Recent studies of animals with complex nervous systems, including humans and other primates, have improved our understanding of how the brain accomplishes learning and memory. Major themes of recent work include the locus of memory storage, the taxonomy of memory, the distinction between declarative and procedural knowledge, and the question of how memory changes with time, that is, the concepts of forgetting and consolidation. An important recent advance is the development of an animal model of human amnesia in the monkey. The animal model, together with newly available neuropathological information from a well-studied human patient, has permitted the identification of brain structures and connections involved in memory functions. 相似文献

采用土壤中微量元素的连续浸提的分组方法,研究河北省20个表层土壤中 Cu 的形态分布。将土壤中 Cu 分为交换态、碳酸盐结合态、氧化物结合态、有机质结合态和残渣态,其平均含量分别为0.09 mg/kg,0.06 mg/kg,4.88 mg/kg,0.48 mg/kg,和9.20 mg/kg。并讨论了土壤中 Cu 的形态分布特征及影响因素。此结果有助于评价土壤中 Cu 的背景值和了解土壤中Cu 的化学行为。 相似文献

Production of antibodies can last for a lifetime, through mechanisms that remain poorly understood. Here, we show that human memory B lymphocytes proliferate and differentiate into plasma cells in response to polyclonal stimuli, such as bystander T cell help and CpG DNA. Furthermore, plasma cells secreting antibodies to recall antigens are produced in vivo at levels proportional to the frequency of specific memory B cells, even several years after antigenic stimulation. Although antigen boosting leads to a transient increase in specific antibody levels, ongoing polyclonal activation of memory B cells offers a means to maintain serological memory for a human lifetime. 相似文献
