Newer aspects concerning the role of arginine in plant and animal metabolism
The different metabolic pathways of arginine in plant and animal kingdom are discussed and the results from newer publications are compiled in a table.

Proteins and enzymes in chlorophyll-containing cells
Summary We find in chlorophyll-containing cells the same enzymes of the general metabolism as found in the yeast and in the muscle; the high biological value of proteins and the good nutrional value of chlorophyll-containing plant cells are due to this conformity in enzyme proteins.
