The leaves, stem bark, stem heart wood, root and tubers of Angiopteris evecta were successively extracted with petrol, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, butanol and methanol. All the fractions exhibited a wider spectrum of antibacterial activity. The dichloromethane and ethyl acetate fractions of the leaves and stem bark were particularly good and were the only fractions exhibiting antifungal activity. All fractions of the tuber with the exception of petrol, exhibited very good antibacterial activity. 相似文献

The Breynia cernua leaves, stem and root barks and heart-woods extracted with petrol, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, butanol and methanol gave fractions with varied level of antimicrobial activity. The best activity was exhibited by the methanol extract of the root bark followed by its butanol fraction. These were the only fractions exhibiting a good level of antifungal activity as compared to the standard. The dichloromethane fraction of the stem bark also demonstrated good activity. 相似文献

The crude methanolic extracts of the leaves, stem bark, stem heart wood, root bark and root heart wood of Euroschinus papuanus and the fractions obtained on partitioning with petrol, dichloromethane (D), ethyl acetate (E) and butanol (B), exhibited a broad spectrum antibacterial activity. Fractionation drastically enhanced the activity. Excellent activity was demonstrated by the E fractions of stem heart wood, D of root bark, and E of root heart wood. The crude methanolic extracts of the leaves, stem and root barks of Drancantomelon dao and their subsequent partitioning (petrol, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, butanol) gave fractions which demonstrated a very good level of broad spectrum antibacterial activity. Methylene chloride and methanol extracts of 20 Indonesian plants with ethnomedical uses have been assessed for in vitro antibacterial and antifungal properties by disk diffusion method. Extracts of the six plants: Terminalia catappa, Swietenia mahagoni Jacq., Phyllanthus acuminatus, Ipomoea spp., Tylophora asthmatica and Hyptis brevipes demonstrated high activity in this bioassay system. The β-carboline alkaloids of Peganum harmala L were extracted through a bioassay-guided fractionation and their antimicrobial activities were investigated. Results revealed significant differences (P > 0.05) between compounds depending on the microorganism tested and the application method. When examined individually, harmine was the most effective against Proteus vulgaris, Bacillus subtilis and Candida albicans where inhibition zones ranged between 21.2 and 24.7 mm. Potentiality of the alkaloids was increased when applied as binary mixtures suggesting a kind of synergistic interaction with inhibition zones reaching 31.5 mm with the total alkaloidal extract. The essential oil of Artemisia annua aerial parts, consisting of camphor (44%), germacrene D (16%), trans-pinocarveol (11%), beta-selinene (9%), beta-caryophyllene (9%) and artemisia ketone (3%), was screened for its antimicrobial activity. The essential oil remarkably inhibited the growth of tested Gram-positive bacteria Enterococcus hirae and both tested fungi. Three new lignans, erythro-strebluslignanol (1), threo-7'-methoxyl strebluslignanol (2) and erythro-7'-methoxyl strebluslignanol (3), together with twelve known compounds were isolated from the n-butanol and chloroform fractions of the heartwood of Streblus asper. Their structures were elucidated through extensive spectroscopic methods, including MS and 2D NMR experiments (HMQC and HMBC). The stereochemistry at the chiral center was determined using CD spectra, as well as analysis of coupling constants and optical rotation data, respectively. Primary bioassays showed that 6-hydroxyl-7-methoxyl-coumarin (5) and ursolic acid (10) showed anti-HBV activities, with IC(50) values of 29.60 μM and 89.91 μM for HBsAg at no cytotoxicity, and IC(50) values of 46.41 μM and 97.61 μM for HBeAg at no cytotoxicity, respectively. 相似文献

根据中国森林生态网络体系城市森林建设需要,为了给生态保健型绿化模式选择具有分泌植物杀菌素的芳香型树种,研究了樟树、龙柏、侧柏、广玉兰、雪松等5种树种的植物挥发物对金黄色葡萄球菌和大肠杆菌的抑菌活性。结果表明,这5种供试树种植物挥发油均具抑菌活性。对金黄色葡萄球菌抑菌活性为龙柏(强)>香樟(强)>广玉兰(具活性)>侧柏(具活性)>雪松(具活性);对大肠杆菌抑菌活性为侧柏(强)>广玉兰(较强)>龙柏(较强)>香樟(较强)>雪松(具活性)。其中以龙柏、香樟植物挥发油的抑菌作用强,是城市森林生态保健型绿化模式选择的好树种;广玉兰、侧柏、雪松的抑菌活性潜力尚待进一步研究。 相似文献

Compounds with maleimide, both natural and synthesized, have good biological activities, especially the antifungal activity. In order to investigate the antifungal activity of dimethylmaleimides, 17 N-substituted dimethylmaleimides were prepared from the reactions of 2,3-dimethyl maleic anhydride and amines using a facile synthetic method in this paper. These compounds were evaluated for antifungal activities against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum by the mycelium growth rate method. They exhibited minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) ranging from 0.01–50.0 μg/mL, with N-(2-benzimidazole)-3,4-dimethylmaleimide being the most active one with an MIC of 0.01 μg/mL. The structure and activity relationship on these compounds indicated that the hydrophobicity of the N-substituents is associated with their antifungal activity. Compared to current antifungals, most of N-substituted dimethylmaleimides have a perfect activity for S. sclerotiorum control and low toxicity. 相似文献

采用傅里叶变换红外光谱技术比较红心杉与普通杉的化学官能团.结果表明:两种木材红外光谱特征吸收峰的位置、数目及形状相似.差异出现在波数1 800 ~ 600 cr-之间,红心杉中1 736 cm-吸收峰/(I1736)变得不明显.红心杉中超过50%特征峰吸收相对强度大于普通杉.红心杉的I1510/I1 736和I1 510/I1 372比值均小于普通杉.红心杉I1270/I1230,I1425/I96,I1372/I667和I1372/I2917均大于普通杉.据此,红心杉中木质素和半纤维素含量低于普通杉,而综纤维素含量大于普通杉.红心杉木质素中愈创木基单元比例较高,且纤维素结晶度大于普通杉. 相似文献

The volatile fraction of Chrysanthemum viscidehirtum aerial parts, consisting mainly of limonene, beta-farnesene and many oxygenated sesquiterpenes, was screened for activity against 21 microbial strains. This essential oil exhibited activity against all germs tested, in particular Salmonella typhi and Proteus mirabilis. It also showed molluscicidal activity against Bulinus truncatus. 相似文献
