The oocyte of Sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) and Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baeri) was evaluated after incubation with 17α, 20β‐Dihydroxyprogesterone (DHP) in artificial media. Concentration of testosterone (T), progesterone (P4) and 17‐β estradiol (E2) in blood and their relation to fertilization rate were measured during experimental period. The oocytes at the same developmental stages were incubated in SIS (based on sturgeon blood ionic composition), RM2 (Ringer solution modified for sturgeons) and L‐15 (Leibovitz medium) artificial mediums in the presence of 1 μg/ml of 17α, 20β‐Dihydroxyprogesterone for 12, 18 and 24 hr. The result of this study demonstrated that fertilization rate decreased with the increasing duration of incubation in all mediums. In the Siberian and Sterlet sturgeon, the highest fertilization rate was observed in the oocytes incubated in RM2 (0.81 ± 0.4) and SIS (0.44 ± 0.8) mediums for 12 hr respectively. In the Siberian sturgeon, fertilization rate decreased significantly (p < .05) with incubation time in all three mediums. In Starlet, fertilization rate decreased significantly (p < .05) with time and reached a minimum after 24 hr (0.16 ± 0.1) in L‐15 medium. No significant (p > .05) differences were observed between blood plasma hormones and fertilization rate. The results of this study indicated that 17α, 20β‐Dihydroxyprogesterone is essential for induction of in vitro oocyte maturation in these species.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of coconut oil as a dietary supplement on the growth, lipid metabolism and related gene expressions of juvenile orange‐spotted grouper Epinephelus coioides. Coconut oil at concentrations of 0, 10, 30 and 50 g/kg was used to replace dietary lipids in a basal diet containing 150 g/kg lipids. The four experimental diets were, respectively, fed to triplicate groups of juvenile groupers (initial weight: 8.53 ± 0.13 g) in a recirculating system for 8 weeks. Fish fed the diet containing 50 g/kg coconut oil exhibited lower (p < .05) weight gain than did fish fed the diet containing 30 g/kg coconut oil; however, no significant differences in weight gain were observed between fish fed diets containing 0 and 10 g/kg coconut oil. Hepatic carnitine palmitoyltransferase‐1, fatty acid synthase, fatty acid elongase, fatty acid desaturase and peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor gamma gene expressions were all the highest in fish fed the diet containing 10 g/kg coconut oil. Fish fed the coconut oil‐free basal diet demonstrated upregulated gene expression of neuropeptide Y. The results suggest that dietary supplementation with 10 g/kg coconut oil exerted beneficial effects on lipid metabolism by E. coioides.  相似文献

A 7‐week study was conducted to investigate the effect of different fasting and re‐feeding regimes on compensatory growth and some physiological parameters of juvenile Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii). Fish (46.5 ± 0.5 g) were fed on a diet (containing 450 g/kg crude protein and 20 MJ/kg digestible energy) according to four feeding regimes in triplicate including: control group (C, fed everyday), W1 (2 weeks of feeding followed by 1 week of fasting and 4 weeks of re‐feeding), W2 (1 week of feeding followed by 2 weeks of fasting and 4 weeks of re‐feeding) and W3 (3 weeks of fasting followed by 4 weeks of re‐feeding). The fasted groups including W1 (119.6 ± 2.1 g), W2 (118.0 ± 1.7 g) and W3 (108.5 ± 4.8) significantly lost their weights during fasting phase and did not attain the final weight of the C (137.3 ± 1.7 g) after re‐feeding phase. The re‐feeding phase increased the specific growth rate in the fasted groups compared to the C (p < .05). After the fasting phase, concentrations of T3, T4, glucose, total protein and triglyceride in plasma of fasted groups were decreased, but levels of total cholesterol, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase and lactate dehydrogenase increased compared to the C. After re‐feeding phase, except for glucose level, all mentioned metabolites were restored in the plasma of W1 group, but total protein level and aspartate aminotransferase concentrations in plasma were not restored in W2 and W3 groups. Overall, our finding demonstrated 4 weeks of re‐feeding was too short to induce full compensatory growth in A. baerii juveniles.  相似文献

A sixty‐day feeding trial was conducted to determine the ascorbic acid (AA) requirement for growth of striped catfish, Pangasianodon hypophthalmus juveniles. Seven iso‐nitrogenous and iso‐energetic (370 g protein per kg and 19.6 MJ/kg) purified diets were prepared with different levels of ascorbic acid such as control (0), T1 (17.5), T2 (35), T3 (70), T4 (175), T5 (350) and T6 (700) mg ascorbic acid (L‐ascorbyl‐2‐polyphosphate) equivalent per kg diet. Fish with a mean body weight of 3.2–3.4 g were stocked (fifteen fish per tank) in triplicates following a completely randomized design. Each group was fed to satiation twice a day for 60 days. Significant differences were observed in growth, survival, body composition and metabolic enzymes activities with different dietary ascorbic acid levels. Maximum weight gain, specific growth rate (SGR) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) were found in fishes fed with 35 mg AA per kg diet, supported by best feed conversion. Fish fed a diet containing vitamin C had the highest activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) compared to those fed with vitamin C‐depleted diets. In this study, based on using broken‐line regression analysis, the dietary vitamin C requirement for growth of P. hypophthalmus juveniles was estimated to be in the range of 46–76 mg AA per kg, depending on the criterion used, growth and liver storage. Our results will be helpful for the formulation of cost‐effective ascorbic acid incorporated diets for striped catfish, P. hypophthalmus.  相似文献

To better understand the phosphorus (P) utilization in hybrid sturgeon (Huso dauricus ♀ × Acipenser schrenckii ♂), a combined technique with oesophageal intubation, dorsal aorta cannulation and urinary catheterization was used in the present study. Groups of five hybrid sturgeon were orally administrated with graded doses of P (0, 50, 100 and 200 mg P/kg BW) in the form of monocalcium phosphate. The high dose of P (200 mg P/kg BW) caused a significant increase in plasma P concentration. Plasma calcium (Ca) concentrations were significantly increased in the fish treated with 0 and 100 mg P/kg BW. Both P and urea excretion showed increased changing pattern with increasing P intubation level and exhibited significant higher value in 200 mg P/kg BW group. A significant increase in Ca excretion was found in the group without P supplementation (0 mg P/kg BW). ALP and SOD activity in plasma was inhibited in fish at P‐deficient groups (0 and 50 mg P/kg BW). The data in the current study showed that hybrid sturgeon at 100 mg P/kg BW treatment exhibited better P and Ca utilizations with lower waste excretion, as well as favourable status of anti‐oxidation.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to assess the effects of rearing density on the growth and fatty acid profile of Nereis diversicolor and on its capability to bioremediate wastewater in an integrated culture system with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). To this end, a batch of juvenile N. diversicolor (0.03 ± 0.01 mg) was assigned into four different densities (T1 = 250, T2 = 500, T3 = 1,000, T4 = 2,000, besides T0 = with no worm) in three replicates. The worm groups were fed with solid waste that was supplied from tanks containing rainbow trout (107.17 ± 13.5 g; 1.39 ± 0.18 kg/m3). During the experiment (60 days), the water temperature was 17.71 ± 0.6°C. The results revealed that SR%, SGR% and WG% of N. diversicolor in T1 were significantly higher than those of T2, T3 and T4. Both FER rate and biomass gain in T4 were significantly higher than those in the other groups. The highest removal rate of NO2‐N (73.72%), NH3‐N (65.70%), PO4‐P (59.32%), BOD5 (69.60%) and TSS (82.33%) were observed in T4. The major fatty acids presents were palmitic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid and alpha‐linolenic acid in all worm‐treated groups, with no difference observed in the concentration of these fatty acids among them. Taken together, these findings suggest that organic wastes from rainbow trout farms could be recycled to achieve a sustainable aquaculture goal, and demonstrate that a high percentage of fatty acids in fish feed is not absorbed by rainbow trout but is done by N. diversicolor.  相似文献

An experiment was carried to determine the plasma fenbendazole (FBZ) concentration and physio‐metabolic responses in juveniles of Labeo rohita (90 ± 4 g) after oral administration of single doses at 10, 20 and 50 mg, 20 mg FBZ/kg b.wt. in multiple times on 1st, 3rd and 7th day. The blood samples were collected at 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 24, 30, 48, 72, 96 and 120 hr, after single‐dose administration, and regularly (upto 15 day) in multiple dose. Plasma FBZ concentration was determined up to the limit of detection (LoD) of 0.09 µg/ml by HPLC. There was no parent drug detected in plasma for administration of 10 mg FBZ/kg b.wt. The drug attained the peak concentration (Cmax) 1.85 and 3.09 µg/ml in plasma at 4 hr (Tmax) after administration of 20 and 50mg FBZ/kg b.wt. respectively. Plasma FBZ was detectable up to 96 and 120 hr with concentration 0.09 ± 0.007 and 0.098 ± 0.006 µg/ml, respectively, after single‐dose administration of 20 and 50mg/kg b.wt. In case of multiple‐dose administration, the maximum concentration of FBZ was 1.01 ± 0.03 µg/ml on 7th day that was less than to the single dose at 50 mg/kg b.wt. However, FBZ was detected up to 11 day after multiple doses. The study revealed that the hepatic antioxidant enzymes activities like superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione‐S‐transferase were significantly affected by increasing FBZ in single and multiple doses. The results of the present study could reveal that single‐ or multiple‐oral administration of FBZ at 20 mg/kg b.wt. in feed as antihelminthic drug in L. rohita could be considered as the safe dose.  相似文献

Two 3‐week growth trials were performed to determine the optimum feeding rate of juvenile lake sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens) fed with a semi‐purified dry diet (protein, 440 g; lipid, 130 g/kg) at different feeding rates: 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 g/kg body weight per day (BW/.d‐1), for 36 g‐sized fish; and 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 30 g/kg BW/.d‐1, for 80 g sized fish. Feeding rates significantly influenced growth performances, feed conversion ratio, wholebody lipid and moisture contents, energy and protein retention, and fasted blood glucose levels (p < 0.05). The ratio of total C/total N measured in whole fish was positively correlated to the feeding rates and the lipid contents of whole fish. Suboptimal feeding significantly depressed growth performance and protein synthesis based on the measurement of RNA/DNA ratio in white muscle. Based on polynomial regression models, an optimal feeding rate to support the maximum growth, protein and energy retention was 34.5, 22 and 27.3 g/kg BW/.d‐1, respectively, for fish sized at 36–72 g; and 29.0, 16.9 and 19.9 g/kg BW/.d‐1, respectively for fish sized at 80–140 g. Results of this study will benefit future research to develop practical feeds to replace frozen live feed and feed management for lake sturgeon.  相似文献

The physiological ionoregulatory, metabolic and immune responses of Persian sturgeon, Acipenser persicus, to acute stress were investigated. Water levels were lowered to the fish dorsal scutes, and fish were blood‐sampled before stress (pre‐stress), and 0, 6, 24 and 72 h after stress. Results showed that serum cortisol rapidly increased after stress, returning to initial levels at 24 h. Serum glucose significantly increased at 6 h, declining to the pre‐stress levels at 72 h. Serum triglyceride and cholesterol showed significant decreases at 0 h, then increasing to higher than the initial levels at 72 h. Serum T3 and T4 significantly decreased at 0 h and recovered at 72 h. Serum chloride levels showed no significant changes while serum calcium showed a significant increase at 0 h and a further increase until 72 h poststress. Serum total protein and alternative complement activity showed a significant initial decrease and recovery at 24 h with further increase at 72 h. Serum lysozyme activity increased significantly at 24 and 72 h after stress. Serum total immunoglobulin significantly increased at 0 h and peaked at 24 h. This is the first work showing thyroid hormone and immunological responses in Persian sturgeon subjected to stress, and the results show that this species follows a classical hormonal and energetic stress response, although, in the low range among the sturgeons. Although transient and moderate, confinement stress can induce significant changes in the innate immune response.  相似文献

This study conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary zinc (Zn) levels on feed utilization, tissue Zn composition and serum enzyme activities of juvenile Siberian sturgeon, Acipenser baerii. Five isoenergetic and isonitrogenous semi‐purified diets were formulated with increasing Zn sulphate (ZnSO4.5H2O) level to provide the actual Zn values of 14.7 (control), 20.8, 27.3, 37.7 and 46.4 mg/kg diet. Each diet was assigned to three groups of 20 experimental Siberian sturgeons with uniform size (initial weight of 26.52 ± 0.94 g) for a period of 8‐week feeding trial. Results showed that growth performance and muscle protein content were significantly increased with increasing dietary Zn level up to 27.3 mg/kg (p < .05), beyond which they remained significantly unchanged (p > .05). Muscle lipid content significantly declined with increasing dietary Zn level. While muscle and serum Zn contents were not significantly changed among treatments (p > .05), liver Zn content tended to rise with increasing dietary Zn supplementation. Alkaline phosphatase, superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activities were also raised with increasing dietary Zn level. The adequate amount of dietary Zn requirements for the Siberian sturgeon was estimated to be 28.24 mg/kg based on the relative growth rate and 34.60 mg/kg based on the liver Zn content.  相似文献

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary taurine supplementation on growth, immunity and resistant to dry stress of rice field eel (Monopterus albus) fed low fish meal diets. Six isonitrogenous and isolipid diets (32% fish meal) supplemented with six taurine concentrations (0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2 and 1.5 g/kg; designated as T0, T0.03, T0.06, T0.09, T0.12 and T0.15 groups, respectively) were prepared. A diet including 42% fish meal (FM group) was also included as a reference. The results showed that specific growth rate (SGR) in FM group was significantly higher than that in lower fish meal treatments. SGR significantly increased and slowly decreased with the increase in taurine supplementation level. Lipase activity value in intestine of M. albus fed FM diet was maximum, and with the increase in taurine supplementation level, lipase activity significantly increased and slowly decreased. The FM group had relative higher total antioxidant capacity (T‐AOC) content, catalase (CAT), total superoxide dismutase (T‐SOD), and lyzozyme (LZM) activities in serum than the other groups. With the increase in dietary taurine supplementation level, the CAT, T‐SOD, T‐AOC and LZM activities in serum significantly increased and then decreased. In the dry stress experience, the adrenaline (AD), cortisol (COR), glucose (GLU), total cholesterol (CHOL), and malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations, T‐AOC content, CAT and T‐SOD activities in serum of M. albus in the four groups first increased and reached the peak at 2 hr, and then decreased under air‐exposure stress. Compared to the FM group, T0.15 group had relative higher T‐AOC content, CAT and T‐SOD activities, and lower AD, COR GLU, TC and MDA concentrations.  相似文献

To evaluate the effects of dietary linoleic (LA) and linolenic acids (LN) on growth, enzyme activities to lipid addition and antioxidant capacity of the Russian sturgeon, Acipenser gueldenstaedti, 10 diets with different sources of lipid were formulated. Coconut oil in the basal diet was replaced by sunflower oil to make three diets (LA0.5 + LN0, LA1.0 + LN0 and LA2.0 + LN0) with dietary LA at 0.5%, 1.0% and 2%, by perilla oil to obtain three diets (LA0 + LN0.5, LA0 + LN1.0 and LA0 + LN2.0) with dietary LN at 0.5%, 1.0% and 2%, and by the combination of sunflower oil and perilla oil to provide three diets (LA0.25 +LN0.25, LA0.5 + LN0.5 and LA1.0 + LN1.0) containing LA and LN at 0.25, 0.50 and 1.00%. Coconut oil was used as the control diet at 10%, but without LA and LN (LA0 + LN0). After feeding for 56 days, the fish whole body, the serum and the liver of sturgeon were sampled. Fish fed LA0 +  LN0 and LA0 + LN2.0 gained lowest weight but was not significantly different from the fish fed LA0 +  LN1.0. Fish fed LA1.0 + LN1.0 gained highest weight among all groups. Feed conversion ratio was the best in fish fed LA1.0 +  LN1.0. Survival, condition factor and viscerosomatic index did not differ among treatments. Total body n‐6 fatty acids increased with the levels of n‐6. Total body n‐3 fatty acids also increased with dietary n‐3, and fish fed 2.0% LN had the highest content of total body n‐3 fatty acids among all groups. Triglyceride and cholesterol in the serum of fish fed LA1.0 +  LN1.0 were lowest. Fish fed LA1.0 +  LN1.0 showed the highest lipoprotein lipase and lipase activities, but the lowest malate dehydrogenase activity. Fish fed LA1.0 +  LN1.0 showed higher catalase, superoxide dismutase activity and total antioxidant capacity than fish fed other diets. This study indicates that diets containing both LA and LN are best for the growth of Russian sturgeon. The level of LA1.0 + LN1.0 in the diet is most beneficial for growth performance and antioxidant capacity in juvenile Russian sturgeon.  相似文献

The present study was designed to assess the effects of fish oil with different oxidation degree on growth performance, serum biochemistry parameters and expressive abundance of oxidative stress and fat metabolism genes of orange spotted grouper Epinephelus coioides. The oxidized fish oil was conducted as follows: storage temperature: 4°C, ambient temperature (AT, [31.5 ± 3.5]°C); storage time: 45, 90, 135 days; antioxidant contents: 30 mg/kg (ethoxyquin [EQ]), 300 mg/kg Higher EQ (HEQ). According to the different treated conditions, 14 kinds of fish oil with different oxidation degree were obtained: TF+EQ [positive control (fresh oil + EQ)], TF (negative control [fresh oil]), T4°C+45d+EQ, T4°C+45d+HEQ, T4°C+90d+EQ, T4°C+90d+HEQ, T4°C+135d+EQ, T4°C+135d+HEQ, TAT+45d+EQ, TAT+45d+HEQ, TAT+90d+EQ, TAT+90d+HEQ, TAT+135d+EQ, TAT+135d+HEQ. Groupers were fed isonitrogenous and isolipidic diets containing 14 kinds of fish oil for 8 weeks, respectively. The results showed that survival, weight gain rate and thermal growth coefficient decreased as oxidation degree of dietary fish oil increased (p < 0.05). Higher serum total protein, triglyceride and glucose were observed with ascending oxidation degree of fish oil (p < 0.05). The genes expression levels of catalase, superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase were up‐regulated with dietary oxidized level increasing (p < 0.05). In addition, the similar status also appeared in expression of peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), hormone‐sensitive lipase (HSL) and fatty acid synthase (FAS) genes. In conclusion, the fish oil would show negative influence on the fish health until peroxide value and p‐anisidine value in oil exceed 12.96 meq/kg and 20.89. The best storage condition for fish oil is 4°C, 45 days and 30 mg/kg EQ which could keep fish oil available property to grouper.  相似文献

The present study was conducted to evaluate the …effect of dietary selenium on growth performance and antioxidant enzymes activity in Cirrhinus mrigala for a period of 45 days. Four numbers of experimental diets were prepared, Tc for Control (0 mg organic selenium/kg of diet), T1 (2.5 mg organic selenium/kg of diet), T2 (5.0 mg organic selenium/kg of diet) and T3 (10 mg organic selenium/kg of diet). The water quality parameters (temperature, DO, pH, conductivity, hardness, ammonia, nitrate and nitrite) were found to be insignificant (p > .05) among all the treatments. Superoxidase dismutase (SOD) was found to be significantly highest in T2 (6.10 ± 0.07) when compared with the other treatments. Similarly, catalase (CAT) activity in T1 (13.21 ± 0.13) was significantly (p < .05) different with that of Control, T2 and T3. Present study also revealed that 2.5mg organic selenium/kg supplemented diet (T1) showed highest results in net weight gain (15.55 ± 1.36 g), net weight gain percentage (185.88 ± 8.98%) and SGR (2.35 ± 0.06 g) compared with other experimental diet.  相似文献

The effects of dietary administration of inorganic zinc (zinc sulphate, ZnSO4) and nano zinc (zinc oxide nanoparticles, ZnO‐NP) were evaluated in rohu, Labeo rohita fingerlings. Fish were fed with a basal diet (Control) supplemented with ZnSO4 (T1, T2 and T3) and ZnO‐NP (T4, T5 and T6) at 10, 20 and 30 mg/kg, respectively, for a duration of 45 days. The results revealed that fish fed diet containing 20 mg ZnO‐NP per kg (T5) had the highest weight gain and specific growth rate (SGR, % per day), which was significantly different (p < .05) from the other experimental diets. Significantly (p < .05), higher activities of the digestive and metabolic enzymes were recorded in the fish fed ZnO‐NP containing diets as compared to the diets containing inorganic Zn or control diet. The maximum serum glucose and protein levels were noted in fish reared on diet T5. Both SGOT and SGPT activities were significantly increased in fish fed Zn‐supplemented diets (T1 to T6), as compared to the control group. Similarly, innate immune parameters were improved with feeding Zn incorporated diets. The highest phagocytic (40.74 ± 0.65%) and respiratory burst (0.33 ± 0.001, OD 630nm) activities were recorded in the fish fed diet containing ZnO‐NPs at 20 mg/kg (T5). The maximum superoxide production and serum peroxidase activity were detected in the fish fed T5 and T6 diets. Overall, results indicated that short‐duration feeding (≤45 days) of dietary ZnO‐NP (20 mg/kg) improved growth, enzyme activity, serum biochemical parameters and immune function in rohu fingerlings.  相似文献

This paper reports the triiodothyronine’s (T3) effects on the early growth and survival of piracanjuba (Brycon orbignyanus) produced from fertilized eggs hormone exposed. The study was carried out in two phases. In the first phase, eggs divided in 6 batches were immersed in T3 solutions: 0.01; 0.05; 0.1; 0.5 ppm; 1 ppm and control (no T3). After a 15-min immersion, eggs were transferred to incubators where larvae were kept up to 72 h after hatching. Larval weight, length and yolk sac volume were determined every 12 h. Sixty and 72 h after hatching, larvae exposed to 0.5 ppm T3 were significantly heavier than the others, and those exposed to 1 ppm T3 showed the lowest weight. The yolk sac absorption was not affected. In the second experimental phase, the resulting fry from the first phase were stocked into 3 boxes per treatment (5 larvae L−1) and fed with plankton, fish larvae and feed prepared in the hatchery (48% CP) in the first 3 days, plankton and feed from the 4th to the 10th day and only feed in the next (last) 5 days. Fry weight, length and specific growth rate were determined at 1, 5, 10 and 15 days. Survival was calculated in the last day. In the 15th day, fry length did not differ among treatments but the weight of the control group was higher. Higher survival in the T3-treated groups suggested lower predation among fry. The results allowed us to conclude that there was no expressive effect of T3 on the growth, but it improved the survival of the piracanjuba progeny.  相似文献

Allometric growth and ontogeny were studied in thick‐lipped grey mullet Chelon labrosus reared in mesocosms from 1 to 71 day post hatching (dph). Multivariate allometric analysis of morphometric growth distinguished three distinct developmental stanzas separated by two morphometric metamorphosis lengths (Lm1 = 4.46 ± 0.06 mm; Lm2 = 28.56 ± 1.04 mm). Body mass growth also showed three distinct episodes separated by two inflections, correlated with morpho‐functional changes. First episode concerned pre‐flexion larvae and ended around 4.5 mm‐LT (14‐dph), coinciding with estimated Lm1. It was distinguished by reduced growth, but intense morphogenesis and differentiation processes. Organogenesis and allometric changes indicated that development priorities concerned feeding efficiency, by improving detection ability (sensory system development), ingestion capacity (head growth) and assimilation performance (digestive system differentiation), together with respiration efficiency (gill development). Second episode concerned post‐flexion larvae and, ended around 8.6 mm‐LT (25‐dph). It was distinguished by fast growth of trunk and tail, acquisition of adult axial muscle distribution and completion of gill filament development, improving locomotion and oxygenation performances. It corresponded to transition towards metamorphosing stage as indicated by later isometric growth, musculature maturation and acquisition of juvenile phenotype. An 8‐week trial was conducted to determine the effects of total replacement of 12.9% fish oil (FO) with soybean oil (SBO), peanut oil (PNO), sunflower seed oil (SFSO), corn oil (CO) and canola oil (CNO) on growth performance, health status and fillet fatty acid composition of hybrid sturgeon (194.28 ± 0.14 g). Compared to the FO group, dietary SBO decreased growth performance (p < .05), increased serum glucose and hepatic lipid content (p < .05). No obvious adverse effects on growth performance and health status were observed in PNO, SFSO and CO groups (p > 0.05). The fish fed with CNO had increased growth performance (p < .05), reduced serum ALT, AST, LDL‐C (p < .05) and enhanced serum GSH‐Px, T‐AOC, and LZM, MPO, C4 (p < .05). The contents of C18:1n9, C18:2n6, and ∑n‐3 PUFA and ∑n‐6 PUFA in fillets showed a positive linear correlation with the diets (p < .05). In summary, PNO, SFSO and CO are probable alternative lipid sources to fully replace FO. Hybrid sturgeon prefers to use CNO as a lipid source with improved growth performance and health status. The fillet fatty acid composition mirrors the dietary fatty acid composition.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to establish a proper feeding regime for juvenile black rockfish (Sebastes schlegilii) intended for stock enhancement. We used a combined experimental design to assess the effects of different feeding rates (1%, 3% and 5% body weight per day (BW/day)) and feeding frequencies (apparent satiety or restricted feeding 1 to 3 times daily) on survival, growth, digestive enzyme activity, body composition and feeding costs over 50 days, from newly weaned (initial average weight 1.5 ± 0.2 g) to release size. The results showed that feeding rate significantly affected fish growth, feed utilization and body composition. The highest feed conversion ratio was at 3% BW/day. Increased feeding rates resulted in enhanced growth and higher body lipid content, but this was also accompanied by decreased contents of moisture, protein and ash. With feeding to apparent satiety, increased feeding frequency resulted in higher growth performance and enhanced intestinal lipase activity but decreased gastric protease activity. There were no growth improvements or effects on digestive enzyme activity and body composition with increasing feeding frequency (from one to three times daily) under a fixed‐quantify feeding (3% BW/day). Feed costs increased with increasing feeding rates or apparent satiety feeding frequencies and were associated with shorter growth times to reach a suitable size for release. Our study suggests that a feeding rate of 3% BW/day is the best feeding regime for proper growth and reduced feed costs in juvenile black rockfish before releasing for stock enhancement.  相似文献
