Performance tests of Northern mirror carp (M72) and three different crossbreds were conducted in semi‐intensive pond conditions from the larval stage up to market size. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possible utilization of new hybrid combinations (M72 × PL – Poho?elice mirror carp) and (M72 × Dor – Israeli mirror carp), and to compare them with a hybrid widely reared as a commercial product (M72 × M2 – Hungarian mirror carp) and with M72 purebred. The testing model was derived from similar studies carried out in the conditions of the Czech Republic, where an internal control of different scale cover is used to eliminate all non‐genetic effects. ancova revealed at market size significantly better growth in M72 × Dor (1 619±28.3 g; LS mean±SE) and M72 × PL (1475±29.8 g) compared with M72 (1278±26.3 g). Survival during the test of 3 years duration was significantly the best in the M72 × Dor hybrid as were the dressing out parameters measured at market size, even if these were significantly different only in proportion of fillets with skin (39.1±0.28%). Interestingly, the crossbred M72 × M2 commonly used by Czech fishermen showed for both, growth (1371±26.2 g) and survival, the lowest values among crossbreds and with regard to dressing out parameters mostly among all tested groups.  相似文献

The objective of the study was to evaluate the anaesthetic effects of Propiscin (2% etomidate) and 2-phenoxyethanol on common carp ( Cyprinus carpio L.) by observing neural and behavioural measures. When exposed to the anaesthetic agent, the carp lost equilibrium after approximately 90 s of exposure. They did not breathe and the controls did not respond to tail pinch or prick or 6 V at the skin of the upper jaw. A shift to lower frequencies on the electroencephalogram (EEG) and computing fast Fourier transformation was observed when exposed to water containing Propiscin or 2-phenoxyethanol. Heart rate was reduced after placement in the water containing an anaesthetic agent. It may be concluded from our results that common carp were immobilized and sedated, when exposed to water containing 2 mL L−1 Propiscin and immobilized and anaesthetized in water containing 0.5 mL L−1 2-phenoxyethanol. In addition, the use of EEG provides for a sound assessment of exposure of carp to these anaesthetics.  相似文献

An 8‐week feeding trial was conducted to compare the effects of different lysine isomers on growth, nutrient utilization and metabolic enzyme activity in common carp (Cyprinus carpio). A basic experimental diet (the control group) with 30% of dietary protein from fish meal and the remaining 70% from soybean meal was used either with or without supplementation of d‐ lysine, l‐ lysine or dl‐ lysine, respectively. The total feed intake was significantly improved by supplementation with lysine regardless of isomeric form (P < 0.05). Supplementation with d‐ lysine or l‐ lysine (but not dl‐ lysine) generally increased the weight gain, specific growth rate, feed efficiency ratio and protein efficiency ratio. Dietary lysine supplementation generally increased the apparent digestibility of dry matter, crude protein and crude lipid, but no statistically significant differences were observed between the control group and the lysine‐supplement groups (P > 0.05). The d‐ amino acid oxidase and d‐ aspartate oxidase activities were generally higher in the liver, kidney and intestine of fish fed diet containing d‐ lysine compared to fish fed diet containing l‐ lysine. The lysine, protein and lipid gains in fish were markedly increased by the supplementation with d‐ lysine or l‐ lysine, and the lysine (r = 0.618, P < 0.05) and protein gains (r = 0.671, P < 0.05) were linearly related to dietary lysine intake. Lysine retention efficiency linearly decreased with the increase of dietary lysine intake (r = ?0.579, P < 0.05). These results indicate that common carp are capable of utilizing the supplemental crystalline d‐ lysine·HCl (4 g kg?1 dry diet) for growth when the rest of dietary amino acids are protein‐bound forms.  相似文献

China and Hungary are major providers of the common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) in East Asia and Europe respectively. However, the genetic variation and relationship of this species in the two countries have been poorly understood. In this study, mitochondrial COII‐tRNALys and D‐loop sequences were analysed to investigate the genetic structure and relationships of the representative wild and domesticated common carps distributed in China and Hungary. The results indicated that the genetic diversities of the Chinese common carps are higher than those of Hungarian common carps, and the diversities of the wild common carps are higher than those of domesticated common carps in both the countries. Analysis of molecular variance and pairwise FST demonstrated a significant genetic divergence between the Chinese and the Hungarian common carps, and between the wild and the domesticated common carps. Bayesian phylogenetic analysis and statistical parsimony network showed an obvious genetic differentiation between the Chinese and the Hungarian common carps, between the wild and the domesticated common carps. However, a few specimens and haplotypes from the Chinese wild common carps appeared in the Hungarian common carps, demonstrating that there was no absolutely isolated and possible genetic linker between the Chinese and the Hungarian common carps.  相似文献

To compare the effect of polyculture against conventional monoculture on ornamental carp production, investigations on food selection and growth performance of koi carp (K), Cyprinus carpio L. and goldfish (G), Carassius auratus (L.) were conducted in a 11‐week rearing experiment in two monoculture (100% K and 100% G) and five polyculture (90% K–10% G, 70% K–30% G, 50% K–50% G, 30% K–70% G and 10% K–90% G) conditions in tropical ponds. There were three replicates for each treatment. Environmental conditions and food availability were similar in all the treatments. Ivlev's electivity index showed that both fish species avoided phytoplankton and preferred cladocerans to other zooplankton groups (copepods and rotifers) in monotypic conditions. However, in the polyculture treatments, the positive electivity of goldfish towards cladocerans reduced significantly (P<0.05), while the percentage of copepods, rotifers and phytoplankton in the gut content increased. No significant differences in weight gain, specific growth rate and deformities were recorded at harvest for koi carp between the different treatments (P>0.05). Even the survival rate of koi carp recorded above 90% in all the treatments. However, the goldfish recorded significantly better weight gain, specific growth rate and survival in monoculture (100% G), compared with the polyculture treatments (P<0.05). Goldfish deformities were lowest (P<0.05) in the monoculture treatment (2.42%). The number of marketable fish above a set size limit of 4 g total weight was significantly higher in the two monoculture treatments, compared with the five polyculture treatments (P<0.05). Keeping in view of the dietary similarities of koi carp and goldfish, and the aggressive nature of koi carp in polyculture, it is suggested to refrain from polyculture of goldfish and koi carp until further documentations relating to optimum stocking density and management of polyculture of ornamental carps are available.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to determine the possibility of inclusion of cold‐pressed rapeseed cake (CPRC) in diets for common carp, Cyprinus carpio L. Four isonitrogenous (322 g kg?1 crude protein) and isoenergetic diets (17.5 MJ kg?1) with four levels of CPRC incorporation 0, 110, 220 and 330 g kg?1 (treatments RC0, RC11, RC22 and RC33, respectively) were evaluated in a 50‐day growth test with common carp of 500 g initial weight. Statistically significant higher final weights (1215–1243 g) were obtained in fish fed diets including CPRC. Fish growth rates were nearly identical in all treatments (specific growth rate of 1.7–1.8% day?1). Similar results were obtained in respect of feeding coefficients (FCR) that ranged from 1.6 to 1.8. Crude protein and ash concentration in fish bodies did not change. Statistically significant decreases in moisture content were found in carp in groups RC22 and RC33. Statistically significant increase of crude lipid in fish bodies were found in groups RC22 and RC33. The slaughter traits and meat quality analysis of carp did not show significant differences. We conclude that it is possible to include up to 330 g kg?1 of CPRC in diets of 2‐year‐old common carp without significant effects on growth and food utilization.  相似文献

An 11‐week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary protein and/or energy levels on growth, feed efficiency and proximate composition of juvenile (average weight: 21.5 g) common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) fed various diets based on constant daily protein input. Five experimental diets were prepared. One group of diets (diets 1, 2 and 3) contained three crude protein (P) levels (35%, 40% and 45%) with a constant gross energy (GE) of 3.8 kcal g?1 diet. The second group of diets (diets 4 and 5) were formulated to contain a GE of 4.3 or 4.9 kcal g?1 diet and 40% or 45% protein levels, respectively, where GE/P was constant at 10.8 kcal g?1 protein. Fish receiving diet 1 served as the control; they were hand‐fed to visual satiety. Feed allowance for diets 2 and 4 was 87.5% of the control. Feed allowance for fish receiving diets 3 and 5 was 77.8% of the control. Thus, all tanks received the same daily protein input. When gross energy in the diets was constant, 3.8 kcal g?1 diet, weight gain of fish fed diet 2 at 87.5% satiation was significantly higher than that of fish fed diet 3 at 77.8% of satiation. When the GE/P in the diets was constant, 10.8 kcal g?1 protein, weight gain of fish fed diet 1 was significantly higher than that of fish fed diet 5 at 77.8% satiation. The feed efficiency ratio (FER) for diets 2–5 was significantly higher than for diet 1 at constant GE and GE/P, and this improved linearly as dietary protein levels increased. The protein efficiency ratio (PER) for diet 2 was significantly higher than for diet 3 at constant GE. However, PER was not significantly different at constant GE/P. Protein retention of fish fed diet 2 was significantly higher than that of fish fed diet 3 at constant GE. Protein retention of fish linearly decreased at constant GE/P. The energy efficiency ratios (EER) for diets 2 and 3 were significantly higher than for diet 1 at constant GE. Moisture and protein contents of the whole body of fish were not significantly different at constant GE, but they decreased linearly at constant GE/P. The lipid content of fish fed diet 1 was significantly lower than that of fish fed diet 2 at constant GE, and body lipid content linearly increased at constant GE/P. These results indicate that growth and feed efficiency for common carp fed a 40% protein diet with 3.8 kcal g?1 diet GE at 87.5% satiation rate was superior to those for the fish fed either a 35% protein diet with 3.8 kcal g?1 diet GE at 100% satiation rate or a 45% protein diet with either a 3.8 or 4.9 kcal g?1 diet GE at 77.8% satiation rate.  相似文献

This study investigated the effect of dietary bamboo charcoal (BC) supplementation on the growth performance and health status of juvenile common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). A 63‐day feeding trial was carried out wherein the carp were reared on diets containing increasing levels of BC (0%, 0.5%, 1%, 2% and 4%). Treatment with BC did not produce any obvious effect (p > .05) on the growth performance of the juvenile common carp and on the overall muscle fatty acid composition. However, significant improvements (< .05) were reported on serum indicators such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total protein (TP), triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL) and glucose (GLU) with the 4% inclusion level producing the most beneficial effects without adversely affecting some of the indices that were not improved at this level. Improvements were further observed in the intestinal villus length and goblet cells numbers at 4% supplementation. Although some evidence of potential toxicity exists, the overall findings of this study suggest that supplementation of common carp diets with 4% BC has a potential to enhance serum biochemical indices, intestinal functions and fatty acid content in common carp. Furthermore, while no positive effects were observed on the growth performance and total muscle fatty acid composition, no adverse effects were reported on these parameters. Therefore, BC has the potential to be used as a feed additive in the diets of juvenile common carp to improve health status and intestinal function.  相似文献

A 6‐week trial was carried out with 900 juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) to investigate the effects of dietary zinc on growth, body composition and intestinal enzyme activities. Diets supplemented with increasing levels (15.3, 26.9, 40.8, 58.2, 68.9 and 92.5 mg Zn kg?1) of zinc lactate were fed to Jian carp (mean initial weight 15.7 ± 0.01 g). Results indicated that per cent weight gain (PWG), feed efficiency (FE), protein efficiency ratio (PER) and lipid productive value (LPV) enhanced with dietary zinc levels up to 40.8 mg kg?1 diet (P < 0.05), and plateaued thereafter (P > 0.05). Feed intake (FI) was similar to that observed for PWG. Intestosomatic index (ISI), relative gut length (RGL), hepatopancreas protein content (HPC), intestine protein content (IPC), trypsin, chymotrypsin, lipase, amylase, alkaline phosphatase (AKP), Na+, K+‐ATPase and γ‐glutamyl transpeptidase (γ‐GT) activities were all higher by dietary zinc supplementation than zinc un‐supplementation (P < 0.05). These results suggested that zinc could promote growth and increase nutrient deposition and intestinal enzyme activities. The dietary zinc requirements (use zinc lactate as zinc source) of juvenile Jian carp (15.7–42.2 g) based on PWG and serum zinc were 48.7 and 43.2 mg Zn kg?1 diet, respectively.  相似文献

Apelin and its receptor apj have a variety of biological functions and are involved in appetite and energy regulation. However, the comparative studies of apelin/apj system in fish are still absent. In this study, the open reading frames of apelin and apja and apjb were obtained. Apelin and apj mRNAs were widely distributed in all tissues detected, with the highest level in the brain, followed by the spleen, kidney and foregut. The mRNA expression of apelin and apjs increased rapidly at mealtime and significantly decreased after 30 min of feeding. In addition, there were obvious circadian rhythms (higher at nighttime and lower at daytime) in the expression of apelin and apja and apjb. Furthermore, fasting elevated the mRNA levels of apelin and apjs in the hypothalamus, foregut and hepatopancreas. When the 8‐day fasted fish were refed, apelin and apjs mRNA expression significantly decreased. However, there were differences in the response to fasting and refeeding between apja and apjb. The roles of apelin and its receptor apjs in fish are poorly understood. Herein, we employed molecular and physiological studies to characterize their structures, distribution and mRNA expression responses to periprandial changes and fasting–refeeding in Cyprinus carpio L. for the first time.  相似文献

A 9‐week feeding trial was carried out with juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) to study the effects of dietary phosphorus on growth, body composition, intestinal enzyme activities and microflora. Quadruple groups of juvenile Jian carp (7.17 ± 0.01 g) were fed practical diets containing available phosphorus 1.7 (unsupplemented control), 3.6, 5.5, 7.3, 9.2 and 11.0 g kg?1 diet to satiation. Feed intake, specific growth ratio and feed efficiency were the lowest in fish fed the basal diet (P < 0.05). Body moisture, protein, lipid content and ash were all significantly affected by dietary available phosphorus levels (P < 0.05). Activities of trypsin, amylase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, alkaline phosphatase and gamma‐glutamyl transpeptidase were improved with increasing dietary phosphorus levels. Intestinal Aeromonas and Escherichia coli decreased with increasing dietary phosphorus up to 3.6 and 5.5 g kg?1 diet respectively (P < 0.05), while Lactobacillus increased with the increasing dietary phosphorus up to 9.2 g kg?1 diet (P < 0.05). These results suggested that phosphorus could enhance intestinal enzyme activities of juvenile Jian carp and the minimum dietary available phosphorus requirement for SGR of juvenile Jian carp (7.2–63.8 g) was 5.2 g kg?1 diet.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding trial was carried out with juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) to study the effects of myo‐inositol (MI) on the growth, digestive enzyme and intestinal microbial population. Diets with seven levels of inositol (163.5, 232.7, 384.2, 535.8, 687.3, 838.8 and 990.3 mg MI kg?1 diet) were fed to Jian carp (initial weight 22.28±0.07 g). Per cent weight gain (PWG) was improved with increasing inositol levels up to 535.8 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05), and plateaued (P>0.05). The protein production value, lipid production value and ash production value were increased with increasing dietary inositol levels up to 384.2, 838.8 and 838.8 mg MI kg?1 diet respectively (P<0.05). Although intestinal protein content and trypsin activity were not affected by inositol levels (P>0.05), chymotrypsin, lipase and amylase activities in intestine were the lowest for fish fed the MI‐unsupplemented diet (P<0.05). Alkaline phosphatase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, γ‐glutamyl transpeptidase and creatinkinase activities in the intestine were increased with an increase in the inositol levels up to 384.2–687.3 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05). Intestinal Aeromonas hydrophila and Escherichia coli decreased with an increase in the levels of dietary inositol up to 232.7 and 687.3 mg MI kg?1 diet respectively (P<0.05), while Lactobacillus in the intestine increased with an increase in inositol levels up to 990.3 mg MI kg?1 diet (P<0.05). In conclusion, inositol improved growth, digestive capacity and intestinal microbial population of juvenile Jian carp, and the dietary inositol requirement for PWG of juvenile Jian carp is 518.0 mg MI kg?1 diet.  相似文献

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of enzymatic hydrolysates of defatted silkworm pupa (EHDSP) on growth performance, body composition and non‐specific immunity of juvenile mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio var. specularis). The control diet (EHDSP0) was produced using fish meal (FM) as the main protein source and the other four diets were formulated by substitution of 25% (EHDSP25), 50% (EHDSP50), 75% (EHDSP75) and 100% (EHDSP100) FM with EHDSP. Five groups containing 270 juvenile mirror carp (14.51 ± 0.03 g) were fed to apparent satiation for 8 weeks. The results indicated that the special growth rate, weight gain, protein efficiency ratio and feed conversion rate of experimental fish in EHDSP25 and EHDSP50 groups were not significantly different from EHDSP0 group (p > .05). The spleen index of experimental fish in EHDSP25 group was significantly higher than that of EHDSP0 group (< .05). The muscle protein content of experimental fish in EHDSP25 and EHDSP50 groups was significantly higher than that of EHDSP0 group (< .05). Serum alanine aminotransferase and total cholesterol of experimental fish fed with the EHDSP were significantly lower than that of control (< .05). The activity of serum superoxide dismutase of experimental fish in EHDSP25, EHDSP50 groups was significantly higher than that of EHDSP0 group (< .05). Intestinal trypsin activity of EHDSP25 group was significantly higher than that of EHDSP0 (p < .05). In conclusion, EHDSP can be included into diet to replace 50% FM of juvenile mirror carp without negative effect on growth, furthermore, it can improve the non‐specific immunity and function of intestinal tract.  相似文献

A 9-week feeding trial was carried out with juvenile Jian carp to study the effect of dietary pantothenic acid (PA) on growth, body composition and intestinal enzyme activities. Semi-purified diets with seven levels (4.0, 15.5, 25.6, 36.1, 45.9, 56.1 and 65.9 mg PA kg−1) of supplemental calcium d -pantothenate were fed to Jian carp (13.0 ± 0.0 g). PA improved specific growth rate (SGR), protein productive value (PPV), protein efficiency ratio (PER) and lipid production value (LPV) ( P <  0.05). Fish fed the control diet had significantly lower feed efficiency (FE) than that in any other group ( P <  0.05). Body protein content increased with increasing PA levels ( P <  0.05), but moisture, lipid and ash of fish carcasses were negatively related to the graded PA levels ( P <  0.05). Intestine protein content (IPC), hepatopancreas protein content (HPC) and activity of α-amylase, lipase, trypsin, Na+,K+-ATPase, alkaline phosphatase (AKP) and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-GT) were all positively affected by the dietary PA levels ( P <  0.05), while intestine index (ISI) and hepatopancreas index (HSI) decreased with the increment of supplemental levels of PA ( P <  0.05). These results suggested that PA could enhance fish growth and intestinal enzyme activities. The dietary PA requirement of juvenile Jian carp, Cyprinus carpio var . Jian (13.0–73.0 g), for optimal growth estimated by the broken-line analysis was 23.0 mg PA kg−1 diet.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding trial was carried out to investigate the effect of iron on growth, body composition and digestive enzyme activities. Diets with seven levels of iron (53.9, 90.0, 115.6, 146.1, 176.0, 215.8 and 266.0 mg iron kg?1 diet) were fed to Jian carp (initial weight 11.4 ± 0.0 g). Per cent weight gain (PWG), feed efficiency (FE) and protein efficiency ratio were the lowest in fish fed the basal diet (P < 0.05). Body protein content was increased with the increasing iron levels (P < 0.05), but moisture, lipid and ash of fish were not significantly affected by dietary iron levels (P > 0.05). Activities of trypsin, lipase, α‐amylase, Na+, K+‐ATPase, alkaline phosphatase and gamma‐glutamyl transpeptidase were improved with increasing dietary iron levels. Serum iron were significantly enhanced with dietary iron levels up to 146.1 mg iron kg?1 diet, and plateaued. In conclusion, iron improved digestive enzyme activities of juvenile Jian carp and the dietary iron requirement for serum iron of juvenile Jian carp (11.4–64.0 g) was 147.4 mg iron kg?1 diet with ferrous fumarate as the iron source.  相似文献

A 60‐day feeding trial was conducted to examine the effects of different levels (0, 100, 200, 400 and 600 mg/kg) of antimicrobial peptides on growth, protease activity of foregut, the morphology of foregut villi and related genes mRNA expression level in the common carp (Cyprinus carpio). The results showed that the feed of antimicrobial peptides promote common carp growth, and the optimal dosage of antimicrobial peptides is 200–333 mg/kg in the common carp feed. The protease activity of 200 and 400 mg/kg groups were significantly higher than the control and other groups (p < 0.05). The foregut villus height with 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg antimicrobial peptide groups were significantly higher than control group (p < 0.05). The crypt depth of 200 and 400 mg/kg antimicrobial peptide groups were significantly lower than control group (p < 0.05). The ratio of villus height and crypt depth of 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg antimicrobial peptide groups were significantly higher than control group (p < 0.05). The ratio with 600 mg/kg group was significantly lower than the control group (p < 0.05). The IGF‐I gene expression level of 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg groups were significantly higher than the control group and 600 mg/kg group (p < 0.05). The IL‐1β gene expression level of 100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg groups were significantly higher than the control group (p < 0.05). These results indicated up‐regulation of growth and immune related genes in antimicrobial peptides fed common carp. Correlation analysis showed that IGF‐I mRNA and IL‐1β mRNA were positively correlated with SGR. IL‐1β mRNA and FCR were significantly negative correlated. It indicated that growth and immune gene common regulated the growth of the carp under antimicrobial peptides intervention. In conclusion, antimicrobial peptides can improve growth and related genes mRNA expression in the common carp. Further studies using molecular biological technique or immunologic methods are required to conclude that antimicrobial peptides are beneficial in common carp.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of valine on growth, intestinal enzyme activities and microflora in juvenile Jian carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian). A total of 1200 fish with an average initial weight of 9.67 ± 0.03 g were fed diets containing 5.3 (unsupplemented control), 8.7, 11.8, 14.9, 18.7 and 20.1 g valine kg?1 diet for 60 days. Results indicated that the specific growth rate, feed efficiency, body protein and lipid content of fish were significantly improved by the dietary valine (< 0.05). The hepatopancreas weight and activities of trypsin, amylase, lipase, chymotrypsin, glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) and glutamate pyruvate transaminase (GPT) took the similar trends. Similarly, the optimum levels of dietary valine induced increases in the intestinal length, weight, folds height and activities of alkaline phosphatase, gamma‐glutamyl transpeptidase and creatine kinase. In contrast, the trends of muscle GOT activity and plasma ammonia content were opposite. Intestinal Aeromonas, Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus and Bacillus were changed by dietary valine supplementations. The dietary valine requirement for Jian carp (9.67–76.4 g) based on SGR was 13.7 g valine kg?1 diet (4.0 g valine 100 g?1 CP). Together, these results indicated that valine improved fish growth, digestive and absorptive ability.  相似文献

This study investigated the effects of glutamate (Glu) in low‐phosphorus diets on growth performance, haematological indices, antioxidant enzyme activity, immune‐related gene expression and resistance to Aeromonas hydrophila in juvenile mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio) (5.07 ± 0.02 g). Fish were fed either graded levels of Glu (0 g/kg, 5 g/kg,  10 g/kg and 20 g/kg, named G0, G0.5, G1 and G2, respectively) in a low‐phosphorus diet (15 g/kg NaH2PO4, 0.49), or a normal phosphorus diet ( 20 g/kg NaH2PO4, 0.61) without added Glu (C), for 8 weeks. At the end of the feeding trial, the fish were challenged with A. hydrophila. Compared with G0 group, 10 g/kg and 20 g/kg Glu supplementation of the low‐phosphorus diet significantly improved the final weight, WGR, SGR and PER, and decreased FCR (p < .05). Glu supplementation of the low‐phosphorus diet significantly enhanced the T‐AOC, SOD activity and GSH content in intestine (p < .05). Glu supplementation significantly reduced MDA content in foregut and midgut and increased CAT activity in midgut and hindgut (p < .05). Regarding immune‐related gene expression, Glu supplementation significantly diminished the up‐regulation of intestinal TNF‐α, IL‐1β and IL‐8 mRNA levels induced by phosphorus deficiency (p < .05). The survival rate of the G1 group was significantly higher than that of the G0 group (p < .05). In conclusion, 10 g/kg Glu supplementation in low‐phosphorus diets can improve the growth performance, enhance the activity of intestinal antioxidant enzymes and strengthen the immune function of juvenile mirror carp.  相似文献

The effects of methionine‐enriched Artemia nauplii on growth, amino acid profiles and activity of absorption enzymes and antioxidant capability of common carp (Cyprinus carpio var. Jian) larvae were investigated in this study. The newly hatched Artemia nauplii enriched with methionine at four levels (0, 400, 800, 1,600 mg/L) for 16 hr was used as live food for common carp larvae for 21 days. The results demonstrated that the level of methionine in nauplii enriched with methionine increased significantly as the level of supplemental methionine rose (p < 0.05). The specific growth rate (SGR) and body length growth rate (BLGR) values in all experimental groups were significantly higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05) in the trial period. With the supplement of methionine, the amino acid profiles vary depending on the type of amino acid and/or the level of methionine applied. Further examination revealed that the activity of absorption enzymes in the 800 and 1,600 mg/L groups were all significantly higher compared to the other two groups (p < 0.05). Similar results on the antioxidant capability of fish larvae were also observed among the treatments. The changes in these physiological factors allowed for the control of the content of supplemental methionine in Artemia nauplii for larvae and potentially the ability to improve the growth performance of common carp larvae.  相似文献
