Preliminary studies were conducted to determine if several feed supplements with the potential to improve dietary mineral availabilities in fish meal had any measurable effect in fish feeds. In the first study with rainbow trout, 11 supplements were tested: citric acid; sodium citrate; potassium chloride; sodium chloride; histamine dihydrochloride; EDTA disodium salt; sodium bicarbonate; a mixture of amino acids; ascorbic acid; a mixture of inositol and choline; and cholecalciferol. Apparent availability of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, iron, manganese and strontium in fish meal-based diets was determined using both yttrium oxide (Y2O3) and chromium oxide (Cr2O3) as inert dietary markers. Apparent availability was expressed as the fractional net absorption (%) of minerals from diets. After a 7-day acclimation period with test diets, fecal samples were collected for five consecutive days using passive collection systems. Apparent availability of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, manganese and strontium was increased by citric acid supplementation. Apparent availability of manganese also was increased by EDTA and sodium citrate. The other supplements had no measurable effect on the apparent availability of minerals in fish meal. In the second study, the effect of supplemental citric acid was further investigated using monogastric (rainbow trout) and agastric fish (goldfish). Fish were fed for 5 weeks (rainbow trout) or 3 weeks (goldfish) with fish meal-based diets containing either 0% (control), 2% or 5% citric acid on a dry basis. Feces were collected by settling and by stripping. Apparent availabilities of calcium and phosphorus were greatly affected by citric acid supplementation in rainbow trout but not in goldfish. Phosphorus levels in feces of fish fed a diet with 5% citric acid were approximately half of that of fish fed the control diet (0% citric acid) in the rainbow trout trial. This pattern was consistent during the 5-week feeding trial. A dietary supplement of citric acid as high as 5% did not reduce feed intake or appetite of rainbow trout. Conversely, this level of dietary acidification led to a marked reduction of feed intake in goldfish. Dietary supplementation of citric acid at 2% level did not reduce feed intake of goldfish; however, this level of dietary acidification had little effect on the apparent availability of major minerals in fish meal-based diet. Levels of non-fecal excretion of calcium and phosphorus, inorganic phosphorus in urine, and citric acid in feces were increased in rainbow trout fed 5% citric acid. The pH values of the feces and urine were decreased in rainbow trout fed citric acid. Plasma bicarbonate, plasma calcium and phosphorus, and blood pH of rainbow trout tended to increase by a 5% dietary supplementation of citric acid. The soluble inorganic phosphorus content increased in the diets and decreased in the feces of rainbow trout by supplementing the diet with 5% citric acid. Feces samples of rainbow trout collected by stripping provided similar availability values to data collected by settling for most elements except sodium, which had negative values in all dietary treatments.  相似文献

Groups of rainbow trout (mean initial weight 14 g) were given diets containing 10% of fatty acids derived from a white fish offal oil together with graded levels of vitamin E (2–10 mg/100 g) for 16 weeks. Fish increased in weight by eight-fold over the course of the experiment but there were no differences in weight gain between treatments, food conversion was similar in all treatments, no pathologies were observed and few mortalities occurred. In trout given the lowest dietary vitamin E intake, tissue levels of vitamin E were lowest in skeletal muscle, concentrations in most other soft tissues were about threefold that in muscle but higher levels were found in brain. Increased erythrocyte fragility occurred in those fish given diets low in vitamin E, and ascorbic acid-Fe3+-stimulated lipid peroxidation in liver microsomes decreased with increasing dietary vitamin E. Little or no malonaldehyde was formed in microsomes from trout fed diets containing 5 mg vitamin E/100 g or more. This was taken to be an adequate or safe concentration under the dietary conditions employed. Microsomes prepared from the muscle of trout given low levels (2 mg/100 g diet) of vitamin E were more susceptible to peroxidation in vitro than those obtained from gill, heart or liver. Microsomal susceptibility to peroxidation is determined by the ratio of vitamin E: peroxidizable unsaturated fatty acids in the microsomal membrane. A feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of nucleotides supplementation to low‐fish meal feed on growth and fatty acid composition of rainbow trout. Six isonitrogenous (42% crude protein) and isolipidic (18% crude lipid) diets were formulated containing fish meal and plant ingredients as main protein sources. The control diet was a basal diet without supplementation of nucleotides, and five experimental diets were prepared by supplementing one of the five different nucleotides in the form of 5′‐monophosphate (0.15%), that is inosine (IMP), adenosine (AMP), guanosine (GMP), uridine (UMP) and cytidine (CMP) onto basal diet. Two hundred forty juvenile rainbow trout with an initial average body weight 9.8 g were randomly distributed into twelve aquaria. After 15 weeks of feeding period, growth performance and feed utilization of rainbow trout were not significantly different among dietary treatments. Dietary GMP, UMP and CMP tended to accumulate crude lipid in the muscle and whole fish body. Moreover, dietary GMP, UMP and CMP significantly increased hepatic 18:3n‐3 and long‐chain homologue 18:4n‐3 and 20:4n‐3 contents. Hepatic 18:2n‐6 content showed also increase in fish fed GMP, UMP and CMP diets, but decreased in long‐chain homologue 20:3n‐6 and 20:4n‐6 contents. Decrease in 20:4n‐6, 20:5n‐3 and 22:6n‐3 contents was also found in the muscle of fish fed IMP, GMP and CMP diets. The present study clearly showed that there was no positive effect of dietary nucleotides on growth of fish, but dietary nucleotides particularly GMP, UMP and CMP altered polyunsaturated fatty acid composition of rainbow trout.  相似文献

The present study examined the effects of high-concentration ascorbic acid (AsA) supplementation over a long period on growth, plasma components, nonspecific immune responses, and thermal tolerance in rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. Four commercial diets supplemented with 0, 100, 1000, and 5000 mg AsA per kg of diet (designated AsA0, AsA100, AsA1000, and AsA5000, respectively) were fed to rainbow trout (initial weight 1.85 g) for 100 days. AsA contents in liver increased with increasing dietary AsA levels. Feeding period, growth performance, and plasma components did not differ significantly between the AsA groups. On the other hand, the phagocytic assay [nitro-blue tetrazolium (NBT) assay] was significantly higher in fish fed AsA1000 and AsA5000 than those fed a diet without AsA (AsA0) at the end of feeding trial. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in the intestines of fish fed AsA5000 was also significantly higher than that of fish fed AsA0. In the thermal tolerance test, fish fed AsA5000 only showed significantly lower cumulative mortality compared with the AsA0 group. In conclusion, high-concentration AsA supplementation such as AsA5000 over a long period does not induce any adverse effects and can enhance disease and stress resistance in rainbow trout.  相似文献

This experiment intended to assess the effect of sesame (SO), sunflower (SFO) and linseed (LO) oils on growth performance, fatty acid composition of fillet and liver or flesh quality traits of rainbow trout. Fish fed different four iso‐nitrogenous and iso‐lipidic experimental feeds. The control feed contained only fish oil as the primary lipid source. The fillet eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid levels were the highest in fish fed control feed. In contrast, the liver eicosapentaenoic acid level was the highest in fish fed LO feed. Fish fed SFO feed had the highest level of total n?6 fatty acids in fillet and liver. Fish fed SO feed had the highest level of 18:1 n?9 fatty acid in fillet and liver. During the 12 days refrigerated storage period at 1°C, thiobarbituric acid (TBA) and pH values gradually increased in all dietary groups. However, trimethylamin nitrogen (TMA‐N) values increased in all dietary groups between days 0 and 9 during the storage period. Generally, pH value in fillets of control group was slightly higher than the other fish groups during 12 days refrigerated storage. Nevertheless, the chemical indicators of spoilage, TBA, TMA‐N and pH values were in the limit of acceptability for human consumption. Results of growth performance and chemical tests in the present study showed that sesame, linseed and sunflower oils could be used in feeds for rainbow trout. Moreover, we concluded that further researches should be carried out on the partial replacement of fish oil by sesame oil in rainbow trout nutrition.  相似文献

An 80‐day feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary ascorbic acid (AA) supplementation at different levels (0, 0.2 and 0.4 g/kg l ‐ascorbate‐2‐polyphosphate; 7.6, 77.2 and 146.7 mg/kg AA, respectively) on cholesterol metabolism in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Dietary AA supplementation regardless of inclusion level increased the serum total cholesterol and low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels and LDL cholesterol/high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio. No significant differences were observed in the serum triiodothyronine and thyroxine levels, faecal cholesterol content, hepatic activity and mRNA expression of acyl‐coenzyme A:cholesterol acyltransferase among the dietary treatments. Dietary AA inclusion increased the faecal bile acid content, hepatic activity and mRNA expression of 3‐hydroxy‐3‐methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase and hepatic cholesterol 7α‐hydroxylase mRNA expression, but decreased the hepatic LDL receptor content. High level of AA supplementation (0.4 g/kg) depressed the serum cortisol levels. These results suggest that dietary supplementation with 0.2?0.4 g/kg l ‐ascorbate‐2‐polyphosphate may increase the serum total cholesterol level in rainbow trout. The cholesterol‐raising effect of AA may be due to the increased hepatic cholesterol production and the depressed cholesterol clearance from serum. In addition, dietary AA inclusion also facilitates the hepatic conversion of cholesterol to bile acids.  相似文献

A study was conducted to determine the effect of feeding with diets containing kefir on growth performance and fatty acid profile of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Four isonitrogenous (450 g protein kg?1) and isocaloric (4325 kcal kg?1) diets were prepared in trout feed to contain 0 (control), 20, 50 and 100 g kg?1 kefir. Fish, initial weight of 46 g, were randomly distributed into triplicate 520‐L fibreglass tanks in freshwater flow‐through system. Fish were fed at 4% of the body weight thrice a day for 12 weeks. The results indicated that survival rate ranged from 97.14 to 100% without significant difference among treatments (p > .05). Whole‐body moisture and lipid composition were significantly affected by diets containing different levels of kefir (p < .05), but no differences were determined in protein and ash. Furthermore, the fatty acid profile of flesh showed differences among the groups. The percentages of saturated fatty acid in the flesh lipid decreased, while 18:3n‐3 and polyunsaturated fatty acids were increased at higher substitution levels of kefir grain. The present study showed that up to 100 g kg?1 supplementation of kefir in diets could be improve the fatty acid profile, especially PUFA, in fish flesh without adverse effect on the growth, feed utilization and survival rate of rainbow trout.  相似文献

Groups of trout were fed either a high protein/low carbohydrate (HP/LC) or a low protein/high carbohydrate (LP/HC) diet for 16 weeks. Fish fed the HP/LC diet had significantly higher levels of protein, ninhydrin positive material and tryptophan in plasma as well as lipid and protein in liver, but lower levels of glucose in plasma, glycogen in liver and a lower hepatosomatic index compared with fish fed the LP/HC diet. There were no differences concentrations of tryptophan or serotonin in the brain of fish fed the different diets. Fish fed the HP/LC diet had significantly lower activities of glycolytic enzymes but higher activities of gluconeogenic enzymes compared with the group fed the LP/HC diet. Those enzymes measured concerned with the TCA cycle or initiating amino acid catabolism were generally unaffected by diet although activities of threonine dehydrogenase, alanine aminotransferase and glutamate dehydrogenase were higher in those fish fed the HP/LC diet. The data suggest that rainbow trout show little adaptation in activities of amino acid catabolising enzymes to variations in dietary protein intake.  相似文献

Supranutritional dietary selenium (Se) has been demonstrated beneficial for fish health, however, its effects on fish flesh quality remain unclear. This study investigated the effects of supranutritional dietary Se on the flesh quality of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and their potential mechanism. Fish were fed a basal diet supplemented with or without graded Se yeast for 10 weeks. Results showed that Se supplementation significantly increased fillet crude protein and enhanced fillet water‐holding capacity as well as fillet firmness. Supplementing with both 2 and 4 mg/kg Se significantly downregulated the expressions of two autophagy–lysosome‐related genes (autophagy‐related 12‐like and gamma‐aminobutyric acid type A receptor‐associated protein‐like 1) in fish muscle, while supplementing with 4 mg/kg Se also significantly downregulated the expression of two ubiquitin–proteasome‐related genes (muscle RING finger 2 and F‐box protein 25). Correlation analysis indicated that the improved fillet quality parameters were closely correlated with the expressions of these differentially expressed genes. This study revealed that dietary Se was effective for the improvement of rainbow trout flesh quality, and the improved fish flesh quality was associated with the inhibited protein degradation in fish muscle.  相似文献

The effect of chromium (chromium picolinate, CrPic) supplementation at various levels (0, 400, 800 or 1600 μg Cr/kg diet) on serum concentrations of glucose and cholesterol and on serum and liver concentrations of Cr, Zn, Cu and Fe of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was evaluated. One-year-old rainbow trout (n=120) were randomly assigned to four treatment groups, each with two replicates of 15 fish. The fish were fed either a control diet or the control diet supplemented with either 400, 800 or 1600 μg Cr/kg diet. Serum glucose and cholesterol concentrations decreased (p=0.001) with higher dietary chromium supplementation. Increasing dietary chromium supplementation linearly increased serum chromium and zinc concentrations (p=0.001). Serum copper and iron concentrations did not change (p>0.10) as dietary chromium supplementation increased. Liver chromium and zinc concentrations linearly increased (p=0.001). Also, liver Cu and Fe concentrations did not change (p>0.10) as dietary chromium supplementation increased. The results of present study conclude that supplemental chromium to the diet of rainbow trout influences serum and liver Cr and Zn concentrations, thus most probably functions of the organs as well as the welfare of raibow trout.  相似文献

Two experiments were conducted to determine 1) the effect of iron supplementation and the quality of fish oils on dietary lipid peroxidation and 2) the concurrent effects of diet rancidity and iron overload on the growth and physiological response of rainbow trout. Semi-purified diets supplemented with graded levels of iron (0–6250 mg/kg diet as ferrous sulphate) were fed to trout for 12–36 weeks. The malonaldehyde (MA) concentration of the test diets increased as the iron levels in the diets increased indicating that iron catalyzed lipid oxidation was occurring. However, when ethoxyquin was added to the oils, the increase in dietary MA level was significantly reduced. Fish oils with an initial high peroxide value were more susceptible to iron-catalyzed lipid oxidation. The concurrent effects of diet rancidity and iron overload (greater than 86 mg/kg) led to the development of unique histopathological signs, poor growth and high mortalities in the trout. In contrast, when diet rancidity was low (less than 10 µg MA/g diet), the toxic level of dietary iron was greater than 1380 mg/kg diet. The concentration of iron in trout tissues, and the hematocrit and hemoglobin concentrations increased as dietary iron levels increased and were not affected by the degree of diet rancidity.  相似文献

Rainbow trout (23.1 ± 0.4 g) were fed either a fishmeal‐ or plant‐based diet supplemented with various levels of zinc (0, 15, 30, 60 or 120 mg kg?1) for 12 weeks. Trout fed the fishmeal diet had significantly higher weight gain than with the plant‐based diet. Zinc supplementation in the fishmeal diet had no effect on growth performance, suggesting that additional dietary supplementation of zinc is not required. However, in trout fed the plant‐based diet, growth increased significantly up to 30 mg kg?1 zinc after which growth was not affected. Trout fed the plant‐based diet containing no zinc exhibited severe growth retardation, and in fish fed the 0 and 15 mg kg?1 zinc diets, cataracts were present. Use of broken‐line quadratic modelling suggests that dietary supplementation of zinc needed to prevent deficiency and promote adequate growth in rainbow trout fed the plant‐based diet in this study was 30.1 mg kg?1 (80 mg kg?1 total dietary zinc). This is higher than the NRC (2011, Nutrient Requirements of Fish and Shrimp) dietary recommended level of 15 mg kg?1 for rainbow trout. Following the NRC recommendation could lead to zinc deficiency in rainbow trout fed a plant‐based diet.  相似文献

A feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate the supplemental effect of bile salts to a defatted soybean meal-based non-fish meal diet for rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. A fish meal-based diet (FM) and two non-fish meal diets with and without bovine bile salts (SC+B and SC, respectively) were fed to fish (13 g initial weight) for 10 weeks. Fish fed diet SC showed inferior growth and feed efficiency, while bile salt supplementation improved the parameters to the same levels as fish fed diet FM. Crude fat and starch digestibility of diet SC-fed fish decreased after the 10-week feeding trial compared to the data obtained with fish that had no experience of the diet. Total biliary bile salt content and intestinal maltase activity of fish fed diet SC were the lowest among treatments, while these parameters were improved by bile salt supplementation. Morphological changes occurred in the distal intestine and liver of the diet SC group, although the histological features of fish fed diet SC+B were similar to those of fish fed diet FM. These results suggest that bile salt supplementation to a soybean meal-based diet improves the nutrient utilization by normalizing digestive processes in rainbow trout.  相似文献

An experiment was conducted to determine the effects of supplemental dietary l-carnitine, chromium picolinate (Cr-Pic) and their combination on growth performance and serum total protein, cholesterol, triglyceride and glucose of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). A total of 276 rainbow trout were randomly allocated to four groups. Fish (average initial body weight = 151 ± 1.69 g) were fed a basal diet without supplemental l-carnitine and chromium picolinate in the control group. The basal diet was supplemented with either 500 mg/kg l-carnitine, 1.6 mg/kg chromium picolinate or 500 mg/kg l-carnitine plus 1.6 mg/kg chromium picolinate for experimental groups 1 (C), 2 (Cr-Pic) and 3 (C + Cr-Pic), respectively. Fish were fed twice a day to apparent satiation for 58 days. Weight gain, growth rate, feed consumption and feed conversion ratio (feed/gain) were calculated for the whole period. At the end of the study, six fish were chosen randomly from each tank to represent the experiment and frozen at −20°C for subsequent dorsal muscle analysis. The results showed no significant differences in final body weight, weight gain or feed conversion ratio among groups. There were also no significant differences in serum total protein, cholesterol, triglyceride or glucose concentrations among groups. Significantly higher lipid concentration of dorsal muscle was observed in experimental groups 1 and 3. In conclusion, supplemental dietary l-carnitine, chromium picolinate and their combination have no beneficial effects on improving growth performance and feed conversion ratio in rainbow trout. However, dietary l-carnitine slightly increased lipid concentration in dorsal muscle of rainbow trout.  相似文献

A single cell protein (SCP) of methanophillic bacterial origin was incorporated into rainbow trout diets, at increasing levels of substitution for fish meal. Growth characteristics of rainbow trout fed these diets with or without sulphur amino acid supplementation (SAA) were followed over an experimental period of 16 weeks. It appeared from the results that this novel protein could replace nearly 80% of fish meal with no adverse effects on overall performance. Feed intake was adversely affected when the SCP was the major source of protein. Digestibility of protein was found to be increased at high levels of incorporation of the SCP.Effects of an addition of sulphur amino acids (L- or DL-methionine or L-cystine) to diets with 14% SCP or without SCP were also observed. Supplementation of these diets with the different SAA depressed trout growth to varying degrees. It was found that L-cystine had a more depressive effect than L-methionine, which in turn had a greater effect than DL-methionine. These results are discussed in the light of recent data on the SAA needs of rainbow trout. This study revealed that total substitution of fish meal in trout diets was feasible, and that there was no need for further supplementation with sulphur amino acids in the type of compounded diets used in this study.  相似文献

An 8‐week feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary nucleotides (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 g kg?1) on serum antioxidative biomarkers and lipid contents of rainbow trout fingerlings. The serum triglycerides and low‐density lipoprotein (LDL)‐C levels were significantly decreased in fish fed diets containing 1.5 and 2 g kg?1, whereas serum high‐density lipoprotein (HDL)‐C was higher in trout receiving diets with those levels of nucleotides. A significant decrease in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances concentration was observed in groups receiving 1.5 or 2 g kg?1 of dietary nucleotides in comparison with control group (?32% and ?27%, respectively). A significant decrease was observed in catalase and serum glutathione peroxidase activity in trout fed 1.5 and 2 g kg?1 dietary nucleotides compare with other groups. There were no significant changes in serum superoxide dismutase activity among the experimental groups. In conclusion, these results suggest that dietary nucleotides may reduce lipid peroxidation by increasing the levels of antioxidant lipoprotein, HDL‐C, and decreasing the LDL‐C, the main substrate of lipid peroxidation.  相似文献

SUMMARY: We attempt to assess the impact of different levels of dietary β-carotene on immune function in rainbow trout. Semi-purified diets containing 0, 40, 200, and 400 mg β-carotene/kg dry diet were fed for 12 weeks to fish with average weight of 45 g. In addition to the humoral and cellular immune parameters, growth and feed utilization were examined. There were no marked differences in growth and feed utilization showing that β-carotene was not particularly efficient in enhancing growth of rainbow trout. Of the immune parameters measured, total immunoglobulin was significantly highest for the 200 mg β-carotene fed group. Serum complement activity (alternate pathway) at 200 and 400 mg β-carotene supplementation was significantly higher than that of the unsupplemented group. An increasing trend in lysozyme activity was observed, however, the differences among the groups were not significant. Phagocytic activity was similar among diet groups except at the highest level of supplementation where it was the maximum. Oxygen radical production by peripheral blood leukocytes appeared to be lower at higher levels of carotenoid supplementation. Overall, dietary β-carotene clearly enhanced immune response parameters in rainbow trout such as serum complement activity and total plasma immunoglobulin but did not show a definite influence for the other factors examined in the present study.  相似文献

A feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effects of the replacement of dietary fish meal and fish oil with oilseed meals (soybean or canola) and canola oil on growth, nutrient utilization, body composition, diet digestibility and hematological parameters of rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. Seven diets were used; the control diet (designated FM) contained fish meal and fish oil as the main protein and lipid sources. For the experimental diets, 40% of fish meal protein was substituted with soybean meal, canola meal or a soybean/canola meal mixture, and these diets (designated SM, CM and SCM, respectively) contained fish oil as the lipid source. Three additional diets (SM?+?CO, CM?+?CO and SCM?+?CO) were formulated with the same vegetable protein meals but with fish oil replaced by canola oil. Fish were fed twice daily to apparent satiation for 11?weeks. The growth of fish fed the CM?+?CO diet was significantly lower than that of fish fed the FM, SCM, SM?+?CO and SCM?+?CO diets. The feed conversion ratio (FCR) was significantly better in fish fed the FM and SCM?+?CO diets than in fish fed the CM and CM?+?CO diets. Furthermore, feed intake was significantly lower for fish fed the CM?+?CO diet than in fish fed the SCM diet, and lipid digestibility of the CM?+?CO diet was significantly lower than that of all other diets. No significant differences of body composition were observed. Circulating leukocyte levels, leukocyte ratios and serum lysozyme activity remained unaffected by dietary treatment. However, it was observed that fish fed the CM?+?CO diet displayed hematocrit levels significantly lower (P?<?0.05) than that of fish fed the other diets. The results indicate that when diets contain either fish oil or canola oil, canola meal and soybean meal can be incorporated into rainbow trout feeds at a combined 32% inclusion level (replacing 40% of fish meal protein) without inducing significant negative effects on growth, nutrient utilization or health.  相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of citric acid (CA) supplementation in diet without inorganic phosphorus (P) on growth, muscle and bone composition, proteolytic activities and serum antioxidant property of rainbow trout. Six diets were designed as the negative diet without monocalcium phosphate (MCP) supplementation, the positive diet containing 10 g kg?1 MCP and CA supplementation diets with 4, 8, 12, 16 g kg?1 CA supplementation in negative diet, and then were fed to rainbow trout (113.6 g) for 60 days. Results showed that the fish fed 8 g kg?1 CA, 12 g kg?1 CA diet had higher weight gain, higher contents of crude ash and P in bone, and lower feed conversion ratio than those of fish fed negative diet (P < 0.05), and showed the similar levels as those of fish fed positive diet (P > 0.05). The proximate composition and P level of muscle were not affected by dietary CA and MCP. The proteolytic activity in intestine, but not in stomach and gastric digesta, was significantly improved by dietary CA and MCP (P < 0.05), when compared with negative control. The activities of serum superoxide dismutase of 12 g kg?1 CA and 10 g kg?1 MCP groups were significantly higher, and the malondialdehyde of 8 g kg?1 CA and 12 CA g kg?1 groups were significantly lower than those of negative control (P < 0.05). The above results indicated that the supplementation of CA could substitute the inclusion of MCP in rainbow trout diet and the supplementation level was suggested to be 8–12 g kg?1.  相似文献

Changes of plasma lysozyme and serum bactericidal activity, ceruloplasmin, total plasma protein, serum glucose, hematocrit and leucocrit levels in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were studied after exposure to formalin and chloramine-T, which are used in aquaculture as anti-ectoparasitic and antibacterial agents. Fish were exposed to formalin at a concentration of 250 ppm for 60 min and exposed to chloramine-T for 5 ppm for 3 h. The parameters were analyzed for rainbow trout exposed to formalin and chloramine-T soon after treatments and rainbow trout exposed to freshwater after 24 h (return) following the treatments. Plasma lysozyme activity decreased after exposure to formalin; however, it was not affected by chloramine-T exposure. Serum bactericidal activity reduced after both formalin and chloramine-T exposure and did not change after returning to freshwater. Ceruloplasmin and total plasma protein were not affected by both treatments. Serum glucose levels of exposed fish elevated and remained at higher levels during recovery period when compared to control values. Hematocrit values of fish exposed to formalin increased; however, no significant change was observed in fish exposed to chloramine-T. Leucocrit levels of fish treated with both formalin and chloramine-T were higher than that of controls.  相似文献
