One new resveratrol analogue, 1-(3′,4′,5′-trimethoxyphenyl)-2-methoxy-2-(4″-methoxyphenyl)-ethane-1-ol (1), and two new prenylisoflavones, 4′-hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxy-6-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-isoflavone (2), and derrubon 5-methyl ether (3), together with 17 known compounds including one new natural product, 5,7-dihydroxy-3-[4′-O-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-phenyl]-isoflavone (4), were isolated from the stems of ethnomedicinal plant Derris eriocarpa How. (Leguminosae). Their structures were elucidated based on chemical evidence and spectroscopic techniques including two-dimensional NMR methods. All compounds are reported from this species for the first time. Antimicrobial activities of the new compounds were evaluated. Compound 2 exhibited good inhibitory activities against Candida guilliermondii, C. albicans and Microsporium gypseum with the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of 12.5 μg/ml.  相似文献

Three new germacrane sesquiterpenes (1), (2), (3), along with eleven known sesquiterpenes, namely, tirotundin-3-O-methyl ether (4), deacetylvguiestin (5), 1β-hydroxydiversifolin-3-O-methyl ether (6), tagitinin C (7), 1β-hydroxytirotundin-3-O-methyl ether (8), 1β-hydroxytirotundin-1,3-O-dimethyl ether (9), tagitinin F-3-O-methyl ether (10), tagitinin F (11), tagitinin A (12), 3β-acetoxy-4α-hydroxyeduesm-11(13)-en-12-oic acid (13) and ilicic acid (14) were isolated from the aerial parts of Tithonia diversifolia. Their structures were established by spectroscopic analysis, while the relative configuration of compound 1 was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. In addition, compounds 114 were evaluated in vitro for their anti-hyperglycemic activity by glucose uptake in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. It was found that 10 μg/mL 1, 3, 6 and 8 could significantly increase glucose uptake without significant toxic effects.  相似文献

Behavior of lignin in supercritical methanol (250–270°C, 24–27 MPa) was studied by using lignin model compounds at the tin bath temperature of 270°C with a batch-type reaction vessel. Guaiacol and veratrole were selected as a guaiacyl type of aromatic ring in lignin, while 2,6-dimethoxyphenol and 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene as a syringyl one. In addition, biphenyl and β-O-4 types of dimeric lignin model compounds were, respectively, studied as condensed and ether linkages between C6-C3 phenyl propane units. As a result, both guaiacyl and syringyl types of aromatic rings were very stable, and the biphenyl type was comparatively stable under supercritical conditions of methanol. However, β-ether linkage in the phenolic β-O-4 model compound was cleaved rapidly into guaiacol and coniferyl alcohol, which was further converted to its γ-methyl ether. Non-phenolic β-O-4 model compound was, on the other hand, converted initially into its α-methyl ether and degraded further to produce guaiacol. These lines of evidence imply that in lignin macromolecules, the new phenolic residues are continuously formed and depolymerized repeatedly in supercritical methanol into the lower molecular products, mainly by the cleavage of the dominant β-ether structure in lignin.  相似文献

Rigenolide A (1), a new secoiridoid glucoside with a cyclobutane skeleton and three new acylated secoiridoid glucosides, 2′-(2,3-dihydroxybenzoyl)-gentiopicroside (2), 2′-(2,3-dihydroxybenzoyl)-swertiamarin (3), 3′-(2,3-dihydroxybenzoyl)-sweroside (4), along with two noriridoids (7 and 8) and two known secoiridoid glucosides (5 and 6), were isolated from Gentiana rigescens Franch. The structures of new compounds were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analyses. The isolated compounds were evaluated for DPPH free-radical scavenging activity.  相似文献

A new ceramide and a new poly-hydroxyl octadecenoic acid were isolated from transgenic crown galls of Panax quinquefolium. Their structures were elucidated as (2S, 3S, 4R, 20E)-2-[(2′R)-2′-hydroxyl-palmitoyl-amino]-20-hexacosene-1, 3, 4-triol (1) and 12, 13, 15-trihydroxy-9-octadecenoic acid (2) respectively on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical methods.  相似文献

From the leaves of Miliusa mollis Pierre (Annonaceae), five new dihydrobenzofuran neolignans, namely miliumollin, 7-methoxymiliumollin, 3′-methoxymiliumollin, 4′-O-methylmiliumollin and miliumollinone, and a new 8-O-4′ neolignan named miliusamollin were isolated, and their structures were elucidated through analysis of spectroscopic data. Miliumollin, 3′-methoxymiliumollin, miliumollinone and decurrenal exhibited weak cytotoxicity against KB, MCF7 and NCI-H187 cells. Miliumollinone possessed weak inhibitory effects against herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2. None of the isolates displayed inhibitory activity against avian influenza H5N1 neuraminidase.  相似文献

Three new glucosides, namely, (–)-7R8S-7′,8′-dihydroxy-dihydrodehydroconiferyl alcohol-9-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (1), (+)-7S8R-7′,8′-dihydroxy-dihydrodehydroconiferyl alcohol-9-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (2) and 4-hydroxy-2-methoxyphenyl 1-O-[6-(hydrogen 3-hydroxy-3-methylpentanedioate)]-β-d-glucopyranoside (3), along with 6 known compounds were isolated from the fruit of Euterpe oleracea Mart. Their structures were elucidated based on spectroscopic analyses including NMR, HR-ESI-MS and CD. All the isolated compounds demonstrated significant antioxidant activity and 2 displayed moderate cytotoxicity against HL-60 cells.  相似文献

Two new heptaketides, (+)-(2S,3S,4aS)-altenuene (1a) and (-)-(2S,3S,4aR)-isoaltenuene (2a), together with six known compounds, (-)-(2R,3R,4aR)-altenuene (1b), (+)-(2R,3R,4aS)-isoaltenuene (2b), 5'-methoxy-6-methyl-biphenyl-3,4,3'-triol (3), alternariol (4), alternariol-9-methyl ether (5), and 4-hydroxyalternariol-9-methyl ether (6) were isolated from the EtOAc extract of an endolichenic fungal strain Nigrospora sphaerica (No.83-1-1-2). Compounds 1a and 1b were separated from enantiomers 1 by chiral HPLC, and so were 2a and 2b from enantiomers 2. Interestingly, 1-6 were also obtained from other two endolichenic fungal strains Alternaria alternata (No.58-8-4-1) and Phialophora sp. (No.96-1-8-1). The structures of 1-6 were elucidated by means of MS, HR-MS, NMR, and X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, the absolute configurations of 1a-2b were determined by CD experiments and CD calculation. Of these compounds, 4 and 5 showed antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus (HSV) in vitro, with IC(50) values of 13.5 and 21.3 μM, and with selective index (SI) values of 26.5 and 17.1, respectively.  相似文献

Three new phenolic compounds (13), together with 16 known compounds (419), were isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza yunnanensis Cheng f. et L. K. Dai. On the basis of 1D and 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS, and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopic analysis, structures of the new compounds were elucidated as 2-(2′-methoxy-4′-hydroxy)-aryl-3-methy-6-hydroxy-benzofuran (1), (2S)-6,7-(2,2-dimethyldihydropyrano)-8-prenyl-4′-hydroxyflavanone (2), and 6-prenyl-7,3′,4′-trihydroxyflavone (3). Compounds 1, 3, 5, 12, 14, 15 and 16 showed antioxidant activity by an ABTS-based assay.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation on the constituents of Thai propolis led the isolation of a new phenylallylflavanone, (7″S)-8-[1-(4′-hydroxy-3′-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-yl]-(2S)-pinocembrin (1) and (E)-cinnamyl-(E)-cinnamylidenate (2) from methanolic extract of Thai propolis. Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive NMR spectroscopic analysis. Two new amide alkaloids were isolated from the alkaloidal fraction of Datura metel L. Their structures were elucidated as (E)-methyl 4-(3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-N-methylacrylamido) butanoate and 6,7-dimethyl-1-D-ribityl-quinoxaline-2,3(1H,4H)-dione-5′-O-β-D-glucopyranoside on the basis of spectroscopic methods including HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR. Tropane alkaloids have for a long time been considered as characteristic ingredients of D. metel. Bioassay-guided fractionation of the chloroform extract of Centaurea jacea L. afforded the isolation of cirsiliol, apigenin, hispidulin, eupatorin, isokaempferide, axillarin, centaureidin, 6-methoxykaempferol 3-methyl ether, trachelogenin, cnicin, 4'-acetylcnicin and three aliphatic glucose diesters, including the new natural product 1β-isobutanoyl-2-angeloyl-glucose. The structures of the compounds were established on the basis of spectroscopic analyses (UV, MS and NMR). All compounds were isolated for the first time from this species. The compounds were evaluated for their tumour cell growth inhibitory activities on HeLa, MCF-7 and A431 cells. Different types of secondary metabolites (flavonoids, sesquiterpenes) were found to be responsible for the antitumour effects of the extracts; the highest activity was exerted by centaureidin, in addition to moderately active compounds (cirsiliol, isokaempferide, apigenin, hispidulin, cnicin and 4'-acetylcnicin).  相似文献

Seven constituents were isolated from the stems of Lawsonia alba Lam., following an activity-guided isolation, which include two new constituents, namely lawsorosemarinol (1) and lawsofructose (2), one known compound 2-(β-d-glucopyranosyloxy)-1, 4-naphthoquinone (3) and four compounds, 4-hydroxy coumarine (4), 3-(4-hyroxyphenyl)-triacontyl-(Z)-propenoate (5), 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-triacontyl-(Z)-propenoate (6) and 7-hydroxy-4-methyl coumarin (7) first time isolated from Lawsonia alba. Their structure elucidation was based on spectroscopic data analyses. Compounds 3 and 7 showed a moderate inhibition of urease activity, while rest of them showed less than 50% inhibition. These compounds did not show any significant inhibition against α-chymotrypsin.  相似文献

Two new 7,6′-coupled naphthylisoquinolines, namely ancistrotectorines A (1) and B (2), two new 5,3′-coupled naphthylisoquinolines, namely ancistrotectorines C (3) and D (4), and one new 7,8-coupled naphthylisoquinoline, namely ancistrotectorine E (5), together with 9 known naphthylisoquinoline alkaloids, hamatine (6), ancistrobertsonine B (7), ancistrocladinine (8), hamatinine (9), ancistrotanzanine A (10), ancistrotanzanine B (11), ancistrotectoriline B (12), 7-epi-ancistrobrevine D (13), and ancistrotectorine (14), were isolated from the 70% EtOH extract of Ancistrocladus tectorius. Their structures were elucidated based on the extensive analysis of spectroscopic data (1D, 2D NMR and MS). Compound 5 exhibited inhibitory activities against HL-60, K562 and U937 cell lines with IC50 values of 1.70, 4.18 and 2.56 μM respectively.  相似文献

Four new compounds, microminutin B (1), microminutin C (2), micromarinate (3), and secomicromelin (4) as well as 17 known compounds were isolated from the fruits of Micromelum falcatum. All compounds were evaluated for antifungal activity against Pythium insidiosum using disc diffusion assay. P. insidiosum is a fungus-like microorganism for which antifungal agents now available are not effective. The results show that four compounds including secomicromelin (4), 7-methoxy-8-(4′-methyl-3′-furanyl)coumarin (10), micromarin B (17), and isomicromelin (19) could inhibit the mycelia growth of P. insidiosum.  相似文献

Two new flavonoids, quercetin-3-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1  2)-α-d-ribopyranoside (1) and kaempferol-3-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1  2)-α-d-ribopyranoside (2), and one new phenolic derivative, gallicin-p-O-(6′-O-caffeoyl)-β-d-glucoside (3), together with twelve known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Rosa sericea (Rosaceae family). The structures of the new compounds were established by means of spectroscopic analysis including one- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy. Some of the isolated compounds were tested for the cytotoxicity of a breast cancer cell (MCF-7) line. The results showed that rubanthrone A (4) has moderate cytotoxicity against the MCF-7 cell line.  相似文献

Five anthranilic acid derivatives, a mixture I of three new compounds 11′-hexadecenoylanthranilic acid (1), 9′-hexadecenoylanthranilic acid (2), and 7′-hexadecenoylanthranilic acid (3), as well as a new compound 9,12,15-octadecatrienoylanthranilic acid (4) together with a new natural product, hexadecanoylanthranilic acid (5), were isolated from Geijera parviflora Lindl. (Rutaceae). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic measurements, and the positions of the double bonds in compounds 13 of the mixture I were determined by tandem mass spectrometry employing ozone-induced dissociation. Two new dihydrochalcones, 4-hydroxy-2,4′-dimethoxydihydrochalcone (1) and 3,4′-dihydroxy-2,4,6-trimethoxydihydrochalcone (2), and a new homoisoflavane, 7,3′-dihydroxy-8,4′-dimethoxyhomoisoflavane (3), along with 12 known compounds (415), were isolated from the red resin of Dracaena cochinchinensis (Chinese dragon's blood). Their structures were assigned by a variety of spectroscopic techniques. Diversity of cleavage pathways were proposed for dihydrochalcones and homoisoflavanes based on the mass spectroscopic behaviors of those identified compounds using hybrid ion trap-time of flight mass spectrometry. All the compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory effects on nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages, and compound 9 exhibited mild inhibition of NO production in this assay with IC50 value of 50.3 μM.  相似文献
