Shuang-Huang-Lian (SHL), a traditional Chinese formula containing Lonicerae japonicae flos (LJF), Scutellariae radix (SR) and Forsythiae fructus (FF), is commonly used to treat acute upper respiratory tract infection, acute bronchitis and light pneumonia. Forsythoside A is one of the main active ingredients in Forsythiae fructus, a key herb in SHL. In the present study, effects of different compositions in SHL on the intestinal absorption of forsythoside A were investigated. The observations from in situ intestinal circulation model showed that A/%(h− 1) of forsythoside A in FF + LSF, FF + SR and SHL were all reduced greatly compared with that in FF. However, in pharmacokinetics study, Cmax and AUC0 → 1440 of forsythoside A all increased and T1/2 prolonged in SHL, FF + LJF and FF + SR compared with FF. The results indicated that the different compositions of SHL decreased absorption but increased bioavailability of forsythoside A, which may be related to its metabolism inhibited in intestine or liver.  相似文献

Two novel indole C-glycosides, which were the first reported alkaloids C-glycosides from Isatis indigotica, together with five known alkaloids were isolated. The novel alkaloids were elucidated to be indole-3-acetonitrile-4-methoxy-2-C-β-D-glucopyranoside (1) and N-methoxy-indole-3-acetonitrile-2-C-β-D-glucopyranoside (2) on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. 1 exhibited significant cytotoxic activities against human myeloid leukemia HL-60 and human liver cancer HepG2 cells with the IC50 of 1.3 ± 0.1 and 2.1 ± 0.3 μM, respectively. 2 showed potential cytotoxic activities against HL-60 and human myeloid leukemia Mata cells with the IC50 of 5.1 ± 0.4 and 12.1 ± 0.8 μM, respectively.  相似文献

Greenhouse gas emissions from managed peatlands are annually reported to the UNFCCC. For the estimation of greenhouse gas (GHG) balances on a country-wide basis, it is necessary to know how soil–atmosphere fluxes are associated with variables that are available for spatial upscaling. We measured momentary soil–atmosphere CO2 (heterotrophic and total soil respiration), CH4 and N2O fluxes at 68 forestry-drained peatland sites in Finland over two growing seasons. We estimated annual CO2 effluxes for the sites using site-specific temperature regressions and simulations in half-hourly time steps. Annual CH4 and N2O fluxes were interpolated from the measurements. We then tested how well climate and site variables derived from forest inventory results and weather statistics could be used to explain between-site variation in the annual fluxes. The estimated annual CO2 effluxes ranged from 1165 to 4437 g m−2 year−1 (total soil respiration) and from 534 to 2455 g m−2 year−1 (heterotrophic soil respiration). Means of 95% confidence intervals were ±12% of total and ±22% of heterotrophic soil respiration. Estimated annual CO2 efflux was strongly correlated with soil respiration at the reference temperature (10 °C) and with summer mean air temperature. Temperature sensitivity had little effect on the estimated annual fluxes. Models with tree stand stem volume, site type and summer mean air temperature as independent variables explained 56% of total and 57% of heterotrophic annual CO2 effluxes. Adding summer mean water table depth to the models raised the explanatory power to 66% and 64% respectively. Most of the sites were small CH4 sinks and N2O sources. The interpolated annual CH4 flux (range: −0.97 to 12.50 g m−2 year−1) was best explained by summer mean water table depth (r2 = 64%) and rather weakly by tree stand stem volume (r2 = 22%) and mire vegetation cover (r2 = 15%). N2O flux (range: −0.03 to 0.92 g m−2 year−1) was best explained by peat CN ratio (r2 = 35%). Site type explained 13% of annual N2O flux. We suggest that water table depth should be measured in national land-use inventories for improving the estimation of country-level GHG fluxes for peatlands.  相似文献

Contrasting responses of Eucalyptus trees to K fertilizer applications have been reported on soils with low K contents. A complete randomized block experiment was set up in Brazil to test the hypothesis that large atmospheric deposits of NaCl in coastal regions might lead to a partial substitution of K by Na in Eucalyptus physiology and enhance tree growth. Treatments with application of 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 kmol K ha−1 (K1.5, K3.0, K4.5, respectively) as KCl, 3.0 kmol K ha−1 applied as K2SO4, 3.0 kmol Na ha−1 (Na3.0) as NaCl commercialized for cattle feeding, and a mixture of 1.5 kmol K + 1.5 kmol Na ha−1 (K1.5 + Na1.5) were compared to a control treatment (C) with no K and Na applications. All the plots were fertilized with large amounts of the other nutrients.  相似文献

China's subtropical forests have experienced severe deforestation and most native forests have been fragmented into an archipelago-like landscape. The genetic effect of habitat fragmentation depends largely on the level of gene flow within and among population fragments. In the present study, Eurycorymbus cavaleriei, a canopy tree found throughout subtropical China, was selected as a representative insect-pollinated plant species to assess genetic consequence of forest fragmentation. Contemporary pollen dispersal and mating patterns were estimated in two physically isolated stands of E. cavaleriei within fragmented forests using six highly polymorphic microsatellite loci. We found high genetic diversity (HE = 0.670–0.754) in both adults and offspring in the fragmented agricultural landscape, suggesting that habitat fragmentation did not necessarily erode genetic diversity of E. cavaleriei. Although substantial pollen travelled less than 100 m, paternity analysis revealed that a large amount of long-distance pollination events occurred, with the average pollen dispersal distance being 1107 m and 325 m for the two stands, respectively. Extensive pollen immigration (39.3–42.6%) indicated that there was effective genetic connectivity among E. cavaleriei stands in the fragmented forests. twogener analysis revealed that the exponential power model was the best-fitting dispersal curve with a fat-tailed (b < 1) dispersal feature. The results from a multilocus mating system analysis suggested that a small amount of biparental inbreeding and some correlated mating events occurred in the fragmented forests, which were similar to our parallel findings in the continuous forests of E. cavaleriei. Estimates of pollen pool structure (ΦFT = 0.128–0.174) indicated large genetic differences between pollen clouds accepted by maternal trees. The number of effective pollen donors (Nep) in E. cavaleriei, estimated using both mltr (Nep = 4.2–5.3) and twogener (Nep = 2.9–3.9) models, was equivalent to the number of effective pollen donors detected in continuous forests of E. cavaleriei. The pollen dispersal and mating patterns detected here indicated that habitat fragmentation did not have a negative impact on pollen movement in E. cavaleriei, possibly due to its generalist pollination system and the resilient foraging behavior of its pollinators in response to changes in landscape structure. The long distances of pollen-mediated gene flow between patches highlight the conservation value of remnant forest fragments in maintaining genetic connectivity at the landscape scale in subtropical China.  相似文献

The management of the genetic resources of any wild species requires the definition of genetically homogeneous units about which practical decisions can be taken. To this end, a structure analysis was performed on the Patagonian cypress Austrocedrus chilensis (D.Don) Pic. Ser. et Bizzarri. A total of 746 seed trees corresponding to 27 natural populations sampled across its entire Argentinean range were genotyped at 12 isozyme gene markers. Genetic structure was analyzed following four successive steps: (1) proposal of different population groupings according to (a) environmental features, (b) cluster and principal coordinate analyses on genetic distances, (c) Bayesian inference utilizing BAPS program and (d) maximally differentiated groups by the software SAMOVA. (2) Evaluation of the proposed groupings with AMOVA, considering that best groupings were those with a proportion of covariance component due to inter-group differences higher than that due to intra-group differences. (3) New grouping proposition after a synthetic analysis. (4) Evaluation and characterization of the final structure proposed. Mean values of diversity parameters revealed a generally low level of allelic diversity (A/L = 1.52; Ae = 1.163; r18 = 1.436), with moderate expected and observed heterozygosities (He = 0.143; Ho = 0.135). Differentiation at species level was low (δ = 0.048 and FST = 0.060). Grouping according to precipitation regimes and glacial patterns proved not to be significant. Cluster and principal coordinate analyses did not reveal any geographical pattern. A six-group structure was proposed considering AMOVA results with intuitive adjustments based on biological facts. Three out of the six groups include most of the Argentinean range of the species. Since they are latitudinal groups, a latitudinal pattern is the basis of this structure, onto which other effects seem to superimpose. The three remaining groups would be related to the glacial history of the region. One of them is composed of populations outside the glaciated area but close to the ice sheet border, which are probably related to the re-colonization process after last deglaciation. Populations forming the fifth group are extremely isolated patches far beyond the glacial border. It is possible that those populations are the remnants of a pre-glaciation distribution of the species that managed to last to the present without any profound change. The sixth one is a rather atypical single-population group, most likely determined by drift processes. Each group of this structure serves as a preliminary operational genetic management unit (OGMU). The addition of complementary genetic data on adaptive traits is necessary to delineate definitive OGMUs.  相似文献

A new triterpene saponin, androsacin (1), along with two known compounds, ardisiacrispin A (2) and saxifragifolin A (3), were isolated from the whole plants of Androsace integra. The chemical structure of the new compound was elucidated as 3β-O-{β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 2)]-α-L-arabinopyranosyl}-16α-hydroxy-13β,28-epoxy-olean-30-al on the basis of spectral evidence. Ardisiacrispin A (2) was cytotoxic toward HepG2 cancer cell with the GI50 value of 1.56 μM.  相似文献

A new oxysporidinone analogue (1) and a new 3-hydroxyl-2-piperidinone derivative (2), along with the known compounds (−)-4,6′-anhydrooxysporidinone (3), (+)-fusarinolic acid (4), gibepyrone D (5), beauvercin (6),cerevisterol (7), fusaruside (8), and (2S,2′R,3R,3′E,4E,8E)-1-O-D-glucopyranosyl-2-N-(2′-hydroxy-3′-octadecenoyl)-3-hydroxy-9-methyl-4,8-sphingadienine (9) were isolated from Fusarium oxysporum. Compounds 1-9 were evaluated for cytotoxicity using the MTT method against cancer cell lines, PC-3, PANC-1, and A549. Beauvericin showed cytotoxicity against PC-3, PANC-1, and A549 with IC50 value of 49.5 ± 3.8, 47.2 ± 2.9, and 10.4 ± 1.6 μM, respectively. Beauvericin also exhibited anti-bacterial activity towards methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MIC = 3.125 μg/mL) and Bacillus subtilis (MIC = 3.125 μg/mL).  相似文献

Oil production from the seeds of Camellia oleifera Abel. causes a great waste of shells which contain a lot of bioactive components. The aim of this research was to isolate flavonoid from the shells of C. oleifera Abel. and evaluate its uses. The shells were extracted by 70% methanol, hydrolyzed by 2 M hydrochloric acid, and further crystallized in acetone, the corresponding yield of flavonoid was up to 2.1% (purity: 93.8%). The procedure is concise, quick and proper for industrial utilization of the shells. Flavonoid was identified as bimolecular kaempferol structure by UV, MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectra, which is a new biflavonoid and first found in C. oleifera Abel. It showed stronger scavenging activity of DPPH and ABTS radicals than kaempferol. MDA decreased, and SOD and GSH-Px activities increased significantly in serum (P < 0.01) and brain tissue (P < 0.05) of mice after intragastric administration of biflavonoid at 200 mg/kg/d for 30 d. Its effects in vivo are superior to vitamin C and similar to kaempferol. Thus biflavonoid can be used as a prospective antioxidant to protect brain cells against damage from free radicals.  相似文献

Efforts in Europe to convert Norway spruce (Picea abies) plantations to broadleaf or mixed broadleaf-conifer forests could be bolstered by an increased understanding of how artificial regeneration acclimates and functions under a range of Norway spruce stand conditions. We studied foliage characteristics and leaf-level photosynthesis on 7-year-old European beech (Fagus sylvatica) and pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) regeneration established in open patches and shelterwoods of a partially harvested Norway spruce plantation in southwestern Sweden. Both species exhibited morphological plasticity at the leaf level by developing leaf blades in patches with an average mass per unit area (LMA) 54% greater than of those in shelterwoods, and at the plant level by maintaining a leaf area ratio (LAR) in shelterwoods that was 78% greater than in patches. However, we observed interspecific differences in photosynthetic capacity relative to spruce canopy openness. Photosynthetic capacity (A1600, net photosynthesis at a photosynthetic photon flux density of 1600 μmol photons m−2 s−1) of beech in respect to the canopy gradient was best related to leaf mass, and declined substantially with increasing canopy openness primarily because leaf nitrogen (N) in this species decreased about 0.9 mg g−1 with each 10% rise in canopy openness. In contrast, A1600 of oak showed a weak response to mass-based N, and furthermore the percentage of N remained constant in oak leaf tissues across the canopy gradient. Therefore, oak photosynthetic capacity along the canopy gradient was best related to leaf area, and increased as the spruce canopy thinned primarily because LMA rose 8.6 g m−2 for each 10% increase in canopy openness. These findings support the premise that spruce stand structure regulates photosynthetic capacity of beech through processes that determine N status of this species; leaf N (mass basis) was greatest under relatively closed spruce canopies where leaves apparently acclimate by enhancing light harvesting mechanisms. Spruce stand structure regulates photosynthetic capacity of oak through processes that control LMA; LMA was greatest under open spruce canopies of high light availability where leaves apparently acclimate by enhancing CO2 fixation mechanisms.  相似文献

Although the removal or addition of understory vegetation has been an important forest management practice in forest plantations, the effects of this management practice on soil respiration are unclear. The overall objective of this study was to measure and model soil respiration and its components in a mixed forest plantation with native species in south China and to assess the effects of understory species management on soil respiration and on the contribution of root respiration (Rr) to total soil respiration (Rs). An experiment was conducted in a plantation containing a mixture of 30 native tree species and in which understory plants had been removed or replaced by Cassia alata Linn. The four treatments were the control (Control), C. alata addition (CA), understory removal (UR) and understory removal with C. alata addition (UR + CA). Trenched subplots were used to quantify Rr by comparing Rs outside the 1-m2 trenched subplots (plants and roots present) and inside the trenched subplots (plants and roots absent) in each treatment. Annual soil respiration were modeled using the values measured for Rs, soil temperature and soil moisture. Our results indicate that understory removal reduced Rs rate and soil moisture but increased soil temperature. Regression models revealed that soil temperature was the main factor and soil moisture was secondary. Understory manipulations and trenching increased the temperature sensitivity of Rs. Annual Rs for the Control, CA, UR and UR + CA treatments averaged 594, 718, 557 and 608 g C m−2 yr−1, respectively. UR decreased annual Rs by 6%, but CA increased Rs by about 21%. Our results also indicate that management of understory species increased the contribution of Rr to Rs.  相似文献

Two new benzofuran derivatives, 2-(4′-hydroxybenzyl)-5,6-methylenedioxy-benzofuran () and 2-(4′-hydroxybenzoyl)-5,6-methylenedioxy-benzofuran (), along with 8 known compounds were isolated from 60% EtOH extract of the fibrous roots of Liriope spicata var. prolifera. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. In an in vitro bioactive assay, the two new benzofuran derivatives showed anti-inflammatory activity. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited significant inhibitory activity against neutrophil respiratory burst stimulated by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) with IC50 value of 4.15 ± 0.07 and 5.96 ± 0.37 μM, respectively.  相似文献

Aster flaccidus bge has been used as traditional medicine in northwestern China. Two new phenylpropanoids (12) including one lignan: (7′R, 8S)-9′-lariciresinol-(α-methyl)-butanoate (1), 5,9-dimethoxyl-7-(α-methyl)-butanoxyl-phenyl-2E-propenol-(α-methyl)-butanoate (2) isolated from the chloroform extract of the root of Aster flaccidus bge were identified by means of extensive spectroscopic studies: 1D and 2D NMR spectra as well as HRMS analysis. They have not obvious anti-HIV-1 therapeutic activity (TI = 1.0–1.1) compared with AZT (TI = 55,556) as the result of the determination of their in vitro anti-HIV-1 activity while compound 2 displays strong antitumor activity against BEL 7402 (human liver carcinoma) with cisplatin as a positive control and the effect increases with the measuring-time going on (24 h, IC50: 106.67 ± 8.47 µM — 72 h, IC50: 50.51 ± 6.11 µM).  相似文献

Two new glycosidated coumaramides clerodendiod A (1) and B (2), together with seven known glycosidic compounds were isolated from the branches of Clerodendron cyrtophyllum Turcz. Clerodendiod A and B were elucidated as β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-[6-O-(E)-p-methoxycinnamoyl]-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-[4-O-((E)-2-(4-acetamidobutylcarbamoyl)vinyl)-phenyl]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (1) and 6-O-(E)-p-coumaroyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-[6-O-(E)-p-methoxycinnamoyl]-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-[4-O-((E)-2-(4-acetamidobutylcarbamoyl)vinyl)-phenyl]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (2) on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence. The isolated new compound 2 was assayed for the inhibition of the NF-κB pathway and showed potent activity in inhibiting NF-κB which its IC50 values was found to be 24.9 nM.  相似文献

We calculate greenhouse-gas emissions from land-use change in Mato Grosso and Rondônia, two states that are responsible for more than half of the deforestation in Brazilian Amazonia. In addition to deforestation (clearing of forest), we also estimate clearing rates and emissions for savannas (especially the cerrado, or central Brazilian savanna), which have not been included in Brazil's monitoring of deforestation. The rate of clearing of savannas was much more rapid in the 1980s and 1990s than in recent years. Over the 2006–2007 period (one year) 204 × 103 ha of forest and 30 × 103 ha of savanna were cleared in Mato Grosso, representing a gross loss of biomass carbon (above + belowground) of 66.0 and 1.8 × 106 MgC, respectively. In the same year in Rondônia, 130 × 103 ha of forest was cleared, representing gross losses of biomass of 40.4 × 106 MgC. Data on clearing of savanna in Rondônia are unavailable, but the rate is believed to be small in the year in question. Net losses of carbon stock for Mato Grosso forest, Mato Grosso savanna and Rondônia forest were 29.0, 0.5 and 18.5 × 106 MgC, respectively. Including soil carbon loss and the effects of trace-gas emissions (using global warming potentials for CH4 and N2O from the IPCC's 2007 Fourth Assessment Report), the impact of these emission sources totaled 30.9, 0.6 and 25.4 × 106 Mg CO2-equivalent C, respectively. These impacts approximate the combined effect of logging and clearing because the forest biomasses used are based on surveys conducted before many forests were exposed to logging. The total emission from Mato Grosso and Rondônia of 56.9 × 106 Mg CO2-equivalent C can be compared with Brazil's annual emission of approximately 80 × 106 MgC from fossil–fuel combustion.  相似文献

Pistacia integerrima Stewart in traditionally used as folk remedy for various pathological conditions including diabetes. In order to identify the bioactive compound responsible for its folk use in diabetes, a phytochemical and biological study was conducted. Pistagremic acid (PA) was isolated from the dried galls extract of P. integerrima. Strong α-glucosidase inhibitory potential of PA was predicted using its molecular docking simulations against yeast α-glucosidase as a therapeutic target. Significant experimental α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of PA confirmed the computational predictions. PA showed potent enzyme inhibitory activity both against yeast (IC50: 89.12 ± 0.12 μM) and rat intestinal (IC50: 62.47 ± 0.09 μM) α-glucosidases. Interestingly, acarbose was found to be more than 12 times more potent an inhibitor against mammalian (rat intestinal) enzyme (having IC50 value 62.47 ± 0.09 μM), as compared to the microbial (yeast) enzyme (with IC50 value 780.21 μM). Molecular binding mode was explored via molecular docking simulations, which revealed hydrogen bonding interactions between PA and important amino acid residues (Asp60, Arg69 and Asp 70 (3.11 Å)), surrounding the catalytic site of the α-glucosidase. These interactions could be mainly responsible for their role in potent inhibitory activity of PA. PA has a strong potential to be further investigated as a new lead compound for better management of diabetes.  相似文献

Three new flavanes and eight known flavonoids were isolated from the fruits of Livistona chinensis. The structure of the new flavanes were established as 2S,3S-3,5,7,3′,5′-pentahydroxyflavane (1), 2R,3R-3,5,6,7,8,4′-hexahydroxyflavane (2) and 2R,3R-3,5,6,7,8,3′,5′-heptahydroxyflavane (3), respectively, on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic data. The antiproliferative activity against four human tumor cell lines (HL-60, Mata, HepG2 and CNE-1) was evaluated. 1 had significantly antiproliferative effects against HL-60 and CNE-1 with the IC50 of 0.2 ± 0.01 and 1.0 ± 0.1 μM, respectively, overpowering the reference compound in the assay (cisplatin). Most compounds also exhibited potent antioxidant activity.  相似文献

The Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) unit of the U.S. Forest Service has collected, compiled, and made available plot data from three measurement periods (identified as 1977, 1990, and 2003, respectively) within Minnesota. Yet little if any research has compared the relative utility of these datasets for developing empirical yield models. This paper compares these and other subdatasets in the context of fitting a basal area (B) yield model to plot data from the aspen (Populus tremuloides Michx.) forest type. In addition, several models and fitting methods are compared for their applicability and stability over time. Results suggest that the three parent datasets, along with their subdatasets, provide very similar three parameter B yield model prediction capability, but as model complexity increases, variability in coefficient estimates increases between datasets. The absence of data for older aspen stands and the inherent noise within B data prevented the exact determination of an overall best model. However, the model B = b1Sb2(1 − exp( − b3A)) with site index (S) and stand age (A) as predictors was found consistently among the highest in precision and stability. Additionally, nonlinear least squares and nonlinear mixed-effects fitting procedures produced similar model fits, but the latter is preferred for its potential to improve model projections. The results indicate little practical difference between datasets from different time periods and different sizes when used for fitting the models. Additionally, these results will likely extend to other states or regions with similar remeasurement data on aspen and other forest types, thus facilitating the development of other ecological models focused on forest management.  相似文献

We tested the effects of species and spacing of nurse trees on the growth of Hopea odorata, a dipterocarp tree indigenous to Southeast Asia, in a two-storied forest management system in northeast Thailand. Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Acacia auriculiformis, and Senna siamea were planted as nurse trees in 1987 at spacings of 4 m × 8 m, 2 m × 8 m, 4 m × 4 m, and 2 m × 4 m in the Sakaerat Silvicultural Research Station of the Royal Forest Department, Thailand. Seedlings of H. odorata were planted in the nurse tree stands at a uniform spacing of 4 m × 4 m and in control plots (no nurse trees) in 1990. Stem numbers of some nurse trees were thinned by half in 1994. The stem diameter and height of all trees were measured annually until 1995 and again in 2007. The mean annual increment (MAI) in volume was estimated as 8.2–10.1 m3 ha−1 year−1 for E. camaldulensis and 0.9–1.2 m3 ha−1 year−1 for S. siamea, smaller than reported elsewhere. This suggests that the site properties were not suitable for them. The MAI of A. auriculiformis was 7.9–9.8 m3 ha−1 year−1, within the reported range. Survival rates of H. odorata in the S. siamea stands and the control plots decreased rapidly during the first 2 years but then stayed constant from 1992. In contrast, survival rates of H. odorata in the E. camaldulensis and A. auriculiformis stands were initially high (>70%), but then decreased after 1995. Stem diameter, tree height, and stand basal area of H. odorata were large in both the S. siamea stands and the control plots from then. The growth of H. odorata was largest in the 2 m × 8 m S. siamea stands. In contrast, it was restricted in the E. camaldulensis and A. auriculiformis stands owing to strong shading by their canopies. Thinning by 50% tended to facilitate the growth of H. odorata temporarily in the E. camaldulensis and A. auriculiformis stands. The stand basal areas of nurse trees and of H. odorata showed a trade-off. These results suggest that the growth of H. odorata was maximized in the S. siamea stands. We assume, however, that the growth of H. odorata could be improved even in the E. camaldulensis and A. auriculiformis stands by frequent or heavy thinning.  相似文献

Cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzyme inhibitory properties of six chromenylated amide compounds (CAs) from Amyris plumieri are described. Inhibition of CYP microsomes (CYP1A1, CYP1A2, CYP1B1, CYP2D6, CYP3A4 and CYP2C19) was monitored using a fluorescent assay. Potent inhibition was found against CYP1A1 with IC50 and Ki for CA1 (acetamide), being the lowest at 1.547 ± 1.0 μM and 0.37 μM respectively, displaying non-competitive kinetics. The selectivity for CYP1A1 was increased in CA3 (butanamide), which also exhibited cytotoxicity against breast cancer cells, MCF7 with an IC50 of 47.46 ± 1.62 μM. Structure-activity relationship studies provide insight at a molecular level for CAs with implications in chemoprevention and chemotherapy.  相似文献
