. 相似文献

Three phosphate extraction methods were used to investigate the dissolution,availability and transfo-mation of Kunyang phosphate rock(KPR) in two surface acid soils.Dissolution was determined by measuring the increase in the amounts of soluble and adsorbed inorganic phosphate fractions,and did not differ signifi-cantly among the three methods.Significant correlations were obtained among P fractions got by the three extraction methods.Dissolution continued until the end of the 90-day incubation period.At the end of the period,much of the applied phosphate recovered in both soils were in the Al- and Fe-P or in the hydroxide-and bicarbonate-extractable inorganic P fractions.The dissolution of KPR in the two soils was also similar: increased addition of phosphate rock resulted in decreased dissolution.The similarity in the order and extent of dissolution in the two soils was probably due to the similarity in each soil of several factors that are known to influence phosphate rock dissolution,namely low CEC,pH,P level,and base status;and high clay and free iron and aluminum oxide contents.The results suggested that KPR could be an aternative P source in the soils are not limiting. 相似文献

采用田间微区试验研究不同磷肥的施用位置和类型对姜堰、广德两地水稻生长、磷素吸收以及施肥后地表水磷浓度的影响,为水稻根区施磷提供科学依据。磷肥种类为磷酸二氢钙(MCP)和磷酸氢二铵(DAP),施用方式有:1表面撒施;2偏3 cm,深5 cm穴施;3偏12 cm,深5 cm穴施。结果显示施磷对两地水稻均无显著增产,姜堰地区水稻产量显著高于广德。不同施磷位置对水稻吸磷量有显著影响,姜堰、广德两地MCP偏3 cm处理的水稻总吸磷量较MCP偏12 cm处理分别高13%和12%,且DAP偏12 cm处理的水稻总吸磷量显著高于MCP偏12 cm处理,两地增幅分别达到12%和16%,磷肥撒施虽然在水稻分蘖期有较高的吸磷量,但在水稻成熟期不如磷肥偏3 cm穴施。施肥第10天的地表水总磷浓度以磷肥表面撒施处理较高,比磷肥穴施处理分别高245%(姜堰)和94%(广德)。以上结果表明:1适当位置的磷肥穴施不但能够促进水稻对磷的吸收,还能有效缓解径流排水造成的磷流失;2磷酸氢二铵的磷肥适宜施用距离范围较磷酸二氢钙远。 相似文献

对控释肥料(CRFs)的大蒜肥效进行了田间试验,结果表明:控释肥料与普通肥料(OFs)相比,在肥料施用量低和中等时具有提高肥效、增加产量的作用,大蒜的生物量分别增加80.5%和51.1%,蒜苔和蒜头产量分别增加180%、100%、和69.2%、29.3%,而高用量时产量反而降低;在比普通肥料(300kg/hm2)减少一半用量的情况下,控释肥料(150kg/hm2)处理的大蒜生物量、蒜苔和蒜头产量分别增加15.6%、61.5%和11.6%。经过大蒜的整个生长季,控释肥料处理的根际土壤有效养分仍能维持较高的水平,控释肥料能显著提高大蒜体内的氮磷钾含量及肥料的养分利用率。 相似文献

Four kinds of slow release fertilizers were prepared out by coating common compound fertilizer [nitrogen (N)-phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5)-potassum oxide (K2O):15-15-15] with four kinds of superfine phosphate rock powder (SPRP) which accounting for 60% of the total coated materials in mass. Electronic microscope scanning, static water releasing test, soil incubation experiment, and a field experiment were conducted on their nutrient release mechanisms and their effects on physiologic traits of Chinese cabbage. The results showed that all these four kinds of SPRP could markedly improve microstructure and thus release rate. However, their capacity was inferior to controlled release fertilizer (CRF). The four homemade fertilizers increased chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate, and transpiration rate in the leaves of Chinese cabbage during its late growth stage, and improve the superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and peroxidase (POD) enzyme activities during its ball period. In addition, the four homemade fertilizers improved yield by 20.62%~33.41% and 18.94%~24.44%, respectively, over the common compound fertilizer during 2009 and 2010, and improved sugar-acid and soluble sugar and VC contents of the head of Chinese cabbage at the harvest stage. There are not obvious differences of physiological traits between the J2 coated CCF fertilizer (JCRF2), Y2 coated CCF fertilizer (YCRF2), and Resin coated CCF fertilizer (CRF). Nutrient release characters and agricultural effect of four homemade fertilizers follow the order: JCRF2≈YCRF2>JCRF1≈YCRF1. 相似文献

When evaluating phosphate rock (PR) dissolution, previous to the extraction with sodium hydroxide (NaOH), dry soil samples with PR were extracted with three solutions to remove exchangeable and solution calcium (Ca) [sodium chloride (NaCl) 1 M, buffered NaCl with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) (NaCl–EDTA), and NaCl buffered at pH 7 with triethanolamine (TEA) (NaCl–TEA)] for comparison with the extraction of soil samples without any prewash. In acidic soils, up to 51% of applied P was recovered during the NaCl extraction because of the high exchangeable acidity released during the extraction. In soils with exchangeable Ca>2 cmol(+)kg?1, high EDTA quantities also promoted PR dissolution. The NaCl–TEA solution efficiently removed Ca, avoiding PR dissolution and P retention by calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] during the NaOH extraction. Thus, when evaluating PR dissolution we recommend the use of NaCl–TEA to remove Ca. We also recommend the same procedure when applying the Chang and Jackson fractionation to calcareous soils and soils submitted to PR application. 相似文献

Abstract Phosphorus (P) is expensive to the sub‐Saharan African resource‐poor farmers; therefore, there is a need for investigation of locally available alternative P sources to enhance farmers' productivity. Optimum P rate was determined during the early and late rains of 1999. Using the optimum P rate, influences of three P sources ogun rock phosphate (ORP), sokoto rock phosphate (SRP), single super phosphate (SSP) and a control were evaluated on amaranth varieties in 2000 at the vegetable research plots of the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT), Ibadan, Nigeria. In 1999, three grain amaranth varieties (NH84/452, NH84/445, and NH84/493) were combined factorially with four P rates: 0, 30, 60, and 90 kgP/ha. Application of P significantly increased plant height, number of branches, leaf dry weight, and grain yield (GY) per plant. Significant increase in GY was in the order NH/493>NH/445>NH/452. Optimum P rates across varieties for leaf dry‐matter yield was established at 51.8 kgP/ha and for grain yield production was 48.4 kgP/ha. The experiment in the following year, 2000, was a RCB design using the optimum P determined in 1999. Three P sources (ORP, SRP, SSP) and a control were factorially combined with the three amaranth varieties. In the 2000 experiment, grain yield was 21.3, 16.9, 16.0, and 7.8 g/plant, respectively, for SSP, SRP, ORP, and the control. Growth was ranked in the order SSP>ORP>SRP>control. It was concluded for fertilizer recommendation purposes that 50 kgP/ha is optimum for grain amaranth production and that amaranth productivity indices could be alternatively improved with indigenous P sources. 相似文献
