Variations of Runoff and Sediment during Flood Season in Source Region of the Yellow River
The paper analyzed the variations of runoff and sediment of floods with different discharges in flood season, summer flood season and au- tumn flood season of each hydrometrical station in the headwater region of the Yellow River, including Huangheyan, Jimai, Maqu and Tang- naihai by using the observed hydrological data from 1970 to 2005 and different classification standards of discharge. The outcomes show that a) during the period of 1970 -2005, each station in the headwater region of the river is mainly small and medium-sized flow rate and; b) comparing with the variations of that in 1970 - 1996 period, the variations of runoff and sediment in the flood seasons of 1997 -2005 period are not great, of which, the water reduction of Jimai Station is obvious, the sediment reduction of Tangnaihai Station is remarkable and both the water and sediment reductions of summer flood season are all smaller than that of autumn flood season. 相似文献
